monologue

(( Event between Seonghwa (has selective mutism but when his family is mentioned all bets are off) and Changkyun (coming back from an event that happened on the road) that happened in the library, happens about a after Seonghwa becomes a Royal Guard for Pyrolith )) :

Changkyun: "Well, it's a little bit out of place for an imp like you to be here isn't it, Hwa?." He walked up to the younger Royal Guard not intimidated at all and scoffed at him thinking about what to do with him. "Are you thinking about the princesses, the King, or maybe Her Royal Highness?" He gets into his ear, "The queen? No matter, if you are just a little piece in their plan, you should know that family here runs thicker than loyalty. I thought you and the Duke of all people should know that right?" He smirked at him and considerably got down to his level. "You think I don't know, Park Seonghwa, I know everything about you, I know the events that happened that changed your life, how you used that to get into the royal family's good graces. I also know about the unfortunate incident about a house that was in by water, a national tragedy for sure, but you aren't supposed to be here are you?"

Seonghwa: He was minding his own business trying to find some information on Hydrosia and what he could learn about the past when a terrible smell of charred blood walked through the room, he sighed as he listened to Chankgyun talk at first, "You are not worth my time General, please carry on." He laughed a bit to himself but as he continued talking he got more concerned and when he mentioned princesses his ears perked up and his liquid fire activated. "Don't talk about them at all. You can get put on trial for that or worse." He glared into the eyes of Changkyun and calmed down a bit realizing that his liquid fire was just exposed in a public place, now concerned with his secret being kept, he looked in fear at Changkyun as he described his childhood tragedy. "Go away now, before we both do something we regret."

Changkyun: He moved closer to Seonghwa smiling even more and whispered tightly in his ear, "I can even hear them screaming now, saying "Seonghwa, save me save me" must have been sad that you couldn't save them." He stepped back a bit seeing the fire, which confirmed what he wanted. "So that is what it is, interesting.. Tell your father that Changkyun sends his regards, and to keep being a good Duke. Maybe you should learn from him, this game is too much for you to handle little boy."

Seonghwa: "The only game that we are playing is the one where I get closer to your beloved queen, but yet you can't even go near her can you, you are too busy on the frontlines, let's remember who she brought in and who she left behind. Also, go tell him your damn self you have two legs and ten digits, you can walk or write to him yourself." With that, Seonghwa walked away with fire trailing behind him burning the floor around Changkyun but not on him and he put it out immediately turning back at him. "Little flames, have bigger secrets, than a dead family."
