I'M APPLYING TO BE A VAMPIRE, DO I HAVE TO BE EVIL/A BAD GUY?
no, absolutely not! there are always those who go against the popular crowd. However, just because you're a 'good vampire' does not mean you aren't going to be judged automatically for your race. The vampires are historically known to be bloodthirsty, ruthless and self-serviant, it's hard to break centuries of caution and fear just for one vamp, ya know?

CAN I BE FRIENDS WITH A VAMPIRE?
absolutely, there are always exceptions to the rules :) but i'd love to see some juicey drama esp between the wolves and vamps

I'M APPLYING TO BE A FAERIE BUT YOU SAY THAT THEIR MAGIC IS RELATIVELY WEAK, WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?
compared to a magician, faerie magic is weak but they are considerably stronger than other species purely because they have magic at all. 

WHAT DOES IT MEAN BY 'GOING FERAL' AS A VAMPIRE? DO I REALLY HAVE TO DO THAT?
the short answer: sort of, yeah. 

the long answer: vampires in this world don't really have control over their bloodlust, it's not a thing unless they have an incredibly strong will which is highly unlikely. Unless they have a non vampire(ideally a magician or wolf) to watch them and monitor their intake, vampires will experience bloodlust and murderous rage for more. The government(in all countries) have strict regulations in place so that vampires are able to get the minimum requirement of blood needed daily to survive; no more, no less and it certainly isn't human blood(the most potent). The standard amount is 250 mL per day which will allow your vampire to function like a human being(if you exclude the sun burning them to ash). Hospitals keep extra blood bags for emergencies but they are under strong wards.

DO COVENS EXIST?
yep! and there are three kinds of covens: placid(friendly, extremely rare, only 3 exist in the world and they are very small in size), neutral(the most common type of coven, they don't actively break the law but are known to turn a blind eye if one in their coven acts out.) and hostile(rare and under constant watch, hostile covens are those who believe vampires should be in charge and have no qualms about doing what needs to be done to get what they want.)

WHAT KIND OF MAGIC CAN I DO AS A FAERIE OR MAGICIAN?
as a faerie, you're welcome to specialise in a particular concept(earth, air, fire, light, water, electricity, luck, etc.) but say you're an earth faerie, you won't be able to do things like create an earthquake(not without some serious, potentially life threatening magic boosters anyways) or a landslide but you can grow plants, manipulate them to your will, etc. 

for a magician, I would draw inspiration from novels such as Lev Grossmans The Magicians or the Inheritance Cycle. Magicians are arguably the strongest since their magic can be the most varied and they are usually the ones to create items found in protection shops.

WHAT CAN MY FAERIE WINGS LOOK LIKE?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN YOU SAY FAERIES HAVE A UNIQUE COLOUR?
similar to their wings, faeries have a colour associated to them depending on their magic. Fire faeries may have reds, oranges, etc as their colour scheme, water faeries may be blues and purples, etc.

WHY CAN'T I APPLY AS A DRAGON/UNICORN/KRAKEN/WHATEVER?
because i consider them to be high fantasy over supernatural plus.. they aren't humanoid in any shape or form lmao I realise I could just say that you can shift but nah, I've never been a huge fan of that concept.

WHAT CREATURES LIKE MERMAIDS/SATYRS/CENTAURS?
those species are allowed! since they all feature an upper human body, you're welcome to apply but you need to remember that aside from mermaids, you can't shift at all. Even mermaids are limited in their ability to have legs and tend to stick to under water.

WHAT ABOUT ANGELS/DEMONS/NEPHILIM?
all are allowed but don't be fooled, just because you apply for one of these creatures doesn't mean you're all powerful. Angels are often on earth temporarily, they have wings(standard) and basic white magic(they can't heal wounds meant to kill but they can certainly heal a nasty broken bone painlessly). Demons do not have wings and they have basic black magic, they often treat vampires as pets since they're an direct biological offshoot. Nephilim are the same as angels but much, much weaker; they usually have wings(not all the time) and their white magic tends to be in the clairvoyant and psychic category.

WHY CAN'T ANDROIDS KNOW THAT THEY'RE ANDROIDS?
for the same reason that we don't want Terminator to actually happen lol imagine living your whole life, believing that you're alive only for your family and friends to turn around one day and tell you that you're nothing more than a robot. It would be traumatising and could inspire revenge and retaliation.
