muse swings. whether it be muse for a plot, muse for my character, or muse to write in general, it very much fluctuates and is hard to predict. I will at times have no energy/motivation/willpower to reply, and sometimes for a long while.

I am still trying to get back in the swing of rping, attempting to battle previously mentioned muse swings slowly to try to find the sweet spot of when I want to rp and what conditions I can do so.

mostly just patience and understanding. I am quite bad with thinking of how others feel when I communicate that I am losing muse, feeling unmotivated, etc, and sometimes I will assume no communication is better than the response of communication. please be patient with me as I try my best to occasionally muster up muse to reply and understand that my mental sometimes terrifies me from communicating in fear of the response.

- i think the obvious answer would be my life outside of rpr, since i am still in school and supporting myself financially. this sometimes results in my absences on rpr, which might inadvertently lead to delays in my responses although it's important to note that these delays are never intentional. however, rest assured, i always return to contribute and engage as soon as i can.

- my main goal is to take my characters on a journey towards their ultimate achievements or personal development milestones. i'm really in it for the thrill of watching my characters evolve and grow. also, the reason i hopped on board is that i've been longing to get back into writing, and i've got a soft spot for uniaus.

I get lazy. I tend to have a lot going on especially with my job and out of work hobbies/activities and that can really tire me out. Roleplaying doesn’t come to me as easily as it does to others, this isn’t a relaxing hobby for me; it’s mental work. Sometimes I don’t like to put more brainpower into smth when I get home so honestly, it’s quite likely I’ll go quiet or stick to very, very short ic interactions for a few days before smashing out replies.

For Myungsoo: He needs to learn to chill tf out and not take his issues out on other people. He needs some positive influence via his friends, a romantic partner, etc, to realise that what his parents do is not normal and shouldn’t be a guideline for how he should live his life.

For Lamai: I have no goal for her other than finding herself. She’s a little lost, she doesn’t quite know what she wants to do with herself. She enjoys painting but is worried that it’s not enough to keep her fulfilled in life, but she has no other passions; there’s also the problem of lying to her parents about what her bachelor is in. They are under the impression that she transferred to IOU to continue medicine as they’d hoped but instead, she requested a transfer into the fine arts the second she arrived on campus due to her hatred of medicine and having to be ‘smart’.

I just need my partners to understand that this is a hobby for me and is not super high on my priority list.

Motivation. One minute (usually when I'm busy as hell), I have all the motivation in the world to get things done, and then I'm scrambling for it the next. In my motivated periods, I'm usually writing a lot to where I kind of burn myself out too, so that contributes to some of the problems I have. I need to learn to pace myself sometimes.

Well, I'm really just wanting to come out of this writing slump I'm in, so I want to write and finish at least 3 threads, I guess. One for each muse. Like, I've been writing here and there, but I want to write a thread that brings out my passion for writing and exploring different universes again. That, and I really want to reach some kind of conclusion with the threads that I start instead of just... letting them fizzle out when I or my partner goes through a slump.

Honesty and... inspiration? Well, at least in the sense that they'll honestly communicate with me, and that they'll be motivated and inspired enough to make plotting together feel like we're actually plotting together, y'know? It's really important to me to communicate and communicate effectively, even though I'm personally slow at responding to people dnsjngsan.
