@‡ Yutaro "They will be. I'm sure of it," he beamed and then felt his cheeks and ears go extra warm, "If anyone does like me like that, I hope that I can keep them happy." Chanyeol found it easy to cling and be clung to and it seemed he was only getting that much more comfortable with doing it with Yutaro the more time they spent around each other. It helped a lot since Yutaro seemed to enjoy it, too. Chanyeol wasn't always the best at reading how people took to his skinship or even just some of the things he would say sometimes that were completely innocent but just poorly times but he was getting better at it, or at least he was trying.

He got embarrassed all over again by the fact that Yutaro had actually seen him almost falling over himself. "I was trying to be careful," he smiled shyly and then tried to help with getting the food sorted. He let Yutaro mostly do it though. Not wanting to mess up the other's organized system, he just tried to help by handing him things that seemed to fit the order he was going in.

He smiled back at his friend, hugging Yutaro's arm, "You've got me, too! I'm not too much of a fighter but I'll protect you, okay?" Chanyeol never really processed who he liked anymore or who he even thought he might like as more than a friend. He always ended up hurt, even without confessing so he would keep things to himself. Once everything was done with the checkout, he helped put it back into the cart for them to take out to the car. He was a master at packing things into a car, whether it be in the seat or in the trunk, so it was easy for him to get the groceries into the car, even if it wasn't a lot.

@† Chanyeol "I don't think they will be that lucky but I know for a fact that if it's you, they will be lucky. You're a keeper, Channie." Yutaro smiled softly and didn't mind Channie clinging onto him because in all honesty, he was just like him. He's clingy too, always wanted attention, and just has a lot of affection to give but isn't given a chance or doesn't have anyone to just be himself and now that he has found Chanyeol, he will make sure that the younger male will never feel as if they have to be a whole different person just to please others.

As Channie left to grab what he wants, he chuckled as he almost stumbled and hits his arm gently. "Be careful, I can hear you running and you almost stumbled too." Yutaro teased and looked at the snack that he brought over. "I don't care what flavor that is, if it's food, I'm eating it." He grinned and once they are in the register, he starts to arrange the groceries by category so that they are in one box per category of items and turns to you.

"Also, Channie, now that you have me, I'll won't mind fighting for you. Just promise to tell me who is it that you'll like and I'll have to know them first, give them an interview then I'll tell you if they pass or not." Yutaro smiled but despite that smile on his lips, Yutaro felt that bit of a sting in his heart because he would like to be that person but then again, it's up to Chanyeol whom he's going to like and Yutaro will be there to support him no matter what happens.

@‡ Yutaro "They'll be really lucky to have you," he piped up, expression just as bright as his tone. In his eyes, Yutaro's an amazing person. His coworkers treated him nicely and took care of him and so did those that knew him in the neighborhood they watched over. For some reason though, it didn't feel like Chanyeol had many people outside of work or outside of the neighborhood that showed similar kindness to him. The older couple that ran the convenience store near his apartment took to him kindly but he was sure how long he's known them and how many conversations they'd had over the years helped a lot. He was used to being "that annoying kid," even at his current age. He had a tendency to misunderstand things or not catch on as quickly and, even more than that, he was pretty clumsy, resulting in him breaking things, mainly himself though. To have someone like Yutaro who has been nothing but kind to him since they first started talking made him want to cling that much more to him. Thankfully, it didn't seem like Yutaro would mind him sticking around.

"I wouldn't want you fighting, even then. It felt like a lot of people but maybe it wasn't," he paused but then shook his head a few times, "I wouldn't want you getting hurt at all. Even if you just scuffed your knee or something." The soft giant pouted at the thought alone, especially if Yutaro would have been fighting because of him and then got hurt. "Thank you," Chanyeol uttered, his smile only widening. Yutaro really could make him smile and keep him smiling, and he didn't mind even a little.

Chanyeol didn't want to walk away but he nodded once, thinking of a couple of things that they hadn't picked up already. It was just a bag of chips in a flavor he really liked and the same with the cookies he picked up. Fortunately, it wasn't something that he could drop and break. Well, somewhat. The cookies did fall on his way back to the Yutaro and the cart and he was sure that some of them probably cracked but figured they'd be fine. They'd still taste good. "This is all," he smiled brightly, "I don't know if you like these flavors though..." He frowned then, kind of wanting to run back again to see if he could find something that he could share with Yutaro that the other would enjoy.

