Docks

The place where all the boats are located. Terrible things happen here at night, and people are often found floating dead on the surface of the glassy water.

This place is owned by the demon, but through deals, the vampires have access to it also. This is where both races recieve their drugs for the trade.

@Ren { damn never got this, let me reply to it okay? }

"Quite the contrary. This game has only begun."
He muttered, throwing one last look over his shoulder at the mesmerizing flames that seemed almost alive with heat. They might get in trouble for that later, but Ren doubted that anyone would be able to explain what had taken out almost half of the dock in such a short amount of time. It would draw attention to them, all of them. Leaving was probably the second best idea at the moment, being cautious the first.
His fire user, the Joker, didn't seem to agree with that statement. Ren took the lead, glancing up and down and assessing the damage done to everyone. He himself had his clothes splattered with blood that mainly wasn't his own, as well as a few rips and cuts and maybe even a few shallow wounds, although the blonde had been trained to the point where he couldn't even sense the pain. Ventus and Terra didn't really look that bad; it had been the restraint around humans that was really holding them back. And the Joker... well, he certainly didn't look much worse for wear. Reckless. A dangerous thing, especially to a group.
"Assuming that another point of this mission was to get you lot to learn to work together, then I believe every member of this team has failed. No matter the reason, such as self preservation or contempt for your teamates, what happened tonight is unacceptable. In the future, it may cost the lives of others, and then you will live with their blood on your already filthy hands."
He reprimanded them, his voice free of the malice that would usually accompany his statement. The words should be enough; he saw no reason to agitate his team members more.
"Now, keeping that in mind, the target may be in here, along with some accomplices. Our intel tells us that this is a secure place for the supernatural, so feel free to let go of some restraint, short of destroying the building. And above all else, don't get separated into different rooms. Who knows what traps may have been set?"
With that, he casually opened the door to the old brick warehouse in front of them, barely having time to blink before he was pulled inside. Promptly, a muffled, choked scream could be heard, followed by Ren poking his head out the door with his eyebrow raised in amusement.
"Just so you know, there's a lot. Let's get to work, shall we?"

@Ren "I guess the game ends too quickly, and I was finally enjoying it." He chuckled into the earpiece as he stepped back and followed the orders given to him by the male. Seizing a good amount of fire on the Dock, having the mixture of black and orange flames decorate the enemies as Junhyung turned to the others. "I'm sure you all enjoyed your girly fun in the corner, while the men worked." He growled slightly at the other two whom were the ones whom lagged in this operation. "Its safe to get out now, it'll take a good three hours for the heat to die out." He confirmed as he wavered his palms a bit that showed a bit of steam that soon evaporated into the air; glancing back to the entrapped people-- creatures more like it. Shoving his hands in his pockets as he dug out his black fingerless gloves, knowing his touch would be too extreme to touch anyone or anything.

"Lets go before they use their brains and think of a plan." Cocking his head towards the exit that was down the stoned pavement of the Dock; the street lamps were all dimmed and low in light. Some flickering about, probably from the miniature fight that was existing just now. Stepping towards the dark ends, with his black clothing he was hard to pin point; only clue was his skin that was not covered up in the black fabrics. "Now, Ren. I think that went fabulous, a good workout for you and the other two here. Hm?" He mumbled, while using his long limbs to the advantage while he walked ahead of the others; why rush? Those creatures were trapped in a dark heat, one he made sure they wouldn't be able to escape until the time was up. But still he treaded down the pavement with the others following behind, seeing how the two seemed to murmur remarks about him. None to good, he could only blame his mouth and attitude at the moment. That was holding responsibility right now.

