"well, okay! if you don't believe me then i can.--" then she looks around and sees people don't see much in here so she pulls her hair up as high as possible before her head was taken off from her body with a 'pop!' as minjeong is a doll puppet. "see?" minjeong smiles whiile her head is still in her hand before taking it back to her slot with a 'click'.

@❛ ⚜ ₊ heejin j. ʳᵃᵇᵇᶦᵗ ᵒᶠ ᵗʰᵉ ᵐᵒᵒᶰ chaewon hated the little apartment she lived in.

sure, it was better than what she had seen when she was first introduced to tall-tale tower, and it was situated above a quaint and lovely cafe, but there were many things to dislike about living in the apartment.

firstly, it was way too small. it just simply paled in comparison to the mansion and castle that chaewon lived in before. but with a lack of funds (curse manhattan's skyrocketing apartment rentals), chaewon had no choice but to settle for less. at least, it wasn't tall-tale tower (chaewon still shudders at the thought).

secondly, despite its small size, the apartment got dusty way too quickly. chaewon had never known that dust could accumulate so quickly, mainly because she always had people to clean her room for her. but now, she had to do it herself, a broom and dustpan now in hand.

as she pushed the couch away from the wall to clean behind the couch, chaewon found the third thing she hated about the apartment.

at the slight push, out came a cockroach, speeding out from the depths of darkness and towards chaewon herself. at the attacker's advance, there was nothing chaewon could do but let out a blood-curdling scream.

@❛ ⚜ ₊ minjeong k. ᵖᶦᶰᵒᶜᶜʰᶦᵒ Heejin tilted her head to the side. The girl before her— she was cute. Heejin wasn’t sure if she was a fable or not, but she remembered Soojung mentioning something along that sort, that they met through the Fable Town chat. Perhaps she was, but Heejin couldn’t put her finger on exactly… What it could be.

“Hello Minjeong.” Heejin gave her a warm smile and reached out to shake her hand. “Oh, a baker would be super helpful for me personally. But, for now, I think Soojung needs some help in the front there. So that you don’t feel overworked and all over the place.”

With a frown, Heejin placed her clipboard on the table before her. “Oh—” She wasn’t sure if she believed Minjeong. She didn’t have much experience doing interviews herself, but she wondered if Minjeong was trying to up to get the job. Well, not like anyone else was trying to get the job anyway. “Well, I wouldn’t wanna work you too hard. I think for now, we can work you on the cashier, and then we can show you some things around with the barista job. It would be great for you to take longer shifts, but I don’t wanna… Work you to the bone, you know?”

minjeong walked inside the store, still dressed in a more college outfit with her glamour necklace hidden beneath it. she looked around the store and gaped her jaw in awe at how cute and beautiful their store is, then she sees one of the owners of the store and bows at them.

"yes, hello! i'm kim minjeong, applying for the cashier position, but i can bake and brew coffee too!" she introduced herself to heejin with a smile on her face before she was asked by the latter about the job. "well, i don't usually do it for money entirely, i can take the whole shift from day to night so that people won't take a break being a cashier." because of her advantage as a living puppet, she can have no rest or eat meal. she's not human and can be a restless worker all day and all night.

Tapping her pen against her clipboard, Heejin read through the paper pinned to it. She had already read it over at least three times by this point, but she wanted to make the appearance of her focused concentration on the resume before her to be tactical and.... Well, it's what she saw them do in the movies. She had hired a few people in the past but she was by no means an expert at it.

"So, you want to work here?" Heejin flashed a smile. "What interests you about this position? If you want to say money, you can." She chuckled. "I'd understand."
