Nightclub

Welcome to the City's night club. Anything goes.

Jongup 11 years ago
The demon watched intruiged as the human girl slid out from under bed and stood on shaky legs. His red eyes which were still hidden by his sunglasses couldn't help but slowly rake over her slim body in the attractive red dress and high heels. /, she's hot./ Maybe Jongup could play around with this one a little bit.
He couldn't help but be amused as he watched the girl glance around the room with terrified eyes, and he couldn't help but feed off her horrified aura a little bit. It had been so long since he tasted fear he couldn't resist just trying it a little bit. If she were a man, Jongup probably would have killed him instantly, depending on what kind of man. But since she was a beautiful girl, Jongup tended to be softer with them instead. After all; Demons were hopeless romantics. Hopeless because no one ever wanted to be with them.

The Boss decided to let the girl struggle with the door, knowing that no human could open it their their bare hands. After a few struggles, he walked up to her and placed his hands gently over her's to stop the yanking. "Please, allow me," Jongup spoke softly as he laced their finger together to pull her hand off the handle. With his free hand, Jongup twisted the knob with ease and the door swung open to reveal the noise and movements of the club again.
"Here follow me," Jonguo closed the door behind him and took the pretty girl's hand. He led her to the dancer floor and pushed his way into the crowd, pulling the girl against him once he found a good spot. He looked around before leaning down and pressing his lips to her ear so he could be heard above the loud music. "I know what you saw back there was scarring and disturbing, and I'm sorry you had to see that. I'll explain everything later, I promise. But for now, let's get you out of here."
Using the hand that was pressed to the small of the girl's back he absorbed enough of her energy to render the girl unconscious. She collapsed against him and he picked her up swiftly in his strong arms, a small smirked danced across his lips. "Too much to drink," Jongup explained as people gave him looks as he walked by with the girl gathered in his arms.
Once he was out of the club; Jongup used his inhuman speed to reach his penthouse. Once he got inside he lay the girl on the couch and went to the kitchen to fetch a cloth with cold water. After he placed the cloth on her forehead, Jongup returned her stolen energy so she could wake up, a story ready formed in his head. He removed his shoes as he waited, and shed his leather jacket to reveal his tight fitting, black long sleeved shirt. After that he removed his sunglasses. Sighing, he concentrated to dim the glow as much as he could; the crimson red darking to a rich mahogany that looked like a deep brown.

(Should we move to his penthouse then?)

Thinking that her plan had been successful and accomplished, a small sigh of relief left her trembling lips. But that didn't stop the fear she was still feeling. As soon as she started to crawl out, all small little sparks of happiness was soon thrown away as she heard the creaking of one of the doors. Her eyes widen as her heart began to race in anticipation. No, that couldn't he him, right? Holding in her breath for the third time that night, she slowly lowered her hand towards the cool surface of the floor and listened to the footsteps invade the /once/silent room. 'Please don't find me, please don't find me...' she continued to plead in her mind as she caught a glimpse of the owner's shoes. Maybe he was inspecting the entire place? He wouldn't find her, he  shouldn't find her... She was doing so much better of being underneath this bed, than walking around like these dead corpse must have done.

As e inched closer, the pounding of her heart increased. With a sour and bitter expression, she watched as the covers began to shift slightly, until a fresh hand appeared flat on the floor. Watching as her opening soon became revealed, she slowly scooted away until she saw a face appeared. It was obvious that this wasn't the same boy or man she encountered not too long ago, but they were equally charming, if not, him being more handsome from what she could tell. It wasn't until she heard his voice call out to her was when she was positive he wasn't one of them. Even if she had this small feeling in her gut, she kicked it aside along with all her other doubts. Was she alright? No. She would surely press charges against the that led her into this death field. Trying to recover some sort of sanity and find her voice, she cleared briefly before nodding her head weakly. She wasn't alright, and it was evident in her face that she wasn't dealing with all of... This too well. But just for her sake and his own, she'll keep quiet.

Slowly removing herself from underneath the bed, she let out a small "excuse me" before quickly crawling a safe distance away. Gripping the bed for balance, her eyes trailed towards the mysterious male across from her. Just who was he? But speaking of who, what about these bodies? What about the "thing" that was already preying on his next victim? "W-We have to go," she stuttered nervously, as she looked around for any signs of the other creature. ' I want to go home..' she thought to herself almost brokenly as she held her body with her trembling arms. Right now was the time for regret to come rushing in, scolding and screaming at how foolish she was for coming to such a place. And god, the current event was scaring her to her sober state, making the pounding in her head increase. She didn't give a damn if she sounded desperate and afraid. Who in their right mind would be able to handle something as bizarre and life threatening as this? Turning her direction towards the handsome and mysterious stranger, she could only wonder where on earth he came from.... How he, out all of the people in the club could hear her all the way up here? Debating with the good and bad, she narrowed her eyes at the bodies and noticed they all had something messing... Shaking her head, she brushed away her fallen strands of hair and quickly made her way towards the entrance of the room. She couldn't stay here any longer, she wouldn't stay here any longer. And as she began to tug on the knob of the door, she failed to realize how ultimately heavy it was... But how can such a simple door be this incredibly heavy? Letting out a frustrated cry, she slammed her fist against the door repeatedly. Why was she always finding herself in familiar situations? It was as if she attracted danger; or worse, death. With a shudder and a shake of her head, she pulled on the door harder, using the little strength she had left to hopefully help her escape this chilling place.
Jongup 11 years ago
(If that guy was supposed to be Jongup I hope you don't mind that I make it someone else -.-')

