Hospital

The hospital: Come here whenever you get hurt, or if you feeling ill. You'd be better off not pissing of the vampires who are in charge of this place.

Suddenly at the change of the look and tone of her voice that Jiyeon gave him, Seunghyun was more than a bit confused... Did he just say something wrong? But at the harsh words that came out of the girl's mouth, the Fallen was more than stunned... Just what was she thinking? Something else than what the Don was thinking of, that was for sure... But never the less, he simply had a slight wry smile on his lips as he allowed himself to be pushed along... If he REALLY wanted to, it would have been a simple matter to stay there. But the night was getting old and... She probably needed her rest after all.
Shrugging to her reply and then noting the blush on her face, Seunghyun couldn't help but have a slight pout on his own... That looked somewhat cute even on his sharp features. Standing there in her doorway with the door somewhat open, a quiet chuckle escaped from the Fallen as he stated in a murmur, "I'm not sure what you take me for, Jiyeon... But I'm sure what I had in mind was much more light-hearted than anything you were thinking." Even with those words, his eyes held a knowing twinkle in them just as the Don began to leave, not really requiring the fact to look into her mind to have a feel of what she was thinking at the moment.
But instead, Seunghyun simply shrugged lightly and pretended as if that never happened once he had stepped outside back into the nippy cold air after having resided in her warm apartment for so long. It didn't bother him in the slightest as his lips curled up into a smile again and nodded towards Jiyeon. "Of course. No need to worry about me, Jiyeon. I'll get my information to you soon. Thank you again, nurse," he said quietly with a small bow of appreciation before the Fallen turned away, giving her a light-hearted wave as he descended down the stairs... A content smile on his face having widened from the slight one...

A tough girl like herself? Smiling a bit at what he presented, she gave a small shake of her head as he continued on. Did he really think she was tough? He was the first one she's  ever heard had to praise her on things such as abilities, whether it was emotional or physical. It could be taken as something that was simple, but hearing the two words 'thank you,' leave his lips made her smile. She heard it thousands of times at her job, and even if it always made her smile, never have she smiled this much before. But she nodded her head anyway, wanting him to know that she appreciated what he had to say.
Smiling as he complimented her, she shook her head and thought of what she could say to make him not flatter her so much. "Its nothing," she laughed shyly, quickly brushing a few strands of hair behind her ear. Walk? A small frown began to slip onto her lips as she thought about his wound that was recently sealed not too long ago. But before she could speak on the matter, he went on about her receiving his number, incase something like tonight were to happen again. She was a bit hesitant as he advanced towards her, explaining the reason more, letting her comprehend that he wasn't going to do anything else... But what got her attention the most wasn't the pleading look he gave her, but the last words that left his lips as he looked down at her. Scoffing bitterly, she glared up at him, with a shake of her head. "Other things? What on earth do you take me for? I'll think about calling you if I need your help, just leave your card at the front desk of the pharmacy. I do believe you overstayed your visit," she ranted on and on as she pushed him up the small flight of stairs. Stopping as they came to the entrance of her door, she cleared and placed a hand on her hip to shake away the slight staining of her cheeks in embarrassment. "Make it home safely," even if she knew that it was better to call a cab or something.. But it seemed as if he was set on leaving this way.

At the quiet question that Jiyeon presented him, Seunghyun couldn't help but have a low chuckle escape his curled lips. A girl like her... Seems like she was as curious as he had thought she was. But not in a bad way of course, just that the angel hadn't expected her to question him at all. So with a gleam of amusement in his eyes as his dark eyes watched her circle around, he murmured back a reply, "Hm... Did I say it wrong, Jiyeon? How about a tough cat like yourself?" somewhat half-joking with his answer but having a bit of truth in there... From what he saw, being able to recover so quickly as such was a courage that not many had. Innate courage it was, and Jiyeon had it in her.
Though suddenly with a small jolt of surprise running down his spine, the Don realized that she must see the scars on his back... The marks of the torn out wings that he had strived to hide from her the whole time... Now she could see it. But contrary to what he was thinking and expecting her to do... She didn't mention anything about them as the shirt slid down to cover the body. Even with the dried stain of blood on the shoulder, it still fit fine... Testing out his arm and quickly stopping when the pain made him let it dangle free again.
It was... Pleasant that they didn't really say much to each other. Just musing in their own thoughts as Seunghyun nodded in consent to her and murmured out a quiet, "Thank you," again. Watching her dispose of the needle, the Fallen made his way over to the coat hook and took off the jacket he had lent her to get here... Slipping it on one arm at a time and straightening out the collar at the door. As his piercing gaze fell once more on her crossed arms, the words that Jiyeon warned him with made a slight smile curl onto the Don's lips as he took a step back closer to her and into the light. It was nice to know tat she was looking out for the best for him... Seeing how not many people really cared that much for him. As the Don, they would always assume that he could clearly take care of himself... But what did they know? Even his own men thought that... And here, a human girl was worried for him.
But nodding again in consent, Seunghyun replied back lightly, "I will. Never doubted the words of a nurse, and especially not someone who has done such a fine job for me." A gentle smile was on his face as he continued, stepping closer to her...
"And no worries about my ride. I can walk home from here... But," now he paused slightly to reconsider his words for a moment before offering quietly again, "As I said so earlier in the car... I would like to give you my number. Just in case of any other... Beings that you come in contact with. Just call me and I'll come immediately." Now, he stared with an almost pleading look for her to go with his suggestion as he added on in almost an inaudible level, "And I won't mind if you call me for other things too... If you want..." shifting slightly in the tension of the moment now...

A girl like her, huh? She wasn't sure if she should be honored he said something like that to her, or slightly ticked off. "A girl like me?" She asked as she watched him struggle slightly with his shirt. Holding back a small laugh, she nodded her head about them being even, and about assisting him with his shirt. Making her way around him, she caught sight of the deep wounds inflected on his back momentarily, but said little as to what happened to him. It was none of her business, and she didn't need to be hated for being nosy. Helping him slide his shirt on, she took one glance at his shoulder before letting the sweater cover his body once more. Vampires... They really did exist. It was hard to believe such things like... Them was even possible to be living on this earth.. Maybe it was time to bring out the books again and do research over them. "Well, you're all patched up and ready to go." She softly whispered as she went to go put the used needle in a bag, before throwing it away in the garbage. There wasn't much to say-- a whole lot of thinking, yes, but very little to say. Although she was curious as to what in the hell was going on with what she considered human society, she didn't feel the need to push her luck for the night. And besides, holding off her own wounds until the morning was going to be gruesome enough. She was positive that she wouldn't experience another encounter such as the one she caught from walking to the hospital late at night... Carefully crossing her arms, she glanced over towards the stranger in her home, before recalling a certain someone's words... If he was, what she thought he was, there would be more complications to deal with.. It was like she was being pulled and pushed to be on different sides of a on going war she had no control of...
God, the night wasn't getting any younger, and her body was beyond exhausted. Catching a hold of the time, she finally decided to speak up and ensure that he'd be alright. "Try to rest easy for the next couple of days so you won't re-open your wound..." She warned him seriously, but gently, like any loving mother or sister would do. "I know saving humans..." she struggled to say a bit, finding it crazy how she had to categorize herself with millions other people, to someone who was completely different. "Is part of your job... But if you plan on recovering faster, you have to lay low for a few days... Is your ride back? I can go out and tell them that you're ready..."

