@♢ jung eunwoo ᵏᶦⁿᵍ ziyoung stood there with blushes creeping her rosy cheeks at the answer. of course she know it better than anyone, it was wrong to do this things with her own king but what else she can hope for. there's uncertainty of their future together anyways, and she already know that they probably won't ended up together hence this forbidden love emerges her feelings into something that she wants to do.

the way eunwoo took her hands and lead her towards the bed, even holding around her waist before she smiles shyly and giving in by carefully sitting down on his laps, throwing her arms around the king's neck. ziyoung leans her forehead against his and chuckles. "I want you the same, my king." she pressed her lips against his with her eyes shut closed, slowly getting engrossed with the kisses.

@♢ sung ziyoung ˡᵃᵈʸ′ˢ ᵐᵃᶦᵈ "Have I ever tell you a lie?" Was his answer to her question. As much as he hated it, Eunwoo knew that this lady meant something more than just someone from lower rank for him. Her touch on his cheek made him smile, unconsciously leaning onto her hold. Her request was something that Eunwoo kind of expected, but hearing it straight from her made his heart did a little flip.

Grabbing her hand before she can fully retreated back, Eunwoo lead her towards his bed before he sat down on the edge of the bed, looking up at her then beckoning her to step closer. His hand went up to her waist, all the yearning and passion could be seen in his eyes, one of the moments he let his guard down as he trusted her with all his heart. "Then me you shall have, my lady. I shall grant your request. Come closer. I want to feel you more tonight."

@♢ jung eunwoo ᵏᶦⁿᵍ ziyoung's lips grew into a small smile as the king brushed his thumb against her cherry tiers. hearing the question got her a bit taken aback. how does she answer such a question? but then again, there are only the two of them inside the chambers. she could be more open towards him, and she knows very well the young king will grant anything she wants except for certain things that can't jeopardize their relationship.

"will you truly grant my request, your grace?" she inquired, her voice soft and soothing, betraying the hint of uncertainty that danced in her eyes. with a gentle caress, she lifted her hand to his cheek, her touch tender and affectionate as she admired the handsome contours of his features. "would it be too audacious if what I desire most is simply you?" ziyoung chuckled right after, blush creeping her cheeks as she brought down her hand and looked away in shyness.

ziyoung turned to face the king once more, a tentative smile gracing her lips as she struggled to find the words to express her longing. "might I offer you my company tonight, your majesty?" she finally mustered the courage to ask, her voice betraying the genuine yearning that tugged at her heartstrings. "for I find myself truly missing your presence."

@♢ sung ziyoung The small smile never left Eunwoo's lips as he stared at the lady. He had spent less and less time with her ever since he took the throne and to say that he felt guilty about it might be just right. Even though everything started just so he could spite his father, but the moments he spent with Ziyoung was definitely something memorable enough for him to remember. And it showed by his more than necessary attention towards Ziyoung.

She looked so small, so fragile; compared to his bigger body size and height but maybe that was the charm that enchanted him. Connection. As she put it. They were never be exlusive, or so in Eunwoo's mind since he couldn't be bothered by something trivial as dating someone aside from the one who had been chosen to be his future wife, which he already knew from young age since their parents made sure that they at least spent a time together once a month, and Eunwoo still dutifully fulfil that agreement.

"Our connection... it sounds so formal when you said it like that, but I guess in a way, it is correct." The amusement in his voice was very much could be heard as he continued to caress Ziyoung's bottom lip. "Let me grant you one wish. Ask for anything and you shall get it." His eyes glinted dangerously. But he knew that she would never ask for something outrageous like a marriage or gave her a massive land plot. No. Eunwoo knew Ziyoung wouldn't ask something that could jeopardized their relation, or connection, in her words. "Tell me what you desire."

@♢ jung eunwoo when the king scoffed at her concern, ziyoung couldn't help but offer a small, understanding smile. she had grown accustomed to his stoic demeanor, his voice devoid of emotion, yet she found solace in his presence nonetheless.

as he rose from his chair and closed the distance between them, ziyoung's breath caught in , her pulse quickening at his proximity. when he instructed her to lift her head, she complied, her eyes meeting his with a mixture of curiosity and affection. the touch of his fingers against her chin sent a shiver down her spine, and she couldn't help but close her eyes briefly, savoring the sensation. when she felt his thumb brush against her lips, she instinctively leaned into his touch, her heart pounding in her chest.

opening her eyes once more, ziyoung met eunwoo's gaze with unwavering sincerity. "you know i will never be scared of you," she murmured softly, her voice barely audible in the quiet chamber. "i am just worried that people might learn of our... connection."

despite the risks, she couldn't deny the depth of her feelings for him, her love for the king of hydrosia within her heart.

@♢ sung ziyoung It wasn't unusual for Eunwoo to still being awake despite it's already deep into the nighttime and all he did was just staring outside past the castle's window. A lot of sleepless night ever since he took over the throne from his father, proving the old saying about those who wear the crown must bear it's weight. But at time like this, Eunwoo wished that he was just a commoner, so he could do anything he wished to do.

His cold dark brown eyes shifted towards his chamber's door as it opened, revealing one face that he had summoned earlier. It was very selfish of him to do that, but as a king, he could be selfish for once, right? And even with that soft voice barely above a whisper, he could still hear her clearly and that alone made him smile. As unusual as it might seem, Jung Eunwoo was very thankful of her existence.

Sung Ziyoung. Soojung's lady-in-waiting. Who would've thought someone with a rather low rank like herself became one of people that Eunwoo considered to keep in his life aside from his family? when she voiced out her concern though, the young king let out a scoff. "People are going to talk, no matter what." his voice void of any emotions, the one that might give chill to whoever listened to it for the first time, but Ziyoung was definitely not one of those people. She had her fair share listening to that kind of voice coming from him and he wondered how could it didn't affect her?

Standing up from his chair, Eunwoo took his time as he walked closer toward the female, eyes set on her figure; trying to read her body language. "Lift your head up." was his first order. And when she did, a little slip of smile appeared on the corner of his lips. Eunwoo refused to acknowledge any feelings to resurface since it would do nothing but a mess for him. His future partner should never be less than anyone from upper nobility houses. And definitely he could never choose a lady-in-waiting especially his sister's.

Finally stopping in front of her, he held her chin between his thumb and forefinger; brushing the tip of his thumb over her plump lips. "Tell me. Do I scare you right now, Sung Ziyoung?"

ziyoung stands outside the imposing doors of the king's chamber, her heart pounding in her chest as she takes a moment to steady her nerves. with a deep breath, she pushes open the heavy doors and steps into the dimly lit room, the weight of her worry and anxiety palpable in the air around her.

as the doors close behind her with a soft thud, she approaches the young king, her movements hesitant, her eyes cast downward. "your majesty," she begins, her voice barely above a whisper, "I am here at your summons. may I inquire as to the reason for such a late request? it is not customary for court matters to be attended to at this hour, and I fear the people may misconstrue our actions."

she steals a quick glance at the king, her heart skipping a beat as she catches sight of his regal form bathed in the soft glow of candlelight. despite her best efforts to maintain her composure, she finds herself unable to meet his gaze fully, knowing all too well the effect his piercing eyes have on her.

as a lady-in-waiting to the princess, and by extension, the king's sister, she understands the delicate balance of power within the palace walls. ziyoung knows that her every action is scrutinized, her every word weighed carefully against the expectations of courtly etiquette.