A terrified, high pitched scream pierced the night and made its way right into Jongup's ears. The Demon's head snapped up; red eyes wide and searching, ears open and alert. Distress. Misery. Terror. It was his favourite thing. It called to him, lured him, and he dropped his fresh kill on the ground of the damp ally and stepped away. He whipped out his sunglasses and perched them perfectly on his nose, effectively hiding his crimson eyes, and he set out in the direction if the scream.
It sounded young, feminine, and horrified. Seems as if he was lucky tonight. His black, forked tongue flickered out between his jagged teeth as he tasted the air to zero in on what could quite possible he his new prey. With an evil grin he shoved his hands in his pockets and walked through the busy streets, feeding off the energy of humans that walked by. He found the place soon enough; a nightclub, and it was shrouded in fear. He could see the aura of terror surrounding the building. The booming of the bass could be heard as he neared the building, vibrating in his feet with every step. This club in particular, however, was notorious for it supernatural and demonic activity. It was a well know fact for any non-human being that if there was a place to do underground deals in, this was it.
He stepped inside; lights and music washing over him. Jongup nodded to the bouncer who was actually a Fallen Angel and smirked at the sour expression on the male's face. Oh how he loved his much he was hated. Being a demon already assures you that you will never be popular, but since he was not only a demon, but the Demon Boss, it just added to the dislike. Which, being a demon, he loved.
Ignoring all the energy giving humans, he zeroed in on that aura if fear that led him to the back of the club. He frowned as he approached the black door with purple light lazing from the cracks. This was where all the supernatural beings did their business, and their pleasure. Why is there that fear clouding the room beyond this door? Or more importantly; why was there a /live/ human in here? Jongup shrouded himself in glamour so that the human would be able to see his jagged teeth or forked tongue. They would still be able to see his red eyes though, and that's why he kept his sunglasses on.
The Boss opened the door; the rank smell of death hitting him in the face. He closed the door swiftly behind him after seeing the dead bodies littering the floor. /What is this? Someone doesn't know how to clean up?/ he thought and kicked the bodies out of his way, grimacing in disgust. The way he killed was so much more elegant and... cleaner than this. The second thing he noticed, which he found rather odd, was the the door leading to the other bedrooms were barricaded with piece of fur afire and whatnot. /What the ?/
Ignoring all of that Jongup turned his attention to the bed cover with the silken sheets. The bed was covered in fear, and he smirked as he slowly walked over to it, the stench of alcohol becoming clear as well. He paused as he reached the foot of the bed, grinning as he glanced down at the sheets that barely brushed the floor. Slowly as he could, he got onto his knees and gently drew back the the sheet to reveal the dark space underneath. He decided to play it cool and sweet for now; maybe pretend to be a human who assisted a non-human being, or perhaps a more gentler race, like a Fallen Angel or a Necromancer.
Slowly he place a hand on the floor and peeked underneath the mattress, instantly finding a pretty girl in a short red dress, scared out of her wits. Hiding his natural demon voice as well, which sounded like rusty metal being sharpened by a razor blade, he used his calm, sweet "human" voice instead.
"Hi there. You okay?" He asked with a small chuckle. Not long after greeting her however, he noticed the cross necklace she was clutching in her hands and he hid his hiss. He would have to avoid this if he didn't want to get caught.
Jiyeon 11 years ago
Quickly running towards it, she was greeted with a silky red curtain, as if it could lead into another dimension. Stepping inside, her ( thoughts ) were almost accurate, the only difference was a door greeted her instead. Cautiously wrapping her trembling hand around the doorknob, she gave it a quick twist before pulling it and looking for some sort of escape. But once again, she was greeted with something that was nowhere close to being pleasant. Was this perhaps the couple that did it? As she went to say sorry, she noticed that the guy ontop of the girl was the only one moving. "I'm sorry for interrupting..." she started, but trailed off as she saw the female's pale face; simply reminding her of the other dead bodies. Only getting a glance at half of the male's handsome features, she shook her head and took a step back. Swiftly closing the door and blocking it with what she could, she ran back to where she came from and shut the door, only to start blocking it with what she could. She was literally going to have a break down if she wasn't brought out of that room.  Making her way towards one of the windows, she cracked it wide open and let out a piercing scream as if she had fallen, before backing up. Now, looking for a place to hide, her eyes landed on the king size bed and the bodies covering it and the ground as well. Dropping to her knees, she gently pushed a few bodies aside and slid underneath the bed until she was fully covered. Surely the guy would think she left, right? Slowly placing a hand over , she closed her eyes and clutched her necklace close to her chest.

( For Jongup /can't tag rn. Also, I didn't know I wrote so much, sorry lol )

Did she really allow her co-workers to talk her into coming to such a place? Brushing a few strands of hair behind her ear as she looked at the grinding and hypnotizing bodies move against each other, she quickly disappeared towards the section her friends paid for. This place was everyones personal freedom... Her? Well, she didn't exactly belong. Slightly moving her body to the blasting music invading her ears, her hand would occasionally pull down the strapless red dress her friends decided to force her into. Looking down at her red heels, she made a face and turned her attention elsewhere. Tonight was suppose to be the night of relief, where she can make a few mistakes and sins while she down her drinks away. Although giving her alcohol wasn't exactly the best idea in the world, ( if you knew her past ) it knocked away all of her troubles for that moment. The demons she use to fight alone in her own heart would surely come back to haunt her again tonight, whenever she got home. And oh, the thoughts of being sober with a horrible hangover made her think more than twice about accepting the drink. But they used that old line, "you work so much, you deserve this." which resulted into her giving in ( once again ).

But surprisingly, the night wasn't too bad as she told herself it'd be. But as she went for her fifth drink, she could feel a tight clench occurring in her stomach... Passing it off as nothing, she quickly downed the drink and reached for another one until her  "friend" was quick to stop her as she let out a small laugh. "Are you alright? You don't look so fine... Come on, I'll take you to go get fresh air." She cooed quietly as she took Jiyeon's hand. Having a puzzled look on her face, Jiyeon shook her head and gently pulled her hand back weakly, although her steps were a bit off, due to the liquor she devoured so quickly without a care. After finding out that everyone now knew who she was, due to her father being known as one of the richest and fourth biggest CEO in the district, she couldn't tell who she could trust anymore. Her father wasn't pure at all. The "friend" that was pulling her hand was one of her father's coworkers. She found out a few days ago that he was doing side dealings with some of the other... beings that's been roaming around on the street late at night. She wanted him to know that he was just being played around with, and just being used for the supplies. He needed to know that, it was for fun, they would get the supplies anyway only because they didn't NEED him. They could get money, blood, and drugs anywhere they would like... She was just hoping that he wasn't messing with the wrong type of crowd.

