dive in operates as any regular nonau would... but with a twist! our rp features reddit as a special function. we wish to create a community where users are able to freely discuss deep and profound questions without taking anything personally; as well as a space where users can ask about hypothetical questions and nonsensical thoughts without getting judged. this is where we share what goes on in our minds and have fun together.

 

by joining our community, you are agreeing to step in with an open mind and accept that not everyone will share the same opinions or agree to your beliefs. nobody is right or wrong! 

» favourite the rp before commenting for your desired character. when commenting, include the full name and reddit username.

 

» this is a semiau, you are still idols. the semi part comes into play when wanting to tweak your character's likes, dislikes, connections and personality. this is to help with plot and to give more creative freedom.

 

» we highly encourage rping here! plot and form your threads with each other, we are semi-literate and semi-crack, the best of both worlds. we'll like to see people writing out scenarios mentioned in the subreddits, it'll be fun! with that said, for any ic drama, ensure that all parties involved have consented. 

 

» strictly no ooc drama allowed. do not mention other rps and users here. if you have issues with someone, settle it privately or be cordial, do not make it uncomfortable for everyone else. 

 

» no facechasing, userchasing, bubble rping or god modding allowed. talk to everyone instead of sticking to your clique only. 

 

» you are given 48 hours to complete the profile provided, put a dp on and gain at least 10 points. failure to do so will result in immediate kick and you will be on cooldown for 72 hours. 

 

» limit of 10 characters per user. 1st is free, 2nd granted upon upvote, 3rd when you post an ad blog which has to describe why you like the rp/ why the rp is special. 4th to 10th will be given so long as all characters have 200 points each. we will only be granting alts when the existing characters you hold have a complete profile.

 

» internationals allowed. no controversial, deceased, married or those who has stated that they do not want to be rped allowed. muses must be at least 21 years old (born in 2002 or earlier). 

 

» inactivity is set to 12 days. you will be given 1 warning and 24 hours to gain 10 points during your initial inactivity. failure to do so will result in getting kicked and you will be on cooldown for 72 hours. the second time you go inactive, no warning will be given and you'd be kicked immediately.

 

» maximum semi/hiatus of 4 weeks. thereafter, you will not be allowed to go on semi/hiatus for 2 weeks. ccing and username changes are allowed once a month. please refer to the request room for this. pw is to paraphrase any 2 rules. 

 

» all orientations allowed. dating ban of 1 week. move-in couples welcomed but please state so either in your comment or application or it'll be voided. currently no pregnancies allowed but if you wish to get married, go ahead!

 

» as we do not want to restrict the content posted in view of not wanting to put a limit to creativity and fun, nsfw topics are allowed in the reddit community. BUT, no explicit descriptions, extreme topics and pictures allowed. moderators reserve the rights to delete posts that we find inappropriate. the user will be given a warning as well and failure to comply the second time will result in immediate kick. please help us in creating a safe space! there are no right or wrong answers here, this is merely a place for fun to share our different opinions with people of all walks of life. even if you hold different beliefs, do not take anything personally and separate ooc from ic!
