@⊹ lee jeno. @⊹ kim yerim. jisung quickly accepts the high five, albeit weakly, still not used to the atmosphere in the nightclub. "i came down from my loft, actually, so it was a quick trip," he laughed. "i'm a cocktail kind of guy, actually," he shared, eyeing the drinks the on the table. "and thanks, jeno, i think i'll need some alcohol in my system to calm my nerves," he said before reaching out for one of the cocktail glasses. as yerim approached, he quickly greeted her with a smile. with more acquaintances around, he felt a little better. "i just came, but i think i'll need a little more time before i can say i'm enjoying myself." raising his glass, he nodded at jeno's proposition. "yes, sure!"

@⊹ kim yerim. @⊹ han jisung. jeno grinned from ear to ear after seeing one of his buddies and offered a high five in the air as a form of greeting. "hey jisung my bro! glad you're able to come. how was the ride going here? oh yeah! this club surely looks like one. by the way what do you usually drink? i ordered us some cocktail and beers". he points at the glasses sitting on the table and later on recognizes yerim. jeno waved and offered a friendly hug to welcome her. "yerim! welcome here! glad you came. we just started talking but we'll definitely be enjoying the night. shall we do some shots first to welcome the night?"

the itch of having to socialize outside the confinement of her own home and personal work space is always present even if crowds are a tough nut to crack. tonight feels a different night, however, the moment she steps in the club everyone was gushing about for the first time; waves of people rather calming than of intimidating. a few check (thorough examination) on the dj booth and seeing what she could guess are jisung and jeno, yerim rushes over to the lads and gives both of their backs a single pat of greeting. "hi, you two. enjoying yourselves so far?"

jisung takes a leap of faith and approaches the dj booth, with the knowledge that jeno was a dj. his venture pays off, as he sees his friend stepping away from the booth. happy to see a familiar face, jisung quickly waves as speeds up. "hello jeno!" he says. "thanks for inviting me." he looks around the club before continuing. "it does really look like what i've seen on tv shows."

jeno puts away his musical equipment in the dj booth after playing shortly for the crowd. he was eager to come tonight as he invited some of his friends over to finally have fun and live a little. seeing that his friends will be arriving anytime soon, jeno already reserved a good spot for them, just right in front of the dj booth where a cocktail table stands and some drinks are already served. he's noy sure which one to order so he did ask for some cocktails and beers from one of his bartender friends.

walks into the nightclub, having just come down the stairs, and looks around the room, searching for the faces he had arranged to meet prior. quickly moves to the side of the room, shying away from the crowd at the dancefloor for now.

@⊹ choi arin. jeno smiles behind her upon hearing what she just muttered and continued on teaching her some tricks. "arin. what i nice name. i'm jeno. lee jeno. it's cool to know that you also work in this building. means we can hang out during our free time. that is if you still want to meet me again after this." he emits an audible chuckle; he feels how she is now close against his body which he didn't mind at all. "i'm going to raise the beats up to pump these people out there alright? you can also dance while you just click on this yellow button. it's used so that there is this sick beat to it." he leans towards her ear so she can clearly hear what he's saying and after that, he and the other dj beside them played some on trend house party music and everyone dances and jumps here and there as they have the best night of their lives.

@⊹ lee jeno. surprisingly engrossed into the entire dj setup, arin's eyes flicker around out of curiosity, unintentionally missing the not-so-subtle wink that he flashes her, but definitely not letting his words go unacknowledged. she turns to him with a somewhat wide pair of eyes, lips eventually tipping up into a smile. "well, i feel lucky." she feels a little bashful when he takes her hand and guides her to the buttons, fascinated at the sounds they produce, but also shy beneath his gaze. "oh, sorry about that. i'm arin," she says above all the music, of course with a subtle lean in for him to hear her. "choi arin. i work here! well, not /here/ here, upstairs."

@⊹ choi arin. "of course it's ok. you know what, a lot of girls actually wants your spot right now. they usually go up here and join me so don't worry. i got you." he playfully winks at her and grins as he pulls her to stay on his side while he prepares his dj mixer and starts to dab his fingers onto the disk and presses a few buttons to create a smooth, upbeat rhythm. "It's easy. but before anything else, what's your name?" he gazes at you under the dark light and guides your hand onto the mixer and teaches you how some buttons work while swaying his other hand into the air.

@⊹ cha eunwoo. the crowd gets hyped as he sings, thanks to eunwoo's show making skills. in turn, mingyu enjoys the stage even more, becoming already more enthusiastic and energized than he already was. grinning, the chorus of the song steadily arrives and as he hears eunwoo belt the lyrics of the song, mingyu couldn't have been more proud. he laughs, cutting his singing mid-way with a breathless laugh when eunwoo geta a little too bit hypeman and goes off-key just in the slightest. it doesn't matter however, all that matters is that they don't care, have no shame and are having fun. he then puts his arm around eunwoo as well, returning the gesture to his new friend

gathering himself, mingyu takes a deep breath to sing the latter part of the chorus, the song's high key making him stretch his low toned voice, to the point his voice was cracking and also going off-key. "come on, let your colors burst~ make'em go oh, oh, oh, you're gonna leave'em in awe, awe, awe!" mingyu then does a spin-around, trying to make a dance of some sort to the song, even doing an unnecessary body wave

@⊹ lee jeno. arin is undoubtedly clueless as to what prompts her to follow his guidance so willingly; she bashfully cowers when he seemingly protects her from the soft shoulders bumps of other club patrons, and doesn’t question much when he maneuvers them through the crowd and up to the dj booth. instead of being skeptical of his actions, she takes another sip of her mojito and lightly grazes her fingernail across one of the records, careful to not actually touch it without approval. “is it alright to be here?” she turns to him, evidently fascinated by the amount of technology involved, but also wondering if she could test it out. “show me how to do it, just a bit!”