While she was wrapped inside her crazy mind, the coworker was too busy dragging her into the back of the club. Finally pulling herself away, she looked up at her and took a deep breath after realizing they weren't going outside for some air. "Where... Are you taking me?" she asked quietly, trying to maintain balance in her steps. The girl laughed and took her hand, letting her watch as she continuously got denied information and was  led to the upper part of the club. The music was now growing faint to her ears, along with the view of other NORMAL bodies... "Where..." she screamed a bit louder until they stopped in front of a large black door. Looking down at the speck of purple light creeping from beneath the door, she wobbly turned around to leave, but was pushed inside the oddly smelling room. Just as she went to speak, the slamming if the door could be heard. Shouting and running back towards the door, she bowled up her fist and slammed them against the wooden material heavily, occasionally kicking and screaming. "Blame your father," the female shouted as she walked away from the door and went on to wherever she was needed. Running her fingers through her hair, Jiyeon slowly and weakly turned around, already feeling the chills running up her spine as she took a couple of steps forward. Something wasn't right... What the hell? Clasping a hand over , she looked down at the bodies spread out all over the floor. Both males and females, some while the others were fully clothed could be seen. Drastically shaking her head, she caught a glimpse of their pale faces and how drained they looked.
Quickly grasping her purified ( cross ) necklace, she closed her eyes and took a couple more steps forward. Maybe there was a window she could escape from? God, please don't let this happen to her... As she looked around the room ( like ) place, she failed to realize another walk space near the closet. And once her eyes landed on it, the /hope/ that had left her system was returning once more.

