At the feeling of the Demon pulling back on his hold, Seunghyun couldn't help but have a slight smirk cross his face as he stepped into church grounds... Maybe it wasn't as bad as it was for the Demon, but the heavy feeling of guilt was overwhelming. Unlike most Fallen though, he could at least remain standing and overall fine while they would be on their knees and either bawling their eyes out or simply wailing for mercy... The words that this being kept shooting at him though made the Fallen's blood ready to boil in anger, but he couldn't help but also agree somewhat with that... Only somewhat. He felt safer where the Demon couldn't possibly leech off of him, thus earning more confidence for himself.
When the water that Seunghyun had summoned up now turned into ice, hard and painful looking ice crystals, it technically had no effect on the Fallen. But the Demon didn't seem to know that, the breaking of their hands simply making the Don chuckle quietly as he raised his own frozen hands up for it to see... Then had the ice become water and then vaporized into the air, leaving perfectly fine hands back.
"Tricky little demon you are... But your powers don't work on me," he purred back, almost pitch black eyes boring into the being on the other side of the invisible line that split them. A slight smile curled onto his lips as he asked lightly, "What will you do now? Wait out here until I leave? Or are you going to run away? I hope you still remember that this is Fallen territory... And the rest of us WILL know that there's a Demon here," a taunting tone in his voice as his hands, deep in his pocket, had already pressed the button to summon some of his Fallen soldiers to his location... It would be a pleasure for him to get as much out of this disgusting being before it could be exterminated.
Jongup 11 years ago
To say that Jongup was expecting a reaction was given; but this reaction surprised him. His eyes widened as the other male literally began to drag him towards the Holy ground. He hissed loudly and dug his heels in the ground, trying to stop them from getting any closer. He had just fed, and being a demon, he had superior strength, but being this close to a Holy place without preparing threw him off.
His heart beat faster when the Fallen crossed onto the ground. He felt the burning sensation wash over him as Holiness and purity engulfed him, and he growled, yanking hard and stopping their movements. He held them there with his strength, his teeth bared in a wicked grin. "So your terms involve cowardice? You can't simply talk to a Demon without hiding in your Sanctuary?" Jongup tsked. "I was right about angels; nothing but selfish, glorified cowards who hide from anything even remotly scary," he shook his head in disgust.
The water that wrapped around the Fallen's fingers had doused his fire, but that's not all the Jomgup could do. Reducing his fire, cold washed through his veins and through to his hands. The water around both their hands froze instantly; frost spreading and freezing into thick, glittering ice crystals. The natural fire instead Jongup countered the cold, so he was unaffected. But the cold and ice that continued to freeze around their hands was dropping quickly below freezing temperatures. He broke their hands a part ice shards flying. But chunks of ice still clung to their hands, and Jongup used his fire to melt it off his hands.
Jongup stood, himself one step out side the Church grounds, the Fallen with the frozen hands one step inside. "There little angel, you're safe. Happy now?" He sneered.

Even with what Seunghyun had said to the Demon, it STILL didn't seem to drive the being away... This one was VERY persistent, very clingy to him. Just the mere thought of that made the Fallen grow ever so slightly irritated... But once again, he always had to suppress his emotions away from the Demon's hunger. But it was true that those words really did sting him because they were TRUE. But as always, it hurt a lot more when someone else were saying those words.
Steps were now quickened towards the holy building, eyes averted away from the Demon trailing after him. Seunghyun knew that it was trying to tempt him, trying to lure him towards releasing his emotions out thanks to his mind reading... Though hearing the sizzle of spit hitting the ground, a slight smirk curled onto the Don's lips. "Impatient much, hm? As I told you before, Demon... If you want to know my answers, it will be on my terms." The spindle of the church now was visible as they got ever more closer to the building, the cross looming over BOTH of them as it is. And almost instantly as his eyes flitted up to glance at it, a sinking feeling of guilt was already beginning to gnaw at his heart.
Just a few more steps... Few more and the Fallen would be more or less "safe". But feeling the stinging prods of claws in his shoulder blades and the much more painful words that the Demon spoke was the last the Don would take from this nuisance. Stopping right in his tracks, the smell of his leather jacket being burned away, that was when the Fallen whipped around. His face was set into a fierce look, an expression that could crack stone as his hand crushed around the Demon's hands. Never mind the pain that was burning in his shoulders and hands or the suppressed emotions clawing to get out, Seunghyun had to teach this being a lesson. A layer of water now wrapped around his fingers, protecting him from the Demon's fieriness and also dousing out the heat that was flowing into the claws, plunging them into iciness as the Fallen hissed back, "Impressive to see you cross into Fallen territory, Demon. But let's see how well you fare on HOLY grounds."
To anyone watching, they might just think it was a scene of an older sibling dragging his younger one to the Mass going on inside, judging by the monotonous sounds of prayers inside the well-lit building. But a twisted smirk was lit on Seunghyun's face as still keeping his hand tight around the Demon's, he marched directly into Holy ground, dragging the being after him...

