Who Are We

ABOUT — Burrowed in the Long Island Sound lies a safe haven for demigods; the mortal children of Gods and Goddesses of old. Despite the numerous changes in location over the years, the purpose of Camp Half-Blood has always remained the same: to act as a sanctuary, a home, for these powerful children, to protect them from the creatures that wish to destroy them.

Disguised as the Delphi Strawberry Service, the mist hides this place from monsters and mortals alike but even with the Golden Fleece protecting its borders, campers remain vigilant for the next unwanted visitor that might stumble through.

Golden Fleece is set in the present day and after the canonical events of the PJO/HOO series. Consider all characters from the PJO series to have grown up(or died, in some characters cases) and ‘graduated’ from Camp Half-Blood / Camp Jupiter and we are the next generation of demigods. You are welcome to use canon characters as NPCs in your plots.

establishment guidelines

one. Favouriting the roleplay prior to joining is required. Upvotes are, as always, immensely appreciated but not necessary unless requesting an additional faceclaim.

We accept accounts under 6 months old. We do not accept double up accounts unless we have been notified prior.

two. Golden Fleece may be a non-rated roleplay but we will be dealing with many sensitive and non-sensitive themes during our run. We require all muns(+ their faceclaims) to be of age. If you are found to be underage, you will be removed from the roleplay without warning. We understand that this may be frustrating to underage muns however we are following rpr guidelines and this is to keep both us, and yourselves, safe.

If you are of age and find that you can be easily triggered or upset by certain events, subjects, etc., then we encourage that you take a moment to consider whether to join or not. We do have certain banned topics which will be listed in the FAQ room; link can be found to the left. 

three. OOC or unplanned IC drama is not tolerated. If you are experiencing issues with another roleplayer, take it to a private message and include an admin if you feel that is best. If any hostility is perceived by an admin, towards either a participant or admin, they have full authority to issue a warning(s) or, depending on severity, removal from roleplay. We will bring this to the attention of a moderator.

This is meant to be a chill, lowkey roleplay- I don't want any ooc drama or negativity brought here.

Golden Fleece operates on a two-strike system. If you offend for a third time, you will be removed and grey- or blacklisted from the roleplay. Grey- and blacklisting will be determined by what you have received warnings for.

Greylist = you will be able to rejoin the roleplay after a certain amount of time has passed.

Blacklist = you will be unable to rejoin the roleplay.

Keep your OOC and IC separate. It's ok to mix things up sometimes, everybody is guilty of it at some point, however if you find that you are being negatively affected by your roleplay content; take a step back. Discuss with your partner what needs to change or inform them that you will need to take a short break and move on.

four. We require participants to have a basic profile set up within 7 days of joining. What constitutes a basic profile will be provided below. A full profile is required by the 3 week mark; we accept shorthand sentences and dot/bullet points for backgrounds as we know these can be tricky.

If struggling to provide a full profile, let an admin know and we will provide assistance where we can.

A basic profile will include : general information(name, dob, star signs, godly parent, appearance, etc.), trivial information (likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc.) and aesthetics(images, quotes).

five. No hidden password, just tell us the three words that you would describe your character with. These can be emotions, colours, objects, personality traits, scents, etc. See example application below for help!

six. You may have up to five faceclaims. Guidelines can be found in the request room(link to the left).

seven. As always, activity is self-paced because we all have lives and I don't particularly feel like chasing after adults to be active when could be going on ooc. All I ask is that you roleplay in your own time, we don't people to get overwhelmed and be anxious about replying. Inactivity is set to 30 days because of this. If you go a month without being active, you will be removed and grey listed for 48 hours head admin time.

There are plenty of shorthand rooms such as the multiple IC rooms and the games room to be active in if you aren't able to roleplay.

how to be granted entry

one. When making your reservation, please note that faceclaims belonging to the below categories are not allowed:

— Under the age of 20.
— Have stated they do not want to be roleplayed.
—  Are deceased.
— Problematic, have been accused or convicted of a felony, etc.
— Are in the adult entertainment industry(this includes stars, onlyfans creators, softcore insta influencers, et.).
— Cosplayers.
— Influencers with under 850K followers.

two. You may adjust your characters age by -/+ 5 years as long as it doesn't go below the limit of 20 years.

three. We accept faceclaims of every other category. We heavily encourage age, ethnicity and nationality diversity.
