despite liberating himself from the archon's gate facility, yuanbin would be lying if he said he didn't miss having everything he needed be provided for him if he so asked. but since he was out in the world again, he had to make a living somehow, one way or another, all while running for his life. thankfully, all that training he'd done back in the institute was actually good for something — because he was quite confident in his ability to protect people — or most people, at least. but as always, things can get unpredictable, which means yuanbin has to deal with the fact that not every one of his clients is going to be as amenable as the last. often times, he gets a normal job of having to someone from one place to another, and then one moment later he's being tasked to keep the world's clumsiest person alive from dying to a stove they don't know how to light. needless to say, yuanbin has quite the range of clientele — with some being more difficult to handle than the rest. but in times like this, he couldn't afford to be picky. besides, maybe he'll make some acquaintances along the way.

❈ description : it’s not like puppeteer hates you (well, he doesn’t exactly like you either) and wants you on death row, but you’ve been the toughest case to crack during his years as a hero, and somehow his employer has never thought of assigning someone else after you and instead sends puppeteer off to deal with you on a regular basis. your fights never end with a decisive victory on either end, though, and every trouble you cause is pretty much guaranteed overtime work for puppeteer as he has to at least clean up after your mess. he’s tired, you’re (probably, or not) tired, and the best part about his resignation is that he’d never have to see you ever again. at least, that’s what he thought—he runs into you again a few years later, either by chance or because you’ve been a menace while he’s gone and now someone else needs his help to fight you. it’s about time you settle the score, isn’t it?

❈ description : you’ve made a mark on dalbit—quite literally, as he still has that damn tattoo of your initials on his right pinky to this day. you first met him, either as himself or as his alter ego, puppeteer, when he first started out his work as a superhero. it was a typical love at the first sight case for him, and you both started seeing each other romantically soon after. dalbit, being your lovestruck boy on his first relationship, immediately got your initials tattooed on his finger. the relationship didn’t last long unfortunately, with him struggling to balance his life as puppeteer and his personal life as your lover, eventually you both realized that it’s best to end it. while he does regret getting the tattoo, it’s mostly because he did not think the decision through and is tired of explaining what it is to strangers. but there’s a reason he still keeps it to this day, and it’s certainly not because he can’t stand the pain of getting it removed.

NOTES ABOUT HOYEON:
- She's the younger of the two.
- She's the nicer of the two, but they get along just fine and Jiwon is the only one who doesn't shun/treat her differently in their family.
- She's always lived in Jiwon's shadow either because she's powerless or because her powers aren't as strong as Jiwon's/deviate from the family norm (techno-based powers).
- If she has powers that deviate from the family norm, I'm thinking they're more electricity or energy-based. Leaning toward energy-based (ergo-psionics) and they are weak, which is why the family doesn't necessarily want to deal with her and spend their time/energy on her. ㅤㅤ• Description﹕ Also leaving this somewhat open and vague for plotting reasons, but this muse and Sohee were recipients of the same alien parent’s bio sample. They were born around the same time as Sohee and not very fond of her, but that feeling was mutual. They were often pit against each other in experiments involving fighting and competing, which naturally brewed some dislike/jealousy between the two, but they’ve learned to tolerate one another over time. They still don’t mesh completely well so they often “forget to mention” that they’re related to others and pretend not to know each other more often than not.