Once Jiyeon had returned to dress and do whatever was needed for his wounds, Seunghyun couldn't help but allow his dark eyes to follow every movement that she made... Every turn or quick motion that her hands made as they unwrapped the blood-soaked bandage. Even if it did somewhat hurt to the fact when she opened it again, the burning of the alcohol or the swabbing of the cloth made no expression or reaction from the Fallen. He had gotten too much, much worse injuries than these before... And especially the fact that he wasn't going to be showing any reaction to something this small on his ARM, for the matter.
Though slowly lowering the other arm down so that it rested too on the arm rest, Seunghyun had to nod slowly to her answer... Grateful that something was still distracting him from the pain slowly throbbing there in his other arm. Living alone, huh? No wonder why the house was so impeccably clean and organized... There was no one else here. A good and a bad thing of course... Both of them quite obvious to tell enough that he didn't have to vocalize his thoughts. Though he did murmur out in reply, "Interesting... A girl like you living alone..." before sighing quietly and turning his eyes back to the sight of his flesh open like a gaping mouth that was spitting out blood...
At the question that she presented him back though, that made Seunghyun's gaze flit up to her face briefly before it descended back down to the needle and thread through it in her hand. What would he say? The truth? That seemed like the most likely answer as Jiyeon already knew about their presence... So keeping a watch on the needle like a hawk with a mouse as it slid into his skin and ignited a burst of pain, he murmured back a quiet reply, "Yes. Vampires it was... We... Had a sort of misunderstanding that collapsed into a fairly large mess." No need to get into more detail than was necessary, fighting the urge to clench his muscles or any part of his body as he watched the sharp end swim back and forth between the lips of the wound...
Luckily, it didn't take longer than what the Fallen had expecting, though the silence didn't help at all before the entire length of the wound was stitched shut together. His arm had gone somewhat numb from being still for so long, but Seunghyun had to release out a silent exhale once a new bandage was wrapped around his arm, closing his eyes for a brief moment. Before he could give her his thanks though, the girl had already moved away... Opening his eyes once more, the Don easily began to record exactly what she said to him in his mind. An advantage when it came to being a Fallen Angel, photographic memory.
Though as soon as he could tell that she had returned, the Fallen was already busy with his uninjured arm to try and unfold the shirt again... Damn it, he forgot that it would be almost impossible for him to get it on himself... But at least before that, his dark eyes could tell that Jiyeon was blushing lightly when looking at him. Was it... His body that she was looking at? The bruises were all that stood out to the Don as he glanced down, but then instantly looked back up to her. Once her eyes finally met his, then Seunghyun nodded in consent to her words and quickly spoke in a gentle voice, "Thank you, Jiyeon... I cannot express my thanks to you in words, but you have my everlasting gratitude." A phrase that held much more meaning to the immortal Fallen than any human, "Though you could say that we are now evened out... I believe I require one more favor of you."
At this, his lips were curled into a rueful smile as he slowly got to his feet and held out the shirt to her, "If you don't mind... Could you help me get his on? One arm certainly is not enough for it to be slipped on..." chuckling quietly afterwards as he made quiet steps towards her. The scars on his back were now exposed... IF only Jiyeon would go around to see those twin slightly raised and jagged scars that ran down his shoulder blades...
Jiyeon 11 years ago
She watched as he sent her a hesitant glance, only making it even
more obvious that he didn't want to take his shirt off as not only a sigh escaped his lips, but he continued to look troubled, causing her to shake her head slightly. Did she say something wrong? How was she going tend to his wounds if majority of his body was covered up? As she ready herself by tugging on the white rubber gloves and reaching for the wet cloth, she caught sight of him standing up and removing his shirt. Quickly diverting her eyes to her gloves once more, she cleared as she turned around to see him already sitting in the chair she pulled out.
Giving a small and cheerful smile as he did the same to her, she quickly went to go remove the bandage on his upper body that seemed to be the issue. As she took in his question, she made a face as she saw the rather big and deep cut re-opened. What on earth did he do to get this? "Yes, Mr. Choi, I live alone.." she answered him quietly as focused on cleaning his wound. "This might burn a little," she told him softly as she took the wet white cloth that was mixed with alcohol and a little ointment to make sure all the bacteria was cleaned briefly. Gently cleaning some of the old blood stains and the newer stains, she placed the now bloody towel down and went to get the needle. But seeing what he's been through, and how he didn't even really make a struggle in finding out that he was wounded, she concluded that he was possibly immune to pain... Even if that was impossible to her. She was still hurting from the hit she took from one of the vampires. If anything, IT may have fractured something... But being the stubborn girl she was, she told herself to deal with it until later.
"If you don't mind me asking, what exactly did you do to get wounded like this? Was this with... Those vampires?" she asked, almost painfully as the memories were quick to shoot inside her mind. How she was stable enough to close up his wound took some inner strength, because she knew regret would haunt her over and over if she didn't do anything. Reaching for the needle that was already put together, she gently placed a hand on his shoulder to keep him still and to assist with opening that was still slowly spreading ( his wound ) . Piercing his skin with the needle as gently as possible, she slowly pulled it to the end before reaching to attach the other side of his skin. Silently, she  continued to patch him up. Being whatever he was must have been completely hard... She began to notice the other markings on his body... Some fresh while the others were older. Patching him up took a good thirty to thirty-five minutes altogether, but once she was done, she made sure to cover up his freshly stitch wound with a new bandage. Taking the gloves off, she let out a muffled sigh as she went to go wash her hands once again. "You're all set," she called out gently as she dried her hands and threw the gloves away, using the napkins as her assistance. "If you apply this ointment every few days, I'm sure the scar will slowly disappear.. As for the pain, if you need any pills, just drop by the pharmacy and tell them that you were brought there by me, Park Jiyeon. I should already have a prescription written up for you by then." Giving him a gentle smile, she fiddled with her necklace, wondering if he took all of her information into consideration, since it did take some convincing to get him to close up his wound... Her eyes would occasionally dart to his muscular and pale chest before drifting towards the ground, allowing a small tint of red to dust over her cheeks.

Now feeling more uncomfortable than he had before, the Don quickly sat up straight with his back against the chair. No need for Jiyeon to see those scars if she didn't need to as he quickly folded the shirt in his lap, giving a brief glance at the makeshift bandage on his upper arm that was now soaked through with his crimson fluids...
Seeing that the girl was now returned, he shifted slightly in his seat uncomfortably, keeping his arms crossed over his chest to hide some of the bruises there... Uncomfortable he was, it didn't help to hide the obvious athletically fitness of his body as Seunghyun fixed his gaze back on Jiyeon. Giving her a small smile, the Fallen couldn't help but inquire about something that was bothering him... "Do you live here alone, Jiyeon?" even as he followed her movements to the box, unconsciously tilting away slightly as she came close to his body... And those scars on his back, not knowing that his back was also dotted with even more bruises than his front was...

