- Lohefalter Estate

@• scaramouche • An odd and strange feeling pooled in his guts when he made his way out of the estate as if someone was watching over him. He stopped walking and turned around, looking up at the estate. When he saw no one by the windows at any window, he tilted his head and continued out of the place.

In the back of his mind he knew it would only take minutes until Scara would notice his disappearance if he hadn't already but he had secretly hoped that maybe he wouldn't notice for a little bit. Maybe when he returned, he would have to face some questioning but if this business trip went successful, he would be back with some new medicine that maybe he could use as excuse for his little trip.

@• ajax • As he lay in place, something seemed off; he couldn't tell if it was the way the air shifted or if his own thoughts had turned into paranoia but he knew it was something. Sitting up to peer out of the window, he got his answer with ease and with a click of his tongue, he settled against the sill, elbow propped and chin against his palm. The entire Lohefalter family, it's staff and even the Fatui knew that nothing slipped past the head of the name; not a single detail about anyone who stepped foot on the compound got by him. Be it him catching word on his own, one of the maids stopping by to tell him or simply the eyes and ears that were planted all through Teyvat - Scara would know one way or the other.

His fingers moved in a slow rhythm, falling gracefully against the smooth skin of his cheek as he watched the ginger mouse slipped from the maze that was his residence. He'd heard multiple things; he had multiple reasons to be skeptical. A maids eyes could catch sight of quite the information when someone wasn't looking over their shoulder and he grew curious; he grew to be many things but he would allow him to leave, the go on his little adventure. It was only when he returned that Scara would speak but like clockwork, his thoughts were interrupted by a knock before the sound of the door opening.

He wondered briefly if all the misery he'd felt since dawn could be seen on his features.

@• scaramouche • Ajax stared at his phone for a little bit before sliding out of his bed. He peeked out his door before slipping out with his small backpack, looking around with a slight alert. It wasn't like he was sneaking out or doing anything wrong but he also didn't exactly want to run into anyone on his way out. He had already informed one of the maids on everything that needed to be done for the next 3 days while he was planning to be away and made sure the maid knew exactly what to do at any given moment when it came to Scara. He was worried, yes, but he just couldn't pass up on this opportunity of a new medicine that could be beneficial for his condition.

He had a plan that sounded perfect in his head. He would head on over to Inazuma, stay over and meet up with the person who agreed to hand him the new medicine, then meet up with a 'friend' and then be back and there wouldn't be too much of a problem, hopefully.

@• tartaglia • Sullen barely began to describe the expression held by Scara as he tucked into the window seat, blankets pulled around him as he watched out the frosty glass, his bones chilled just from the thought of being outside. He often wandered why the family kept the compound where it was considering the temperatures of Sneznhaya being one number from unbearable; he, especially, wasn't able to handle it. He caught himself going back and forth in his thoughts, almost like he was running from a topic he didn't want to face but couldn't exactly pin point what it was - it couldn't possibly be the nagging jealousy that always seemed to linger. Scara wasn't very shy with letting people know how he felt when it came to agitation, annoyance or any other ill emotions, but when it came to the things that made him feel small or icky, those were kept in a tiny box at the back of his mind, under several locks and keys.

He took notice, quite quickly, of a specific absence of one of the family staff and it did something to unnerve him. It shouldn't have, not at all, but what was he supposed to do about that? He could easily just get rid of the person that caused so much emotional rift, a single flick of his wrist and anyone he chose would disappear. In the end, he still forced his thoughts to move through filial business, political stance, and things around the compound; things he could control. Shifting to more or less fall back against the seat, he stared up at the ceiling, expression falling into something more empty and he began counting the marks above him, something he'd done a thousand times over from sheer boredom. He wasn't sure of the time but he expected someone in for food and medicine soon, gradually letting his eyes close as he waited.