@† Chanyeol "Really? Are they going to be lucky?" Yutaro chuckled softly and just enjoyed Chanyeol holding onto him since he's quite the affectionate type himself and any chance at skin ship is something that he won't let pass. Gently pulling Channie's arms tighter around his frame, Yutaro just lets their conversation go on as the trolley starts to fill up to the brim, thinking that he should also get stuff for his apartment since it's been running low on stocks.

Doing just that, as Yutaro listened to Chanyeol and pouts softly upon hearing his words. "See? You're being too kind again. That's why you needed someone like me back then and now that I'm here, I'll protect you from people who would just want to play with you, I will never let that happen." Yutaro muttered softly and upon hearing Channie labeling him as a friend, it kind of stung since he knows he's crushing on the police officer but he can't really say anything, at least not for now.

Making their way towards the register, he looked up at Chanyeol and looked around. "We have everything in our cart now. Any last minute items, Channie? You can still grab them since the line is a bit long." Yutaro smiled and lets go of Channie's arm. "Go, Channie. I'll wait here if you still want to add something or more things to our purchase."

@‡ Yutaro He was feeling quite giddy with the other letting him hold onto him while they walked. Chanyeol has always had a habit of being clingy to those he likes and cares for. He's just an affectionate type that doesn't get to show it often, so this makes him quite happy. "That's really sweet of you. I hope whoever your forever person is that they treat you like that, too," he nods once before he's resting his chin on top of Yutaro's head.

He was a little startled by being pulled back but he wasn't complaining at all. His hold was a little tighter on the other this time, that giddy feeling rising in his chest again. Chanyeol's doe eyes widen in shock but he ends up smiling widely, giving Yutaro a squeeze. "I wouldn't have wanted you to fight all those people. I don't know if you'd ever get a break," he planted a kiss to the top of his friend's head, "But it would have been nice if you were there. I'm sure I would have felt a lot better having a friend like you then."

@† Chanyeol As they made their way inside the grocery store and letting Chanyeol just hug his smaller frame from behind, Yutaro kept walking as he pushed the cart in front of them, starting to fill the cart with what they would need for their intended dessert to bake later today. "Yes. If I feel that I can be with that person forever, I'll go ahead and settled with them, dedicate my time to them and just make sure that we're both happy in the relationship that we're in.

As Chanyeol pulled away, Yutaro held him back. "Just stay here. We're not in any hurry anyway." Yutaro muttered softly and held onto Channie's arm as they walk along the aisle of baking goods and stuff, taking what they'll need for the recipe and other stuff to stock up his pantry. Going back to their conversation, Yutaro bit his lip and nodded.

"I'm sure as hell that it doesn't and had I only been in your life back then, I would've beaten the out of that person who had hurt you, Channie. I swear. . ." Yutaro uttered with a bit of anger in his voice because if there's something that he hates the most in the world, it's fickle minded people, especially those who takes things such as emotions lightly because for him, how and what someone feels is important and should be put first in any situation.

@‡ Yutaro It takes a second but Chanyeol understands what Yutaro meant. It wouldn’t hurt to just go ahead and get all that they needed from the store. His mood has shifted a little thanks to the not-so-pleasant memories but, thankfully, not all that much as he’s able to remind himself that was all in the past. He’d be fine with never being told if someone was interested in him if he meant that he didn’t have to chance being the of the joke yet again. He just couldn’t tell anymore.

“It wasn’t nice but it’s okay. That hasn’t happened in a long time,” he smiles again, quite widely. Reminding himself again that it’s all in the past helps him feel better. He plays with Yutaro’s hand again, smiling to himself as he hears his friend’s answer. “Does that mean you want to settle down at some point? If you really feel like they’re your forever person?”

He doesn’t want to let go of the other’s hand but he does to get out of the car. Chanyeol thanks him for opening the door and is immediately latching onto him, hugging him from behind as Yutaro pushes the cart. The tall officer does his best not to trip, or make the smaller male trip either. “Hm? You’re right. It doesn’t feel nice at all,” he answers back quietly, nuzzling the back of Yutaro’s head. He’s still reluctant to let go but does help to get what’s needed.