"What's wrong little angel? Did they cut out your tongue as well?" The Demon leered at the silence following his statement. He rolled his eyes when he was answered, but not anywhere near the questions he had asked before.
He was feeling energized, everything around him was sharp, in focus, and he only grew stronger as he fed off the energy of humans that past them. He almost brought a jogger to her knees with exhaustion. "Why must you treat me like this? Are Demons looked down upon in your precious little Angel court. Are we nothing but worthless scum to you? Don't tell me you think more highly of humans; they're pathetic, worthless, good for nothing but food. But of course, all you angels think you're so righteous. Ha. You pride yourselves on purity and goodness, when you're really nothing but a group of self-centred, vain, demeaning bunch of glorified people with wings. Almost exactly like Demons really, just with a better name."?
Jongup knew his mere presence got under the Fallen's skin, but he was doing a good job of suppressing those emotions. Well, enough so he couldn't gain much from it. The Demon Boss could still the energy change in his aura. If humans saw it they would have thought it was the most beautiful thing a mortal could ever lay eyes upon, but the Don thought it was disgusting. Too bright. And sparkly. Ugh.
As they walked, Jongup sensed the change in the already pure air, and he hissed as the feeling of Holiness started the wash over him. It's a good thing he was a powerful demon, or else he wouldn't even have been a me to step into angel territory, let alone near a church.
"So this is your plan? To flush out the Demon with prayers and Holy Water?" Jongup spat on the sidewalk, his saliva black and bubbling with heat. He was barely even able to say the word Holy with out fire choking at his throat. "Or maybe it's because you want to relive the old days. Give it up, little angel, the almighty Court looks down upon you as much as they do me. To you they are worthless. To you, you might as well be me." His black claws slide from his fingers again, and glowed red with heat. "But at least, /I/ still have my wings." He taunted and reached out with his clawed hand to prod painfully at both shoulder blades, right in the spot where the Fallen's wings would have been.

Exiting into the cool night air, Seunghyun made sure to tug down his cap and pull his scarf up to cover his lower face again... Mild irritation eating at him from the recent encounter of that demon. Forced to leave his favorite building before he could really note anything that his underlings were doing. How disappointing... But what occupied his mind more than the disappointment was the questioning as to why there was a Demon out of all things in Fallen Angel territory. It was rare as finding a treasure chest buried on a beach... Filled with the most gruesome and worst horrors one could think of.
But at that thought the Fallen shook his head slightly, tongue clicking as his hands were shoved deep into pockets. As for the rest of the night with his pre-thought plans now ruined, Seunghyun assumed that the best place was to either head to one another of his more favored places again... So with that decision in mind, the Don then turned around the corner to head towards there... Confident in that the Demon would be rid from that place and off his mind too.
Seemed like he must have jinxed it as the feeling of satisfaction crossed his mind, the feeling of creepiness was back... And STRONGER this time, if he could believe it. So just as quickly as the feeling had come, Seunghyun's eyes now narrowed as his senses were sharpened to their height. Maybe he might not have super senses like the others, but his were honed the peak that he could... And just as he had expected, the quiet footsteps of a person... The crawling creepiness oozing out from the Demon only made the Fallen hunch his shoulders a bit more and snuggle his face deeper into the scarf, struggling to maintain his irritation. NO... The Demon didn't deserve to feed off him at all. Not in the slightest.
At the question presented to him however, another plan began to formulate in his mind... A slight smirk curling his lips too as the Don now changed course. He was heading somewhere else... Somewhere that the Demon would be utterly surrounded by HOLINESS in. "As if it was any of your business, Demon... But if you would like, we can talk in a more brightly lit place, a more /sanctified/ place." A quiet chuckle then escaped Seunghyun as he knew exactly where to go. It was a place that he wouldn't really be usually in as it often overwhelmed him in guilt, but drawing the demon there? It was sure-fail proof way of either getting rid of it long enough to call in his gang to get rid of it or... It might just get rid of itself if the Demon was so foolish to step into the place...

/The nerve. Coward./ The Demon thought resentfully as he surveyed the three guards standing in from of him. This he didn't possess the power of persuasion, he did have something a little more powerful up his sleeve. Fear. Standing from the bar, he emitted a full guttural growl and whipped off his sunglasses. His ruby eyes displayed scenes of fire, death and torture. He showed them when he saw in Hell, and its horrid ways. Their eyes almost popped out of their heads, and one guard even vomited to the side. The surrounding people gasped, not knowing what was wrong; all they saw was a young, scowling boy surrounded by bouncers.
"Poor guy," Jongup spoke up and gently hauled the bouncer who had retched to his feet. "Must've had too much. This is why you guys aren't allowed to drink on the job." Jongup frowned in their direction, and the focus immediately shifted over accusingly to the bouncers, new rumours flying that they were drinking alcohol while working. "Don't worry," The demon spoke up again and placed his sunglasses back on. "I'll take care if this guy."