"I'm more worried about getting wet, the way you're swinging that fireball around."
He replied dryly, senses and reflexes engaged in fighting the target as well as many others that circled them both. Ren managed to land a direct blow and sent the man reeling back, his eyes snapping to where the rest of his team was. Joker was close enough for assistance, but the other two were being pushed further and further away. And the way things were going, they'd all run out of energy before this was over. Being able to just annihilate everything in their path was much easier, but the Fallen often represented the police department and an all out massacre would draw too much attention and bring up too many questions. So they all had to hold back, and unfortunately, control did not seem to be their strong point.
It was getting tricky for Ren because the shadows had tasted blood, and now were ravenous for more. They strained against his control, taking a toll on his mental strength, as his physical was already lacking. He had teammates to worry about this time. Losing control was not an option, because getting lectured and hated even more was just too bothersome to allow that to happen.
"Regroup at the end of the dock connected to the shore. Junhyun, don't burn the whole bridge down, okay? We can't pay for that."
He ordered, ducking just in time to avoid another swing at his head. Really, this was getting annoying, as a shadowy hand shot up and returned the favor for the assailant. Ren concentrated on leading them towards the sea, pulling away from the others at his own risk. Ventus and Terra seemed to be doing better, left with only two or three to deal with apiece, while Joker... His flame. It was black. Ren hadn't seen something like that in a while, and he always found that color to be the most interesting out of all of the flames. But there was no time to dawdle on that, managing to lead most of the attackers to the edge of the dock before grabbing the target and melting them both into the shadows, jumping all the way down to the other end of the wooden bridge. He waited the few seconds before Joker and Terra was there, having no fears about Ventus as he had already assured the blonde that he'd be able to make it off.
"Burn the wood, for at least a few yards. At least from the humans, it will buy us some time."

@Ren At the sight of the visible humans, Ren's words echoing in his ears as to not kill much; but to survive. A give or take situation, and his eyes layered upon the ocean as he refused all escape for any strays that escaped through Rens' blind sight. Junhyung glanced seeing the two fallen more further, a curse muttered under his breath; the imbeciles were chickening out in the real deal after all. Focusing his attention on the male, Ren repeated to not kill; he'd leave that guy for the under boss whom knew what to do with that creature. Unlike the others, Junhyung headed forward; and as the bullets were piercing through the night air; whizzing about. Danger was just a word to him by now.

Seeing how the bullets were of metal, it took a huge amount of fire to wield each bullet into the form and shape. The same amount to melt them as well, his mind reckless at times but always ending in the right plan as he was about to show that reckless movement right now. Making his air swiftly in Ren's direction, using the metal bench as he climbed over the item and he gave thanks to God- ironic. That the other was short, and he jumped. Going over Ren as he conjured just the sufficient amount of heat that swept out his hands. He growled in frustration as the humans' were in the way; with his heat snapping onto the wooden planks that held the dock up above the ocean.

Like a surprise attack, he entrapped the others; kicking the man Ren needed towards him. Hoping the other could handle it from there; while his eyes focused on the others. "How about a little game, hm?" He smirked devilishly at the others; as the color of his fire changed to match the mood of his attitude; a striking black. The only color he could conjure, but it was enough for him. Black flames soon began to spread over the wooden bridge on the Dock as Junhyung stepped back. Careful of the waters below him, the boards were old and easily could give out; he just needed the half that the others were on. And maybe a good amount of oil as well.