@† Chanyeol Smiling still as him and Chanyeol kept talking about what they'll do to be able to do what they want once they get to his apartment, Yutaro kept driving as he listened to the latter. "I mean, that's fine. I'll just keep what I have as my stock or whatnot because I'm sure that we might repeat something along the way and will need extras of some of the ingredients anyway." He chuckled softly and as they kept having the conversation, when it steered towards the idea of having to confess to another person that they like, Yutaro pursed his lips as Chanyeol responded.

"They joked about it? That's not good. I mean, if anything, people shouldn't play with someone's feelings that way. That's really cruel, at least for me it is." He pouted a bit and when asked the same question, he can't help but think about it then smiled. "I'll be happy. I'm a man of simple pleasures in life. I mean, just someone paying attention to me is something that I enjoy so I'd probably invest my time towards that person who confessed, but not so much that I'll leave nothing for myself, I mean, I will only go all out if I'm sure that I can be with that person because at my age, I really shouldn't play around anymore."

Yutaro smiled and pulled up in front of a grocery store and stepped out of the car, opening the door for Chanyeol and wrapping an arm around his since it's pretty cold and he didn't have anything warm on him aside from the shirt and pants he's wearing from when they left the club. Guiding both of them inside the store, Yutaro then grabbed a small cart and pushed it forth. "I just think that feelings shouldn't be played. That's just mean to do that to another person." Yutaro smiled up at Chanyeol and kept walking around the store, putting in the ingredients that they'll need for today and other stuff too that he's been craving for or needs in his apartment as well.

@‡ Yutaro Chanyeol feels relieved that his suggestion will actually help them but ends up focusing on the way Yutaro curls into him. The young cop hasn't stopped smiling yet and this motion from the smaller male only causes him to smile even more. There isn't much going on in his head at the moment aside from just how happy he feels to be sitting like this with someone and for them to actually want his company.

`He smiles at his friend's words and then tilts his head a little, his brows furrowed. He's pretty sure he missed something but he doesn't ask, figuring that he probably was just hearing things. Getting up with Yutaro, he finally stretches with a happy hum and proceeds to follow him to his car. "I wouldn't mind either way. I could help clean," he replies with a bright smile and matching chuckle. He says his thanks for the opened door as he slides into the passenger seat and buckles in.

"Okay! Mm... I don't know what you have though. I don't want to ask for something you already have at home," he utters, more so thinking aloud. Chanyeol tightens his hold on Yutaro's hand, occasionally wiggling his fingers just to play with the other's hand. The question distracts him a little and confusion settles into his features before his smile is fading for the first time in a long while now, "I don't know... I always think it's a joke so I don't pay attention to it much. It's been a joke lots of times so I just smile now..." He tries to shake off whatever that feeling is that comes over him with the memories, able to smile soon after, "What about you, little bear? Would you be happy if someone confessed like that to you?"

@† Chanyeol Listening to Chanyeol share more glimpse about his life and the people in it, Yutaro smiled softly and nodded at his suggestion to have everything pre-measured. "Actually, that's smart. We can measure the ingredients first instead of going at it while we prep the batter or the ingredients. Let's do that." He uttered softly and snuggled further in Chanyeol's arms, shifting a bit to face him and nuzzle into him. This man is such a sweetheart and a kind man and he just knows that whoever will be Chanyeol's partner will be so lucky.

Hearing Chanyeol thank him, Yutaro smiled then grinned as he heard his words. "You don't have to thank me, really. I'm just being honest. Also, I'm glad that we are friends. . . or it could be past friendship." He muttered softly, hoping to keep that to himself as he whispered it under his breath. With Chanyeol now peppering kisses all over his face, Yutaro then got up from his lap and stepped down the bed. "Let's go then. Good thing my place is clean." He chuckled and guided both of them out of the room and towards the parking lot of the mansion and to his car, opening the door for Chanyeol and hopping in, Yutaro then starts to drive towards his place.

"Just let me know if you want anything, okay? We can buy it along the way." Yutaro smiled and held Chanyeol's hand in his, finding comfort in knowing that someone finally wants to spend time with him and it's this kind man with such a fluffy personality, if that's even a thing. Kissing the back of his hand, Yutaro then lets out a deep breath as he kept driving. "Channie, I have a question. How would you feel if someone confessed to you that they've had a crush on you for quite some time?" He asked, wanting to hear Chanyeol's perspective on this topic as they made their way to his apartment.