Even though the bouncer was almost twice his size, Jongup was not human, so he was able to practically carry the guard towards the back of the building. Instead of bringing the man to the washroom, however, Jongup kicked open the door to the back ally and pushed the man down onto the ground. "Worthless maggot," he growled, his Demon voice coming through, sounding like rusty metal being sharpened. "You dare interrupt me. This is why I hate humans."
He pulled the man to his feet and cupped his face, Jongup's back claws forming a cage around his head. The demon forced the bouncers mouth open and tilted his head up towards his. Jongup's lips barely brushed against his before the demon pulled back only slightly, and inhaled deeply. White smoke seemed to rise from the older man's throat and into Jongup's as the demon literally drank the man's life away. The poor victim struggled underneath him, hitting and kicking and jerking around as he tried to escape. The demon just tightened his grip on the male's head and inhaled sharply, the last of the man's life escaping from the hollow body. his lips, Jongup dropped the lifeless body on the ground and whipped around, eyes blazing and adrenaline coursing through his veins.
Sniffing the air again he followed the trail he had picked up on before, everything around him much clearer than before. Using his speed, he walked so quickly through the streets he was nothing but a blur to the worthless humans. Soon enough he stepped through an ally way and onto a sidewalk, falling into step right behind the Fallen Angel.
"You know you never answered my questions." He voice was back to sounding like the seventeen year old boy he appeared to be, a twisted smirk drawing across his face.

In the corner of his eye, Seunghyun now was absolutely sure that this... This was a demon that he had no intention of messing with. Curse his Fallen Angel status, if he were to still be fully an Angel, no doubt it would be quite easy to simply sweep this individual away. But that wasn't an option... Not any longer. So all the Don could do was bear with the sheer "creepiness" oozing off of this Demon right next to him.
Though at the words that were now whispered and spoken to him, Seunghyun couldn't help but have a slight shiver run down his spine... Knowing fully that the Demon was trying to entice emotions from him... Emotions that he couldn't risk letting it have. Emotions that were now SO difficult to retain back, especially once that cursed mouth came so close to his ear that the Fallen could feel the dry hotness fan over his skin. Resisting the urge to cringe, at least a hard swallow was brought down, eyes closed as he shoved those emotions down as well. NO, if he couldn't physically cut down the demon, at least he could deny the essence that it wanted to feed on. Him, it wanted to feed on his more or less "angelic" aura... Keeping the look on his face impassive as much as he could, fingers tightening into a fist as he avoided looking at the Demon hissing into his ear...
The burning that was given to his ear was almost enough to make Seunghyun snap right there and just release his emotions, restraining himself just in time even as his teeth ground together in the concentration.... He couldn't believe it, the Demon had him. Touched him, no doubt... It was disgusting, absolutely horrifying for him to have experienced that. But as a Fallen Angel, it shouldn't be something that surprised him, yes?
Then the frost creeping up the glass near his hand made the Fallen's eyes widen slightly as he prodded into the Demon's mind just a moment too late...
The shattering of the glass definitely brought attention to them as the fragment shot against Seunghyun to no harm at least, scattering across the bar like huge pieces of frost. The bartender at least had an alarmed look on his face as he wheeled about, the Fallen instantly noting that the man thought it had been a gun shot. And a gun shot it could be disguised as judging by the hushed whispers and fearful looks shot towards the corner they were in. And the guards that would be coming afterwards too...
A slight smirk twisting his lips, his thought was quickly turned into reality by the various huge "monkeys" Seunghyun called them mentally heading towards them. Turning his head, the Fallen made sure that they knew who he was, only requiring a nod towards the Demon seated next to him to direct them towards the being. In an almost inaudible voice, he murmured to the Demon, "Yet another slips from your grasp, Demon... Perhaps this will teach you not to enter into Fallen territory..." as a quiet chuckle escaped the Don, sliding off the stool and walking out of the place without a glance back at the surrounded being.
Jongup 11 years ago
Jongup flashed a grin then, fully displaying his pointed, jagged teeth. His flaming eyes read the Fallen's aura and he fed off his angelic energy. The rumours were true; angel essence was different. Sweet, more powerful. Addictive. Though he felt a slight tingle in his throat and nostrils, he ignored it, shifting in closer.
"I prefer the term... adventurous." he whispered, letting his glasses slide down the bridge of his nose ever so slightly to let only the Angel see his burning crimson eyes. To everyone else they just looked black or a dark, dark brown, but Glamour doesn't work on supernatural beings such as himself or the angel.
