⊹ ∶ bar

@⊹ felix lee. the first mention of felix's birthdate already had jisung grinning a cheshire cat smile, like he had won some contest. the mention of the year then had him almost rubbing his hands, like one of those flies, in glee. "aha! so i am older!" jisung bragged as he puffed out his chest, extending his upper body in his seat. "i was born in 2000," he continued, "september fourteenth." it was only when jisung said his own birthday outloud that the realisation hit him, the thrill of winning whatever competition they had now a second thought. eyes widening in shock, he exclaimed, "our birthdays really /are/ one day apart!" then, with a playful glint in his eye and a nudge to felix, he added, "one year and one day apart, actually, kid."

it was funny how the two were having such childish and small "competitions", but jisung was enjoying every minute of feeling his youth. it was a small thought at the back of his mind, but jisung wondered if this was what all the kids were doing back in their high school days.

jisung nodded, welcoming the idea of getting that pink lemonade. "sounds lovely." he made a small "ooh" sound at felix's description of the malibu sunset, which seemed to be a much better fit to jisung's taste.

jisung picked up the drink as soon as the two glasses reached them, eager to fill his mouth with what he hoped would be a much sweeter flavour. he took a sip of the drink as he listened to felix, and his eyes immediately lit up at the sweeter taste that washed over his tongue preceding the aftertaste of alcohol. jisung had just barely tasted the drink when felix made his joke, and he quickly gulped down whatever was left in his mouth before he could spit it out when he laughed. when the laughter died down, jisung pointed at the glass in his hand and said, "yeah, this one is way better."

jisung turned to face felix fully, straightening his back and sitting up straight, as the other did his investigation. hearing felix's first guess, jisung couldn't help but beam with pride. "so, you think i have good fashion?" he striked a pose, extending his legs in his seat to show off his jeans and putting his hands on his hips. "but unfortunately, fashion is merely a hobby, and not my occupation," he said with a shrug. he then took his turn to look felix up and down. "your fashion sense is cool too, but if you ever want a change of style, i could dress you professionally," he said, doing jazz hands at the last word.

clapping his hands, jisung continued to host their small game. "okay, so two guesses left, lix!"

@⊹ han jisung. he nodded his head back, eyes still wide and blinking in surprise that the other really did live in australia at some point. he wondered how he wasn't able to develop an accent, even if he had only been there for a short time, but before he opened his mouth to ask, they were talking about something different. he was sure there would be another time to ask him about it. felix scoffed, waving a hand now as he held his chin up and confidently spoke, "september fifteenth," he paused, eyes now squinting as he added his birth year to better help his case, "two-thousand one. when's yours? and don't lie, hanji!"

it seemed like it was for the millionth time that night that he found himself smiling at jisung's reactions, only this time it was paired with trying not to burst into laughter. it was blatantly obvious that his friend's words from the beginning rang true; he was NOT a drinker. but that was okay. for the sake of the other's pride, he wouldn't too much. for now. he couldn't vouch for how he would begin to act once the alcohol settled in his system. "i'll order you one, then. how's that sound?" felix took in a breath of air, humming as his eyes rested on the ceiling in thought, trying to compare that drink to his own alcohol tolerance, and one that might be of the male's beside him. "low alcohol level, lots of sugar. should be something we can just enjoy while we eat."
felix shrugged off the hand that was on his shoulder playfully, an eye-roll following after, but like many other time's this night, he couldn't help but laugh along with him. "wow, and you're supposed to be my friend? wooow."

their drinks finally arrived with the bartender informing them that their food would be out in another 5 minutes. he nodded and thanked them appreciatively, pushing one of the cocktails closer to jisung, eyes shining in anticipation at how his friend would like it. "i don't think i agreed to be a 'personal chauffeur,' but hey, whatever feeds the delusions, i guess." he leaned in to take a sip of his drink, but was cut short by his friend furthering his own joke, another dramatic "wow" leaving his lips. "at this point, we should've just went to a comedy club, have you stand on stage and i be the only one in the audience."

finally successful in trying the drink he ordered for them, he hummed in content, quickly going back in for another taste. just as he mentioned, the taste of alcohol wasn't too apparent. it was more of the sugar and sweeteners that they used that he could taste, and he hoped it would be of a similar taste that jisung liked. "only three? okay, okay, fine. i can work with that." felix's hands clasped together, pressing against his lips as he began to analyze jisung from head to toe. "okay, i'm thinking, something to do with fashion? maybe you dress other people professionally? or even just design clothes for a living?"

