He removed loose thread away from your forehead, and cupped your cheeks taking long and deep breaths in and out.* No one gave up on you. Whatever happened can still be fix baby, but you need to calm down first. *He was patient, calm and collected. He was your rock that slowly guided you down from your high.* I am not mad at you. At least here or his original world, he did not need worry about his appearance. His uninviting face. His cold soulless eyes. All while maintaining the rotations of the two other demons from the shadows. Unseen. After last week, he thought this to be the better answer. That previous week he was barely there in order to not to make others uncomfortable by nearing his lover was as much a sacrifice for him as the other sacrifices were until he had eventually directly gave in and spoke to hoseok his lover of those thoughts. Yet when he had decided after that he may be able to join with hoseok as long as they weren’t so intimate, the day before he decided to finally enter, he heard those words uttered by the very people he was trying to manage the rotations for saying that Taehyung was better suited than V. That’s when he too decided that he’d try removing himself from the rotation without notifying the others in hopes to slowly disappear from their immediate thoughts. He would become the true shadow yet again.*

*those were his thoughts as by now he has made a routine here in the mansion. He would wake up, go to work, come back home. Only if he was called by his lover by name would he appear; other than that his presence was unnecessary.*

*today though was a break day for the weekend so he had slowly woken up before making coffee and sitting to close his eyes in the silence to let despair cover him even in the white brightness of the walls. V raised his head at the presence of another familiar one before that sweet voice of yours spoke. He opened his eyes slowly at your soft banter. Even currently, you looked perfect. You always looked beautiful. It felt like a dream yet V cannot have dreams, only nightmares. So this must be reality. He watched the figure pad carefully with that reassuring smile he loved. He observes with his own soulless eyes before you kissed his hand and pulled him up. Then he properly spoke*…hoseok *he observed the other as his hand felt the sensation of a warm human body contrary to his cold lifeless one. Then you sang, his lips parting mesmerized. Here he could be himself. Here he could truly admire, love and touch you without worry. Without not being a better Taehyung as well. Only you. Just you. He played the next verse in our minds as his hands squeezed your waist lightly, lifting you slightly off your feet as we danced across the bedroom*

So he raised his chin, and moved pushing, the Halloween memories away. This is not Halloween and he is not fighting for his life. He survived, he reminded himself as he walked. *

*As he walked, searching for you, he kept repeating things he wanted to say to you. Deal he wanted to make to make this relationship work. He will push, he will insist. He is not a quitter even if it would be so nice and easy now.  He let his soul guide him,  using the connection to find a hole you were hiding in. He knocked on the door and walked in, his eyes moving around before his gaze rested on you. His heart skipped the beat and seized with need. Yes, he was tired and annoyed yet still very much in love. That's why he was here.*

So that's when you are hiding, huh? Cozy. *He close the door behind him, resting on the doorway with arms crossed over his chest and a smile on his face.* Hiding away from me and a world, my Lord? *He pushed himself away from the door, and slowly walked towards you, taking your hand,  kissing the top of it, and pulling you to your feet. His body gently rested against yours as he placed the same hand he kissed on his waist and picked the other one. Dancing. He was dancing with you, humming the phantom of the opera, resting his cheek on your shoulder. Reminding you of the love and everything that connected you two and brought you together.*

*he holds you close to him* beautiful, I have never once claimed I am perfect. Therefore no, many of my actions I cannot state I condone them today. For example when I hurt you by …meeting my original hoseok in a dream between my servant and his ex? I missed you so greatly that I hurt you through the envy. This and many more instances I would never state I was acting in the right mindset. However I will say that I was acting in our best interest by having Taehyung have the opportunity to fall for you. Regardless if it succeeded, he would not hurt you. before the multiverse he had the opportunity to regret and execute revenge on us yes? However he was starting to grow fond of you and therefore he did not kill you. Now he is, for lack of better word, lost as he has grown in his awareness. I suppose…I cannot completely predict him as well because his story has changed from my own ever since his original hoseok never rejected him in the cage. My original hoseok rejected me and I was forced to build a new path which eventually gained me you. He did not need to and yet mayhaps we pushed him much too quickly?
As I am not perfect, this has become yet another new experience for me to learn from

That makes sense, but also, not really. *Says softly, rubbing circles into your chest.* You locked me away, caged me, just to give me to someone else. I can understand patience, but not such contradiction. You waited, you got me all for yourself, so why give me away, why let me fall in love with him? *The moment you appeared, he reached out.* Hi *Weak whisper greeted you as he wrapped him tightly around you. He presses his face against your neck, breathing slowly, in and out, letting it calm him.* Mhm, it comforts me.

*he appears in a thick cloud of black smoke before it dissuades* you are wearing my clothes again… *he stalks further inside with his tall stature before gently holding your head and resting it against his chest. He would never say he understood your sadness however he could be present at least.*

*Hoseok dragged his tired body through the empty halls to the bedroom he shares with you. He was tired, his soul was exhausted, and his heart ached. He just wanted to break down, but he didn't want to be alone when it hits him. He wants to bury himself in your arms and hide away, preferably for days, until he feels like he can breathe again. Somehow, he undressed automatically, leaving his clothes on the floor and reaching for your white dressing shirt. It was comfortably big on him and smelled like you, and he buried his face in its collar. He crawls under the comforter, pulling it over his head, waiting for you, hoping that his message was delivered.*