At the quiet cough that he heard, that instantly made Seunghyun blink his eyes and dart his dark eyes over to the girl seated next to him. Even in the flitting light that passed with every street light, his orbs still held a faint glitter of a reflection in them... A sign that he wasn't human, something that as a full Angel, would be like a cat's in the dark. But her name... Her name rolled around his head and then slipped out of his tongue as he mumbled quietly, "Jiyeon..." a small smile coming to his face as he nodded, just thinking of how beautiful that name really was.
Though what she said next more or less caught him off guard for a moment... Eyes widening for a brief second, he couldn't help but repeat what she said to himself in his mind. Guardian angel? Wait, did she want HIM to be her guardian angel? But then again, his more logical side kicked in, hissing out that it couldn't be possible that she would know. Seunghyun had been cautious enough not to show any of his ice powers. Shaking himself out of those thoughts running through his head, the Fallen smiled gently at her before replying, "Seunghyun. Most call me Mr. Choi... But hopefully you won't have to address me with that." The look of amusement in his eyes was evident even as the meaning behind it was... Deep, something that Jiyeon might get later if she listened around town.
The quiet ride for the remainder of the time was a peaceful silence... Not that awkward in the slightest as Seunghyun trusted his men and hopefully, the girl did as well since they DID save him. Good thing though when they pulled up to the front of the darkened apartment complex that the Don recognized this part of the city as being more or less neutral. Good, they had already passed over the grey dangerous border between Fallen and Vampire territory, carrying them to the middle grounds between all of the gangs. The safest place besides in Fallen territory it was...
But as soon as she had slipped out, so did Seunghyun with his unnatural grace of a Fallen... Murmuring to his men before the door closed to go on without him. The Don could get home at least without escorts as he had confidence in his own abilities... Following after Jiyeon with absolutely silent steps, he at least made sure to let his senses expand to the surrounding areas for those tell-tale signs of Demons or Vampires... Seemed like none and the trip to her door was quick at least.
Slipping into the dark interior of the place, his sharp eyes didn't really need the light as it was already scanning over her house with quite the bit of approval in his look... Just from gazing at how she arranged things and how everything was just so... PERFECT, the Fallen's impression of Jiyeon only heightened. A faint smile was on his face as the scent of fruit floated into his nose that could be smelled everywhere in the place... And he was sure that she smelled the same way too. Wait, what was he thinking? Smelling her?
But at least she made him come back to world when the girl reappeared, the white box in her hand standing out immediately to the Fallen as a medical kit. Thank god that she was back or else Seunghyun might have just remained there, thinking off into space... What she said next surprised the Don a bit though as his eyes widened slightly. Take off his shirt? Did he have to...? As his eyes gazed back down at the blossoming patch of blood on his shirt, he KNEW that he had to. But the reluctance of it was weighing against the need to though... He didn't want her to see the scars of his wings on his back. Those raised dark and jagged scars that were painful to even bring up about...
However, Seunghyun at least took a seat in the chair that she had pulled up for him before his gaze followed her to where she was washing her hands... Yes, he knew he had to do it. So with a heavy sigh to himself, the Fallen then pulled the warm knit dark sweater over that toned and pale body... Muscles seen through that smooth skin only marked here and there with slowly darkening bruises. Even as a Fallen with his enhanced healing, those injuries were hard enough that they would last for a couple of days...

Her name? Should she let him know who she was? Even if he did save her, she knew that playing around with certain types of people could leave her in a devastating position once again. But pushing away the fear and betrayal that she was forever drafted with, she let out a deep breath And slipped inside the vehicle behind him. She would surely tell him her name when the time was right... Listening to him, she glanced up at him in confusion and gratitude. What was she suppose to do? Decline his help when he went out of his way to save her in the end? She couldn't do that, but she couldn't accept it either... It was too much for them or simply ( him ) to handle alone, even if she wasn't the only person being watched/protected. And as he already informed her, he didn't take no for a answer as well. Giving the driver her address and the directions, she shifted a bit in the seat as she hid some strands of loosely fallen hair behind her ear. As her eyes slowly drifted towards the window, she would occasionally glance over towards him and meet his gaze. Their shoulder would slide or brush against each other every once in awhile, causing her to fiddle around with the zipper of his jacket that was still keeping her warmth.
But before she could trail her eyes towards the window once again, she quickly turned her head as he began talking. Without really giving it a lot of thought, she slowly and surely nodded her head. It was nice to see a man take on so much pressure and weight from the world and the "humans" living in it.

Hearing his growl snapped her back into reality as she looked back up at him. He looked as if he was in deep thoughts. So once he came to, she quietly let a small cough escape her lips to catch his attention. "My name is Jiyeon," she finally answered him, feeling as if it was the least she could do. "What's the name of my guardian angel?" She joked, having no idea if he was something else. For now, he was just a special human who hunted down vampires that cross the line, in her eyes. Soon, it was  within a few minutes when they arrived to the street of her apartment complex. Signaling the driver to stop the vehicle, she glanced at the unknown male before gesturing for him to follow her out of the car. Closing the door behind her swiftly, she pulled out her house keys and slowly made her way up to the steps that belonged to the entire building. Unlocking the door, she stepped inside before leaving the door open long enough for him to enter before she began walking up the stairs that led to her part of the place.

Making her way towards her door, she unlocked it and slowly slipped inside, letting him look around outside the place if he wished to. She was apparently a neat freak, and even if she was living in a apartment complex, she made sure to design it like any other professional would do the complex homes online and such. Slipping his jacket off her shoulders, she let pit a heavy sigh as she took in the fruity smell she cherished so much while she placed his jacket on the coat hanger. Looking back at him, a small smile appeared as she  quickly rushed to the nearby bathroom to pull out the materials needed. She didn't know how bad the wound was, but she was sure she had everything she needed.
"Please, have a seat and remove your shirt." she spoke professionally as she opened the white case that held the supplies inside. Going to wash her hands, she pulled out a chair from the dining room after she was finished and glanced up at him.