@⊹ lee jeno. As Taekwoon witnessed Jeno tell his friends bye, they both walked to the latters nearby hotel and once they made it Taekwoon was relieved as he was really tired by this time.
Taking a moment to enjoy the huge hotel room, he looked around with a smile and watched as Jeno let go of his arm. “I’ll take a shower if you don’t mind. Sleeping without showering just makes me feel weird..” Taekwoon stated with a sheepish smile while slipping off his shoes. Walking over to the obvious bathroom and then looked back to Jeno.
“Got any towels anywhere? If you don’t mind letting me borrow some clothing..that’d be nice of you. I can wash them and return them to you when I see you next.” He chuckled lightly while watching Jeno slightly drunken around. “Did you want to shower first or me?” He questioned while crossing his arms to lean against the wall. He took this time to slightly check out Jeno who was indeed a very handsome male, his eyes trickled up and down but then he composed himself once more and kept it together.

@⊹ jung taekwoon. "yeah man, i'll be fine. i'll be going with taekwoon so don't worry about me. text me whenever you guys have landed safely at your own hotel rooms, ayt?" jeno reminded his friends and gave each of them a fist bump before turning his attention to taekwoon this time. with a drunk smile on his face, he takes the male's arm and hooks his own over the other's as they walk towards the exit. "yeah, off we go. uh well i booked the last minute and that premier room is the only one available so... i just grabbed it. my friends crashed on my hotel room during my first day anyway. and now i have you as my guest." he chuckled lowly as he tries to straighten the way he walks but the sand is not helping at all. jeno's chin is resting against taekwoon's shoulder while trying real hard to walk fast enough and luckily after 10 minutes, they arrived in front of his unit. he quickly fished out the keys from his pocket yet it clumsily fell down the floor so he picked it up before unlocking his door. he opens it up and gestures the other to come in first before he did. "please come in. just let yourself be comfortable." after closing the door behind them, a warm light welcomes them as well as the cold temperature of the aircon however, this does not seem helpful as jeno badly feels hot after drinking so much and walking outside. he started ing the rest of his shirt which reveals his chiseled chest while he walks towards his closet. "do you want to take a shower? or you're too drunk to do so? i can spare you a shirt and pair of shorts."

@⊹ lee jeno. Taekwoon watched as the other was clearly drunk and he internally couldn’t help but chuckle that staying at the hotel room with might be a little crazy but then again they both might just knock out as soon as they get there. Standing up first, Taekwoon took a glance around and told one of his friends that he was leaving before looking back to Jeno with a smile. “Come on Jeno. Lets go get some rest.” He stated while watching the other now stand up and give hugs to his friends before he gestured towards the exit of the club. “You ready to go?” He spoke with a tilt of his head in questioning while holding his arm out for the other so he could make sure he doesn’t fall on their way back and can keep him stable. “I can’t wait to hit a comfy bed, surprised you booked such a huge hotel room. Does that mean your pals will be coming back at some point or did they book separate rooms?”

@⊹ jung taekwoon. jeno can still feel how his cheeks are warm and red by now — not just because of the alcohol but maybe also because he's conversing with this handsome guy. "okay then hotel room it is. my room is pretty big so there's plenty of space for us honestly." he emits a light chuckle and pats the other's knee afterwards. "just let me know if we should get going by now while i can still walk. i'll just bid farewell to my friends. i'm a bit tired myself and i badly want to crash on my bed now though it's not that obvious." he nods a bit but not so much as he feels a little bit dizzy by now. jeno tried to stand up and cling on a couple of friends as he hugged them close and bids his goodbye.