@⊹ choi arin. "i see then. you are one tough woman. you see, a lot of predators are around so you better be careful. regulars here do know who are new to these things." he nods as if suddenly being protective of the female when a few guys are bumping their bodies towards arin. he moves on the other side and stands tall as if sending those guys a signal that he's with her. "do you want to explore something? let's transfer to the front." jeno decides and grabs her by the wrist as they cross the crowd towards the other side and heads onto the dj booth. there's only 15 minutes left so he needs to prepare his spot now. the female is still clueless as to why he led her at the dj booth but he'll leave the smart guessing to her.

@⊹ lee jeno. regardless of his reason for managing the way through the crowd and keeping her company, arin believes that she must’ve looked pitiful; she was alone, sober, and severely overdressed. she didn’t quite fit in at all, but that’s why she feels all the more grateful for his presence. “well, i’m definitely one of those people.” it takes her a moment to think over his questions, but judging from his smile and how natural he appears at the club, he truly seems harmless. “just curious,” she says, leaning in a tad for him to hear her better. “i’m a little new around here, don’t have much friends.”

@⊹ choi arin. he thought she'd reject the offer but a smile curls up on jeno's lips as the female accepted the drink and carefully transfers the cold glass to her hand. "sure thing. lonely? well kind of. i mean, i get to know who are those people that aren't used to partying. so why did you come in here? did a friend invite you over or you were just curious?" he takes another round of sipping and his drink is now on its half. head slightly bobbing to the rhythm of the music being played.

@⊹ lee jeno. for the next five minutes, arin feels her eyes flashing with spots of white from the strobing lights. it strangely brings forth a minor headache, hanging her head a little low as if that’d help, but upon being approached by someone unfamiliar, she lets out a soft, “oh.” arin’s head shakes to kindly refuse his offer at first because … well, it’d be naïve of her to accept a drink from anyone, but the more she stares at his untouched mojito, the more desperate she becomes to rid this air of awkwardness. “i’ll trust you on that.” she retrieves one of the glasses from his hold, flashing him a polite smile before taking an experimental sip. naturally, she hums out of delight, hoping it’ll ease her jitters. “do i really look that lonely?” she jokes, voice a little quiet. “but thanks. i don’t — uh, i don’t really come to these sort of things.”

@⊹ kim mingyu. "fighting" eunwoo mouthes with the other and grips on the microphone as he waits for his cue. he leads the crowd by raising his hands as if inviting them to sing along with mingyu. as expected, the crowd cheered and sang along as mingyu performs. his vocal chords hits the notes well and eunwoo is quick to morally support his mate not until his name was called again in the background which means the spotlight is now tossed back to him. there is no time left to compose himself so he directly sings the next line of the song which goes "You just gotta ignite the light, and let it shine, just own the night, like the Fourth of July—altogether now! cause baby you're firework, come on show them what you're worth, make them go oh, oh, oh as you shoot across the sky-y-y" he doesn't even know if he is offkey, what he just is that he enjoys what he's doing right now. he puts an arm around mingyu's shoulder and sends him a signal to sing the next part.

@⊹ kim mingyu. seeing two of his good friends on stage just makes him crack big time. he does a loud whistling using his fingers and shouts "go go my bros! mingyu and eunwoo! proud of you guys. woo hoooo!" he cheers along with arin as he watches both males talk and perform on stage. he also likes how the crowd is quick to join and sing along with mingyu. with his arm raised up in the air, he swings along with arin and mouthes the lyrics just in time with the melody.

@⊹ choi arin. as he enters the nightclub, he was greeted by some bouncers and friends which he eagerly greeted back in return by doing a manly fist bump here and there. jeno's shift is in about 40 minutes so he first decided to grab a quick drink at the bar - getting himself two glasses of mojito just for starters and this is his usual routine to hype himself up before performing as a dj. he joins the crowd and blended in as he dances to the beat of the music and later on noticing a girl in a white blouse, just a few meters away from him seeming awkward and alone. as he sips through his own drink, he tries to observe the individual first before risking to approach her. jeno's quite a social butterfly and interacting with random people is not a problem. "did you mention a drink? i have a spare one if you like? don't worry this is clean and just pure mojito. nothing more." in his defense, he chuckles lightly as the girl might think he is offering a dirty drink but this is just actually his way of making friends. "i don't mean to bother you but you seem alone in here and thought you might need some company".