As soon as Seunghyun saw the girl slip on his jacket, he couldn't help but have a slight smile grace his sharp features as he stepped back... Still completely oblivious to the freshly opened wound on his shoulder with all the other dull aching drowning it out. His sharp eyes however, managed to catch the mutter that she made, nodding slightly in affirmative that it was all possible. Even if she DID live on the other side of Seoul, the Fallen would be glad to get her home too. "10 minutes... That will be perfectly fine, miss. No need to worry," the Don replied back soothingly, the hesitant smile growing larger as he watched her snuggle into his jacket with a contentment that he didn't know where it was coming from. WHY was he so happy right now?
Though his blissful thoughts were interrupted by the fact that she had now stepped closer to him, the look on her face worried and seemingly in shock. Following where her eyes were on, the Fallen's own eyes widened too at the sight of dark red blood seeping into his shirt... The pain now growing obvious as he watched her circle around him, his gaze following after her with the protest on his tongue. Seemed like what she was offering WAS something that he needed... But again, the Don didn't exactly like getting into people's debts and all.
It didn't seem like anything would be good against this human girl though... The resolute look in her eyes made sure of that as Seunghyun simply closed his mouth again and sighed quietly, moving his arm a bit. Didn't seem TOO bad, but again... He was trained not to notice pain until his body absolutely told him to shut down and get out. And with all the medical care in the Vampires, the exact beings who had gave him this injury... It seemed as if whether or not the Fallen liked it, he was going to have to allow this girl to help him. Would even them out too...
Chuckling quietly to her, Seunghyun then began to head to the car as he replied softly, "Fine, you win for this one, miss. But what's your name at least?" Dark eyes sparkled with interest as the nicely made vehicle came in sight... Not your average car, but it didn't /look/ like a sports car. Nope, it was a classy one but outfitted fully with bullet proof tinted windows and a frame that could withstand the most brutal of attacks...
The black car was in idle as Seunghyun opened the back door for her as a gentleman he was, the two guards that had accompanied him nodding to their leader. One sat in the back while the other took shotgun, both looking just as impassive as the other. The driver was ready to take them where ever was needed... Motioning for her to get in, the Fallen had a wry smile on his lips as he assured her, "It's fine. I'll protect you if anything happens... And I don't take no as an answer, miss" his words holding a slight bit of teasing in it as the smile widened, the other males relaxing at the words of their leader and giving slight nods to her too.
Good thing that it didn't take long for her to get in, Seunghyun getting a bit more than worried since they were in that fine grey line between Fallen and Vampire territory. Sliding in the car next to her and the door closing, the driver than glanced back at Seunghyun for directions. The Don then transferred the look towards the girl as he motioned towards the man waiting expectantly for directions. "Just tell him the cross streets and he'll drop us off there," he stated, fully away of the fact that their shoulders were touching... Not that something like that would usually come into such attention, but it was different for her.
Still fixing his dark eyes on her, the Fallen scrutinized the girl for a moment... With her exquisite beauty, it seemed likely as if another attack like that would happen if she were to cross without protection again. But as Don, Seunghyun had his own duties to fulfill... At least he could offer her SOMETHING though. Taking a deep breath, he said quietly in a soothing voice, "Pardon me for offering this, but I believe that since this IS a dangerous place to cross at night... I would like to give you my number just in case of another occurrence like what had just happened." his gaze holding her eyes steadily in his as he stated out his reason as to why.
"I have protection for these people here and I will NOT allow innocent civilians to be caught in the crossfires," he growled out under his breath, the look in his eyes hardening as the recent memories flashed in his mind... But that was enough said for now, keeping it more or less vague in case... She wasn't someone that he could fully trust. Seunghyun hoped not though, but looks could deceive... Oh how they could fool the mind...

Take her home? Was she really going to allow a complete stranger to simply take her home after everything she been through? And he wasn't just any stranger, he was her savior. Someone she knew that she could never repay him for what he helped her through. Watching with weaken eyes as he began to take off his jacket, she softly protested with the little courage she had left, but it wasn't enough to stop him from stripping himself of the warm looking jacket. "I..I do live around here, just ten minutes away.." she muttered softly as she hesitantly extended her hand forward to take hold of the jacket he gave her.

Slipping the much bigger yet warmer jacket around her frame, a small sigh in relief tore from her lips as she took in his scent, finding it alluring and wonderful, just like he was. Shaking away the sudden thoughts that occurred, she decided to look up at him again, only to catch a glimpse of something that didn't go well with his dark green shirt that stood out completely in the street lights. Noting the red stain that was forever growing, she instantly became worried and without much thought took a step closer so she could see more clearer. Thankfully her mind wasn't playing tricks on her, and the red stain appeared to be blood, and fresh from what she could tell. "You're bleeding," she muttered, half in disbelief, while the other half was in pure worry. Was it because of the attack? God, was it because of her? She could feel guilt rushing inside her body as quickly as that thought left her. "I can fix what's wrong back there, I promise." She spoke quickly as she looked around his body for any other marks she should know about. "I'm a trained nurse, and I have the right materials at my house." As she pulled away, she made sure to gaze up at him. "I don't take no for a answer." It came out as a slight joke, but her voice held the type of tone on when you knew if someone was being serious or not. Turning around to face him, she gave him small smile of reassurance. The last thing she wanted to be was bossy towards a grown man. "Where's your car?"

Did she sound demanding? That was the last thing she wanted from him to hear from her. But she couldn't help it, that worried side of her that always came out NO matter who you were. Even if this guy saved her, she knew she was taking a risk by inviting him inside of her home. Never in her life has she ever invited ANY strangers inside of her home, due to the fear of being taken advantage of or even worse... But he was different. She wanted to stick around just so she could figure out why he had her so drawn into him. It was as if he was casting a spell that she couldn't get away from... And there was nothing she could do, or WANT to do..  Just who was he?

Wiping the droplets of blood on his hand absently on the ground, Seunghyun continued to watch her with that intense gaze that he was so famed for... Pity that the Fallen didn't realize how scary it could be for some people to be under those dark eyes. The nod that she gave didn't reassure the Don too much, but at least from it, he was able to straighten up... Just as she did too. His instincts to reach out and help her up weren't exactly needed in this situation as she seemed to be able to walk for the bit, but just from the look on her face, it didn't seem as if she could do it for long though.
Still keeping a good distance between them, Seunghyun didn't go anywhere, especially with the thank you that he received. Inclining his head a bit, the Fallen nodded in respect, about to reply before she had pulled out her phone. Glancing over at his two men standing there silently and awaiting his order, the Don ordered them with a simple nod to go ahead and wait for him in the car. And just as silently, they left with the speed and grace that only Fallen could possess, faster than humans and similar to how large cats could look effortlessly with a liquid grace as they bounded away.
Just then, he turned his head back to note that she had now thrown the torn sweater onto the ground... Leaving her in simply tights and a tank top. Not the optimal dress for this sort of cold weather, that thought accompanied by a chilly gust of wind that made her mused hair flow around her face slightly. Though at the thank yous that spilled out of again and the sorry that accompanied it afterwards with the low bows, that made a small rueful smile dance onto Seunghyun's face as he stepped closer. Closing the distance that she had made by stepping back, his arm reached out to gently grab hers to stop the bowing. This was what he missed... Helping others out of the kindness of his heart and the instinct of duty he felt towards others.
Shaking his head, he released his hand before chuckling lowly, replying back, "No need, miss. But do you live around here? I can take you home as these places are quite dangerous..." glancing around at the dark interior they were in before taking the few steps to stand in the yellow light of the street light just to feel better. His eyes flickered up and down her figure concernedly before with a small hesitation, the Fallen then began to shrug off the quite warm leather jacket that he had on.
Holding it in his hand, he offered it to her as another question was presented to her, "Take this. You need it much more than I do right now..." his dark eyes sparkling with a hidden interest towards her, restraining himself from just diving into her mind... But what he didn't notice that through the long sleeved dark green shirt that he wore underneath, a slowly blossoming patch of dark liquid could be seen obviously in the street light. The remnants of the deep scratch that the Don had acquired just the night before, the would needing stitches that he didn't know even with the pain of it drowned out by the fact that his entire body ached from the countless bruises dotted on his body...