@⊹ felix lee. jisung nodded earnestly, seeing felix's genuine curiosity. "yeah, but it was just a short stint, you get what i mean?" jisung said with a small chuckle, passing it off as a joke. that year in australia had been during his later teenage years, and his past self was a version of him that he wished that others, especially not his new friends, wouldn't have to meet. he quickly sped on to the next topic and puffed out his chest as he said, "if anything, /you/ would be the one born after me. there's no way i'm younger than you." jisung then nodded his head, as if to challenge felix, and asked, "so, let's find out, when's your birthday?"

jisung's jaw dropped slightly at felix's personal review of the drink, but with their informal challenge they had started, he quickly shut his opened mouth. "i can taste the alcohol, but that doesn't mean i can take it!" he said as crossed his arms. "but a pink lemonade does sound nice," he added hastily, not wanting to reject the idea of the pretty-sounding drink. jisung liked lemonade, so a /pink/ lemonade shot should be right up his alley. "will the," jisung paused to recall the names of the next drinks, "malibu sunsets go down any easier?" he asked, a weak smile on his face.

felix's poor defense of his case drew a laugh out of jisung and he couldn't take the rest of his argument seriously. jisung patted the other's shoulder, pretending to sympathise with the racer's struggles. "there, there," he began, before he switched up his stance. "just remember, the first step is always self-awareness." jisung then pulled back from felix, laughing at his own joke.

as he laughed, jisung nodded his head at felix's proposal. since he didn't have a driver's license (yet), being felix's passenger sounded very appealing. "okay, sounds like a plan! having the best driver in korea be my personal chauffeur," jisung sighed dreamily at the thought. he then paused, for dramatic effect, before adding, "though i should write a will before that."

jisung opened his mouth, ready to tell his friend his profession, but he quickly shut it as soon as felix brought up the idea of guessing. "yes, yes, i'd like to see you try!" he wiggled his eyebrow in an attempt to taunt the other. "i'll give you three tries."

@⊹ lee jeno. Taekwoon couldn’t help but slightly be taken back once he felt the others warm hand on his own. He definitely did not expect the other to be so bold but at the same time he didn’t mind it, he thought it was refreshing especially since he was a little weird about expressing himself fully. “Uh…hotel room maybe? I mean thats if you truly don’t mind. I could easily tell my buddies I’m heading back and go to my own hotel place.” He stated with a small smile as he took a glance around to even see where his friends ran off to and hoped that they weren’t getting in trouble either. He then turned his head to Jeno and tilted his head slightly with a question following his movement. “You aren’t tired? You seemed to have drank a lot. I would have been past out by now honestly.” He stated with a soft laugh escaping his lips.

@⊹ jung taekwoon. "I don't know but I'm just stating the truth about what I see." he nodded his head to reassure him once more and reaches to squeeze his hand. he didn't realize how close they are to feeling each other's breath when taekwoon turned to fix his gaze at him. jeno isn't really sure how he should react knowing his friends are just around them but who cares, right? they are in a bar anyway. a light cackle escapes from his mouth upon hearing the other's statement and jeno playfully patted his own shoulder. "if you're sleepy, just lean on me. it's free. but if you want, we can sneak out and i'll let you rest at my hotel room if you want? it's nearer here."

@⊹ han jisung. "did you really?" felix questioned, brown orbs shining with curiosity as he was not able to tell if jisung was being serious or not. if he was, the thought that they could've crossed paths earlier on in life definitely was swimming in his brain. "you did do a pretty good job at that accent, though, i'll give you that. wow, we're already so much alike. next thing i know is you'll probably tell me your birthday is a day after mine, or something." he pretended to eye jisung suspiciously for a few seconds, smile never slipping from his lips.

dropping his empty shot glass back against the counter, his wide eyes stared back at him, motioning with a laugh for the boy to finally drink it. when he did, it only made his body wrack harder with laughter at his reaction, the two clearly being on two different pages about the drink. "strong? if i'm being honest, i considered it to be one of the easiest drinks to go down. maybe i should've gotten you a pink lemonade shot." his fingers grabbed ahold of jisung's glass, pushing it near his own so that the bartender could grab them the next time he came past. he made a mental note in his mind (well, if he wasn't too drunk to remember throughout the night) to order things that were on the more fruity side, wanting to see if maybe his friend would do better with alcohol like that.

he clicked his tongue, pretending to be offended at the accusation jisung was throwing at him. "hey, i'm not /that/ bad when it comes to speeding. and anyways, everybody on the highways here go too damn slow! i can't help that i got places to be," he defended, nose scrunching up briefly before his lips formed themselves into a pout, as if that were the meanest thing he could've ever heard. "next time we hang out, we will not be drinking, and i will be able to properly show you my amazing, safe and of the speed limit, driving skills." felix nodded firmly, fixing his hair that began to drape in front of his eyes and block his vision.