@‡ Yutaro With Yutaro guiding him to hold him tighter, Chanyeol rests his cheek on his friend's temple again and closes his eyes as he listens to him. He manages a nod without moving much again. "I try to follow recipes... Maybe I should do it how my sister does it. She pre-measures everything for her recipes so she can put it all in when she needs to. I make a huge mess and a lot of mistakes trying to measure and mix everything as I go," he can laugh it off because it's something he's used to. They're just facts to him. He's watched his sister cook and, in his opinion, she's like their mother in that aspect when it comes to it all being neat, organized and ready to go. He's pretty sure he's heard their parents and his sister quietly refer to him in the kitchen alone as chaos and he doesn't disagree. There's a reason he gets discombobulated when he's left to his own devices to cook. "Watch a video? We'll do that then. It'll probably also be easier since we're working together," Chanyeol's smile had yet to leave his lips.

His eyes open with the kiss and he turns that much redder. He instinctively puffs out his cheeks as they're played with, another warm smile curling up the corners of his lips. Yutaro's words stun him and admittedly almost make him cry. He really isn't used to so many compliments, let alone all at once. He unintentionally lets out a sort of whining noise, curling in on himself to bury his face in the smaller's neck. Chanyeol isn't sure what to say in response, feeling like "thank you" really just isn't enough at all. "I'm really glad you want to be my friend. You're such a nice person, Yutaro," the words are followed by another happy whine and that much more clinging.

He gives Yutaro multiple kisses all over his face after the initial one that Yutaro gives him, unable to help himself, not that he wants to. The young officer nods firmly, swaying some again. "We can go to your place. We can hang out for a little before we start making everything," he smiles brightly as their eyes meet, genuinely just excited to be spending more time with the other in any way.

@† Chanyeol Listening to Chanyeol regarding his cooking expertise, Yutaro smiled and let him tell more about it as he enjoys listening to the latter and would do so any time of the day. Once he's done, Yutaro nodded to Chanyeol's question and gently pulled his arms closer around him. "Well, yes. But I'm not an expert. I guess I just follow instructions really well." The smaller male chuckled and kept going. "Also, as long as you're able to cook and you have the basic knowledge, you can just keep following recipes, that's how I've been surviving these past few years and there are a lot of those online. Though I'm more of a visual learner and it feels like I have a companion when I watch the video as I cook. I think we can do that while we prepare the food for our picnic."

Yutaro expressed and sunk further in Chanyeol's arms and as the the latter seemed so shy about his compliments, he chuckled softly and placed a soft kiss on Chanyeol's cheek. "My big bear gets so shy. No need to be shy, Channie. You deserve all the praises and compliments." Yutaro muttered softly and snuggled in his arms and ended up squishing Chanyeol's cheeks as gently as he could, letting out a soft giggle with how cute he looked with his lips puckered up like this. "Also, own it. You're sweet, handsome, kind, and best of all, great to be around with. You're more than just what people tell you that you are, Channie. Always remember that."

And with that, Yutaro placed a soft kiss on his lips and gently nibbled on his lower lip before pulling away and leaning against the latter once again, taking his hand in his and just playing and fiddling with his fingers. "Should we head out to my place and maybe prepare for the picnic? Or hangout or something?" He asked, curious gaze on Chanyeol's face as he wants the latter to decide what they'll do now since during the course of their conversation, it's clear that they both have the same interests and Yutaro wants to be able to take their time together to do all of the things that they said they'll do since it's impossible to do all of it in just one day, and for him, it'll be a way as well to further know more about the latter.

@‡ Yutaro "I've never tried cooking on my own unless sandwiches and ramen count. I'm really good at both! I've been told I can't be trusted with a knife in the kitchen though unless it's a butter knife. I always cut myself somehow," Chanyeol's a bit embarrassed to admit it but it's key information as far as he knows. Besides, it's not something that's stopped him before. He can still cut hearts and stars into his sandwiches with a butter knife and his niece and nephew haven't complained yet. "You can bake? I used to help my mom bake. I'm really good at measuring and mixing," he can't help snuggling Yutaro more. Chanyeol's used to being the larger person in many scenarios and he's usually reminded of it because he gets in the way somehow. Being able to hold his friend like this feels more comforting because his size seems more of a good thing rather than a hindrance for the other.

