Yawns with a small, upward stretch of the arms as she wanders into the lounge area, a small grunt leaving her lips before she takes a seat on the nearest sofa to her.

She bids a quiet "good morning" in response, pretending to flip a page and read it just to keep up her charade as he spares her a glance. As soon as his eyes return to his book, however, she's back to observing him. He looks as though he hadn't slept for days, judging by the way his eyes seem to lull a tad as he scans the pages of his book. Aside from his apparent tiredness, he didn't give off any unfriendly signals, so Élo decides to take a chance. Exchange more than just a casual greeting. "...What book are you reading? It's hard to catch the title in this light."

Gabriel’s senses at the current hour were quite dull. So much to the point that when the mysterious figure came into view quietly and calmly, he jolted a little. There’s an awkward shift in his seat as the upper body leans off the backing of the chair to sit up straight. There’s a brief moment of hesitation before wishing the figure a good morning in naught but a whisper. The mug loosely held in his hands, is coddled close to his body as he eagerly sips at the hot beverage in his exhaustion.

From somewhere beyond the shelves, she unintentionally looms from a distance, wondering just why the human was here so early in the morning. No one usually was. Well, no one besides her and the occasional boy toy. With some reluctance, she decides to join the other in the light, finding any old book to pretend read as she takes a seat nearby to curiously watch the other from the corner of her eye.

Finding himself unable to sleep, Gabriel sits in the library with a cup of coffee at 4 in the morning. Expression showcasing fatigue while sitting with one leg bracing on the opposing knee beside a standing lamp with a warm glow over his frame. A small stack of books is on the floor by his feet, indicating his eventual willingness to read.

Gabriel is seen in the hallway on the phone presumably with family as he shares warm greetings for the holidays to someone or a set of people on the other end. The worn expression looks tired, but happy.

Gabriel holds a small book in his hand and ear pieces in while feet pace the open premises, speaking a foreign language, sometimes correctly, sometimes, quite poorly, to which he's stop and repeat it until it matched what was being heard before continuing down the page.