Muttering into the mic, "Do what you have to do with the guy; but you better be breathing at the end of this." He voiced, a odd attempt to carve a joke at this time; so like him and making him suit the name Joker.
Ren 11 years ago
Ren continued studying him. Already, he liked Junhyung, or the Joker he supposed, more than the rest of them. Well, actually, it could be described more as respect, at least in terms of ability. His personality itself was getting on his nerves, when the Underboss himself would have much preferred staying home and sitting on the railing of his balcony outside his apartment. The knowledge that he was practically babysitting a group of misfits was not doing anything to improve his mood, and it would probably stay that way.
He himself had noticed the shift, or rather, the lack of it. Everything was still, frozen. An unusual occurrence, especially at the docks. For a moment, Ren briefly wondered if this was going to become something much bigger than anyone had accounted for.
"Well, if it is one, that just proves that bribing one's information source may not be the best way to go."
He said, almost with a bored tone, eyes flickering back and forth from underneath his hood. Nothing out of the ordinary was approaching, which was more unnerving than comforting. He cursed under his breath. There was a reason that the Vampire was hiding out by the ocean. Waves. Spray. Mist. Vampires could mist travel, which meant they could literally pop up in the middle of the circle in an instant. Suddenly, there was something, and Ren looked out towards the ocean to see a bunch of forms approaching, not even bothering to be stealthy. Judging from their numbers, it meant they were extremely cocky and arrogant, which meant... humans.
"Let me remind you that the Boss wanted as few mortal casualties as possible. That being said," several more forms appearing suddenly out of the mist, "I think it's safe to say that survival is your priority here. Don't lose your head, and don't die. That being said, let's get this over with, folks."
He said in an absolutely bored tone, walking over to the hostile group and exchanging a few words with their leader, who happened to be the target. After getting absolutely nowhere and receiving several threats of torture and other "unknown horrors," Ren just rolled his eyes the way only people his age could pull off, as the shadows started pulling off of everyone near him and bubbling around his feet. The first attack came, a swing to his head with a bat by a hasty human. The shadows surged forward and literally grabbed him, throwing him through the line of his comrades, who quickly dodged his flying form. Ren assumed that his team would take that as a cue to attack, barking out orders. Terra and Ventus took the left and right flank, while Joker was in charge of keeping anyone from escaping through the ocean. Inevitably, their target would probably be one of those people while Ren was kept busy by about a score of humans and Vampires alike trying to kill him.
"Don't kill him."
He ordered into his mic, bullets whizzing by and being absorbed into the shadows, who then started surging forward and attacking anyone in their way, mauling them until Ren commanded them to stop. As expected, Terra and Ventus made sure to keep their distance, which made things much more complicated. The more they were spread out, the less teamwork they had, and the easier it would be to take out each of them one by one. From the looks of things, the two Fallen were hard pressed and would go down first. That couldn't happen. Ren silently hoped that Joker could get the unspoken message, as he was too busy dodging point blank bullets to articulate his command.

@Ren Hearing talk about the small device, he retrieved it out from the deep pockets of his; inserting it discreetly in his left ear. Allowing the slightly length of his hair hide it; his hair had grown just a good inch and was enough to seem natural and hide that device. Crossing his arms, his eyes fell on each person; taking in a profile of his own and deciding what they were through his eyes.

Attention quickly snapped towards Ren, realizing the other spoke about their elements. Junhyung didn't miss how the two flinched at the mention of shadows. He stayed stoic. "Fire, just call me-" he looked at each male before continuing. "Joker." Many would find the name odd, but who was he to judge; he was supernatural and banished from the Heavens. Junhyung disliked it when many people knew his name, he had in fact knew Ren had known his real name; but the others didn't. So Joker was set, and printed. Turning his black eyes on the others, "Now if you two girlies would stop gossiping, maybe you could sense the change in wind." He hissed, wondering if it was just him or was it odd how the air grew more colder. Or was it the atmosphere around them, either way something was close. And soon company would join the group with a very surprised catch to find the fallen' grouped.

Pausing his breathing, he stretched his hearing afar; seeing if he could catching anything. A twig snap or brush of leaves; something. But all he heard was the waves of ocean, the whispers of the chilly wind; it was too quiet. "This better not be an ambush." He breathed.