The police officer unconsciously makes a sound in response, one that sounds like a muffled whine, as he tries to hide his face and muffle it more. No one else was probably aware of it and it wasn't something Chanyeol mentioned often but he was much more used to being scolded rather than praised, meaning compliments were kind of rare to come by. Even with him now in his 30s, it was hard to accept compliments when he was still getting scolded just as much as when he was a kid. "Little bear is too nice," he speaks up in a hushed voice, not exactly whispering and not that whispering was easy either with the natural tone of his voice. Chanyeol found himself in a lot of situations of having crushes on people. He always felt stupid for it though since he just kind of latched onto those that treated him nicely. It felt rare that someone would have a crush on him but, having come to the club, it seemed that was changing, given not by much. On top of that, hearing it from someone he's really growing attached to just made him feel shier. It'd be just as easy for him to develop a crush on Yutaro, especially with how easily they got along and could just talk to each other. It also seemed that Chanyeol didn't annoy him which he was beyond thankful for.

@† Chanyeol Seeing how his eyes sparkled with excitement, Yutaro can't help but feel the same as well. It's hard for him to be friends with others but it seems so easy with Chanyeol. They have the same interests, they pay attention to what the other likes, and he feels as if Chanyeol really understands him, which is something that made him want to know more about the latter.

As they shifted back to the conversation of their picnic, Yutaro smiled softly and smooched Chanyeol's cheek with a soft kiss. "Of course, you can. And besides, I'm not that experienced too. I'm just a home cook but we can have fun preparing the picnic together. I'm looking forward to making baked goods for us too, that's something that I'm not really good at but I can make decent baked goods, maybe we can make something better if we do it together." Yutaro smiled softly and snuggled further in Chanyeol's arms.

And as they continued, as Yutaro noticed that tint of blush on his face that's now spreading up to his ears and down his neck, Yutaro lets out a soft giggle and squished his cheeks. "Stop being so cute or I might really just fall and have a crush on you. . ." Yutaro smiled softly. Were those words out of the blue? Yes. But are they untrue? No. Chanyeol's attractive and a really fun person to be with, not to mention, gentle and kind, with that being said, no sane person wouldn't fall for this man, let alone, have a crush on him, and Yutaro finds himself falling deeper for this taller man's charms.

@‡ Yutaro "That means we can have picnics in really pretty places together," Chanyeol's tone alone shows how excited he is at just the thought, his eyes sparkling as well. It felt nice to have a friend that, well, felt like a friend. Someone that he could get the chance to just hang out with and enjoy their time together. He's always been a simple person, excited about the smallest of things in his life. Considering a lot of the bullying he got for one reason or another and the time he spent in the hospital for hurting this or that or because of some bully, he had no choice but to try and find peace and fun in the small things. It helped keep his spirits up.

"Okay! I want to do that," Chanyeol smiles widely, still wearing his excitement on his sleeve, "Can we pack our picnic together?" He didn't have much experience in the kitchen and didn't consider himself that good at it but he loved to help out. His chest feels that much warmer as Yutaro seems happy to be his friend. He couldn't say that he had many and he was okay with that. He didn't hang out with his coworkers often but sometimes they invited him out and he was happy with that, too. Yutaro was the first person in a long time though that he'd gotten the chance to plan things out just to hang out together.

He tilts his head when he hears the compliments, cheeks and ears turning a deep red as he shakes his head. "I don't know about all of that but thank you, little bear! You're really much too nice to me," he keeps his gaze down for a moment, just trying to get himself to calm down since his face and neck felt so warm now. He snuggles his friend some more and just stays silent, happily holding him.

@† Chanyeol Loving that smile on Chanyeol's face, Yutaro gave him another forehead kiss for good measure and as the latter offered to bring him to the places where he and his family went, Yutaro felt this sense of warmth course through him and soon enough, a soft smile trails his lips. "That'll be great, Channie. I'll be more than glad to come with you to those places. Just let me know when and I'll bring some food for us too." Yutaro muttered softly as he snuggled closer to the other male, and no matter what happens, if the trip pushes through, Yutaro will never miss it for anything else.

