Heavy bass-y beats blasting in his ears, bodies on bodies bumping to the rhythm in a crowd on the dance floor, thick and weighty air hardly leaving his lungs as he's lost in the flow of the crowd. He downs drink after drink, lets them drain down his throat during his breaks from the dance floor, but this wasn't what he was here for. Only the lord knows why Blue of all people volunteered for such an event, but he'd heard about a dating auction at a club taking place tonight while perusing the streets and, as a rather impulsive last-minute decision, agreed to participate as the surprise guest and final bid. He figures he just wanted to get lost tonight and do something spontaneous for once. Didn't even stop to think about what he was doing either and chose to "live a little" as people would often suggest to him. Before the dating auction actually started, however, everyone was invited to have a few drinks on the house and hype up before the main event. And it isn't until the host comes on stage to simmer things down a smidgen that he remembers he was supposed to be auctioned off in the first place.

One by one, people take their turns being auctioned off to go on sponsored dates by the club. The winners of the bids got to go on a date anywhere in the city and get their date paid for by the club with these fancy cards, courtesy of the owner. As it came time for his turn, he found himself stunned at just how many people wanted to go on a date with him. People of all creeds and kinds. And he didn't mind it, found it funny even, but he couldn't lie about feeling the pressure from it all. This pressure only increases when he realizes who his top bidder was someone he actually knew from campus. Making his way down from the stage, a boyish smile controls the rest of his facial features as he approaches them and moves in for a brief hug. "Surely didn't expect the winner to be you. What are you doing here?"

[ ] i have tried to make this work in three or four rps to no avail, so a few of you may have seen this starter already. i am determined to have a super cute and/or chaotic thread stem from this and determined to FINISH it too! i really want to see where a starter like this can go so PLEASE take me up on it! multiple responses are allowed (as mentioned), so don't feel like you can't reply if someone else has. we can do an alternate version with different muses! also if there are typos, it's 5:30am for me as i post this and i am mobile, so ignore.
