Paperworks, reports, and all sorts of nonsense mess had been circled Chorong's life. It's not like she hates her work or something, but just sitting inside the Garrison's headquarters was not pleasing her. She remembered her younger years as a subordinate to Commander Strauss. She admit that life was more better back then. But years after the Commander's death and she being the next in command, life became more complicated compared to the past. Of course, she was overwhelmed and thankful for the responsibility given by Strauss, himself. Knowing that the Commander trusted her ever since she became his elite subordinate.

But it was not what she had expected. Few months after the turn over, she was flooded by reports and all sorts of problems. It's also hard for her to make decisions. There are times that Chorong thought she is breaking Strauss's trust, and Ian Reid, her comrade and now one of her elite subordinate were the deserving soldier for Strauss's spot. But some of her elites had encouraged her not to think about it, giving the trust Strauss had given back then.

She stood up from her wooden chair, getting out of her prison-like office won't be that bad, isn't it? And quite sure, men and women of the Garrison would like to see their commander finally goes out of her little nest.