"i meant to ask, but what do you do? i don't think i've seen you mention it, or at least, i was never in the chat when you'd talk about it," he threw his hands up, stopping himself from speaking as the next thought rushed out his mouth, without him thinking, "wait, wait! don't tell me. i think i can guess it."

@⊹ lee jeno. Once he got the okay to take a seat next to Jeno, he moved himself over and comfortably sat on the couch with a relieved sigh from giving his legs a break.
He realized he was still patting the others shoulder and removed his hand and placed it into his lap until he felt Jeno’s warm alcoholic breath near his face and he turned his eyes to meet the others, parting his lips to speak but was caught off guard by the blunt compliment and it caused him to be slightly fluster and cheeks reddening even more. “Oh wow. Thank you. I don’t do anything special…” he started to talk while he brought his hand behind his own neck to rub it in a manner to calm his nerves and heart racing as Jeno was inches away from their nose touching. “So…” he cleared his throat and glanced around the bar to distract himself.
“Will it sound old of me to say that I could totally sleep now..?” He awkwardly chuckled as he tried to start a casual conversation again, feeling the beat in his heart start to relax and not feeling flustered as much.

@⊹ jung taekwoon. jeno didn't seem to like jake's demeanor either as he seems to know something is up - the building tension reverberates towards them. he just scoffed once he heard what jake tried to warn him about and tried to maintain his composure. "no problem, man. just a friendly offer. also, can't stop it if he wants to hang out with me, right?" jeno muttered back to jake with a playful shrug before turning over to his friends to return the bottle once taekwoon also refused to have some. "that's ok, sorry for that. sure, you may take a seat anywhere here. i kinda need to rest too. been standing for 3 hours straight now." once he settled down on the vacant couch, he felt his cheeks heat up at the sudden boost of compliment which he wasn't really expecting. jeno releases a chortle as he runs his hand over his nape. "you think so? well, i was aiming to capture someone's attention so. and the girls? aha my guys are always like that. though i'm not that interested on any one of the girls they're teasing me with." he nods with reassurance and averts his gaze towards taekwoon whom he caught still checking him out. he moves a bit towards taekwoon and reaches to place his palm against his knee. "you look cool yourself. i mean, you really look good. yeah. you have this strong y aura, i must say." jeno might be talking too much since the alcohol is triggering his system but he still continued on complimenting the guy in front of him and admiring him under the dark, neon lights inside the bar.

@⊹ lee jeno. Jake wasn’t fond of Jeno because that meant competition for him. He simply ignored the fist bump and then released Taekwoon. ‘Nah man. I don’t drink alcohol from strangers and..’ Jake leaned over to whisper in Jeno’s ear so Taekwoon could not hear so he stood there awkwardly at the exchange. ‘Taekwoon is mine but he doesn’t know it. So back off mate.’ Jake said with a narcissist grin before patting Taekwoons shoulder and leaving to hang out with the rest of their group. “Oh..bye Jake.” He said with a questionable look as he was curious what he said to Jeno, as Taekwoon turned back to face Jeno he is met with the tip of s vodka bottle to his lips and he chuckled at the action. “I’ll kindly decline, I need to not drink so much and actually get us home safely.” As he spoke, he leaned over to set his alcoholic beverage down on a table nearby as he was done drinking but the spot that Jeno poked earlier on his chest still had a weird feeling that Taekwoon could feel. “It seems like I might be carrying you out too.” He made a small joke before pointing to the seat at their vip section. “Is it cool if I sit down? My legs hurt or I might go out for some fresh air.” He stated while eyeing Jeno who he thought looked very handsome tonight and approved of his outfit of choice. Reaching over to lightly pat the others shoulder with a wide smile “You look really good. No wonder your guys kept pushing girls up on you.”

@⊹ jung taekwoon. "oh wow, wasted huh? just your friends? what about you?" jeno poked the other's chest playfully knowing he himself is quite tipsy at the moment. his grip on Taekwoon's arm loosens until his arm is now settled back on his own side when some of Taekwoon's friends approached their group. jeno stood still before extending his fist out towards the guy named Jake. "hey man, the name's Jeno. it's nice to meet you." He looked at him from head to toe as if checking out if this might be someone he is seeing since the amount of possessiveness is present in the room. anyway, jeno disregarded the thought and instead grabbed a bottle of tequila and held it in the air. "i say, who wants some shot?? right from the bottle. taekwoon? jake?" he grins as he draws closer and offered the bottle to aim at their mouths.