Seeing all of this unfold, Yutaro chuckled at how excited Chanyeol is, and he shared the same interests when it comes to places to go to, and he couldn't be more thankful that he finally found someone that he's actually in tune with. Caressing his cheek, Yutaro kept listening to him and chuckled as he apologized. "Silly, no need to apologize. It's okay. Since we have so many plans, we should take it one at a time. So, for today, maybe we can do the afternoon picnic, then go to an arcade later tonight. How's that? And maybe a bit of a night drive instead of an afternoon drive. What do you think, big bear?"

Yutaro offered and was about to nudge Chanyeol for a response when he felt his body being held tighter in the latter's arms and he didn't protest, if anything, he's growing fonder of these small gestures from Chanyeol, especially the kisses and hugs. From the start he knew that Chanyeol caught his attention, and he does have a bit of a crush on him, but he won't tell him that, of course. "It's an honor to be your friend, Chanyeol.

To be honest, it'll be amazing to have you not just as a friend but just being a presence in someone's life. You're kind, affectionate, adorable, and amazing, so don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise, okay?" Yutaro smiled and pecked his lip then his forehead again as he brushed his fingers through the taller male's locks, just looking at him and taking in his features in his mind as he kept snuggling in his arms.

@‡ Yutaro Chanyeol's always been weak for forehead kisses and he's sure it's showing more and more to Yutaro. His friend's words bring about a smile to his face, pushing away the concerns he'd just held. He nods firmly and smiles widely, "You're right. We've always had a lot of fun there. I wonder if we can visit it soon. Would you want to go there with me one day? It's been some time but I bet it's still really beautiful. It'd be great to take picture of, too!" He can feel the excitement at just the thought of being able to take a friend there with him, especially since he's never gotten the chance to do so.

"Sharing is caring! That's what I remember... I think that's how it went. You can become closer when you share things," he beams, "Right! And video games are really hard. As long as you have fun, that's all that matters. You think like me! That means we can have a lot of fun playing games together." Chanyeol's clearly happy with the thought, happy being something of a mild term really.

"Oh! I'm sorry," he looks at Yutaro worried but smiles at his suggestion, "That sounds really nice. Picnics are fun!" He quiets himself down as he feels the other get more comfortable. He cradles the smaller male and holds him tighter for a moment. He bites at his lip, speaking softly, "Little bear... Yutaro, thank you for being my friend. For wanting to be my friend."

@† Chanyeol Listening attentively to Chanyeol since he did want to know more about the latter, he finds himself smiling softly as he listened and the moment Chanyeol buried his face into Yutaro's hair, he shifted his small frame to face the former a bit more and wrapped his arms around his nape, pulling him close and nuzzling his nose into Chanyeol's hair and proceeding to kiss his forehead.

"There's nothing wrong with that, Channie. If anything, it's really sweet of them to take you to places that they know will cheer you up, and besides, as long as you and your family had fun and memories that you now cherish together, that's all that matters." Yutaro uttered softly into his hair and cupped Chanyeol's cheeks and pecked his lips, gently pushing aside some stray strands of his hair away from his face.

"And thank you for sharing these with me. I feel honored and happy that you're comfortable sharing them with me." Yutaro smiled and kissed him again and pursed his lips softly as he thought about playing games and with Chanyeol's admission that he's not good at it either, the smaller male smiled. "That's fine. No one's perfect and we can't always be good at everything at first but giving something a try won't hurt either. If we end up trying a game or something, let's just enjoy it, win or lose."

Feeling his plush lips on his forehead, Yutaro can't help but blush a bit, feeling shy all of a sudden but giddy with the small gestures that Chanyeol does and thought of his idea on how they can spend more time together. "I'd love that, but I don't think I have the energy yet to go to the karaoke. What about a drive this afternoon before sunset? Just by the park and maybe eat some stuff, like a small picnic. Chicken and beer would be the perfect pair, or we can go to that hill that I go to. It's quiet there and a bit up in the mountains, we can see the view of the whole city. What do you think?" Yutaro asked as he snuggled up further in his arms, pulling his arms from his nape and taking his arm into his own pair as he leaned into him, curling up a bit and closing his eyes for a moment as he basks in the latter's warmth.

