the concept of the cliques is the driving force of periwinkle residences' dynamics and social heirarchy. nearly everything is based on how these cliques interact with one another. a dorm called periwinkle was created as a social experiment in the early 2000s by the landlady and her executive. it had turned out to be so successful that the project was later expanded and made into an apartment complex with the same name.
from over 200 applicants expressing interest daily for it's numerous commodities, strategic location and low price, only a few get selected based on their answers on the prerequisite forms. the landlady specifically chooses individuals who embody one of her so-called "seven main cliques"; the junkies, the artists, the nerds, the preps, the jocks, the role models and the populars. so tell us: what trait do you have that is uniquely associated to your clique? please explain with at least 3 sentences.
once they are admitted, they are given perks and advantages based on their social standing as part of their clique: underdogs get the basement, the top dogs get the pent house. they will all undergo a series of tests and prompts in the form of events given by the landlady for each clique to establish their standing.
they are not told right away about the clique project, only that they must only speak to people within their floor. the landlady will assign clique captains, and captains will choose their seconds in command; they are tasked to keep the clique in order, as well as to ensure minimal interaction with other cliques. friendships outside one's own clique is looked down upon, and relationships are outrightly forbidden.
