Picking characters
There are two types of characters - hosts, and patrons.
Hosts are usually dom charracters and patrons are subs. Patrons are guests to be pampered, and hosts will get yelled at if they're not doing their job.
host character will have rating scores based on how active and popular they are. Hosts will have profiles posted in the library stating their orientation, rp type, personality type, and reviews from other.
If you are not very active, being a host is not for you. Patrons have no activity limit other than inactivity checks.
usually, hosts will be dominant characters or males. Patrons will be females or sub characters. This is not a hard set rule. Quotas for hosts we are hiring are posted on the front page. Check there to see if your character qualifies for an open position.
hosts are not workers - no host is required to sleep with, or date, any patron.
This rp is about the patrons' story, and the hosts' character. Therefore, patrons may come in with stories and problems, but hosts can not. Hosts must aspire to achieve the perfect personality to service our patrons.

Hosts must be a celebrity face claim. There is a quota of hosts - you can only apply to positions we are hiring for.
Because of the nature of the rp, a certain level of ooc drama is accepted. however, toxic behavior will be swiftly dealt with.

You can only have 1 host character until you prove to be high in demand and able to handle it. This is an admin decision.
This means every person can only have 2 characters max - 1 patron and 1 host, until admin decide they want you to play another host, or your host retires.

side characters will be introduced later as hosts retire and the story goes on. Your character can change status and occupation as you interact with this world.
Hosts' rules
Hosts *Must* be capable of posting simple starters with everyone to encourage engagement without prompt/plot.
The host selection process is more intense than that of patron applications. Host characters will be expected to uphold a level of activity and quality.
Hosts must be mature, socially responsible, charismatic, and interesting. Admins reserve the right to "fire" hosts who do not uphold these standards may be fired or demoted.
Hosts are employees of the host club. The Magic shop is your home.
Hosts must read the patron section to the right as well.

Hosts are expected to be online nearly every day. For each day inactive, 20 points will be deducted. No hiatus allowed for hosts. If you have a real emergency, you will be allowed leave of less than 10 days. PM rain.

Violations of the activity rules will be excused only if you post a notice of it. If no notice is posted, or if it seems you can no longer uphold attendance, you will be treated as an inavtive.
Hosts cannot drop mid-appointment unless you and the patron explicitly end the exchange.

Host characters cannot have side jobs. You may have a backstory of where he came from, but all hosts must already have been working here for years. That means, no introducing yourself as a new host.

First, the patron is introduced to the tea room.
This is where hosts and patrons mingle
make an appointment with your chosen host in the reception room.
appointments are like speed dating.
They are limited to approx. 100 lines of roleplay. After approx. 100 lines, your "time is up". You can either end the roleplay even if you didn't finish, or you can book the same host again to continue. This is so roleplays don't get dragged on if you lose interest, wasting everyone's time.
Make appointments one at a time. Patrons can only make 1 appointment a day. Your roleplay with a host may go on for longer, but for the day of your appointment, you cannot book any other appointment.
Hosts may reject appointments if they are too busy

Relationships
Bookings Give both patron and host 100 points. completing an appointment will award both parties 100 extra points. Extending a booking awards 100 points per extension.
Dating is allowed. However, All relationships with hosts must be OPEN relationships. Hosts cannot partake in exclusive relationship until retirement is bought with points

A host can contribute points to his own retirement. After retirement of your host character, you may add a new host character
Marriage is allowed. couple will move into the magic shop estate.
Pregnancy is allowed. Mpreg is allowed. We are magic, after all. If a patron gets knocked up by a host, you still cannot be exclusive until you have enough points to buy the host's retirement.
