landing on the pier, charm shook out his wings with an agitated huff before shifting down into his human form, looking out onto the unstable waters. the noises coming from them and the dark clouds left him perturbed about the ongoing rage that was the waters of Haven. he didn't mind a storm but this didn't give him storm vibes, he was sensing something a lot darker than that, like the anger of God's that he'd felt before. even as someone with the blood of nations on his hands and a dislike for the God's, the idea alone sent a chill through his spine, pointed ears tilting back. he'd spent long enough imprisoned on the island by said beings to know it wasn't wise to comment on whatever was brewing.
moving from his spot, he settled down to look into the water, the pier far enough out for him to see the sea life in a ruckus because of the weather. he would assume the caves were currently full of meetings and emergency plans to close off just in case it bothered the foundation. he saw the sympathetic eyes of familiar faces and scowled, knowing had he been able to relive his life, he'd still be the same way he was. considering the stance of dragons through history, he had every right to stand above and treat the lives of others just as he'd done, but that was an argument for another day. the only creatures charm felt anything for, for the most part, were those under the water- the only ones who generally didn't have to face the wrath of everything and everyone else.
