@⁰⁴ jennie k. she was definitely a complete different person when she was intoxicated, and there was no denying that. yet, seokwoo still always somehow found himself enjoying it once in a while, especially when it gave him the chance to spend time with her. "it's okay." he mutters back, holding her gently enough to keep her standing on her two feet instead of falling onto the floor. however, he fails to by the time they reached to the door when he almost stumbles with her but fortunately, catches himself on time. "let me just-" he bends down to help carry her into his arms again as he previously did at the club, then closes the door shut before making his way up stairs to her room. "shh, be quiet. who knows who might hear us- i mean you." he whispers and looks down at her in the dark till they reached to her bedroom.

@⁰⁴ seokwoo k. as he walks over to her side, opening the door to welcome her out, jennie rises to her feet. the quick movement causes her to stumble over and press herself against his chest, her arms quickly wrapping around his neck as she looks up at him with shaky eyes. "sorry, hehe," she mumbles. the sober jennie was always very stoic, keeping her emotions stuck behind an elegant face. therefore, when any alcohol gets into her system she immediately becomes a child, especially one who needs to be cared for; which thus explained why she so often reached for her ex after a drinking session, even though she shouldn't. looking up at seokwoo, jennie presses a kiss to his chin with a bubbly giggle, words slurred as she stumbles with him to the front door. "thank you for pickin' me up, wooooooooo," she says. "let's go to bed..." with shaky fingers she unlocks the front door, tripping over the threshold and falling to the floor.

@⁰⁴ jennie k. throughout his entire trip with her from the club to the car, it was the first he had actually given her a genuine smile when he witnesses the way she beamed, including the breath taking moment of her when the hues of the city lights flashes upon her. the scenery itself almost reminds him of the times they shared during their favorite raving concerts, a time when things were going so well between the two. yet, his smile and thoughts would vanish when they arrived to the sorority house, where he'd only be reminded of the downs that occurred during their relationship. then again, it wasn't as if he planned on sticking around long enough to only give her mixed signals then vanish again... no. he'd be gone by the minute the sun rose up into the sky and probably, she wouldn't even remember he took her home. as soon as he parks to the side and turns off the engine, he peers over at her to check if she was okay and pulls his hand away to walk out and open the door for her. "yes, we are. okay now lets get you out and in bed."

@⁰⁴ seokwoo k. the singular word that leaves him, along with the utter lack of fighting on his end (that, even drunk, jennie would have expected from him), is enough to make jennie give a goofy, uncharacteristic smile smile up to him. he's so handsome, she muses drunkenly as he shuts the door and makes his way over to his end. "mhmm," she hums tiredly as she leans her head back, watching the colors of the city go by the window. when his hand covers hers, fingers interlacing easily, she smiles to herself. this was so natural for them, as ed up as it was. gazing tiredly at their intertwined fingers as he drives, it's not long until they arrive at the alpha gamma alpha house and jennie starts to feel shame sink into her stomach. it's fine... he'll stay and just for one night, they'll be okay again. "mmm," she hums, unbuckling her seatbelt with half-open eyes and heavy hands. "we're home!" she exclaims childishly, a small giggle leaving her after.