@⊹ lee jeno. “Yeah..I’m good” Taekwoon responded with a slow nod from his head before he laughed at the other advising him the obvious that it IS crowded in the bar but he simply glanced over to their VIP table and was slightly impressed people actually still do that. “Uh..I think my friends plan on getting super wasted and then knocking out later possibly vomit..who knows.” A slightly embarrassed chuckle left his lips as he did hate it when they threw up because that meant he was on clean up duty.
And right on the topic of friends, the one guy friend of Taekwoon came back and interrupted their conversation by being loud and obnoxious, “Hey Taek! What are you doing over here?” He slightly slurred his words before glancing at Jeno and his friends expression changed to a more dominating aura and a sense of possessiveness as he hooked his arm around Taekwoon’s neck and pulled him close to his side. “Who are you? I’m Jake.” Taekwoon’s friend introduced himself while glaring down Jeno but Taekwoon was oblivious to Jake’s demeanor and kindly spoke “Jake this is Jeno. I met him earlier and now we are getting to know each other as pals.” As he spoke he looked up to Jake with a nod and chuckled at his friends drunken self.

@⊹ jung taekwoon. jeno just enjoyed his drink as alcohol pretty much refreshes his tired soul but he is not that of a heavy drinker — he just drinks for casual fun. he leaned closer against the male to further here what he is saying not until their faces almost bumped against each other. jeno was quick to hold taekwoon by his arms to help him regain his balance and emits a nervous chuckle—can't deny his inner soul almost jumped out of him at the sudden close proximity. "hey, you good? you gotta get used to being pushed through every now and then. this bar is packed. not sure with my friends if we'll transfer since they paid for this vip section." he gestures over their table while his hand is still holding the other's arm. "what about you guys? got any plans after this?"

@⊹ lee jeno. Taekwoon chuckled at Jeno’s comment about meeting again in the night as he agreed with a head nod.
“True..we meet again.” He stated with a soft smile before he felt the arm of Jeno’s suddenly around him when he introduced all his friends names to Taekwoon and he tried to remember the names to faces as best as he could but he knew he might still get it mistaken later on if he met them once again in the future. He glanced back to Jeno with a friendly smile and clicked his glass back to Jeno’s before taking a sip out of the straw to his drink. “I am having a good time. But it is a lot of noise and people around so its kinda hard for me to actually focus on a conversation. I’m sure you are having fun though?” He questioned back with a tilt of his head and curiosity. “You guys staying here or are you guys hitting up bar to bar?” He said with loud enough voice before he felt a slight push from someone dancing and was then smooshed into Jeno and he immediately got tensed and a slight tint of blush made its way to his cheeks “s-sorry” he spoke while adjusting his step back and collecting his composure.

@⊹ jung taekwoon. jeno was handed over a glass of cocktail and he just took a long sip from it as he was suddenly thirsty. as he sees the man approaching him, he grins followed by a deep chuckle before whispering back against his ear so he can hear him as well. "yeah, guess what you said earlier was facts. i might see you and here you are again." some of jeno's guy friends went over to grab themselves another round of drinks and notices the unfamiliar tall figure by his side. when he was about to introduce him, taekwoon beat him to it. it caused him to chuckle as he places an arm around the taller's shoulder. "right guys, meet my new recruit to our group." he playfully gave his shoulders some gentle pats while introducing his friends to the latter one by one. hoping he could remember all of their names. after which, the group shifted their attention back to their own agendas. now it's time to speak again with taekwoon and he clinks his glass against his to offer a toast. "cheers? are you enjoying it here?"