Seated there among the back of the wall, Seunghyun seemed to have the perfect view to the entire scene, whether he liked it or not. Forced to keep his eyes open from the pain, the Fallen couldn't help but more or less helpless in his state as he watched his second in command rise from the position he was in and almost literally rip apart the Vampire Leader with his shadows. Almost, not quite killing him it seems, the Don having a rueful smile on his face. If Ren had really wanted to, the death of Yoseob wouldn't have been out of his range...
The deathly glare that the Underboss shot him didn't go unnoticed by Seunghyun though, meeting the Fallen maddened eyes with his own cool dark ones. The lust of battle had already faded and even between them, no words were exchanged...
When the building collapsed soon after, the Don was luckily positioned next to some crates that saved him front the impact, hardly caring how the Vampire Leader was doing. Seemed like Yoseob was in worse for the wear too as those words that were given to Seunghyun was simply met with an intense stare. Getting out was easy enough, but judging from the blood seeping through the makeshift wrapping, it didn't seem as if his injuries would be so easy to fix... Moving slowly away from the rubble and into the darkness of night.
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
As soon as Yoseob's skin was lacerated, it healed up. However, this quick healing did nothing against the blood that he was losing. The assault of the shadows came much too quickly for the vampire's body to react to, and thus the vampire ended up losing massive amounts of blood, his throat beginning to burn with utter need for the fluid to be restored.
With a cold glare directed at the Don of the Fallen, the vampire slowly sat up, a deep growl ripping from his throat as pain racked through his body, some of the more freshly sealed wounds tearing open again. "This will not be forgotten." He warned, gathering up enough strength to mist travel to the door before he allowed himself to limp towards the club, ready to lure a few idiots into satisfying his blood lust for the night.
Ren 11 years ago
Ren watched impassively, even as his boss was thrown against the wall. Granted, he had been expecting it, as well as himself being attacked, but the Vampire's speed was still astounding on so many levels. He barely even blinked when he was slammed to the concrete floor, wincing slightly but otherwise remaining impassive. Truthfully, he hated this position. His back exposed, face pressed against the icy cold... It brought back too many painful memories. Ones he'd rather just forget and move on with.
But then a sudden painful sense of deja vu struck him when Yoseob was slicing open his back, cutting through it with ease as fiery pain shot up his every nerve. Ren clenched his teetn, fists balled up as he desperately tried to hold on to his sanity. Pain he could handle. He had felt worse before. But the fact that this felt so real, so much like what /they/ had done to him... And even those words. The Vampire couldn't possibly have chosen a worse selection. Scenes flashed through Ren's mind as he vaguely heard the sound of ice sliding through the air in the real world. Pictures of the night of one of his greatest rebellions, and the night they had broken him once and for all. By then, blood was seeping from his palms where his fingernails had dug so hard they bled.
"I'm not a lapdog."
He growled, dangerously low as he closed his eyes and let go into the darkness. It was his, and he might as well embrace it, this once.
From the darkness bubbling underneath him, out shot two huge hands that were real, that were physical. They literally grabbed Yoseob and threw him against the wall, pinning him there as Ren slowly stood up, blood dripping from his back and his eyes black with unrestrained fury. Silently, he looked around him at the Vampires who were still stirring, his boss, everything as if he was seeing it for the first time. In a sense, he was. His now relaxed hand clenched once more, and the shadows came pooling from everywhere, running a rampage around the room, ripping pieces out of anyone they came in contact with. Screams fell on deaf ears as Ren continued to stare impassively, slowly approaching Yoseob, who was shoved against the wall in such a way that any of his powers were useless. The shadowy hands even negated his mist travel, and no compulsion would work on Ren when he was so far gone. The blonde stared into his eyes, piercing into his mind further than mind reading could ever go, not reading, just staring.
"You refused to take my life. I'll do the same to you, whether for good or for bad."
He said simply in a voice that didn't seem to be his own, before turning away, the hands shifting into blades that lacerated the other's skin until him and the area around him was dyed crimson red. It wouldn't kill him, no, but it was mainly because he was an immortal corpse of a Vampire. Walking over to where his Boss was, Ren shot him a look of contempt, as if he was the object of all of the blonde's hatred. Which technically wasn't true, but he didn't care at this point.
Not even sparing him a word, Ren simply stared at him before disintegrating, taking all of the shadows in the room with him. A moment passed, and then the effect of not having their counterpart took its toll on everything in the room. The whole room literally combusted, the Vampires also turning into dust, just leaving the two Bosses to pick themselves up and possibly kill each other as Ren went to run rampage in the Slums.
T.O.P 11 years ago
Looking as if he was almost dancing among the Vampires, the Don was sorely outnumbered though. Even with his battle skills and experience dealing with the creatures of the night, one of them still managed to leave quite a nasty scratch on his arm that immediately bled... Though Seunghyun was quicker in stabbing an ice dagger through that creature's heart before he could try and drink his blood. By then, only one was left, the madness in its eyes heightened at the smell of his tainted angelic blood to the point that he really didn't even have to do much except stab his last dagger through that one's heart too.
All the Vampires down, his coat splattered with blood and a bit of his own oozing out, the Fallen didn't hesitate to rip off a piece of his shirt and quickly bind the scratch up... The look on his face was one of a battle lust, not even caring really about the fact that Ren hadn't helped him at all. But at least Seunghyun growled back as a swift tug and a slight wince finished the makeshift bandage on his arm, "I know. I don't have an instant clean-up power like your's to kill Vampires easily."
Just then, with the words that the Underboss said, then the Fallen's eyes shot up to note that he too had felt an atmosphere of the building shift... Much more insanity here now which constituted that the Vampire Leader was here. A slight smirk graced Seunghyun's features as two long swords of ice appeared in hands, gaze watching the Vampire appear from behind several wooden crates... And before he could really react at all, the Don felt himself being thrown violently across the room. What he DID manage to do was stop himself from being pierced on any sort of broken pieces of whatnot in the building though his ice swords shattered, leaving him with broken pieces of ice.
The wave of pain in his shoulders clearly indicated to the Fallen that something was wrong with his right shoulder... Trying to move it, it simply dangled limply and did not respond. Dislocated, he growled mentally to himself and ignoring the screaming of his body, grabbed his misplaced arm with his other. Eyes squeezed shut, a low grunt still escaped Seunghyun as with a strong jolt, he pulled the arm back into its socket with a quiet *pop* AND a tsunami of fresh pain.
That left him gasping for a moment as his hands grasped the broken pieces of ice and his eyes were forced open to the sight of Yoseob perched on the Underboss... The command that was forced on him didn't come as much of a surprise to Seunghyun as he probably wouldn't have been able to get up easily too. But compelled to simply be fresh meat and watch only wasn't an option as the Don still struggled to sit upright, mind now sharper than ever with the pain erasing anything else but the sight in front of him.
No way he was going to let Ren die... Or any other Fallen die either right in front of him or whenever. Mustering all of his strength, the Don bared his teeth at the Vampire Leader, hands crushing the pieces of ice into fine thin and extremely sharp ice needles. "Make me stay here, Yoseob... But I'm not going to let you stay THERE," he growled out loudly before raising that recently dislocated shoulder and throwing the ice crystals straight at the Vampire.
It wasn't as strong as he wanted it to be, thanks to the fateful throw he had just gotten, but at least most of them buried their way into the Vampire's skin on his hands and any skin exposed... Might not be deep, but they had got to REALLY sting and hurt in the very least as Seunghyun continued to watch with a ferocity that could be compared to a caged and hungry tiger, just waiting to spring out and maul anyone in the way...
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
Yoseob materialized in the far eastern corner of the warehouse only to be greeted by the scuffles and screams of a conflict gone wrong- or right...depending on how you looked at it. The sweet scent of blood filled the air, and a sensual groan left the Don's throat, only to bounce throughout the emptiness of the room, echoing through the silence. "What a lovely welcome." The male said lightly as he emerged from behind a large wooden crate, his gaze focused on the two. The Don's eyes were liquid steel as they sized up the two opponents, deciding what he should do with them. "You have some balls, coming in here to make a mess of things like this." A soft cackle came from the vampire before he once again vanished.
"No matter." His voice came as a whisper in Seunghyun's ear before a hand was wrapped around the male's wrist, yanking him forward with enough force to launch the male clear across the room, dislocating his shoulder in the process. "I can take care of you two with ease."
Yoseob's vision then focused on Ren. He shoved the boy down face first onto the floor, sitting on top of him in the same instant. "And you. You told me how you want to die, didn't you?" The vampire grabbed one of the broken shards of glass from the floor, digging it directly into the place where the boy's wings once were. "Shall I make that a reality tonight?" Ruthlessly, Yoseob began to carve the outline of wings into the boy's back, laughing coldly. "You've overstepped your boundaries, lapdog." He hissed into Ren's ear, crazed eyes looking up to meet Seunghyun's.
"Stay where you are." The Don's voice came forcefully, dripping with the most potent form of compulsion. "I want you to watch exactly what happens when you cross me."
Ren 11 years ago
Ren had gotten his arms moving by the time he had just about given up hope, his mind racing with thoughts on what the Vampires would do to him. No doubt Yoseob would think of something perfectly horrendous. Past relations aside, right now they were enemies and would thus have to treat each other like so. If that meant nightmarish torture to gain information, then he was sure that the other would be prepared for it.
But imagine his surprise when his shadows sensed another form, one that seemed to repel them rather than accept them. There was only one conclusion that he could draw, and he momentarily tensed right before the figure literally jumped from the ceiling. In an instant, the Vampire was off of him, the force of his command broken when he was nearly killed on impact. As his Boss the remaining Vampires, Ren calmly got up, testing out his limbs that felt like lead before standing casually, blood splattered over his coat and staining the whole end of his scarf red. The shadows pulled themselves off of the wall, swirling at his feet as they now entered the physical realm. Ren simply stood back and watched TOP handle the Vampires with relative ease, responding in a calm, almost bored voice,
"Fine, I'll take it as that much. But I'm afraid you made a rather messy job of things and Yoseob is not going to be happy in the least bit. Think, Boss, think. Vampires. Blood. Vampires go crazy around blood. Crazy Vampire Boss is not what we need right now."
He sensed someone, or rather something, approaching, and turned his head in the direction it came from, darkness swirling around him like murky, jet black ink,
"Ah, pity. Seems we won't be getting home very soon, after all. Here /he/ comes."
T.O.P 11 years ago
And with two longer and more jagged ice dagger materialized in his hands, he jumped. The sight of it must have been very frightening to anyone watching... A dark figure, descending down and seeming like a tainted avenger of the heavens. Which in someways, was what Seunghyun as both daggers buried themselves into the Vampire that had pinned Ren down, almost killing the being instantly with the force that bore down onto his spine and head. The Fallen wasn't the Don for nothing as he grabbed the Vampire's shoulders and heaving him off his fellow Fallen, swung the half-dead being right in front of him to turn into a living shield against the advancing Vampires.
Poor guy was then clawed and bit into by his fellow beings before they backed away with horror, Seunghyun throwing the Vampire down to the ground as now two spiked and jagged swords of ice were made, bouncing on the balls of his feet in a ready position as he calmly called back to Ren, "Doesn't look like I owe you any more, Ren. Now let's get rid of these leeches and we can get home."
The fire of battle were blazing in his dark eyes as he rushed at two Vampires, hardly waiting for his second-in-command to get up as the other two also dived in towards the Don. Skillfully evading and dodging around them with innate and wielding the dual blades with an almost unnatural grace, the Fallen was testing and seeing the perfect moment to bury those blades into the heart with the least mess and most efficiency as possible.

