@♤ ¦ Lee Hongbin Himchan happily followed the male as he heard that they were now going to find his mask. Slightly disheartened at the fact that the latter hadn't found his mask when he was picked up, he was now even more determined to find it in the halls or perhaps room that he stopped to visit either to hide or look around. He hummed a melody under his breath, making sure to keep quiet with his best attempts as he kept his lips pressed together. He couldn't help but want to thank the latter all the time but assuming that he would soon get annoyed by the endless comments of gratefulness, he decided to keep his lips shut. Consumed in his thoughts, he followed the other obediently, letting him lead though he had no idea where they were headed. The man seemed honest though, even though they were nothing more than strangers to each other and it was foolish for Himchan to trust the male. He should be wary, he shouldn't be initiating any contact with the male at all but he just couldn't pull his hand away randomly. He found that it was rude, and abrupt so instead, he allowed his hand to be clasped with the other's.

Even with the mask on, he could feel the stranger's eyes on him, causing his flush to only brighten more as time passed by with each second. It was obviously conscious when you were with one person and deserted in a hall, but he would prefer only having one pair of eyes on him than more. When he neared the place where he had fallen, his attention now everywhere be it on the floor or on decorations. He finally released the male's hand, beginning his search for his lost possession. He began to go on his knees, desperate to find the plastic mask that his life was supposedly relying on. Something shimmered in the corner of his eyes and he reached for under the table, fingers wrapping around the object gently before pulling it out. He smiled in content as the object was his mask, feeling the object familiar in his grip. "Found it!" he exclaimed happily, pulling his hand back to show his mask. Carefully, he removed the other's mask and handed it back to him before placing back on his own, making sure to get rid of all the dirt that had collected on it in a short amount of time.

@♤ ¦ Lee Hongbin Himchan bit his lip, his eyes closing as stress started to pile up from over thinking. His mask could be anywhere honestly. Actually, did he even wear his mask or did he leave it in his room? Things were a bit confusing to him. Maybe he actually had lost his memories of earlier events, or deluding himself. Either way, he was set on finding his mask. Now that this even had started, his mask was his everything, literally. It kept his identity safe, it was like his own wall too, so no one could easily penetrate his years of hard enest work of pushing people away, though it seemed to be failing him now. This event had probably knocked down a few walls in shock, probably causing holes in his flawless work that took years. Maybe after all, he wanted comfort but no more thinking or else he would stress in self too much. He nodded, quickly flicking his wad to the side to sweep his bangs quickly out of his eyes. "Alright then, you can stay," he stated, huffing a bit as he was still a bit light headed.

Himchan was following the latter out so he could barely even stop when the stranger turned around, removing his mask and placing it on his face. "A-Ah, thanks," he stuttered shyly, a bit touched at the action itself. He knew what risk the latter was putting himself in, and he was sure that the person knew the consequence as well. His cheeks had now flushed a small red, following the male once again as their hands were clasped. He laced their fingers for a tighter grip, looking around as he leaned closer to the male, whispering, "Room 028." Though he knew no one could go in without his permission, someone could plan a stake out of sorts. He now took in the details of the male's face, he was quite handsome, he admitted. "Can we actually find my mask first?" he asked quietly, wondering if it was a stupid question.
♤ ¦ Kim Himchan [SH] 10 years ago
@♤ ¦ Lee Hongbin Himchan hummed softly, nodding as he slowly pulled his hand away, clasping his hands together once again. After hearing that it was probably not safe here, he nodded, sitting up and letting the blanket drop from his chest. He sighed quietly, glancing around for any signs of his mask before asking the male, "Do you know where my mask is?" He wasn't sure if he had dropped it or if the latter had taken it off to treat him, but it irked him to be without the only sort of protection, no matter now flimsy it was. At the other's words, he stifled in a laugh, only shaking his head as his eyes turned into small crescents. If he hasn't known any better, he would think that the latter was flustered, embarrassed to be around him. That wasn't the case, Himchan was sure of that. The stranger was probably just playful, and if not, hinting that he should leave quickly.

Unlike the latter beside him, Himchan easily grew jealous of the well furnished room, it was only an infirirmy for goodness sakes. It was nothing else but a place to treat the wounded, surely it wouldn't kill anyone if they just left it messily furnished. No one would care. But nope, in the castle, it seemed that everything had to be extravagant. He had expected it before he even reach the castle, but reality was different from imagination and he couldn't help but long for some things that belonged to the castle itself. He sighed softly, if only he could. Maybe if he was borne a prince, heck, anything in nobility would be fine, he might actually find happiness. He wasn't content with anything, his payment, his life style, his clothes, his home, nothing.

He huffed softly before slowly nodding, draping his legs over the edge before standing up, straightening himself and his clothes out. "Sounds good, I should lead the way then," he softly spoke, stretching his back the slightest bit before turning to face the kind man, even offering to walk him back to his room. "You can stay with me if you'd like," that was the least Himchan could do to return the favor of this treatment, though it seemed like the male would probably reject.
♤ ¦ Kim Himchan [SH] 10 years ago
@♤ ¦ Lee Hongbin Himchan was stil snuggled into the warmth of the blanket, now growing a bit self conscious as well. He probably looks ridiculous with bandages wrapped around his head, white not nearly contrasting his pale skin though it did stick out. His hair was messy, and as if to check, his lifted his hands up for a while, straightening his hair and bangs. Years of being a e made him always keep his looks in check, nothing had to be off. Be it a vice or habit, it wasn't easy to get rid off. It was now like a common thing for him to do so, as he's been doing years of "training" to look perfect for his customers. It also didn't help as he felt eyes on him, causing him to squirm on the mattress uncomfortably, eyes averting away from the other male. Though the action was probably suspicious, Himchan didn't do well under peer pressure. Even if he was supposed to be used to all eyes on him, he wasn't. Something about others' looks always caused a shiver down his spine, who knew what they were thinking?