@⊹ lee jeno. The music got louder and the people got louder too.
Taekwoon decided on a vodka mixed blue raspberry drink, he took the glass with the straw and started to sip on it while his friends downed shots after shots.
He knew he would be keeping an eye on them tonight but then they went off to the dance floor leaving him behind. With a low laugh at their dorkiness ways, he glanced around the bar before his brown orbs met with a familiar face. Youngster Jeno who happened to notice Taekwoon also, he caught on to the gestured nod to come over and with that he slowly made his way over being to take his drink with him. As he approached Jeno, he welcomed him with a friendly smile , taking his head to lean over and whisper in the others ear but loud enough for him to hear him over the loud music. “Coincidence, right? Are you having fun? Nice to see you here.” He stated as he then leaned away taking yet another sip of his drink but the redness of Jeno’s cheeks definitely noticeable to Taekwoon and he mentally noted that Jeno might be slightly drunk. He was then bombarded by other guys with girls who he assumed were Jeno’s friends and he gave a small wave with a smile as they questioned who he was. “Hi I’m Taekwoon. Jeno’s pal that he just met earlier today.”

@⊹ jung taekwoon. once all the shot glasses were filled in with liquor, jeno pulled his friends by the shoulders and dragged them onto the table to offer them some shots. he grabbed one for himself and raised it in the air for a quick toast. "to more liquors and parties, my bros! cheers, aye!" they all cheered before downing their drinks in one go without any form of chaser. after several shots, jeno and his guys joined some of the crowd to dance to the beat of the music. some of his friends are already out of sight and busy looking for a fun time. he doesn't really mind as long as his friends will not cause any trouble. shots here and there were distributed to them from a different group yet since it's free, they happily downed the drinks, causing jeno's cheeks to heat up at the amount of liquor he just consumed. as some of his guy friends are pushing one another, teasing over some girls or guys over the crowd, jeno accidentally bumped onto a taller figure yet he is not quick to recognize him since his eyes are out there focused on having fun with his friends though he just muttered a short apology. "jeno, come over here! someone wants to get your number" - his friends starts to over a girl but he just went with the flow and started talking to her casually. not until his eyes averted somewhere else - or should he say someone familiar? he waits for the male to recognize him too and when he did, he shoots him a nod over his direction.

@⊹ lee jeno. Taekwoon took his time to get ready as his friends wanted to meet up later in the night when the bar/club got busier for a more eventful night. So he took this opportunity to freshen up by showering, fixing his hair neatly, a spritz of cologne and then changing into a white button up shirt with all black denim jeans and casual yet formal sneakers to go along with the outfit. He checked the time and it was around 9pm so he nodded and scurried downstairs grabbing his phone to shove in his back pocket, wallet, and then placing in his signature earrings on along with a matching silver diamon necklace that wasn’t too extravagant and very lowkey.
“Coming coming!” He yelled as he roamed downstairs, laughing as he reached them before they all walked down the road a few streets before hitting the bar, showing his ID at the entrance, Taekwoon glanced around and noticed how crowded it was and immediately felt out of his comfort zone but he was happy to be with his friends. “Alright boys..drinks?” He suggested with a inquisitive expression before smiling brightly and then they all chuckled on their way to the bar passing a group of boys that kept screaming ‘shot’ but Taekwoon didn’t pay any mind as one of his friends hooked their arm around in his neck and kept him close while chatting him up. ‘Taek! You gotta get lit tonight man.’ His friend stated and Taekwoon could only snicker before speaking “I think you’ll be the one getting lit and I’ll be dragging you home..” he teased softly with a cheeky grin while they managed to squeeze through the crowd to the bar counter.

@⊹ jung taekwoon. as the jeno and taekwoon both parted ways by the beach, he decided to take a warm shower in his hotel room first before dressing himself up for the party he is going to attend to later tonight. after putting on a black polo with open chest and a pair of white khaki shorts he began to choose a pair of shoes to wear and he opted to using his white adidas kicks. his mobile phone rang a few times before he took the time to answer it knowing that it's just one of his guy friends for sure. "oh yeah man, i'm about to leave in a while. be there in 15. ayt, see ya." jeno drops the call afterwards and grabs onto his important belongings: wallet and his mobile phone of course.

the bar isn't that far from his room so he took a nice stroll by the beach and the wind sends cold shivers on his open-chested outfit. as he walks through the sandy beach bar, the memory of him and taekwoon earlier popped into his head - remembering that he might or might not see him again tonight. though a part of him sort of wants to see him for a drink but who knows? once he recognizes the place, he easily spots one of his guys and they both exchanged brotherly hugs and fist bumps before fully entering the bar. jeno is quite well-known in this bar since he used to work here as a dj before so some of the bouncers and girls he knew greeted him. jeno's friends already booked a table at the patton corner so he just tossed his hands up with his other friends as he hadn't seen most of them for months now. after all the greetings and chit chats, he took a seat and starts pouring some tequila on the shot glasses sitting right on their table while a couple of his friends are shouting "shot, shot, shot"

