All (playable) humans are housed in various groups called orphanages. This has nothing to do with being real orphans (though that may be part of your backstory), but rather is a name for the farms that vampires use to raise the best quality of human for them to drain of blood. Humans are not harvested until they are 18.

Orphanages are large manor homes surrounded by ample land for you to run, play, and live in. They are clean, with all the amenities you could need to live comfortably, as well as food and entertainment - if you don't mind vampires being everywhere on television since cell phones and computers are strictly prohibited in orphanages

Blood draining is now done by machine most of the time. Blood is collected from a certain number of people who have the same blood type once a week. No human blood is 'special' or 'sweeter' than the rest. That's just a vampire pick-up line.

The days of meeting a vampire and letting them bite you and enchant you are over. To keep the divide between vampires and humans up and avoid fraternization, all meetings of a human and a vampire must take place in the orphanage's visitors hall. You will be supervised.

Vampires may purchase humans to act as personal blood slaves should they find a particular favorite among the masses. These auctions will be held as events periodically, with points equating to money.

Orphanage Rules
One: You may never leave the orphanage grounds.
Two: If people from the farm come in, they will be searched. When they leave, they will be searched. Anything smuggled in or out will result in a punishment.
Three: All humans will have at least one chaperone during meetings with any vampire for any reason.
Four: Humans are forbidden from physical contact with vampires.
Five: A Head will be appointed to each orphanage. Much like coven leaders, these positions are available until filled and first-come, first-served. If a head wishes to have an assistant, they will have to make the request to an admin.
Six: If you are bought by a vampire to be a personal blood slave, you are considered owned property and must never go anywhere without a permission slip from your owner.
Seven: Humans should never be out after dark for any reason, even if they have a permission slip.
Eight: If a human is found to be carrying on a ual relationship with a vampire, the penalty is death.
Nine: If you know of another human having a ual relationship with a vampire and report it (with proof) to an admin, you will gain 500pts