He let his eyes trail from the Fallen's face over his shoulder to the black clad back, staring intently at the clothed shoulder blades. "Did it hurt?" he wondered curiously, fixating his searing gaze on his back. "When they ripped those shining precious wings from your back? Did it sting like you back was being lashed with metal whips?" he chuckled and moved in closer. "Was it painful when you hit the ground after they banished you? Exiled you? What hurt most; the ground or your pride, little angel? What did it feel like to know they didn't want you anymore, that they didn't find you worthy enough to be an Angel?" he sneered quietly, his warm breath fanning over the Fallen's ear. The golden aura around the other sparkled magnificently, and he despised it, but he kept going. As a demon he always made sure to provoke someone one way or another, because any kind of emotion gave off more energy than none.
To the other humans in the building, his looked as if he was flirting with the other, perhaps a lover whispering thing to his other half. He loved those kind of disguises, because that meant no one would try and interrupt them.
He forked tongue flickered out like a snakes and swiped up the side of the Fallen's ear. His tongue burned, but he actually like the feeling, all the while letting his hand touch the wine glass that the male had just finished. Frost crept slowly up the stem of the glass, curling delicately around the cup. The glass crackled as it froze, cold mist falling off the glass in a steady shower. "How does it feel to know that no one likes you?"
Just like that, the tips of his fingers caught fire, and the heat shot through the ice, making the wine glass explode, shards of glass scattering across the bar.

Letting the rich sweet wine slid slowly down his throat, Seunghyun had to close his eyes to take in the deliciousness of it... Maybe it wasn't so potent as nectar, not so sweet and infused with power... But it was GOOD. Something that the humans got right in their few hundred years of making the alcohol... Pity only that he, as a former Angel, couldn't really get drunk so easily. Oh, he could get drunk, but it would take almost an winery to get him any where near intoxicated. Pity.
A slight smile was tugging at his lips as the liquid began to warm in his stomach, Seunghyun was savoring the wine when... He could feel the atmosphere in the building change instantly. Maybe he didn't have powers that allowed him to note the auras of others, but at least from his years on Earth and commanding others, the Fallen could tell when something was wrong. And this was something VERY wrong.
A twisting in his stomach re-awoken old instincts from his angelic days... A twitching of severed muscles on his shoulder blades where his wings used to be... This was a demon. Intruding into Fallen Angel territory? It was either that this one was a new one or... Simply suicidal. The smile on his lips disappeared as if it had never been there, but no other body language indicated that he was at all affected by the presence of such an UNWANTED being here.
The nerve of it to sit next to him, Seunghyun mentally grimaced at the feeling of such negative feelings washing off the Demon... This wasn't just some ordinary one. To so boldly tread into Fallen Angel territory and even be NEAR him (since demons HATED being near anything angelic-being a Fallen still allowed him to retain some of that holiness) meant that this one... Powerful. VERY powerful.
Dark eyes hidden in the shadows of his cap quickly flitted over to note that a whole GLASS of tequila was downed... And then the hand extended to him didn't really help Seunghyun's overwhelming suspicions towards this being. Neither did the tight smile that was given to him. Swirling the glass of wine between his fingers, all the Fallen did was sip from it... Testing and seeing how the being would react to waiting.
It wasn't after he could feel the atmosphere of the building recover /slightly/ from the passing of this Demon was when Seunghyun finally spoke. "Very bold of you to come into Angel territory... Demon. Or perhaps you're just suicidal..." the murmur slipping from his lips as if he was simply speaking to himself. And to anyone else besides the Demon, it would sound that way... Spoken soft enough that it would only hear him as the last of the almost blood-red liquid was drained into his lips, guts continuing to be knotted in him...

@T.O.P (Yay~)

With heavy steps, Jongup entered the Red Light District, shuddering instantly as the feeling washed over him. He was in the Fallen Angel territory, and even though they were no longer Divine creatures, they still had traces of heaven on them. He could smell it, feel it, and it sickened him. As a demon from the 7th circle of Hell, he despised anything, for the lack of a better word, godly.
He adjusted the Ray Bans that were perched on his nose, effectively hiding his smouldering eyes, and he flicked his black forked tongue out into the air. He could taste human energy. It excited him, and he smiled, his pointed teeth flashing under neath the street lights. Had a human passed, however, they wouldn't have been able to see it with the glamour he sheathed himself in. It was one of the few ways he would ensure humans wouldn't go running when they saw him, if his dangerous aura wasn't enough to scare them away in the first place.
He sniffed the air as he walked aimlessly, picking up a much richer scent than the humans. An angel had been here. He stood and closed his eyes, concentrating on the pulsing energy around him. There it was, a golden shine in a sea of translucent grey. Smirking, he followed it, stuffing his hands in his jean pockets, his black leather jacket creaking as he moved.
/Come out, come out wherever you are little angel/ he sang in his head, crimson eyes glittering with excitement behind the tinted lenses. Maybe the Angel will let him have a little taste of Divinity. He had been told it tasted sweet and pure, totally worth the burning sensation in your throat.