Was this  truly happening to her? Even if she wasn't the one to give in so easily, she knew that during this very moment, she couldn't fight anymore... Closing her eyes, she knew that she wouldn't be able to prepare herself from the raw and exclusive pain that was bound to come--the humiliation and pure torture that these... things would bring to her. All for what thought? They didn't even have a motive to attack her and treat her this way... But all thoughts were cast aside after hearing what sounded like a battle cry, she lifted her head up after hearing about two more cries being released. But once she looked around, she saw nothing but another figure bending over the leader she suppose. With fear evidently growing in her eyes, she tried her hardest to crawl away, wishing that she hadn't made the trip to go get the vaccine this way. It was foolish of her to even believe that such things didn't exist when it was clear to see that it wasn't a myth. But before she could break away, she heard footsteps coming in her direction, making her shudder in fear once more. Letting out a small sound of disapproval, she stayed perfectly still due to the fear of what he could do. Diverting her eyes towards the ground, she ignored the heat rushing to her face as she felt him gazing at her. And as much as she wanted to pull away, she couldn't--due to how unstable she was physically and emotionally. But at the feel of his fingers brushing away strands of her hair, she couldn't help her eyes who wanted to get a clear view of her savior.

Dear god, he was what you would call perfection. His features were so sharp and incredibly beautiful. She was almost afraid to touch him... Afraid that she had died and went to heaven. At the sound of his voice, she had to blink a few times to process what he had told her. Vampires? So, he was a human that had saved her? God, her head was taking in so much right now... And his touch wasn't making it easier for her. We? There were more of /him/? She wanted to look for the others, and tell them thanks, even if she didn't have to. Weakly nodding her head, she weakly broke away from his hold and numbly searched for her sweater. As she reached for it, she slowly cradled the soft fabric in her arms and hugged it close to her chest as she looked around. Those vampires... They were gone? Forcing herself to stand up straight, she ignored the shot of pain that suddenly launched down towards her legs and looked over at his feet. "Thank you..." she whispered quietly, almost not finding the voice to speak after the little event she went through. Hearing her phone go off, she quickly fiddled around with her sweater until she made contact with the outline of her pocket. Shakily grabbing her phone, she read the text message that was left and quickly shook her head. The patient had went into surgery already, without the vaccine. And as always, she forgot about her own health and quickly turned off the phone and weakly tossed her torn jacket on the ground. There was no use for it anymore.

Turning towards the unknown male, she bowed her head repeatedly in respect as continued to mumble how thankful she was since he saved her. "Can you tell the others I said thank you..." Her words were nearly jumbled together as she took a few steps away from him. It wasn't because of fear, and it wasn't because of hatred either... She was just confused and clueless on what she had to do. On if it was safe for her to go home... She had all of these questions surrounding her mind, but not a answer in sight. "I don't know how... To repay you... Mianhae."

Gazing at her stunningly beautiful face for a human for a moment, the Fallen was quite blown away by her beauty even with the blood and dirt sticking to it, blinking several times to compose himself again. Reaching out a hand to brush several of the strands of hair away from her face and be able to search her eyes with his keenly dark ones, Seunghyun had the manners not to search her mind... He really didn't like doing that unless it was someone he felt was a threat to him.
Keeping his voice soothingly low and at a murmur, the Fallen spoke to her, "Hey... Can you stand? We won't hurt you... The Vampires are gone," offering the girl a comforting smile as the pad of his thumb traced gentle circular patterns on her high cheek bones that seemed to be made of porcelain. A fine beautiful doll... Even as he retracted his hand away from her face, dotted slightly with droplets of blood, Seunghyun continued to squat down at her level and wait for her to recover herself from that traumatic experience as his men waited nearby, having done their job...

Having to deal with certain annoying human landlords is exasperating enough... But when you have to threaten them already and then come back to only have another rejection in the face, that is when it borders onto irritating. Especially when you have to bring several of your best soldiers along with you to truly convince the human that you WILL kill him if the payment is not given.
That was the situation Seunghyun had to face with a certain man whom he had just dealt with a couple nights before with a ice dagger in the shoulder... But that didn't seem to faze the man at all tonight when he came back. Somehow, he had this utter and complete fate in the Vampires living in his building that they would protect him even though the Don knew exactly that they were what they were: cowards in heart. The Fallen wouldn't have even dealt with this man for long if it wasn't for the fact that the area was so crucial for his expansion plan... In the grey area between the Fallen and Vampire territory, the building that he controlled was only one of the many that were scattered in critical points. And if the Fallen were able to control all of them... Then the likely that their territory would expand was much more likely now.
Good thing though that it was taken care of already once the landlord had realized that what the threats were... They were true. He WAS going to killed if the protection payment was not met. But it had taken several hours of first persuasion and then outright threatening that reduced the human to a mere quivering ball of fear when the Fallen left.
Late at night it was, Seunghyun and his company were on their way back to the Fallen territory with the window open, enjoying the night air as the car zoomed through the area... But even with his eyes closed, the Don still kept his other senses on high alert as they were still in dangerous territory... And it seemed as if he was right tonight. A high-pitched scream that rang out in the area instantly made him jolt upright and call out to his driver, "Stop the car!" already out of it even before the vehicle had truly come to a stop. The two guards accompanying him too felt that something was wrong and instantly bounded out after their leader...
Dark eyes narrowed in the darkness, Seunghyun was gladly able to see the horrifying scene half-hidden behind the plants... A girl was about to get by several Vampires, the glint off their fangs making it obvious that they were and the fact that no sane human would be wandering outside now. So why was SHE outside? Whatever the reason was, the Fallen had a duty to fulfill as the police chief and the fact that there was no way he was going to let those bloodsuckers steal another life and grow any stronger...
With his enhanced speed, most of them never knew what even hit them until it was too late. The only one that saw the Fallens rushing in only had enough time to widen his eyes before Seunghyun had tackled the leader down, the one that was currently taking off his pants to her there. Feeling the Vampire crash onto the ground, the Don saw his other two men also grapple with the remaining beings, pulling them off of the girl. These were his best men... Equipped with the best elemental powers for dealing with Vampires.
Still obvious of the fact that the human girl wouldn't take too kindly to seeing Vampire killed in front of her even as the Vampire underneath him struggled to do anything, Seunghyun made the mental point to his men to drag the Vampires out of her sight... But for him, at least his back was to her and with the quickest and most efficient motion he could do, a small ice dagger was procured and then found its way into the shoulder and heart of the being under him. With a quiet gurgle, the Vampire began to succumb to the loss of massive amount of blood but after the Fallen had dragged him upright to prevent a pooling of blood on the ground.
Seeing a brilliant flash of light from one of his men and a wave of heat from the other as they blinded and burned their victims respectively, Seunghyun threw the dying body of the leader to his Fire-elemental Fallen to immolate and reduce to a pile of ashes that would only be the trace left of these disgusting being. At least for himself, he had managed not to get any blood on his clothes or the ground, thanks to his quick actions...
Vampires done for, now the Don turned towards the girl who had alerted them towards the annihilation of those creatures... Still flat on the ground and with her clothes half-ripped off, the blood leaking out of her forehead obvious. Pity that the leeches had already ripped her sweater, leaving the human simply in a tank top and leggings... Almost instantly with his gentlemanly instincts kicking in, Seunghyun crouched down towards her and helped her up while another flash of light and then a wave of heat washed over his back that signaled the death of all of the Vampires that had attacked her.

