Even if he had unsightly emotions peek up somewhere here and there, he knew to stuff them down to someplace where they couldn't be seen- and couldn't make him do something stupid by the same margin. Whatever it was, she had somehow found a slot in his life to occupy and now had become too deeply integrated to take out- it scared him a little to think of how much he needed to see Jinsoul every week just to be able to keep on breathing. And yet the addiction was not one he was planning to rid himself of any time soon... not while it was still harmless.

It was the weekend and that meant Seungcheol was in some aspect free, or free enough to get away with drowning himself in an oversized hoodie without being gawked at by freshies. Before heading out he had considered changing into something more formal- and yet his mind traitorously suggested that Jinsoul could be trusted enough to see him at less than his best. Nonetheless he doesn't forget to pick up the obligatory bouquet, sprays of sweetpea and cosmos spilling across his arms. He was evidently earlier than the grocery shopee - twenty minutes was perhaps a too ambitious estimate- but not early enough to begin worrying about the fragile blooms in the wind.
