a kaleidoscope of tourmaline settled upon the the bubbling brook, it's song a whisper, a calling to the god to be one with the wild and one with the wind as the god immersed himself within his discussion. how easy it was, to get a god to fall within their own hubris and talk about themselves.
slightly? only slightly? that can not do. not in the face of the god of wine and ecstasy, my dear friend. but... that's the first i've heard someone tell me my eyes twinkle when i discuss wine. wine is an art, after all... it is only right that i help out somewhat in getting people to appreciate a good bottle of wine whether it be made from berries, grapes, or even caramel.
the most recent movie i loved watching was a movie about a djinn, a story teller, and the four trials of that djinn's life. it was called 3000 years of longing, and it brought back that feeling of listening to the stories and tales once dedicated to me in name. recalling the adventures of ancient heroes and gods with hidden warnings for one to heed. it is a tradition i will always miss the more i watch the people evolve with their advancing technology. so many stories recorded, so many stories lost, and so many experiences lost.
he chuckles, eyes of violets, honey, and olive hues shifting in surprise as he watched the vampire's lips move... and a thrill ran through him. a sickly, delicious thrill that had the god's lips curling into a grin.

he hissed in return before he chased after the vampire, body shifting into that of a panther and trailing behind him.

-the sanguine irises drift away from your face, settling instead on the rippling river before them, glistening beneath the florid sunbeams, reflecting like aureate sequins. his sternum rose and fell drastically, despite appearing to be engrossed within his inner world, he was listening attentively.
yes, indeed, that might be true. but thank you for accompanying me, you made my dull evening slightly entertaining. your eyes twinkle when you speak about wine, for me, it's just a medium to get drunk. I guess we do have something in common, watching movies. any movies that you loved watching, recently?
storytelling. this reminds me about reading the tales of oral storytellers. such an intimate tradition and connection shared between the storyteller and their listeners.
-he mused aloud, glancing back at jaehyung. a boyish grin stretching across his lips that made him appear younger than usual. "catch me." he mouthed before bolting forward, at an inhumane speed that vampires were said to possess.

noting the vampire's sluggish movements, the god tilts his head. curiosity gnawing at him just a while before said god moved to zip up his hoodie and readjust his shoes as he listened to the vampire speak.
do not apologize. i was the one who offered to take you on a run anyways, soohyuk. i am doing it of my own volition. and naturally, i would become more animated upon discussing wine. it is within one of my many domains of influence within the greek pantheon. but naturally, there are things that can derive the same amount of passion from me.
stories, plays, i love watching movies at the theatre and have a strong passion for storytelling. i also adore nature, as it is a part of our beings we cannot deny--undead or not.

-a bit sluggish with his movements, he stalled for a few moments before standing back on his feet, muttering a quiet 'thank you.' as he let go of your hand, rolling his shoulders to loosen the stiffness gathering around the same area.
I do apologise for dragging you along. you seemed to having fun discussing about wine, never had i seen become such an active participant in something? then again, we rarely meet on a daily basis. are they other things that derive such passion from you?

The subtle vibration of his phone pulls his attention away from his activity book, and he picks it up eagerly, expecting the notification to be from Baekho. He smiles when he reads it and quickly replies.

Oh don't worry, I am glad you made it home and I am so happy you slept well. My sleep was decent, and I had a nice, yummy breakfast.

Baekho never sent that message, in fact, he fell asleep soon after not sending that message. He assumed he had, but when he woke up in the morning he’d find out that he never did.

— The Next Day —

It was early morning and Baekho had already eaten and got his exercise routine out of the way. He took care of some early scheduled items and had little time to check his phone. So when he was finally able to sit down to relax for a moment he noticed the text from Sunyoul. He is quick to realize he never sent his text from yesterday and sighs at himself.

Sorry! I had typed out my message yesterday and forgot to send it! I was really tired when I arrived home.
I even slept in the couch! ㅋㅋㅋ

I did sleep well, just a bit stiff from the way I slept. My breakfast was good. I hope you slept well and are good too.

/Sunyoul's morning went smoothly and per usual. Once dressed in an orange, fuzzy oversized sweater and washed-out jeans, he carefully thought of how he would carry out his self-care. He recalled Baekho's examples from last night and sparked his own ideas. He kept his phone close by in case Baekho reached out to him while he was grabbing some adult colouring books from his desk. His eyes drift to the black screen of his phone; he lightly nibbles on his bottom tier and decides he can't wait to hear from him. He sends a quick text and continues to go about colouring./

Good morning! I hope you slept well and had good dreams. oh- and I hope you had a yummy breakfast~!

/Sunyoul tilts his head and watches Baekho take a selfie, his expression brightening as he brings his hand up to laugh behind it. He takes his phone back but then realizes that the selfie was taken on his device, he flutters his lashes and quickly jerks his head up./