@‡ Yutaro Chanyeol hums in agreement, content that Yutaro seems comfortable in his arms and lap. When he began speaking of staring at the sky, he was reminded of his childhood. "When I was a kid, to cheer me up, sometimes my family would go hiking together. There was this really pretty field we would go up to and we would have a picnic and play games and I remember falling asleep a lot in the grass. My mom would fuss at me for getting grass and bugs in my hair but she never seemed angry about it." He pauses and smiles to himself. Feeling a bit shy, he hides his face in Yutaro's hair, lowering his voice. "Sometimes they still tell me how they always tried to take me there when I was sad... I feel bad thinking about it because it seems like we went there a lot but they always tell me they loved going there so that makes me feel a little better."

"I'm not that good with games either. I don't understand a lot about the... the stats and gear and things like that. I just try to have fun and beat the bad guys," he laughs as well and then nods, "I don't think it's too hard but maybe you'd like it. I think it's more fun to play together but I don't usually have anyone to play with. I bet you would be fun to play with!" He blushes a little at the peck but then presses one to his forehead. He feels giddy, squishing Yutaro a little tighter in his arms, a more gentle type of bear hug really.

He lets out a quiet sound, akin to a hum, as he tries to think of something to suggest. "What's around here," he thinks aloud, "If we can do anything..." Chanyeol pouts and scratches at his hair a little, "There's karaoke around here. Do you want to do that maybe?"

@† Meto *when you push me, i scoot back onto the bed, settling among the pillows, reaching out to help you pull up the blankets. i notice you're still crying as you snuggle into my chest, and i drape an arm over you, my hand slowly rubbing your back, wishing i could wipe your eyes, my own shutting as i drift off to sleep*

@† Meto *i follow you into the room which wouldn't have been my first choice for a good night's sleep, but i'm exhausted, and i know i'll be able to sleep anywhere to be honest. sitting on the edge of the bed, i'm surprised when i notice that you're crying. i don't question you, i simply pull you onto my lap and hug you, whispering* i'm here, and i'm not going anywhere, meto.

@† Seokwoo /walks into the first room I see and pulls you onto the bed with me/
I'm so tired... /so tired I can feel myself getting emotional for whatever reason/
/starts to cry, silently, because I'm tired, and because the last two weeks have been such a mess, and even though I feel bad for crying on you and probably confusing you when we both just want to sleep... I'm glad you're here and I'm not sleeping alone tonight/

@† Chanyeol As they continue to share this moment, Yutaro appreciates how Chanyeol seem to share more about himself even if it's just the stuff that most people would find basic, for him, if anyone is sharing something about them, it's special and he really takes time to listen to the latter saying more about himself. Nodding to the latter's words, Yutaro smiled softly and lets the latter male pull him onto his lap, immediately making Yutaro snuggle up to the taller male.

"It's hard to get that perfect photo but when you do, it's really rewarding and just looking at photos of the clouds and the sun, it's really relaxing. I can just sit for hours on end and just stare at the sky until it completely becomes dark, and even then, if I am in an open area, let's say the beach or atop a hill where I can see the city lights, I just stay there and just appreciate what's in front of me." He uttered softly and curled up on Chanyeol's lap, all ears on what the latter is saying as they continued their conversation.

"Hmm. . . I don't play that many games but when I do, it's usually just to relieve stress and half the time, I only learn the basic stuff, like how to attack and such but don't ask me about the specifics like what can a character do or anything like that, I wouldn't know." He chuckled softly and perked up as Chanyeol spoke about this game that he played. "Maybe we should play Onigiri next time. I'd love to learn a new game to pass time as well when I'm not doing anything." Yutaro chuckled and as Chanyeol thanked him, Yutaro can't help but lean in and give him a small peck on his lips. "You're welcome, Channie. It's been a pleasure being able to spend time and share a meal too." Yutaro responded and pursed his lips upon hearing the latter's next question.

"Nope. I don't have anything in my schedule today so we can pretty much continue hanging out. I mean, we can go around the club, go outside, and walk at a park, or even go to my place. Your pick. I'll drive us around if needed." He smiled and snuggled up further into Chanyeol's arms, finding him warmth really comforting and something that he's getting used too, he just hopes that Chanyeol doesn't mind him doing this often especially if he sees him in the common room next time.

@‡ Yutaro Chanyeol's cheeks warm and his smile widens, playfully puffing up his cheek. He sets aside his plate and stretches his legs out, making sure not to kick his friend. As he thinks about the sunset, he sighs softly, "It is really pretty. It's not easy to get a good picture of it though sometimes, which is frustrating." He scrunches his nose up just thinking about it but a smile is on his lips within the next few seconds, "But when you can get a pretty picture, it feels nice. Sunrises and sunsets make really nice pictures."

