⤷ the bailey

it was no surprise that julie was found loitering around the bailey when she genuinely had no reason to be there. her work never ends, unlike the guards standing at attention - albeit their work definitely being much harder than just being a mere servant girl. her work is ongoing, day in and day out. she's in charge of kim hoseok's chambers, one of the princes of pyrolith who's actually kind and sweet to others and even herself, even those lower of status. thankfully, working in the man's chambers allowed julie some sense of escape. she was able to reunite with old friends. she was able to make some new ones over the years, things have been going a little smoother - with hiccups here and there.

when is it ever smooth sailing - working with royals, right? never. her body is winded over the edge and she's beyond tired. the young woman has the residence soot lining her cheeks as she gives an absentminded rub of the back of her hand - causing the mess to smear further which she's sure looks quite horrendous. her eyes flutter shut as she takes in the little heat from the everlasting sunlight. the fiery embers igniting within her lithe frame as her neck twists to and fro so she can snag out whatever kinks and knots are present. her shoulders roll back slowly as she tries to scan the area, hoping to find that one guard she noticed earlier.

now julie isn't a gossiper per-se unless you count the fact that she talks in and out with the few friends she managed to make. conversations are 'discussed' and little whispers of the happenings around the pyrolith kingdom would be discussed now and again. the talk of the day? was the new royal guard who decided to work at the palace. the story behind the man was unknown but julie was more so curious about what he looked like and if he was a good person or not. would he be like other guards whom she could actually banter with and make small talk with. or would he be too stuck up and possibly mean like the royal bloods?

she got a glimpse of the young man as she was tending to duties, so she had a fair idea what he looked like - plus she knows all the guards around the palace, so finding the odd one out, or the newbie as she likes to think of him - won't be too hard. scanning the area, julie makes her way around the bailey where all the workers are unwinding for their evening and spotting the male that she saw just a moments earlier during lunchtime, she skipped on over with a small grin playing on her lips.

'oh , he's tall!' her thought plummeted as her hand inches over to give his sleeve a little tug and the young woman has a tender smile playing on her lips - in hopes of at least coming off friendly to the other man. "hello, excuse me, are you... jungkook-ssi was it?" she queries, while waiting for the man to turn his attention to her, not sure if she's going to be disturbing his peace of mind and ambiance or worse yet - take him away from anyone he might be wishing to spend his break and evening with instead.