@⊹ felix lee. felix's little attempt at being smug instead made jisung want to reach over and pinch his friend's cheek. however, considering that it was their first meeting, despite how well they clicked, jisung resisted the urge to do so. but there was no guarantee that he would be able to stop himself once there was alcohol in his system.

jisung pretended to fall for felix's lie, gasping in pretend shock. "oh my, i would have been at the bottom of that class," he said, trying to sound disappointed at the thought of this made-up test. jisung then quickly dropped the act and gave felix a light shove that came with a light laugh. "unfortunately, i studied in 'stralia for a year," he said, mimicking felix's accent for the country name, "and i'm pretty sure i never learnt anything like that."

jisung listened to felix's little speech before his toast, and replied, "thank you for the consolation and cheers to one day getting my license!" he quickly raised his glass as felix clinked his own against it and watched his friend down his own drink. after staring at the liquid inside his glass, jisung followed suit and swallowed his drink in a quick gulp.

jisung lets out a small "ah" as the alcohol goes down his throat and turns to his friend. "dear expert, would you consider this one strong, because i can really taste the alcohol," he said as he put down the glass in his hand. "also, you're one of the best, if not, /the/ best driver, i know," jisung began. though, to be fair, he didn't know many drivers to begin with. "but if i have you as a teacher, i think my next practical test will have me marked down for speeding instead." he poked the other's forearm as he gave a little verbal jab, "i remember you talking a lot about going crazy on the highway in the chat."

@⊹ han jisung. felix shrugged jokingly, trying his hardest to display what he thought was a cocky smirk (when in reality, it was more of a boyish grin). "let's put it to the test then, shall we? i look forward to gloating in your drunken face." another snicker left him as his hand came to adjust his shirt. he was obviously ever-so-excited for the drinks they were about to consume, but his stomach rumbling made him crave the food they just ordered as well.

"i do, i do. when you grow up in the great land of 'stralia, you need to know every alcohol shelf, front to back. it was on my high-school final exam, i swear!" his hands raised to further prove his 'sincerity,' grin from earlier only widening and the apples of his cheeks burning pink from smiling so much. he can't remember the last time he's felt at ease this quickly.

"you failed it? really?" the male couldn't believe it, whether it be because he's been accustomed to cars and driving them since probably before he should've even been on the road, or because— well, there was really no other good reason, but he was still shocked. waving his hand to make his friend feel better, he made the most nonchalant face he could muster at the moment and shrugged his shoulders. "that's alright! i've heard this more often than you'd believe. if you did well on the writing, i have no doubt in my mind that you'll pass the practical test. and," he paused, thanking the bartender who dropped off their shots, passing one to jisung, "you now have one of the best driver's in the country at your side. i'll make sure you pass with flying ing colors. cheers!"

clinking the shot against his friend's, he swallowed the drink whole, tongue jewelry accidentally clinking against the glass.

@⊹ felix lee. jisung wasn't one to give in too easily, and at felix's light tease, he was quick to reply. "oh? is this a challenge?" he asked, eyes glinting with mischief. "i don't know how much i can drink, but surely, it can't be less than yours." in actual fact, jisung was pretty sure that he couldn't drink as much as felix could, but it seemed like it wouldn't matter that night.

as felix took the lead to order the drinks, jisung let out little 'ooh's at what were foreign names to him. after the bartender had left to prepare the drinks, jisung immediately said to felix, "fancy. you sure do know your stuff."

jisung mirrored felix's action, placing his own elbow atop the bar as he hummed in thought at felix's question. jisung's days were usually the same: eat, write, sleep, repeat. but recently, he had been trying to try new things, and immediately, one thing came to mind.

"well, a few days ago, i failed my driving test," jisung laughed in embarrassment, looking away slightly. "i aced the theory test and headed into the practical one with confidence, but the reversing really messed me up." he then turned to look at felix. "this must be quite funny to hear, since you basically drive for a living."
