halloween event + general updates

Hi all, announcement numero trés coming your way!
I'll get the quick stuff out the way: employee roster will be updated today or tomorrow, I apologise for the delay! At the same time, i'll be going over the rooms to make sure all is up to date and accurate too :)
We've conducted our first activity check for the weekend and will be doing another one next weekend. To help you avoid being included in the check, please note the following: having 0 points is the same as being inactive. We'll also do another profile check during mid this week(likely thursday your time, friday my time) as it's been 2 weeks since the rp started and our first batch of applicants should have their profiles close to- if not already- completed by now :)
Onto the fun stuff!

It's time to figure out the Venus Lounges' first event and what better way then to celebrate with the upcoming holiday with a spooky, y event!
We have three options currently but are open to suggestions(you will need to comment said suggestions though); each one catering to a different aspect of a Halloween event. I've listed the options alongside a brief description below, you'll also find a link to a poll
You can vote for more then one option but please do not vote more then once to try skew the poll in your favour.
[✱] Horror Watch Party : via Hyperbeam. We'll do one accessible movie such as Coraline, Harry Potter, etc., and then a more mature horror such as The Conjuring, REC, Sinister, etc. Movie choices TBD if this gets selected.
[✱] Masquerade : participants will be invited to a masquerade + burlesque ball. Roleplay muns(either the clients, pearls or both) will change their DPs to a masked figure. All Pearls will serve primarily as escorts, wait staff, bartenders, etc., during this event.
[✱] Wicked Curse : a mysterious purple mist has infiltrated the VL through the vent system and placed a wicked curse on all those inside! Participants will be trapped within the Lounge for 72 hours, unable to escape from their new cage... And each other. Participants will be turned into their spooky monster of choice to fulfill any... supernatural kinks ;)

If selecting Option B or C, the Halloween event will last for two weeks- the last week of October and the first week of November; starting HA time.

Once the event has finished, we will private the event tab however we will leave an accessible link so that muns can finish any threads they have going on. Please note that once the 9th starts, you will no longer be able to start new threads.
If the Watch Party ends up being the event we select, we will host on 28.10.23 HA time; I'll figure out timezones and to provide more accurate info over the following week.
