from Chinese donghua mdzs if you have not. we're having scum villain on wetv airing rn.

wotakoi (love is hard for an otaku) is a cute short anime about otakus fallin in love. i think its cute bc it's also between adults and has some "adult" humour (ie. taxes, not b**bs). another "adult" romance, would be aggretsuko. its furry, yeah, but it's cute and has a third season on netflix rn

an inbetween real life and fantasy world i would recommend devil is a part timer. it's old so you may have watched it but it's very hilarious and definitely very entertaining. it's basically about satan coming to the real world and taking a part-time job as a mcdonald's worker. another good inbetween show is miss kobayashi's dragon maid, a kyoani classic. it's also kinda popular so you may have watched it but i have to recommend bc its a super cute family anime between an overtired worker kobayashi and her dragon maid tohru, as well as tohru's friend/daughter kanna. ami going way into this

more romanceー boarding school juliet (strong female lead with enemies to lovers? hell yeah), my bride is a mermaid, also my little monster. very very cute OH and chihayafuru. im watching it rn and im crying every episode lowkey

not romance but like friendship (?) ー k-on! (popular as well but very cute friendship between girls in a band!1!!)

and yeah. too much but those are my personal faves

icb no one has suggested this but fullmetal alchemist and fullmetal alchemist brotherhood !! souleater too hehehehe

Im not gonna give many but I'll reccomend you two of my ultimate favorites

-Golden kamuy (i can confidently say this is the best and most fun not just anime but piece of media i have ever consumed, i even had to read the manga which turned out to be even better, i cant tell you how amazing this anime is without spoiling)

-dorohedoro (has very very lovable characters, a unique premise and feel that i havent quite gotten from other anime and has possibly may fave take on sorcery in anime and manga,)

The comedy in both of these is superb even though neither are comedy anime

violet evergarden, natsume yuujinchou, demon slayer, kaguya-sama love is war, cardcaptor sakura, fruits basket (i recommend the recent version), kaichou wa maid sama, all the studio ghibli movies, inuyasha, kamisama hajimemaa.

Cells at work, a silent voice, the devil's a part timer, air gear, fruits basket (2019), gravitation,

this is pretty late and i dont think anyone ever hype about this anime but if you are into post-apocalypse, heart warming anime. watch japan sink 2020
