@✦ park chanyeol It was early morning; there was no class now, though there were a few campers who visited the archery field for practice. Baekhyun was one of them, despite having no actual need for it. Not when he remained one of the top archers in the camp, competition low. Still, the archery field was one of his favourite places in the camp. Handling his bow and arrow wa his way of destressing; he would be onsite at least three days a week while at camp.

It was serene; the other practitioners making little talk, focusing on their targets. Having chosen a target on the edge, Baekhyun could see in his peripheral vision the other campers when they passed by the field. He spared them a glance after placing blockers in front of the target, a minute distance apart just enough for the arrow to fly straight through to the bull's-eye. Baekhyun went back to the starting line and d the lyre locket on his necklace, transforming it into a bow, while the necklace chain changed into a quiver.

He drew an arrow back when the commotion from the passerbys grew, causing Baekhyun to divert his attention away from the target and to a tall, lanky male. He was /loud/. Baekhyun could be vibrant, too, yet this particular camper seemed to have no regard for his surroundings, especially when he was right next to an archery range. He tried to ignore the distraction and focused on the centre of the target peeking it between the blockers. He aimed. The commotion from a certain bystander grew. His arm twitched.

The arrow flew into the direction of the passerbys, straight towards a certain loud camper's exiting figure, and nicked him on the side of his rear. On target, Baekhyun self-praised. He slotted his bow into his quiver, transforming his instrument back into his necklace and jogged towards the wounded. "My apologies!" He yelled. "Got distracted." The latter was true, he thought.
