Hello lovelies, and welcome to our first Announcement!!

Before we get into the juicy details about our first Event, we would just like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for making Lovely…. lovely! It makes us extremely happy and grateful to see that people are enjoying Lovely for what it is. You guys make it feel more like a family than a RP, and what's better than that?! It's more than we ever could have asked for. That being said, we would like to make sure that Lovely stays as active as possible, in order to keep our beautiful little family alive.

This brings about our exciting announcement: An Activity Check Event. The Event will serve as a way for others to learn more about each other, while also having fun and clearing the inactivity away. We are extremely excited to say that the first Activity Check Event is: A MASQUERADE BALL.

What is it?: This will be a Matchmaking Masquerade Ball, with a little bit of a twist. Everyone will have a beautiful mask, a codename, and a mystery match whose identity is to be found.

How Long is the Ball?: The Masquerade will last three days, ending on the fourth with the announcement of the winners and revealing of each attendee.

When Will it Take Place?: March 1st through March 3rd.

How Does it Work?: Each attendee will have an ornate mask as their icon, hand picked by the Masquerade staff. Their name will also be disguised with a secret codename, that nobody knows the meaning of. On the opening day of the ball, each attendee will receive a hint from the Heads of the Masquerade, this hint will be information in the form of a clue about their matched partner. On the third day of the Ball, the attendees will receive another personalized letter with extremely clear information about their partner. The goal of the attendees is to correctly guess who hides behind the mask of their match.

Are There Any Rules?: Please try to refrain from exposing other attendees if you know who they are. It ruins the fun for others and that is not what we are aiming for. It would also be good for you all to avoid your walls and PMs, seeing the history of your chats with people is cheating! The Masquerade is a Mandatory Event, so we expect everyone to be there if not on hiatus. You don't have to participate in the party games, but at least try to find your partner by asking questions in the ballroom.

Is it Just the Masquerade?: It wouldn't be a party without games! We will have a few party games, but for now they are secret!! What Do We Win?: A surprise sticker on your wall for guessing right. The first five to win get a special sticker, and the first winner receives a feature in the description!

How Many Points for the Activity Check?: 50 points. We want to see your activity up by 50 points by the end of the check.