@T.O.P Preparing herself on the outcomes that were to come, she gave herself a good leap before she began running as fast as her heels would let her. Screaming furiously and loudly for help, her eyes caught sight of a car driving down the street, only causing her to react more desperately. Without a care, she changed directions and began running towards the street. The only thing that was blocking her way was a few trees and some bushes. She continued to beg herself not to look backwards, not to fall and let this person pass her by. Just as she outstretched her hand to reach towards the tree, her vision shifted along with her body. And before she knew it, a blow to her stomach could be felt. Her body skidded across the grass, knocking ( pushing ) her further from her freedom. Laid out sideways, she gasped for air as she looked at the shadows now crowding near her once again. Why was this happening to her? Trying to stop the spinning going around in her head, she closed her eyes momentarily and pressed her fingertips against her temple--that was dripping with some weird liquid... But she began to realize what that "weird" was... As she pulled her fingers back and opened her eyes, she caught sight of her crimson droplets now making contact with the palm of her hand. Mixtures between laughter and hisses could be heard as they circled her body once more. Mustering up the little strength she had left, she was able to push herself flat on her stomach as her elbows supported her. Her hair was sprawled out all over her face and back as she tried to slowly crawl towards freedom. Their laughs grew louder, making her heart clench out in sheer anger and sadness. Was this how she was going to go down? All those years of struggles she had to deal with on her own, was now slipping down the drain.

At the feel of one of their hands touching her legs, she tried her hardest to scream, but it pained her. It felt as if she was being inside a black hole, whenever she moved and tried to get her body to listen to her commands. Her leggings were slightly torn, but the guy that was holding her lower portion down wasn't making it any better. A crackling laugh was heard again as another pair of hands went to pull at her sweater. "Hold her down boys, I'll teach her a lesson." Her eyes soon widen at the breeze hitting against her now revealed flesh. She could still feel her undergarments covering her skin, but if they kept it up, they would be teared to treads like the rest of her clothing. Grasping onto her tanktop, she shook her head weakly, wanting it to stay on her body, but the man that was holding her upper body turned her head and pushed it flat against the ground, so that one side of her cheek was buried against the grass just to make her watch their leader quickly get rid of his belt. She could already feel the tears brimming close to her eyes as she struggled and shook her head as much as she could. They couldn't, he shouldn't... This thing--was going to take away the only thing she could call her own, something that was precious to her. This was a let down to not only herself, but everybody she worked for or worked passed. All of her accomplishments were soon shattering, and there was nothing she could do...

@T.O.P Knowing the dangers of what was to come if she were to walk out alone in the streets of Seoul was not new to this young female. But it was obviously just a myth, such things like that wouldn't and couldn't exist, could they? And even if it were to take place, she could hold her own ( so she tells herself ). The reason why she was heading out so late was due to one of her favorite patients falling ill ( once again ) and needing a certain vaccine at one of the most talked about hospitals in the world. They were known as the best around, and there was nothing shady or wrong about the place. Reaching for her thin sweater, she slipped it on and happily plugged her ears with some headphones. Escaping her apartment complex, she was greeted by a few pecks of rain as she began making her way down the small and lonely journey to the hospital.

Luckily for her, the hospital was a few blocks away from her complex home, giving her a good excuse to have some sort of exercise since the only ride she could afford was the local bus. And due to certain complications and the transport system, she wasn't granted the proper use of being able to go anywhere she desired UNLESS she had her own ride. It was dark and chilly, something that she was expecting from the moment she got dressed to leave. Would she make it in time? This is her second trip to the hospital, so she was a bit familiar on where to go, and who to talk to-- it was just the issue on never getting a clear answer on when they closed. As the back of the hospital was coming into view ( due to where she lived ) so were a few other living souls.

Were they in gangs? She had no clue, but the street light shining on one of the "members" face gave her the chills. He held this icy yet sicken smirk as he eyed her down. Maybe he wasn't looking at her--maybe, maybe he was admiring her fashion sense for such a weather such as tonight. As she walk through the little group that was once filled with laughter, she held her hands closer to her chest as the volume began to slowly decrease, leaving nothing but the sound of her heels clicking against the pavement. As she crossed the street and into the parking lot, she took in a deep breath, not realizing she was holding it the entire time. But her thoughts were soon ruined as her headphones were literally yanked from her head and her ears. Letting out a startle gasp, she quickly turned around to complain, but there was NO ONE there. Thinking that she might have gone mad, she quickly turned around and would have took off running if a built and muscular chest didn't stand in her way. Letting out a quiet mumble, she felt herself stumbling backwards a few times before she finally sought out balance. Her eyes landed on the three males closing in on her. They were the exact males who were holding their conversation loudly not too long ago. Quickly diverting her eyes, she looked at the ground as she stood still--completely frozen. "Well, would you look at what we got here," came a cold and chilling voice. Trying hard not to display her fear, Jiyeon continued to watch the "leader" ( she suppose ) feet as he circled her. "Looks like one of the humans have the guts to come out late, a fine one at that." He spoke the last words ually, which instantly made her flinch in disgust. Humans? Wasn't he a human himself? "What's your name?" He trailed off, casually swaying his way over towards her as if she was a prey, which in this case, she was. 'You don't have to say anything, you don't have to tell him...' she continued to reassure herself in her mind. "Didn't you hear me speaking, ?" Her eyes widen as she heard him speak so negatively of her. Shooting him a glare, she was quick to defend herself until he felt something cold and relatively hard against her cheek. It took a few moments later until the slight stingy and burning sensation began to build up and heat up towards her cheeks was when she realized what he had done. He slapped her? It wasn't just any type of slap either. She knew that from how hard he hit her, it was going to leave a bruise. From the looks of things, she could already feel that this wasn't going to end so well if she didn't do anything. "ing humans think they can do and say anything as they please," he laughed out loud as if she told the most hilarious joke of all time. Holding her cheek, she ignore the swelling that was beginning to take place, and looked at the slight opening that he made as he went to go give one of his "boys" a high five. Maybe someone would hear her? Maybe someone would see her?

A light chuckle escaped from Seunghyun as a smirk was on his face. It was a good thing that he didn't reveal his true identity to her, or else the situation might be much more different... The sarcasm, he missed people saying that to him. As a Don and the police chief, not many were willing to risk his wrath for a cynical joke like that. And with the statement of her name, the Fallen couldn't help but already know more about her from what was on her mind... Not that he was going to state that he knew such, but very interesting...
"CL, hm? I'm not much of a blogger, sorry," he said casually in quite good nature. Hands were shoved deep in his pockets after Seunghyun flipped his hood up, no need to just give himself away. The thing was that they were in the unknown area between Fallen and Vampire territories, and one could meet almost anyone here. The feeling of relief that passed in the human's mind amused him though, ironically, she thought she would be losing him... When now, the Don knew exactly where her studio was.
So once they stopped at a corner, the Fallen then chuckled lightly again, nodding as he waited for the cross light to allow him to walk. "I suppose so, and why wouldn't I keep you company?" he said, eyes glittering with amusement as he turned his head towards her. Seeing that she was thinking about a longer route only made it easier for Seunghyun to know how to get to her studio now...
About to step off the curb and walk across the street, the Fallen decided that... It would be interesting to see how she would react to a bit of supernatural, knowing that it wasn't a human who had walked and /protected/ her all the way here. "Have a good night, Lee Chaerin," he called back quietly, a smile curled on his lips as the Don disappeared into the darkness of the shadow under the high-rise buildings as he walked away...