Ren arched an eyebrow almost imperceptibly beneath his blonde bangs, studying the newcomer carefully. He was starting to figure out exactly why they had this many people working together on a relatively easy case, at least for him, who could accomplish it smoothly by himself. Mentally, he went over the files of the people on his team, him being assigned as leader because he outranked them all. Of course. All of them were trouble cases, one way or another, and it usually involved refusing to cooperate or work with others. That damn TOP must have thought it out carefully, which was just like him. Alone, there was no way the other three could accomplish the mission. They would have to work together, and if that failed, then Ren would just have to clean it up. The Underboss sighed, before gesturing for the others to gather around in a circle.
"As you should have already received in the mission details, we're supposed to apprehend the target and bring him in for interrogation, as well as any accomplices he may have. The four of us are supposed to work together, since all the information we have acquired leads to this entire general area. The target is someone that could be quite a handful in a battle, so do not confront him without backup. We'll each be observing some of the most likely locations, all within relative distance of each other. I'm assuming you brought your earpieces, so we'll be communicating by radio when possible. Now, as a preliminary measure, I'd like to know each of your elements from yourselves personally, as well as your names, or at least what we'll call you if you wish to remain incognito for this mission. If you didn't know already, I control shadows, and I go by Ren."
He noticed how those two flinched at the mention of his powers, as if they expected their shadows to jump out at them. Ren let out an inaudible sigh. That was just the way things were going to be, huh? The two who arrived first chose to use aliases, going under the names Terra and Ventus. It made sense, since their element was earth and wind, respectively. That could prove useful, as long as they knew how to control their powers. That just left the last one. Junhyung, was it?
Junhyung 11 years ago
@Ren A dark eyebrow rose as the muffled voice leered into his ears, a shake of his head gave the other a simple gesture. Not caring if he was later or not, "I'm here, end of case, right?" Junhyung spoke in his low, husky tone; hands tuckered into the baggy denim jeans he wore, as he was all decked out in black. Almost like a symbol on his shoulders, something visible to his eyes and all eyes; that he will always hold onto the way he was banished. More yet, how he was banished-- his own damn wrong doings. Eyes shifting to inspect the others that were approaching and vividly talking amongst themselves as if it was a hallway of gossip; he rolled his eyes in disbelief. Working with people was low, barely able to hold onto the fact he had to mingle upon humans. More working with his own kind, his fallen kind. Breathing in the air that settled, a slight scent of fish hung into his nostrils; settling in while he peered over the area. Eyes dark as night, black in many depths he followed those eerie sounds. Ones he had a sudden chill up his spine.

"Details once again on this meeting." Junhyung quoted the word 'meeting' as if it was a childish act; to him it was. Why would they group a handful amount of fallen' for this particular case? What is so special that it holds? Leaning against the wooden railings, the soft creak gave notice to how old the surroundings were; a good enough years seemed to have been gone in the wood. The cold air skinned his cheek, but he didn't feel the cold air as he noticed how the others hid under scarfs and jackets; unlike him. He wore a loose black v neck shirt; if its cold, it is cold and vice versa. One can't do about it, right? Plus the heat in his body conjured enough warmth for these nights.
Ren 11 years ago
Ren leaned against the weather beaten, old brick wall, staring out at the open sea that was deceptively calm for the kind of business that happened on her shore. But that was to be expected. Some things just would never feel, were never supposed to. He would know. It would have been nice to be able to ditch this mission altogether, but the lives of other Fallen could be put on the line and TOP would have his head if something happened to them.
The mission today was simple by their terms. Rumors had been circulating that there was a "suspicious man" hanging around this area. A little bit more money later, and it had been confirmed that this man was a wanted criminal. Not just any, though, a Vampire. Supposedly he could even be working with a few others of his kind, which was why tonight, there would be a team. Four or five Fallen, most of them lower ranked, since quantity over quality would work in this situation. Basically, they were supposed to intercept the Vampire and bring him in for questioning, along with any colleagues he may have. Much easier said than done, but being a supernatural made every job like this a hell of a lot easier.
He checked his watch, just as some movement caught his eye and he looked up. There came one, and two of the others, right on time. By now they were attracting some attention but shady deals were common around the area so the group was largely ignored. Ren gave the other two a curt nod in greeting, noting how they returned the gesture with some hostility. And why wouldn't they? The Fallen Underboss was young, even by their standards. To be lead by someone like him was probably a dent to their ego, if that mattered at all to him. There was probably another reason, though. Everyone, even his kind, avoided him, and for good reason at that.
Finally, five minutes later, the final member of the team showed up.
"You're late."
He said simply, looking at the other from underneath the shadow of the hood of his jacket, scarf around his neck and muffling his voice in the fabric.