T.O.P 11 years ago
Even with the quite /insanity/ that rolled off of the Vampire, Seunghyun still kept the same calm look he had the entire time... Except for the intensity of his eyes trying to make up for the fact that his mind couldn't read anything comprehensible through the buzzing of the Don's mind. But what else did he expect? Every time he came up to Vampires, the same thing happened... Wasn't like it was going to be any different from the LEADER of them.
Casually sipping from the wine glass again, the scoff and the off-handed insults that were given to him had no effect on the Fallen. He didn't really care for what the Don had to say, just that he had done his job of stalling the Leader... Hopefully long enough that was. Shrugging slightly as the mic was pulled out into the air for him to spot, nothing changed for Seunghyun as all he said back to the Leader was a murmured, "Good night to you," just before the puff of mist was what indicated that the Vampire was gone.
Resisting the urge to roll his eyes as the second drink was finished with no effect on the Fallen whatsoever, he was ready to stand up and head outside before a small thing dropped into his lap. While this was surprising a bit, realization dawned over Seunghyun as he slipped the recorder into a pocket, knowing that it was Ren who gave this to him... But where was his second-in-command himself? Ditched perhaps?
While that might be the case, for some reason, his gut told him differently. And through all of his years on Earth, his gut had never been wrong. This wasn't just another case that one could simply walk away casually as it involved Vampires, and a whole mess of them to be honest by the group that had accompanied Yoseob into the club. So tipping the girl with quite a generous bill, the Fallen quickly made his way out the back entrance and away from the majority of the crowd except for those who were so intoxicated that they hardly knew where their feet was.
Back into the cool night air and outside from the stuffiness of the building with the sweat of humans, it cleared and sharpened Seunghyun's mind as he began to walk... And purely by chance, heard a quiet scuffle in one of the buildings nearby the club. This small sound usually would have passed by most humans as nothing, instantly drew the Don towards it as he lowered himself into more of a hunter's pounce, cautiously peeking around the corner. And perfect, there were two Vampires standing guard outside the entrance, blatantly making themselves obvious as those creatures by the smile one made as they glanced inside.
The moment of opportunity was hardly wasted by the Fallen as he sprung right onto the back of one, a long jagged and spiked dagger of ice materialized in his hand and stabbed directly into the heart of the unsuspecting Vampire from the shoulder. While they could had the upper hand in physical strength and speed, as long as Seunghyun willed it, that dagger would be remaining in that creature's heart and killing it slowly and painfully. The other hardly had any time to react either as the Don swiftly launched himself over the head of the falling Vampire and directly into this one's face. While the being was trying to claw and bite at him, another ice dagger was made and then just as the other one, stabbed through the back through the shoulders and directly into the heart.
Both of them now twitching weakly and gurgling at his feet as he stepped on the back of their heads, the Fallen then straightened up and dusted himself off, the recent battle leaving a smug smirk and a look of battle lust in his eyes. He missed those old days of hunting down evil in his angelic days... And the Don was far from sated for Vampire blood right now.
Guards dealt with, Seunghyun now didn't lower his guard down any more than he did before... In fact, he was on high alert as the Fallen circled around the building, cautiously peeking into one window... To see that his gut had been correct again. There was Ren, held down by quite the nasty looking Vampire while four others were surrounding them. Feeling much more concerned and worried now, the Don knew that he couldn't exactly tackle all of them at once without at least sustaining some sort of injury to himself... The only way they would have a chance was to free Ren first.
And so, that was when Seunghyun spotted a slightly open ventilation system high up in the building... Something that the Vampires probably didn't think would do anything or they didn't see that when they came to see their contact. With concentration and trying to be as quick as possible, the Don began to scale his way up to it... Good thing too that he was in peak physical form or else there would have been plenty of times that he would have fell. Reaching his destination, there the Fallen was, perched in the tiny opening almost above to where the Underboss was.