Chaerin fell into step beside Seunghyun, listening to him as he told her his name. A soft scoff left her lips and she rolled her eyes. "I'm flattered that you think I'm pretty mister." She said, sarcasm dripping from her words. "Should I feel special that you're even telling me this much about you?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as she brushed a lock of blonde hair behind her ear.
"And my name's CL. Maybe you've heard about my blog. It's pretty popular around these parts apparently." She her lips, looking around as the scenery changed to higher buildings, and busier streets. A soft sigh of relief passed through her lips as she realized how close they were to her studio; however, the blonde wasn't entirely sure that she wanted this guy to know where she lived. "Well, I guess this is where we part ways." She said lightly, stopping as she prepared to turn one of the corners to take an alternate route to her studio. It was longer, but it was convenient when you didn't want anyone to know where you worked. "Thanks for keeping me company I guess, TOP."

Seunghyun couldn't help but having the smirk on his face grow even larger when he could hear her shout back at him... So, this human had spunk even for one lurking in the night, hm? Interesting much... And using his ears that made up for the deficient of light in the alley as the Don emerged out onto the street, he could hear her trying to catch up with him... Good, good.
At least if she was following him, the Fallen could keep an eye on her... Maybe he might not have a conscience, but a voice in the back of his mind keep nagging him about something... About the fact that there WAS the chance that this girl could have seen him threaten the landlord? There wasn't a chance that the man would go and try to report it in... And ironically, it would only be meeting Seunghyun even earlier if he decided to go to the police.
The question that the human presented him, it only made Seunghyun chuckle quietly again.. Some guts this one had, but was it because she had a good reason to be so risky with a being like him? Letting his dark eyes, pinpointed with a brilliant look in it at her, he had a slight smirk on his face as he continued to walk on without an answer... Hand shoved into his pockets as the Fallen strode on without speaking, simply breathing in the night air. The only type of air that he could freely take in. His time of the day... Sadly...
Suddenly out of all the silence, that was when Seunghyun then answered, in a quite casual way as if they had known each other for a while, "You may call me TOP. Pretty as you are, I don't just let people know my real name." Scoffing a bit, he quickened his pace a bit, shooting back a question of his, "And what about your's?" other senses on alert for anyone who dared to ambush the Don and his unwilling companion...
CL [A] 11 years ago
Chaerin couldn't help but to cower back a bit as she took notice of the smirk on the man's features. A slight frown tugged at her pretty pink lips as she focused her gaze at his face, memorizing each and every one of his striking features. Upon hearing his remark, the blonde couldn't help but to scoff and roll her eyes. "It's not safe for anyone to be out at this hour, mister. But you don't see that stopping them from getting to where they need to go." Adjusting the strap on her bag, she watched with wary eyes as he turned away, walking in the direction she needed to go.
"..." she swore under her breath. She really had to walk with this creep? With a soft click of her tongue, she followed after Seunghyun. "Hey, what's your name?" She asked boldly, giving the man another once over, observing that he towered over her. "I mean you can't just say things like that and not even tell me who you are." Her tone was casual and even, as if she hadn't even just witnessed this guy stabbing somebody. But he didn't know that she'd seen him, right?
Already, the gears in her head were turning and crafting the words that she would soon type to document her bizzare experience tonight. She knew exactly what she wanted to say; however, something was nagging at her.
She felt like she had seen this man's face before.

Tonight was NOT a good night for Seunghyun. More than usual, thanks to the persistent "no's" of one of the landlords in the area that held several Vampires living in his building... So much that the Don himself had to go and meet with this man. Usually, if someone were to refuse the people he sent out first, they would just threaten the target with some blackmail and handy threats... Seemed to not work in this case. So here the Fallen was, having to confront the overweight man...
At first, polite words were exchanged between them, but once it got to the business of protection for him from the Angels, then the man literally started to yell and demand Seunghyun to leave. But the Don wasn't going anywhere as he simply sat there with a smug smile, racking through the man's mind until he found the reason why... He had family who were Vampires. How interesting... Knowing that this wouldn't end in any way else than a warning blow, he calmly asked the man to step outside... Which he did. What a foolish man...
Outside, that was when Seunghyun really began to amp up with the persuasion even if he had no powers of such. One would have thought he did from the skillful use of words... But the landlord remained stubborn. So intent on getting the man to calm down that the Fallen didn't notice the presence of a female watching them until with a exasperated sigh, it was less than a second before a jagged ice dagger materialized in his hand and was stabbed through the man's shoulder.
The shoulder muscles that was (symbolic of where his wings were once attached), quickly covering the man's mouth before a scream could escape. From what he knew, pain was an EXCELLENT teacher and the pain-filled look on the landlord's face was evident of that. Leaning in, Seunghyun whispered words, telling the man that he expected the papers within 3 days or else... It wouldn't just be his shoulder severed. Yanking out the now dripping knife, a faint sound now reached the Fallen's ear. The sound of someone near...
Worry instantly then flooded his system as the look on his face grew more fierce and impassive... Had they seen what had went on? Granted that the man was now sliding the down the wall and groaning quietly as the knife vaporized from his hand, Seunghyun quietly melted down into more of a hunter pose... Remnants of his old angelic days hunting down the evil of the world. His dark eyes were now used to the shadows of the alley as they instantly pinpointed the sight of bright blonde hair seeming as if she was trying to busy herself... Luckily for him, the darkness hid him enough to have a slight smirk curl onto his features as the Fallen heard her pretend to call up to one of the windows.
While her back was turned, that was when the Don emerged from the shadows, seeming almost like he was one of it, standing near her so that the female turned, she saw Seunghyun standing there with arms crossed and head cocked to one side as if questioning why she was out so late. "The streets are not safe for a girl like you..." he spoke quietly, intense gaze boring down into her eyes as he chuckled quietly, "Better get home before something happens."
He could tell that this was no Demon, Vampire or Fallen by their respective signs... No feeling of creepiness, no fangs and definitely no aura of angelic holiness around her. Just a normal human out on a late night... Doing what? "Survive the night to see the daylight..." he said quietly and as a warning as the Don began to turn away from her, a chuckle left behind... Wondering if she WOULD follow him or not. Didn't look like the girl belonged to any of these apartment, not even having to pry into her mind...

Chaerin walked through the front doors of the hospital, slipping the small paper bag containing her medicine into her purse. "Aish, this cold is so bothersome. Especially when I have a photoshoot tomorrow." The blonde woman sighed as she crossed the street, listening to the dull sound of her combat boots hitting the pavement. She glanced down at her watch, seeing that it was getting rather late. The sun had already set, and under normal circumstances, the young woman would've felt uncomfortable being out so late; however, she was currently in the territory of the vampires, and there was always an eye on her whenever she was here, thanks to the demands of her overprotective father.
She turned the corner that marked the end of the safe area and the beginning of the gray area that the Fallen always seemed to be fighting the Vampires for. She didn't like it, but it was necessary that she travel through this part of the city in order to get to her Studio. There was no way in hell that she would be going home tonight, especially since the East Side was so far away.
The silence was unnerving, so the girl began to hum an aimless tune to herself; however, she quickly fell silent again as she heard shouting from one of the alleyways up close. Pausing for a moment, Chaerin pulled out her phone, and switched to the emergency dialer mode before pressing herself against he wall and peeking around the corner to see a man in a a black leather jacket talking to a man in a suit. They seemed to be arguing. She wasn't really able to understand most of what was going on, but she could pick up the words 'territory', 'family', and 'protection'.
Her eyebrow arched, and the blonde tried to get closer as her curiosity got the better of her. However, she watched an ice shard pierce through the body of the man in the suit causing her face to drain of all color and to be open in a silent scream. Pressing herself against the wall again, the girl closed her eyes as she tried to figure out something to make herself look busy. She heard shuffling, then footsteps approaching. Going back over to the nearest doorway so that it appeared she had just come from there, CL looked up and shouted. "Yeah, well I don't need you anyway!" She turned and found herself face to face with the man in the leather jacket.