Soon enough, he entered the building, the smell of humans and sweat fueling him almost instantly. He drank up their energy as he went, everyone he passed instantly becoming fatigued; but his eyes were focused on the male that had a shining golden aura around him. his lips he walked up to the bar and sat on the seat beside the Angel and ordered a glass of tequila. Not a shot, a glass. The alcohol was all burn up by the time it hit his stomach, he didn't even have to worry about getting drunk. He turned to the boy beside him and gave him a closed lips smile, retracting the claws in his pocket to reach out and offer to shake his hand. "Hello."

Seunghyun was covered from head to toe in completely black clothes; leather jacket, black jeans, black scarf covering his lower half of his face, beanie... The most questionable, the overhanging black cap in the already pitch black darkness of the night. Why was he dressed so peculiarly as the Fallen strode down the streets of the Red Light District? No distinguishing marks or signs that the Don was coming through the territory? That was exactly what he wanted... What better way than to simply notice how his underlings were going on outside of his presence?
Sure, maybe a few of his more entrusted fellow Fallen might recognize him even without his full face exposed or his bright eyes concentrated on them, but those weren't the ones Seunghyun wanted to watch tonight... It would be the more "common" ones in the gang, the ones who ran underneath him and usually never really got to meet him that much. And if they did recognize him... Good for them, at least they weren't so oblivious to their Leader in the midst of them.
Heading to one of the more "upper class" areas of the district that Seunghyun knew would be more attractive to the Fallen (since they DID get the service there cheaper than other places), it didn't take long for his feet to carry him into the dark interior of the building... The quiet giggles and low voices of the clients and hostesses there greeting his ears. A slight smirk was lit onto his hidden mouth as the Fallen made his way over to bar, sliding into the one of the corner seats and keeping his head tilted down. Even his voice was slightly different as he ordered the usual for him, a fine glass of red wine... No need to alert even the bartender to his presence as the drink was slowly swirled between two fingers and then raised to his lips, dark eyes scanning and watching the room for the other Fallen...
Ren 11 years ago
Ren watched in disbelief as the Vampire walked away, before he vanished in an instant. He stood there for a second, completely surprised. A Vampire resisting their bloodlust, that close to coveted blood? Unbelievable. It seemed his respect for the man was only growing.
He ran his fingers through his hair, pausing to let his hand cover his eyes. They turned completely black for a second as his hair turned the same shade, and a low, unearthly chuckle rumbled from his throat.
"Ah, but I was so close to having some fun."
Then he flickered back to normal and slumped against the wall, grinning wryly to himself.
"So I live another day, huh? Interesting, Mister Yoseob. Very interesting."
The shadows swirled around him and he disappeared, leaving behind his creatures of darkness to feast on the fresh blood of the two mortals left behind. In the morning, there would be no sign of them ever having been there.
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
"Few things are genuinely dangerous to me anymore." Yoseob sighed, pulling back from the Fallen and slipping his hands into his pockets as he began to walk out of the Alleyway. "And while I should want you out of the way, I'd be lying if I said that I didn't find you interesting in the slightest." The vampire stretched his arm over his head and sighed.
"I'll see you around Ren. Do stay out of trouble." With that, the Don vanished in a puff of mist.

[sorry it's short, my brain is dying]
Ren 11 years ago
Ren continued watching him, impressed at his restraint. Funny how that would probably be the last thing he could feel for a long time. Maybe even forever, if he was lucky.
"I'd prefer the term uncaring. I suppose you could say that I was hoping either way. It doesn't matter what you do. The outcome is relatively the same. Nothingness. Rather depressing, isn't it."
The Fallen gave the other no resistance as his back was pressed against the cold brick wall. He had lost, or rather, the Vampire had won. Whatever happened now he had asked for, and he accepted that. If that meant the better part of a few months spent in agonizing pain, he was willing to face that at the promise of freedom.
"There wouldn't be a war. No one would care about me, except those naive enough not to understand the meaning of my existence. The instant that I initiated this 'fun,' I became replaceable. They'll just find someone else to take my place as a puppet.
Besides, why does it bother you? Now that you know my death would pose no threat to your kind, surely you have nothing to lose. You say I'm an enemy, so wouldn't it be best if I was gone? My powers are rare. There will be no others like me for centuries. Don't you want me out of the way?"
He questioned calmly, painfully aware of how close he was to indescribable pain as Yoseob's lips traced the skin on his neck. Hopefully the Vampire would be able to do something to him to kill him quickly enough, at least before his powers took over on their own and all hell broke loose.
"Just a warning Mister... no matter what you do, if you don't do it well enough... it will be dangerous for even you."
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
Yoseob watched Ren as he spoke, painfully aware of the seconds as they ticked by much too slowly for his tastes. "You're crazy." He whispered, his eyes narrowing into slits after hearing the words dripping with suicidal hopes. "Naive." The final second ticked by, and Yoseob still hadn't moved from his spot against the wall. He watched the boy's expression and chuckled. "Were you expecting me to go into a feeding frenzy like a shark who smells a drop of blood in water?"