He stretches a little before leaning back on his hands, "Games... I'm not the best at them but they're fun. I can teach you if you want. I used to play Onigiri a lot. It's got pretty colors and really cool weapons! I play games on my phone a lot, too. Do you play games on your phone?" Chanyeol reaches for his friend and pulls him into his lap, happy to hold him again. "Thank you again for breakfast, Yutaro. It was yummy," he smiles brightly and squishes his friend against him, nuzzling his shoulder, "You said we could hang out later. You don't have work or anything?"

@† Chanyeol Seeing how happy Chanyeol is and how he's smiling and blushing right now made Yutaro chuckle softly and reach out to him to gently pinch his cheek. Finishing up everything on his plate, he then continued to listen to the latter as he now tells him about his hobbies or other stuff that he does during his free time. Perking up at the mention of taking photos, Yutaro beamed at Chanyeol.

"Taking photos is something that I do too but I like taking photos of the skies. Especially when it's sunset and the skies change color. It's really relaxing." Yutaro smiled softly and once again reached for Chanyeol and wiped his lips gently as he continued. "You said you play games, right? What games do you play? Maybe you can teach me how to play the games that you enjoy." He said softly, quite excited that he met someone that he actually shares some interests and someone that he's comfortable since it's been so long since he moved to Korea and he just finds it hard to make friends since he's usually quiet but with Chanyeol, everything is just natural and he's happy that they met because, at this point, he knows that Chanyeol is a friend for keeps.

@‡ Yutaro Yutaro's words make Chanyeol's face turn a light shade of pink. Hearing comments and compliments like that warm his heart and make his chest feel full in such a nice way. His shy smile just spreads widely on his face as he starts eating again, mumbling how happy he is to hear that. Chanyeol stretches some again, listening to Yutaro's answer and trying to see if they have anything in common.

"I'm simple, too. I like movies! Sometimes, I play games. Taking pictures is fun, too, and I like to work out," he replies, a giddy smile on his lips, swaying side to side some in his upbeat mood. Chanyeol almost finishes off his ham and eggs but decides to save the last bites of that for last as he eats the last of his french toast. "Thank you," Chanyeol beams, looking forward to whenever they may end up cooking together. It's been a while since he's felt like he's had friends and he's really glad that he can call and consider Yutaro one.

@† Chanyeol Hearing how Chanyeol wants to spend time with him and how he's comfortable made Yutaro smile softly. "Aww. That's really sweet, Channie. You're the best big bear ever. The most comfortable and fun to be with as well." Taking more of the french toast, Yutaro continued to listen to you and pursed my lips as I munch.

"Hmmm. . . I'm pretty simple. I like reading books, watching movies, doing random hobbies, going on long drives, unplanned walks, and eating, of course." Yutaro chuckled softly and continued the conversation as he looked up from this plate and then at Chanyeol. "What about you, big bear? What is the stuff that you like doing during your free time?" He asked and continued as the latter mentioned earlier what he's doing when cooking his french toast.

"I'll show you next time how to cook it properly, Channie. I promise." Yutaro chuckled and reached forth towards him and wiped his lips, removing the crumbs and butte from his lips and pulled his hand back to continue eating, almost finishing his toast and now doing the same with the ham and egg on his plate.

@‡ Yutaro "Then, we can have fun again today together," Chanyeol asks, his bright eyes sparkling that much more despite him being sleepy still. "Little bear is fun to be around, too. I'm comfortable with you, too," he replies, being honest as usual. Not too many people were the nicest when it came to him and, even if they were nice, it felt like it was even harder to get people to actually spend time with him. More than that, enjoy it. "What things do you like to do," he adjusts the way he's sitting so that his legs don't cramp up.

The taller tilted his head at Yutaro's suggestion. "O-Oh? If you want," he smiles and continues nibbling away at his breakfast. "I always burn something when I do it. I don't know how or what I'm burning. Sometimes, the butter burns before I even put the bread in and there's a lot of smoke... Sometimes, it's the bread. I've tried following recipes, too. I stopped cooking since I always burn something," he frowns a bit but his smile easily returns, "Maybe I can do it if we cook together!"