@⊹ choi arin. @⊹ cha eunwoo. we got this!" he quickly tells eunwoo discreetly, just before the music starts to play. the familiar intro to the song starts and mingyu starts right on cue. he starts singing; asking the crowd if they ever felt like a plastic bag drifting through the wind. just as he finishes the particular verse, he spots arin, the petite girl looking even smaller from where he was. mingyu also spots jeno, who's smiling widely, eager and excited to see what happens next. mingyu grins knowingly at the site of his friends. darting his eyes back to the projector screen attached to the karaoke machine that's projecting the lyrics on the wall. the first chorus comes up and mingyu gets excited, singing it with his heart, even though it means that he's not pitch perfect. it's a little off-key; lower as his natural voice only goes so high in terms of notes. at one point he forgets the lyrics, to which he half hums the song, and instead, replaces the actual lyrics with 'handsome boy cha eunwoo'.

@⊹ lee jeno. code red, alert, wee woo — this isn't her type of scene at all. and if she didn't understand that earlier when she was stressing about what to wear (which she regrets donning her white blouse), then it was definitely the judgmental expression on one of the bouncers' faces when she requested entrance, but unfortunately by then, it was already too late to bail out. attempting to blend in with the wall near the dance floor, she awkwardly sways to the rhythmic beat, looking like an odd beacon of light albeit trying to not draw any attention to herself. "god, i shouldn't have come alone," she mutters between curled lips. "or at least gotten a drink."

@⊹ kim mingyu. eunwoo tries hard not to put his shyness upfront so he stands up there and masks on the amount of confidence he's got. he nudges the other and shakes his head as if regretting this decision in the first place. "magical huh? more like a bad decision, dude." as he whispers back, he keeps a smile on his face and waves at some of his friends specifically arin and jeno on the other side of the stage as they call up to him and the moment mingyu speaks by the microphone, he claps his hands to the beat of the music. "oh god, forgive us you guys in case we're out of beat. i'm no singer, i'm just a handsome bartender. kidding. eunwoo is the name, hi everyone. my dude here is the best singer, i promise you." he pats on the other's back as he holds a microphone and chuckles as the crowd starts cheering from them.

@⊹ kim mingyu. to her own surprise, arin's first night at attiction's nightclub was more enjoyable than she thought it'd be. sure, she's a little sweaty and her frail body has come into contact with the same stranger behind her, but despite that, she feels light and free. even when she hears her name being spoken into a microphone and reverberating through the speakers, what she does is cheer — which, given her shy nature, is uncharacteristic of her. "woo, go mingyu and eunwoo!" she yells, evidently excited, but with mingyu's lastly added words, her face twists into a look of playful uncertainty. "and we'll see about that!"

@⊹ lee jeno. @⊹ choi arin. @⊹ cha eunwoo. "oh shi-" mingyu nearly curses on stage and /on/ mic, as he saw eunwoo motioning to him that he was still working. luckily, their manager is generous enough to let eunwoo come up to the stage, to which mingyu bows at, in appreciation. he was probably gonna get called to his office and reprimanded for this stint, but he'd face that when he came to it—tomorrow. "it's gonna be magical." mingyu whispers back, with a gleam of mischief and amusement in his eyes. he clears his throat before turning back to the crowd below the stage. "ladies and gentlemen, hi, my name is mingyu, and me and my buddy eunwoo here are gonna sing a song tonight. we're dedicating this one to an arin and jeno." mingyu then hands the spare mic that's on the other stand to eunwoo. "we kept our promise, so you better keep yours!" he bellows, before turning to the karaoke machine and typing in the song number that they were going to sing—katy perry's firework.

@⊹ kim mingyu. it's a weekend and so there are quite a sea of crowd in the nightclub where eunwoo works at yet he actually enjoys seeing people having fun while good glass of drinks are in their hands—props to the resident bartender, eunwoo himself as he seems to know a lot of unique alcohol mixes. as he serves a few customers, he suddenly hears his name on the background. unsure if it was his name mentioned but hearing the voice behind that microphone, he knew who it was. "oh damn, this dude really." he shakes his head as he laughs it off to himself when mingyu, a good friend of his or more like a partner in crime tosses him the spotlight. he tries to hide from the attention of the crowd as the they all seem curious. he sends mingyu a signal as if telling him "no, i'm working" and bowing his head a few times yet the stage manager comes by and tells him that "it's ok, eunwoo. the crowd actually wants to see you anyway. come on up!" well, seems like he is left with no choice. eunwoo removes his the apron-like black uniform wrapped around his waist and heads onto the stage, fist bumping mingyu upon arrival. "what is this sorcery, dude." he whispers softly and chortles before facing the crowd and waits for the other to instruct him what happens next.

@⊹ cha eunwoo. it's the early hours of the evening, a small crowd bustling in the basement of the establishment. it's his day off and mingyu has decided to come to his workplace, not to work, but to sing and enjoy a night out with the nearby tenants and coworkers. he steps up to raised platform by the dance floor that serves as the stage, which is right next to the dj booth. "can i get a cha eunwoo to the stage please, cha eunwoo. cha eunwoo to the stage." mingyu calls for his new partner in crime, scanning the floor to try and spot the bartender.
