*the same could be applied to Jeongguk. But unlike chanyeol, Jeongguk an incubus had been world hopping for so long, depicting whatever image his victims wanted for so long, that he lost almost every bit of his self-image already. The only thing that kept him stable despite all the different personalities, experiences he acted in, was his original universe in his original freshmen college student body, outside of his hyungs, no one but his ex and his current romantic interest witnessed. But then…Having that human body again then being forced to grow it to 20 years made his self-identity worse in the beginning of his time in the multiverse. It’s again that ship building philosophical argument; at which point when you remove piece by piece of a ship does it become a new ship? Or was it the same one?*

*There was even a time when Jeongguk vehemently told his boss he can’t do it, can’t force his image to change losing the last anchor he had and just go ahead and kill his human body so at least it stayed untouched even if dead. He’d be done and only stick to being himself by at least through preserving how he thought about his self image through the dead body, how he looked when his body was laid to rest for good. Clearly, he got through it thanks to the trust he placed in his hyungs and his romantic interest who grew aware of the alternate universes by then. But the turmoil would be quite too real for you for sure. Maybe even now your struggle may grow worse but at least now you had an original world to anchor yourself towards when you start to feel like you’re losing too much of yourself and now you have people who are aware of both your before and after. At least now even if a tree fell in the dense forest, no matter how much you changed, it would be heard by him and the others in the multiverse from the private college.*

*but okay, enough of the existentialist inner turmoil. When you face it, even your tormentor who was ing your mercilessly would guide you through it.
