"iced latte for jin!" It was a little too late to have caffeine. well for most people it would have been, but for lily a dose of caffeine was just an every day normal no matter the time of day. she had just flown back from tokyo, having been there to record her lines and title song for an upcoming video game and tired as she was, she still needed to head back to the recording studio and run a few verses for a song she'd been working on for a few weeks now.

"thanks so much!" she chirped at the barista before taking her drink. usually she'd use her given korean name when ordering food, it was far more common than the name lily and while she didn't mind being recognized in public, there were times she appreciated the anonymity of her legal korean name- she could just dine and dash so to say. her headphones were in her ears, an iced latte in her hand and nothing else could matter. "oh shoot, I forgot to hit play..." and as she came to look for her phone (honestly even after being a part of this world for so long, modern technology never failed to amaze her) she realized that said slim block of mechanics and technology was nowhere to be found. see in today's world misplacing your phone was a little bit of a big deal, a major inconvenience, and when you were a celebrity even more so.

"ohnonononono. abso-hecking-lutely /no/, where is it?!" she already had some idea of where she could have left her phone, back at the coffee shop and without giving it too much thought she dashed right back from the plaza to the shop, only to find its doors already closed and locked and the employees nowhere to be found- if she had to guess they were probably cleaning up in the back.

"I'm...in so much trouble, I've done it now how do I even go home without my phone? land navigation is not easy...and- oh my gosh forget about getting home what if someone kidnaps me?!...what if my managers won't pay the ransom fee?!" at this rate she didn't look like one of korea's top idols but moreso a crazy masked lady pacing around the city plaza talking to herself. no pun intended but she truly felt like a fish (mermaid) out of water.
