District Twelve

 

District twelve is the most north east surviving district. They are by far the poorest district amongst all of Panem. The highest death rate is by starvation, due to the fact that hardly anyone makes it to old age. The peacekeepers are very calm and forgiving here, because they are suffering as well. Once a student reaches the age past the hunger games, they instantly become miners in the mountains that stand in the north.
