definitely the first song i thought of when making this character. it fits well into the character as heejin is a self-sacrificing sort of character, and this song seems to be of someone who is trying to play a part for another person to gain their favour (but has yet to truly put their faith in them?), and that is the sort of feeling i wanted heejin to have. i am still working out details of heejin's character but this song is a good starting off point.

This song, specifically this cover, I share because I feel like the meaning of it will be very relevant to the story I want to tell with Sana. There are different interpretations of this song, but the recurring one I see is about a woman being tempted and building oneself up to ultimately see the reality of everything and feel the unfortunate sting that comes with it. In Sana's case, that will be centered around her coming to terms with her villainous side, flirting with the idea of wanting to be good, but ultimately realizing that being good may not be for her. That she's forever tainted by her past and she cannot escape the path she's found herself on.