Ren 11 years ago
Ren heard all of the short exchange between the two. It went roughly the way he had imagined. But really, the amount of contempt and animosity among all of the supernatural races was, in a word, suffocating. That really didn't mean much to the blonde, but it was worth noting for the future.
The feed in his left ear turned to static and he smirked, knowing that Yoseob had found the bug on him. It probably wasn't that hard, and he would have been disappointed if the Vampire hadn't noticed it. While it didn't exactly help foster peaceful relations between the two of them, had anything? They were enemies, so the times spent not trying to kill each other were just idle distractions. At least that was the way things were supposed to go.
In his right ear, he heard the noises of the humans leaving the room, which caused him to melt into the shadows and get moving again. If those Vampires were any good at what they did, they'd probably sweep the area for any devices and destroy them, and it was his job to recover the recorder before that happened. Or else the whole mission would have been pointless and his Boss would have his head. Unfortunately, right when he had materialized one of his arms to grab the damn recorder, one of the Vampires was checking under the table. Yoseob must have trained them and their sense well, because faster than he could react, Ren felt himself pulled out of the shadows and thrown on the floor, his wrists pinned down as the command was growled into his ear.
"Don't move."
He let out an exasperated sigh and managed to pass off the recorder to one of his shadows without the Vampire noticing, mentally commanding it to take it to TOP. The Fallen was left with no choice but to lay there as the Vampires decided what to do to him and wait for the magical command to wear off enough for him to do something. They recognized him from earlier, which was bad, but they thought he was a Demon because of his shadow travel, which was good. At least they weren't going to try to his blood. But if Yoseob went straight there, he'd probably have a bit more of a problem on his hand. Take out the Vampires? Simple. Their Boss? Not so much.
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
Aware of the way that the other male watched him, an amused little smirk spread across Yoseob's face as an air of smugness surrounded him. "Does it frustrate you that you can't read me?" He asked bluntly, his curiosity getting the better of him. "I would imagine that it is. Seeing as my race is the only one immune to your probing." Throwing a glance at the dance floor, the Don chuckled. "Poor little fallen."
Upon hearing the word of the skirmishes on the outskirts of Fallen territory, the vampire rolled his eyes. "I'd say that your men are mistaken." A cool smile graced Yoseob's features, fangs glinting dangerously in the colored light. "I'd also say that you should gather your own information before calling upon me with only hearsay to back you up." With a scoff, the don turned and got up, digging in his pocket to find the wire in his pocket, dropping the small mic on the ground before crushing it under his foot. There was a calm sort of anger that morphed the other male's features before he looked at Seunghyun with an insane light in his eyes. "Good day, sir." He said cheerfully before disappearing in a puff of mist.

