below is a list of questions and answers that were not clarified in the main page of the roleplay. it would be beneficial for not only current members of the roleplay to look at this, but incoming members or people looking to reserve as well.
1. where is yeongwon located in south korea?
you can refer to the location of yeongwon in a map linked here. (It's the area denoted by the red x.)
2. what timing does yeongwon follow? and how fast does time move ic compared to ooc?
yeongwon follows kst (korean standard time). there is no difference between ic and ooc time other than the timezone provided.
3. what modes of transport are available in yeongwon?
the only modes of transport in yeongwon are walking, biking, scooter and electric scooters, along with two small intercity buses. boats are exclusively used for livelihood, like fishing. there is no airport, ports, or train station.
4. what kind of housing is available in yeongwon?
there are apartments available for those who can't afford the more expensive houses in the beach fronts, such as uptown or downtown.
5. what are diary entries for? frequency of writing diaries? how and how to submit them?
diary entries are there to keep track of activity, and can even help with in character immersion for a roleplayer. diary entries are expected to be entered weekly in the diary room, just send a post there and you fill in your weekly quota!
6. can I change jobs in yeongwon? can i not have a job at all?
yes you can! just notify the admins through the roles room, and denote a change there. you can also have no job at all, but keep realism in mind. as in, they have someone they live with to pay their bills, or if they're in the process of job hunting.
7. what do job roles play a part in this rp, are additional activities needed?
job roles are there to keep track of what occupation your character has, and can be helpful for other roleplayers to find people to plot with more efficient. additional activities are not necessary, any kind of activity that pertains to your characters job is in your discretion.
8. what kind of education is available in yeongwon?
yeongwon has its own community city college, along with a combined school of elementary and middle school grades, and its own high school.
9. what kinds of job can you get in yeongwon?
any kind of job under any field can work, as long as it pertains to the wholesome vibe of the roleplay. meaning the only exceptions to this are occupations related to adult work.