Calmly and slowly, Yoseob approached the Fallen, backing him up against the wall as he placed his hands on either side of the younger's head, trapping him there. "You really think I'm that selfish to drain you here and now?" His hand harshly captured the boy's chin in his grasp, forcing Ren to meet his piercing gaze. "Draining you would only give an excuse for your boss to start a war with me. That would kind of upset my goal, now wouldn't it?" He leaned down until his lips were brushing against the other's neck as he spoke. The scent of the blood pumping just beneath the surface of the skin called to him.
Dangerous. But still he kept on.
"Besides, why would I give you what you want? You're technically one of my enemies. If your mere existence is torture for you, then why should I even bother ending it?"
Ren 11 years ago
"I know that, Mister. Of course, you're the one being played. And at least the last thing I'd be able to see was that beautiful face of yours when you're agitated and tormented like that."
Ren said cooly, dutifully counting off the agonizing seconds on his watch until hopefully it would all be over. Four minutes until maybe, just maybe, he could be free. It was all rather vague. He was judging his fate on the strength of another. Suicidal? That was what he was hoping for.
"Three and a half minutes. You know, Mister, you assume that I care whether I die." He said nonchalantly, looking up from his watch to stare the other in the eyes. "It takes more than some cute little fangs to kill an Angel, much more a Fallen, you know. But if you did, if you could, then it would be what I've been waiting for for years. The Wapon got carried away while drunk and ended up being dry by the Vampire leader. Perfect. There would be no reason to revive me, to give me a replacement soul. A defective product would simply be lost to an eternity of nothingness."
Hr said, taking another glance at his watch. One and a half minutes. An icy smile graced his lips, the frost reaching his eyes. The Fallen was the picture of absolute nothing.
"But just to be fair, I'll tell you this. If you indeed go full out; if you kill me, then I will have won. To the end, I would have had manipulated you into ultimately giving me what I want. Even as I die, you will have been my puppet. Are those really the circumstances you'd like to live on with? You know it's true. The great and mighty Don having been played by a kid. It's a good thing the only witnesses would be dead, because I'm sure there would be some questioning of you authority if that news were to leak out. But can you handle that? The knowledge that you lost yourself, if only for a moment."
His hands lowered to his sides and he stood still, the shadows flickering until stopping completely.
"Time's up. Make your choice."
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
Yoseob's gaze wearily followed the younger male as he ever so casually began to stroll through the walkway. Due to the youth of his companion's appearence: the vampire was tempted to warn him against the dangers of approaching strange men in alleys at nighttime, but remembered that this was a Fallen that he was dealing with, and not some simple minded school boy. More than likely, Ren had something up his sleeve that would ultimately serve to irritate Yoseob to no end.
The Vampire's grey eyes flashed in the darkness as he watched the shadows strangle then slice into the flesh of the two human males. Immediately, the scent of fresh blood and the sounds of distressed heartbeats invaded his senses, causing fangs to enlongate and throb with utter need for the crimson fluid that stained the pavement in front of him. His throat burned as he looked up to the Fallen with eyes full of temporary resentment.
"You're playing with fire right now, Kid." He said coldly, voice hoarse as if he had just returned from a run through the desert having had nothing to drink. He his chapped lips and smirked.
"Do you know how many liters of blood you carry in your veins? Probably no more than four or five. I can drain that in a second and still be thirsty." His voice was eerily calm, the type of calm that came before something terrible happened. His hand clenched into fists at his side as he tried to restrain himself from saying ' it' and draining the three in front of him.
Ren 11 years ago
Ren raised an eyebrow, his expression hidden by the hat on his head. He couldn't help but feel a note of new respect for this man. The way the Vampire put his words, it sounded like he hasn't just been fighting for himself. And while there was no way this particular Fallen could or would ever follow such a path himself, he could still admire it within the bounds of reason.
He moved away from his spot against the wall, the shadows following him and manifesting themselves to slowly squeeze the life out of the unsuspecting mortals, rendering them unconscious but mercifully alive.
"I wonder how long it's been since you've had blood."
He commented, not even bothering to turn around at the unconscious forms in his wake until he stood a good few feet away from them, even further from the Vampire, who was on the other side. The shadows went to work at his unspoken command, slicing the flesh of the humans. Methodically they worked, leaving them alive yet still filling the air with the smell of blood.
"After hearing such a stirring motive Mister, I think I'll change things up a bit from what I originally planned. Five minutes. Five minutes of resisting your bloodlust, of showing me that strength that is required to lead your kind without dragging them to hell. If you can last that long, staying where you are, and not drinking a single drop of blood.."
He paused, pulling off his scarf and coat and dropping, leaving him in a loose black t-shirt that he pulled even further off his shoulder, exposing his pale milky skin that seemed to glow in the moonlight and dark alley,
"Then you can have mine, to your heart's content, providing that you don't try to kill me. A worthy gamble, is it not? I may be a Fallen but I am still an immortal angel. Your pride and sanity weighed against the taste of my blood, and maybe even my life. Your answer determines whether we play, Mister."
