@Im Jinah He couldn't decide whether to believe the woman or not. She was quite convincing in her tone and body language, but that was what made him even more weary. She was too honest, perhaps even blunt. She'd even admitted to his face about being a reporter, but he managed to yield a slight grin to her comments about his trainee. Amazing how accurate first impressions were at times. And so he wouldn't let his guard down. After all, her first impression had been rather suspicious, regardless of the honesty she decided to display to him now.

Hearing the bell signalling the beginning of the next round, Jackson joined her in sitting down. He had to invest extra effort into muffling a yawn. There was absolutely no reason that this match should have gotten as long as it had gotten. Nevertheless, his eyes remained glued on the ring as the action commenced, only sparing the woman beside him a momentarily glance. He debated whether or not to completely ignore her advances, but she was fresh -- somehow different from most reporters that he had encountered throughout his dramatic career.

"Alright, well let's hear it, Miss--" he replied, leaning back in his seat now before realizing that he didn't have a name to associate with her face yet. For Jackson Wang, it was too kind of an offer, but he didn't have a particular reason to get nasty with this reporter yet. Plus, there were people around. Thousands of them too, and he didn't need yet another stain to his reputation.

Just because he was going to take a few questions from her didn't mean he was yielding any trust. Sure, he'd answer whatever she would ask about his trainee, but the moment the questions got into personal matters or directed towards him, he was ready to quit

@Im Jinah It happened every match. The roar of the crowd, the muffled sound of punches, and the shrill shriek of the referee's whistle never failed to get the adrenaline pumping through his veins. His brows furrowed slightly as he examined his trainee's every move like a predator stalking its prey. In Jackson's eyes, the winning strategy was so obvious. The opponent left his left side vulnerable for a flank after every single jab. But why couldn't the younger trainee execute? For gods-sake, if Jaekwang didn't knock his opponent out in the next round or two, Jackson was just about ready to jump in the ring himself to finish the deal.

It was really quite ironic. Jackson Wang had been so goddamn dominant in the sport, and he probably still would have been if he was active and competing. But instead, here he was on the sidelines, both literally and figuratively. But who else could he blame... it made his head hurt and his veteran knuckles ache just to recall his downfall.

The referee blew his whistle to signal the end of the current round, and Jackson ushered the sports medicine and strategic coaches into the fighter's corner for the timeout. He personally never went in there to talk to the athletes during a match - he was too blunt and not so encouraging. Plus if he lost his temper, he probably would have knocked out Jaekwang himself. Heaving a deep sigh, he muttered some expletives under his breath as he took a step back from the side of the ring. He needed some air. He glanced around the arena, watching the onslaught of camera flashes and fan signs. It was weird to know that for once, they weren't for him.

Right as he was about to return to his front row seat, Jackson was surprised to be approached by a blonde woman of slender figure, remarkably attractive. He noticed the stunning, but artificial smile that graced her thin lips. His own expression wasn't so kind, as he simply returned a cold gaze and slightly raised eyebrow. On any other occasion, he would've been remarkably more generous in greeting a beauty, but the thing was, he recognized her. Perhaps she underestimated a fighter's observatory instincts, but he recognized her from several other occasions here at the boxing ring. On each occasion, she never seemed too interested in the boxing match taking place either -- which really made him wonder who she was there for. Or for that matter, what she was there for.

He pondered her question in his head for a brief moment. 'You're Jackson Wang, right?' Rather suspicious. She wouldn't have approached him as such if she had no clue, now would she? His immediate gut feeling told him she couldn't have been up to much good. A gold digger? He was doubtful, but it was a possibility. She certainly had to looks to pull it off. Or more likely... a reporter? For godssake, would they ever leave him alone? Did they not have enough fun writing about his crash and burn a few months ago? A cruel smirk crawled upon his lips, and he took a deep breath before finally speaking to the mysterious woman. He'd keep his temper. For now, that is.

"And you are?"
