so apparently Hyuna is officially leaving cube

and she is posting with Edawn on her insta WHEN WE DON'T KNOW WHAT HIS FATE IS AND IT'S PROBABLY UNDECIDED.

like girl wyddd do you want to have your boyfriend kicked? because that's how you get your boyfriend kicked too.

ok maybe she has a masterplan of having him kicked so they can make a duo or something, IF they have enough popularity for it.

......which they might or might not have if she keeps rubbing it in the public's face that they are dating and not available for fangirls/fanboys's fantasies! is she hoping the public will get over it the more they see them together?

and if that fails, then what? she might be ruining his chances of ever returning to his group, and might just end his career there. for what? to annoy cube just because she's out and can?

seriously, I wish at least one side could handle the situation in a mature way. because it seems like a pettyness contest at this point. as a universe all I want is for this storm to be over and see pentagon with 10 members again ;;

ps. I have nothing against them dating and I'm happy they're happy but with how the Korean public reacts, they should be considering that and laying low, y'know?

it's another question that the public shouldn't be reacting like that, but it's the general kpop marketing, acting as boyfriend or girlfriend for the fans only, and while it's forced by companies the idols do go along with it so they should be aware of their image and the consequences...

I think it's extremely simple minded to think there's only a few ways to go with your career. I think you've forgotten that there are tons of opportunities out there for anybody, esp for the both of them if they end up elsewhere.

I also think it's stupid to accomodate due to the jealousy of fans and due to rules that need to change. relationships and couples are something normal and if we don't treat idols with those same regular expectations, then that's an issue on its own.

regardless, it's extremely bold of you to state all this without knowing how the industry really works in their shoes. if anything, like everybody, I don't think you know what they're up to and how it all functions. I'm sure hyuna and e'dawn know what they are doing. now, even if I didn't, it's ignorant for anyone to assume without proper insight and experience.

i don't think you're in the position to weigh the pros and cons of their relationship. i also don't think you should be blaming hyuna for edawns career path. its true that we haven't seen an idol couple from the newer generations be so proud and public with their relationship and its difficult to predict how the korean population will handle it, but that doesn't mean they should stop publicly professing their love for each other in worries of affecting the other. maybe this will be the couple that encourage other idols to come forth with their relationship, who knows? but you shouldn't think that hyuna is ruining edawns life just because she's leaving cube. and you shouldn't have your opinions swayed bcs you're a pentagon fan, or you wanna see a full 10 membered pentagon, too.

i'm pretty sure edawn had knowledge prior to when hyuna uploaded those posts bb. why does everyone have so much to say about a relationship that isn't theirs ? they've been together for over 2 years, i'm sure they know what they're doing. we only know what we see in the media and that definitely isn't even 10% of the whole story. let's let them decide their own fates c:

why you're trying to use this ty rules as an excuse to conduct whatever's going on??? .change isn't easy. they're doing that. hyuna isn't making his career sad. she's showing it's okay to date while idol.

Uh excuse me? They’ve been going out on a lot of dates recently and they both seem extremely happy, probably happier than they were with Square. Even though E’Dawn hasn’t been confirmed to have left Square, in a situation like that it’s either stay with the company that screwed you over or go and be happy and Hyuna definitely chose to be happy and hopefully E’Dawn chooses the same. And at the end of the day in a perfect world it should be what the idols want. And it’s understandable that as a fan of them you’re hurt like a billion other fans are but honestly if E’Dawn has left Square would you want him to stay there and suffer all because Pentagon would be complete or be with his girlfriend and be happy instead? Ask yourself that question. But anyways Hyuna did what she did to be happy at the end of the day and what right does anyone (not trying to be rude, I mean absolutely no offense... but you and some people also included) have to criticize her for choosing happiness over being with a company that did her dirty and is to blame for 99% of this. And don’t reply to me saying it’s her fault cause ITS NOT. Y’ALL ARE FORGETTING THAT IDOLS ARE HUMANS TOO. THEY DATE, DEAL WITH IT AND IT UP. EDawn isn't helpless in this. If he were really so bothered, he would've spoken out--- or even probably dumped her for his fans. It's pretty clear that a.) both Cube and EDawn are hella done with each other (whether it's official or not) and b.) Hyuna's wearing the strap-on for BOTH of them u w u

I don't think they should have to conform to the unfairness of their company. Edwan doesn't seem to have a problem with it. Hyuna is allowed to express her happiness with her relationship and vice versa. The Korean entertainment need to it up tbh and so do the fans that have an issue with it.