At the abrupt disappearance of Ren away into the comfort of his shadows, Seunghyun had to mentally sigh at the fact that even on a crucial mission like this, it didn't seem as if they could get along any better really... But at least he would be following orders, or so the Fallen had faith in his second-in-command that he would be doing so.
But back to the more immediate situation, the fact that the Vampire Don was sitting right in front of him... The two of them with their masks of civility even if all they REALLY wanted to do was rip each other's throats out and rid the city of the races of the others. Still having that carefree smile on his lips, Seunghyun simply sipped again from his glass before chuckling softly, shrugging slightly as he replied, "And so it is..." dark eyes constantly watching the male in front of him like a hunting hawk.
The questions that were shot at him clearly stated how irritated the Don was at the fact that he was being held up... A mental smirk was on Seunghyun's mind as he ceased to prod into the Vampire's static-filled crazy mind. No sense in going in circles there and going insane like they were... Placing the half-empty win glass down, the Fallen cleared his throat before purring out, "I heard that concerning the territory borders between the Fallen and Demons, there was a certain skirmish there that was said to have Vampires involved... Both what my men said AND what the Demon we caught /kindly/ told us." A barely perceptible smug smirk was on the Don's face as he picked up the drink again. "What do you have to say about this, Yoseob?"
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
"I'd rather not drink while I'm on the job, but thank you." Yoseob said bluntly as his gaze raked over Seunghyun's casual form. He didn't miss the way that he nodded to Ren, or the way that the boy seemed to be understanding that this meant. 'What're you plotting?' The Vampire wondered to himself, knowing his mind wasn't really able to be touched by the Fallen. The insanity of vampires worked as a sort of metaphorical static to render them immune to most psychic powers, including mind reading.
Glancing over to the side as Ren dematerialized next to him, the vampire Don leaned back in seat and crossed his arms. He didn't say anything about it, but he actually did notice the small rustle of his jacket, and he figured that he'd just been bugged. He'd take care of that later, but for now he made a mental note to himself not to say anything he'd regret. He could only hope that his men were as smart. There wasn't much to say about the Humans. They were simple minded, and rather stupid. But nothing could be done about that.
"So what did you say you wanted? Because if you're here to just shoot the breeze with me, then I'd better be off? I may have all the time in the world, in the most literal sense of the phrase, but I'm afraid my client does not."
Ren 11 years ago
To be quite honest he was getting pretty fed up with the both of them, and he allowed it to show slightly by still sitting with his forehead pressed to the table, a position of sheer and utter boredom. No matter what nice or snarky words had been exchanged with the other two, Ren felt like he was just a pawn being pushed around by the both of them. He was sure that was what they saw him as, which did nothing to help his motivation to even be there, much less complete the mission.
But seeing as that was a direct order from the Boss, he really had to go along with this one. Ren was going to retort with some sarcastic remark, and maybe a helpful remark about how dealing with the Vampire Boss would have to be carried out in caution, but his senior's mind was already closed off again. The blonde didn't even find the motivation to make a proper exit.
" this ."
He muttered, before literally disintegrating into the shadows, traveling imperceptibly from one to the other. The whole conversation would be able to heard by him, since he concealed a wire inside Yoseob's coat, without him noticing. Pity it couldn't record, just send a live stream, but Ren wasn't about to help the Fallen that much. Especially when, while he didn't necessarily feel any warm fuzzy feelings towards the Vampires themselves, he respected their Boss' goals more than anyone else's that he had met so far.
As per orders, he followed the Vampires to where they met with their contact. The humans were making a huge mess of the whole operation, spilling names and locations without a second thought, and he could tell it was really pissing the Vampires off. Pity for them, he thought as he materialized just enough to attach a small recorder to the table, fading back and reappearing in the deserted alley behind the nightclub, listening to both feeds, one in each ear.
T.O.P 11 years ago
Seunghyun simply inclined his head at the sight and words that Ren shot at him, knowing fully well as much as the Underboss did that this was no light matter... But what was a light matter between them anyways? Somehow, they always got more on a terrible footing than before... But that could be thought about in another time as the Don watched his second-in-command weave through the crowd again to the Vampire Leader. A rueful smile was about to curl his lips then as he could note the acting that the younger Fallen was so good at... The kid really did had talent for these sorts of things.
Tilting the deep red liquid towards his lips as the pair approached, his fellow Fallen able to do his job quite well, Seunghyun contemplatively swallowed down the liquid first with his eyes closed. A moment passed as the Vampire asked them first off before the Fallen did anything but slowly lower down the glass to the table and open his eyes. The male who sat in front of him didn't seem like much... His face just pouting with innocence it seemed as the wine was absently swirled between two fingers.
Dark intense orb bore into the Don sitting opposite of him as a seemingly pleasant smile curved onto his features. "Patience, Yoseob... An immortal creature like you has all the time in the world to do your business. A drink, perhaps? They're on me tonight," he purred out cordially, nodding his head towards one of the rovering girls bringing drinks about even as his own wine was slowly sipped.
But in his mind, the Fallen was quickly stating orders to the second-in-command sitting next to him, /Follow the Vampires and track down the dealer when you can. I'll keep the Leader here and away from you... Use an excuse to go to the bathroom or whatever you wish,/ about to close his mind up again before a last statement was quickly thrown out too, /Don't you dare ditch this one, Ren./ the meaning pregnant with exceptions and faith behind those thought-words.
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
Yoseob fixed Ren with a cold stare as he watched the boy stand up and make his way through the sea of writhing bodies. A soft roll of his eyes and a sigh were the only real reactions from the Vampire as he met eyes with the Fallen underboss. Might as well get this over quickly, he figured. The boy came to a stop in front of him, and Yoseob regarded him with a cordial nod before half-listening to the words that spilled forth from the boy's mouth.
Throwing a glance back to his men, Yoseob gave a shrug, showing them that it was alright to continue on with whatever they were doing. The other vampires glanced between each other uneasily, but otherwise went on with their business.
Following the blonde back to the table the two had occupied, the Don sat down with a rather blank expression on his face. "What do you want?" Yoseob asked as he watched the others leave to find the dealer they were looking for. "I'm a busy man, and I have things to do, so make this quick."
Ren 11 years ago
Ren sat up as he was told, eyes flickering between the two Bosses. The cool tension that seemed to rest in the air made his nerves tingle as he had to seriously contemplate what he was going to do. Of course, he kept those thoughts to himself, locking himself into his mind, and keeping any others out. That included his Boss, who would probably disapprove, but the Fallen hardly cared. He had enough on his mind, and any more distractions than the ones already present would not be of any help.
He had two conflicting orders. Stay out of the Vampire's way, or bring them over. Of course, Ren was supposed to listen to his superior, especially when they were dealing with the enemy. But he'd be lying if he said he didn't appreciate Yoseob's company more than TOP's, which was probably not a good thing at all. Originally he had been planning to ditch this mission after giving his Boss a few choice words, but that wasn't really an option anymore. He sighed, getting up and pushing the brim of his hat a little higher to reveal his dark, empty eyes that quickly took on a softer, more innocent appearance.
'You owe me.'
He flashed in his mind towards his boss, weaving through the crowd and painting on a mask of naive, youthful cockiness.