He said with an almost crazed, amused grin, staring at the other with piercing dark eyes.

"I just hate people who lead others to their destruction while trying to cling to their selfish ambitions." The vampire said with a troubled sigh. "The former don didn't care about any of us, he simply wanted to take over this city because he was on a power trip. So naturally I had to put him in his place. People that asinine shouldn't be granted immortality." The male's words were bitter, and his expression darkened into one of anger as he thought of the man before him. He was pulled from his thoughts by the sound of his companion's voice.
"Hm?" Yoseob hummed in a bored tone, his eyes flitting briefly between Ren and the two men who were now closer to them. "A challenge...It depends, what were you going for?" He asked as his eyes went back over to the two figures that kept approaching them.
Ren 11 years ago
Ren followed his eyes and took note of the two others. They weren't any of his men and judging by Yoseob's reaction they were probably humans. Ren noted this as his gaze returned to the other. His kind were mind readers, and he was one of the best. Sure, the Vampire could force him out of his head with sheer willpower, but things were different here. The alcohol probably helped, but Ren also had a natural affinity with shadows and darkness. That could also be interpreted on a psychological plane, which meant he was sensitive to dark thoughts like anger, hurt, sadness, and the list went on and on. It wasn't as good as one may think. It was a gift.. And a curse.
"So you hate things like that? Those who are weak with themselves and yet lead others to their doom as well. Well, Mister, I have to say that I hate hypocrites, for sensible reasons. After all, the supposedly flawless heaven was packed with them. I'd have to say that I respect you as an opponent but that can all change in an instant. How do I know you're not lying to me? And how do you know I'm not either? Honor is judged in strength, I believe. The truly strong have their own pride. I propose a test. One for each of us, based on what we've seen and heard. Will you accept my challenge, Mister?"
He asked, tilting his head and looking at the other in the eyes, his own shadowed by the hat pulled low over his forehead. At the end of the alleyway, shadows creeped and curled around the two oblivious and obviously wasted humans, imperceptibly keeping them in the alleyway and leading them a little closer.
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
Yoseob shrugged, shoving his hands into his pockets as he leaned against the alley wall, glancing to his right and taking note of the fact that there were two other figures at the end of the passageway. They seemed to be human, judging from the scent and the life force that coursed through their veins. The Don absentmindedly picked a few of the ashes from the shoulders of his black dress shirt, his expression controlled as he heard the other boy mentioning his distaste for the tactics of getting to the position that he was in now.
How could it be that this boy knew that right away? Most people viewed him as ruthless, and as somebody who enjoyed the violence that came with his job. And yet this boy stood here, able to read him like a book. Perhaps it was because they were more alike than they would've liked to believe. Or perhaps it was just that he was giving away a bit too much with his body language.
"I became a Don because I was sick of answering to somebody who was young and naive." He said blankly. "The vampire before me was childish, and weak. They gave in much too easily to their bloodlust. If I had let them continue being in charge, the family would've gone down in ruin."

Ren felt a twinge of disappoint when the other stood up to leave, partly because he'd be lectured even more for having to abandon the assignment early, and partly because it would mean he had lost one of the few conversational partners that didn't completely bore him. After living as long as he did, there was little one could discuss with the Fallen that they didn't already know.
He stood up and followed the man, finding himself in a dark alleyway that was obstructed from view from the street. That really should have worried him, but the Vampire hopefully wouldn't be stupid enough to challenge him in his own domain. Shadows. Darkness. They were literally drowning in it, except they didn't exist in reality. Shadows from buildings were different from people's. They followed the rules by not doing anything. "Well, I guess it was, seeing as how I didn't have any expectations in the first place." He said nonchalantly, leaning against the wall. "I don't have the mentality to want such power. Plus, 'they' would kill me first, anyway. They don't want me to be a threat to their society that makes things like me. Puppets. Toys. Walking time bombs. Stuff like that. I'm their best result so far, but even I have my flaws as a test subject. There will come along more talent, greater talent that won't be identified and eliminated in time, and they'll in time kill me to take my place, and the cycle continues. I told you I knew about life not being fair, Mister."
He smiled wryly, staring at the few stars appearing in the light polluted sky, eyes narrowing for a second as he sent a icy glare toward the heavens where the Fallen knew they must be watching him. Well, there wasn't anything they could do if they didn't like how much or what he was saying. That talent had quite a long time to show up and be polished, so right now, he was all they had.
"So Mister. Why'd you become a Boss in the first place, if you subtly seem to find the methods.. Distasteful?"
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
"The same way that anybody becomes a Don." Yoseob sighed, standing up and stretching, making his way towards the door as he gestured for the other to follow him. He needed some fresh air, the scent of alcohol and the blood of the mortals in such a cramped space was starting to get to him. "Lie, cheat, kill, betray." He shrugged.