((Sorry I never got the notif for this post. sobs))

Yoseob's eyes closed as he felt the boy disintergrate in his arms, leaving him alone once more in the room. "You can run, but you can't hide from me little lapdog." He sighed as he grinned. His lips were stained crimson from the blood of the younger as he picked up the cup of fresh squeezed blood, raising it to his lips and drinking that as well. It wasn't enough to quench the burning thirst in his throat. It had been much too long since he had last fed.
Picking up another piece of another one of his body guards, Yoseob sunk his teeth into the dead flesh, draining it of all fluids. By now his eyes had turned so red that they were almost black as his sheer bloodlust took over. Draining the rest of the bodies in the room, Yoseob pushed the code blue button at the side of the bed that was now filled with ashes, leaning against the wall as he waited for the doctors and nurses to come flooding into the room. And so they did, only to get a door slammed behind them, sealing their fate.
Screams bounced through the halls of the hospital wing, as well as chilling, inhumane laughter as the don indulged in the blood of the living for the fist time in months.
Ren 11 years ago
Ren could feel the tension in the room skyrocket and he realized his second mistake of the day. Blood. Of course it was a stupid idea to fill a room that a Vampire was in with the crimson liquid. To his credit, there really wasn't any other ways to kill the men with the guns, at least with his powers. It was a very messy job.
"Back in kind? You already murdered one of our own while he was defenseless. Please don't insult my kind enough to say that a few worthless humans are weighed more than a Fallen Angel."
He said, trying to distract the other so he could make a run for the window that beckoned freedom. Sure, it was barred, but sunlight streamed through the window, casting a shadow that he could work with.
However, he had no time to escape, as the Vampire suddenly have him, bruising his pale skin with a crushing embrace as his scarf managed to slip off onto the floor. It was as if time was frozen for a split second, and the Fallen felt true fear for one of the rare few times in his life. With good reason, as Ren only had time for his eyes to widen before fangs had plunged into his skin.
His head fell back as his mouth opened in a silent scream, body tensing immediately. It wasn't just the blinding, intense pain. His body had a higher imbalance between light and dark than other Fallen, and so he had to struggle to keep from losing his mind. Slowly, he was able to will himself to disintegrate, leaving Yoseob holding onto nothing as he made his escape, jumping from shadow to shadow until he materialized a few blocks away, immediately collapsing in the dark alley as his body started shaking and convulsing violently.
[[Your post, then I'll start a time skip in another room?]]
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
Yoseob's brow arched when he realized that the boy somehow had control over shadows. He had never seen such powers before in a fallen angel, and in the back of his mind he made note of the fact that Ren must've been a special case. His attention was grabbed by the sounds of gunshots, and laughter. Turning his head towards the source of the noise, Yoseob found himself greeted by carnage. The scent of blood filled the room, causing the vampire's throat to burn, and his eyes to turn a bloody crimson color.

"Ah yes of course, I can't have you missing a test now can I?" The don rolled his eyes and reached down to pull the heart out of one of the carcasses, not even flinching at the crimson that stained his porcelain skin. "Oh and Ren? Do keep in mind that I will pay you back for this in kind." He said plainly as he allowed the contents of the muscle to dip into one of the plastic cups that was in the hospital room. "I would kill you here and now in normal circumstances. However, this time I think I'll send a little message to your superior." That being said, He dropped the drained heart onto the group, listening as it landed with a quiet squish. In the blink of an eye, he was standing with his arms wrapped tightly around Ren, squeezing to the point of leaving bruises. Fangs traced up delicate pale flesh before sinking in. Yoseob groaned softly at the pure, concentrated taste of the angel's blood. He'd never tasted such a thing before, and it was absolutely divine.

Ren felt a hint of satisfaction at the other's irritation, even though he knew it would only get him into more trouble in the end. It was nice to be able to get under the skin of the Vampire's leader, if only a little bit. Besides, it wasn't like he really represented his faction like a Boss would. No, he was just the second in command. Expendable, but also unnoticeable.
He couldn't resist the Vampire's powers of persuasion, especially with them that forceful and coming from a person who literally radiated power, however suppressed it may be. Ren cursed under his breath, approaching the other with his head down, looking like the ever obedient victim who had admitted defeat. But of course he wasn't. He may not represent the Fallen, but he sure was one, and the man had said things that his comrades would kill even a Don for. So, he'd just have to remind them how much they owed him, later.
"Mister, there's one thing about having me stand here." He said, looking up at the other with a disarmingly bright smile, once again one of his trademark fakes. "I'm standing in your shaodw."
As soon as he uttered those words, Ren literally melted into Yoseob's shadow, disappearing completely before the dark form stretched and shot towards the forms of the very bewildered humans. A few of the more impulsive tried to shoot him, but the bullets did nothing. After all, he was a shadow. Before they could effectively scatter, Ren suddenly appeared in the middle of them, wielding a black scythe. Zing. Zing. It sliced through the forms of the men, who started laughing in relief when they realized that the blade had gone right through them. However, moments later, their bodies started literally falling into pieces, which happened to coincide with the slashes in their shadows. Ren turned to the other, ignoring the bloody pieces of corpses around him and the splatters of blood on his hoodie and even in his hair.
"I'm sorry Mister, but I really have to go now. I have a test sixth period, you know?"

Yoseob rolled his eyes, irritation flashing across his features at the blonde's statement. "What am I going to do with you?" Yoseob reiterated Ren's statement, tongue grazing over one of his fangs absentmindedly. To be completely honest, the don hadn't really thought that far into it. "Well, I don't feel like killing you at the moment...I suppose a thorough beating and a warning will suffice. Come here." The vampire commanded, making sure that he would be obeyed. "I'd suggest you do as I say. I have a very short fuse." He warned, smiling charmingly as he pointed to the ground in front of his feet, as if calling for a dog.

"Mister," he said, blinking slightly, "It looks so weird when you switch like that. Like, really fake. Better luck next time?"
And then he slid into his normal poker face, not really making that much of a change since he hadn't bee smiling in the first place. Either way, the Don wouldn't have been able to tell, seeing as how his scarf was still on and hiding most of his face. Not that his hair wasn't a very distinct feature.
"But anyway, down to business. Obviously I'm probably not going to be let out of here any time soon. There's too many people for an ordinary person to take out singlehandedly, and breaking through a wall is not exactly ideal. Which begs the question," he tilted his head, asking in a completely serious voice that did not match his choice of words, "What are you going to do with me, Mister?"