"Excuse me, you're Yang Yoseob, correct? My friend and I would like to talk to you. We've heard that you may have some things that interest us, and we were hoping we could organize a deal? Your men can go ahead if they have something that you're supposed to be doing; it shouldn't take long."
A note of desperation crept into his voice, as he slipped once more into his role of a seriously messed up, ignorant teenager who was trying to fulfill his cravings caused by an addiction to whatever the Vampires were hiding. Without waiting for a response, he pulled the man along towards the booth, flashing a smile that could be interpreted as anything from nervous to slightly apologetic.
T.O.P 11 years ago
Inclining his head at the sight of his fellow Fallen sliding his way through the room and the massive packs of people, Seunghyun slowly began to drain the blood-red wine into his throat... Just in time as for Ren to slid into the booth next to him. The now empty drink was quickly whisked away, the liquid quickly warming up the Don as he nodded towards his second-in-command as a greeting. Now that both of them were here, it was time for the Don to keep a close eye out for their contact... And any unwanted Vampires tagging along too.
Though with the question that the younger Fallen offered, Seunghyun nodded slightly again before murmuring, "Yes for both of them," in a voice low enough that only his companion could hear. Dark eyes were scanning around the building, feeling more or less relaxed... Well, relaxed until his eyes narrowed in slight surprise and bubbling irritation. What was this? So... Their contact had... Vampires with them. Great, perfectly lovely. But even as thoughts began to curse the Vampire Leader and his minions, a look of complete impassiveness was on the Fallen's face.
They were here to stop the drug business, and they were going to do it before any of them decided to skimp out. Either that or at least ONE of the Vampires had to die tonight... Gaze quickly glancing over his Underboss, Seunghyun didn't have to actually /hear/ what Yoseob was saying. Simple mind reading sufficed for it, the usual rules of manners that the Fallen would reserve for others not needed when it came to dealing with those Vampires and Demons.
With that, a slight smirk curled Seunghyun's lips as he nudged Ren to straighten up, another drink was quickly brought about. Taking the new wine glass in hand, the Fallen's mind was whirring with plans and ideas... But first off, they had to lure the Don over to them at least. And even though Fallen technically weren't telepathic, projected mind reading fitted enough into that category. /Get the Vampire Don over here and we can continue/ he had stamped on his mind, knowing that the Underboss would be able to read that. Dark eyes continued to sear into the Vampire Leader, a look of cordial pleasure and a slight motion of his head towards the empty seat of the booth, inviting him to sit as if they were old childhood friends meeting again...
Yoseob [A] 11 years ago
Yoseob was greeted by the scent of sweat, , and alcohol as he entered the club, surrounded by a few other vampires. The pungent scent was enough to cause the Don to reel back just the tiniest bit at the scent. How could Humans possibly enjoy being in a filthy place such as this? A deep sigh was heaved by the vampire as thoughts of being home reading a book and drinking a mug of coffee flashed through his mind. That would be a good evening as opposed to chasing down some stupid little human drug dealing ring in order to iron out the details of the shipment of heroin that was coming in tonight.
What's more, he had heard that they were being observed tonight by the eternally nosy Fallen. "Keep an eye out for them." He spoke to his men in a rather bored tone, deciding that he would stand out like a sore thumb if he opted not to breathe, he satisfied his comfort for the sake of the work set out before him. However, it wasn't for naught as the Don caught wind of a familiar scent. His eyes darted to the left, and sure enough, he saw a telltale flash of blonde. "You can't hide from me, Ren." He purred, his voice was soft enough to be drowned out to Human ears, but he knew that the Fallen would be able to hear him as clearly as if he was sitting right next to him. "Just do make sure you and your idiot boss stay out of our way. This is tricky business you know. I won't take so kindly to interference."
Ren 11 years ago
Ren was as close to furious as he was ever going to get, which amounted up to "quite annoyed." And why wouldn't he? For all of TOP's smooth words, the younger still held a resentment for his Boss which only intensified if anything. Not only that, but they would be interacting with Vampires, which wasn't exactly his cup of tea.. or coffee. But to top it all off, it was in a nightclub. He hated those places with a fiery burning passion, and for good reason.
He walked into the entrance, immediately greeted by a barrage on his senses of alcohol and sweat and other stuff that a club smelled and practically felt like. That he could live with. But as he pulled down his hat low over his forehead and pulled his scarf up, he went over all of his past experiences in places like this. Being hit on by drunk men of all ages. Creepy old ladies in their forties. His feminine and young appearance, as well as the touch of a rebel streak signified by his hair, made him a welcome target. His cold personality was usually enough to turn them away, but a lot of times they had been persistent and harassed him.
He quickly spotted TOP in a booth, making his way over with practiced ease through the large crowds. Because of his disguise, for once he wasn't stopped by someone who was clearly wasted and looking for a good , and the Fallen was perfectly fine with that. Sliding into the seat next to the Boss, leaving the space across from them open for their contact, he murmured to reaffirm the assignment, being careful to choose his words carefully in case there was a wire hidden somewhere.
"So, they're gonna give us something really good, right, hyung? Aren't they supposed to be showing up now?"
The mission was simple. Meet with the contact person, gather what information they could, and either pursue the matter or leave it for another day. Because of their rank, the two Fallen were authorized to make such decisions. Ren sighed, settling himself down for another long night before glancing up when their provider inside the Vampire's drug circle showed up. Almost immediately, he banged his head back down on the table and let out a sigh. Of course it had to be /that/ guy. His scent would be recognized immediately. The secrecy of the whole operation had just gone up in flames in a second, which meant that now, direct conflict was unavoidable. And that would be so bothersome indeed.
T.O.P 11 years ago
The night club. A more or less... Neutral place for any of the gang to sit back, relax and enjoy the show that was put on... Unless they favored more rigorous activities in the rooms of the back. But tonight, Seunghyun wasn't here for the pleasure and the relaxation. But the thing was that the Don hardly came here anyways... Even more unlikely was the fact that he was here for business. To take out one of the rumored Vampires' drug business. Sure, the Fallen knew that this was ordinary parts of a gang, but HE didn't approve of it. Perhaps it was because his "gang" was really part of the police force itself, but taking out a part of the Vampire's deals would be a blow to them by itself. As for the drugs... There were methods of disposal than snorting it up nostrils or injecting them into veins.
Walking into the night club, the collar of his leather jacket turned up and nose buried into a scarf, the Don quickly made his way through the throngs of men... Specifically men with their eyes all trained on the gyrating bodies of the women on stage. All the men except for Seunghyun, needing only a touch to one of their shoulders to make a unsuspecting perplexed man move aside. The Fallen moving through before he could really come back to his senses and notice why the hell a man was just trying to get through the crowd instead of watching the show...
Specifically why Seunghyun was here, he was here to meet with his Underboss as well. After that "chat" that they had in the office, the Fallen concluded that it would best if he could actually see the boy in action... Not that he hadn't before, but this time with working along with him. Perhaps it could clear up some things as well, the things that they had spoken about a few days ago...
So taking a seat in one of the more "private" (nothing was really private except for in the V.I.P. rooms) booths in the back, the Don ordered his usual... A glass of fine red wine that was quickly whisked to him by a scantily dressed girl, batting her eyes at the male to no avail. He wasn't here for lust, evident by the bored look on his face as she turned away disappointed from the striking Seunghyun. Instead, his eyes were trained on the entrance of the club, swirling and bringing the glass to his lips as he waited for his second-in-command, the information he had received from some of his informers clicking together in his mind...