"It's bloody business, and you have to keep people in their places or else the same thing will happen to me as the person I had to kill to get my spot." He glanced at his nails before rubbing them on his shirt. "Was that the response you were hoping for?" He inquired, glancing at the blonde next to him. "How come you don't try to be in charge? You seem oddly content with being second fiddle."
Ren 11 years ago
Ren noticed that the other stopped drinking and decided that it was a good idea to follow his example. He himself had a strange way of his body working, everything revolving around light and dark, almost like the concept of Yin and Yang. To be unbalanced either direction could mean a personality or even a physical change, and the way he was now was the best and smartest for survival. Normally, he'd still have a good bit to go before things got really dangerous. But no, this wasn't a normal situation, seeing as how what had happened before with the demon and just sitting next to him now was proving to be a bit tricky.
He called the bartender over and paid him, slipping him a little extra with the subtle nod of his head. Since the Fallen practically owned this whole section of town, including the bar, his drinking habits were well known by the people who mattered. Now, no matter what he said, the man wouldn't give him any more alcohol. He may curse and get violent, but the staff at the place were good. They knew their place.
"Well, I can't say you're really right on that, Mister. You see, it wasn't a choice at all on my part, but I was also charged with doing something wrong. That something was just unavoidable, that's all. Existing. Living among them, hiding the fact that I was a weapon, and aligning myself with dark powers. I couldn't change it, so what was I supposed to do?..."
He paused, realizing that he was starting to say too much for anyone, much less the enemy. Alcohol could do that to him, which is why he should have gotten out of there fast. But he didn't want to, not before he uncovered some of the other's secrets.
"So Mister, you don't remember anything? What about after you became a vampire? What happened then, and how did you end up as a Don?"
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
"Well, I'm flattered." Yoseob said with a playful smirk as he watched the blonde downing yet another drink. It was then that the Vampire decided to cut himself off. His body didn't follow the same metabolic processes as a Human's did, and so He knew that if he kept drinking, he'd be drunk for a long time until he fed again.
He listened quietly to Ren as the blonde disclosed his reason for leaving heaven, humming quietly when the boy finished speaking. "I see. So it was more of a personal choice rather than you doing something wrong." His eyes quickly sweeped the room, observing how the shadows danced across the walls.
Yoseob's attention was grabbed by the question, and the vampire frowned the slightest bit, his baby face suddenly displaying an ancient type of youth. "I don't remember anything about my human life." He admitted quietly.
Ren 11 years ago
"Well, Mister, you know my kind often has a keen interest in both the exquisite and the deadly. I believe you qualify as both."
He answered with a note of playfulness, ordering another drink to gulp down, showing good faith that he wasn't just trying to get the other wasted to make assassination easier. Honestly, he'd probably get in trouble for that with his boss, but he could hardly care. Anyone who wanted the position of second-in-command would have to fight him for it, and no one wanted to do that.
"So we're starting out with the good stuff, huh? I like it. I got kicked out for merely existing. You've seen my powers, of course. I'm a weapon from Hell. So it was one or the other, and they chose to send me here, in limbo. Not my favorite choice but it was rather stuffy up there anyway."
The shadows in the room flickered forms idly, as if they were itching and straining to break out of their bonds of reality and attack one of the two. Honestly, which one it was could easily be put up for debate. Ren silenced them with a lazy snap of his fingers, eyes roaming over the room to make sure they obeyed, before looking back at Yoseob and asking,
"So, Mister, what's your Vampire story? Do you even remember how you became one?"
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
Yoseob's eyebrow shot up as he heard Ren's proposition. "What could you possibly want to know about me, little one?" He asked curiously, accepting the drink that was handed to him, observing the way that his fingers curved around the glass before glancing up at Ren with a toothy grin. "Don't tell me you're infatuated with me now." Draining his drink, Yoseob noted that he was already beginning to feel the effects of the alcohol.
"Very well then, what did you get kicked out of Heaven for?" The don figured that there was no harm in playing this game, as either way, he had no information to give the other that would be of real value.
Ren 11 years ago
Ren simply looked amused in response to to the other's piercing gaze. He had nothing to hide, at least in this case. The Fallen preferred to twist truths and mess with people's minds rather than outright blatantly lie. It was what he had been taught to do. But right now, he really was bored, and as he gulped down his next drink, he could feel himself getting a bit tipsy. Perfect.
"Oh but Mister, there's just so much that you don't know. I'm not talking about secrets about our kind's weaknesses; after all, that is so incredibly dull at times. No, I mean about you and me, personally. Wouldn't that just be exciting? Unless, of course, you have some other way to entertain ourselves. If you don't, then I'll let you have the first question."
He said casually, airily, as he called out to the bartender,
"Hey! Give the Mister here the best you've got, and put it on my tab."
As the man brought it over, Ren smirked and said,
"A little motivation for a fun night?"