He only glanced back at the latter again as he started to speak out his answer, listening to him respectfully. It was rude to ask and not listen. His breath hitched slightly at the explanation, his heart softening for the male. So he too had lost a loved one. Maybe it was just Himchan, but people who shared somewhat a same connection as him always caused him to trust them more. It was foolish but he couldn't fight against it, it was his gut feeling. He slowly reached out, holding the male's hand gently belts giving a reassuring squeeze. "It makes perfect sense," he whispered, nodding his head before he gave the man a small, warm smile. "And I still can't thank you enough," he murmured, keeping his eyes trained on his savior.
♤ ¦ Kris Wu 10 years ago
@♤ ¦ Huang Zitao The King's announcement was no joke. Despite Kris being quite careful and stealthy with his actions since he was trained in both extensively, someone still had managed to hurl a dagger into his upper arm.
He had just finished bathing when he exited his bathroom, only to realize the door to his balcony was ajar when he felt a gust of cool wind caress his skin, the spy reacting one sliver of a second too late and receiving a dagger deep into his left arm, the culprit having jumped off of the balcony and diving into the coverage of the treetops below before Kris could see the stranger. He gritted his teeth as he wriggled the jagged blade loose from his flesh. It needed to be treated.

Kris was more of the field agent rather than medic, that reason the very purpose he was here in this kingdom. He stepped with the shadows towards the infirmary, deciding he'd take his chances and experiment with the medical tools until he found the right ones that would fix himself up.
He paused near the doorway, realizing a light was aglow. Did he dare make the mistake of being careless again? Or perhaps this was someone he could take advantage of? He'd never know unless he stepped in and found out himself.

He stepped into the infirmary, using the hand of his non- injured arm to pull his shirt down over the sheathed blade tucked away beneath his belt as his eyes immediately fell upon a young man with shadows casted beneath his eyes. "Evening." He greeted in accented Korean despite the other male's eyes telling him that the other was of a different race. Yet the boy looked oddly...familiar. "Mind helping an injured man out?" He asked, addressing the bandana tied tightly to his left bicep, the blue cloth nearly black with blood.
♤ ¦ Kim Himchan [SH] 10 years ago
@♤ ¦ Lee Hongbin Himchan didn't even notice that the window was open, he didn't notice the soft breeze flowing in through the open space until the latter had walked over to close it. Panic started to bubble inside of him, anxiety setting in. Had someone crawled and hid in here earlier before they came? Was someone spying on them, and if so, did they see Himchan's face? In attempt to cover his face, he laid back down, pulling his blankets up to his shoulder before snuggling into it, hoping that it would somewhat cover his face. He stared at the male as he walked in, flashing a small smile back though he stayed in the small protective barrier of the thin blankets. It was almost nothing but in a situation like this, you couldn't be picky.

His eyes narrowed slightly in confusion at the laugh that though quiet, resounding throughout the empty room. He was surprised by the fact but he shouldn't really, many people knew how to defend himself. He didn't. Raised as a princess, Himchan had always been spoiled and protected by the ones that loved him the most and now that he lost them all, he was alone once again. He couldn't do anything, he didn't even have the strength to push them away. "Ah, that's good to know. I'm not that much so all I have really is hiding from people," he chuckled, feeling pathetic in front of the stranger he met not too long ago. He fidgeted with his fingers once again, laying on his side to face the latter better. "That's true, but you could always try to prolong it," he stated, now moving onto the blanket as he rolled the fabric in between his fingers. "So if you let yourself be killed, what's the point?" Himchan was a clueless boy, his education stopping at his preteen years. He wasn't as bright as the other males, his life was dim in many aspects, and he wasn't proud of that.
♤ ¦ Kim Himchan [SH] 10 years ago
@♤ ¦ Lee Hongbin Seeing the smile on the male's face relaxed him a bit, even though he still had his mask on. Himchan glanced down, fiddling with his fingers as he puffed out his cheeks. To even have someone who willingly helped him and put himself in danger was sweet. And he actually stayed too. Most people would have left because staying in one spot for too long was dangerous, you could get spotted or trapped. He then brushed his bangs out of his face, glancing back up at the man that had helped him a while ago.

"Hmm, I'm okay now. It still hurts," he admitted truthfully, flashing a small smile of his own. The man here seemed nice, someone he could trust but perhaps Himchan was being naive. He knew that people could attack him any moment now and this male could be someone that could bring harm. But he hasn't done anything yet, but he had to be skeptical. He pulled the blanket up, covering more of his body in dire need of some warmth before he spoke up once again. "Why are you still here? Shouldn't you have left to protect yourself?" That question was nagging at his mind. For all he knew, no one actually cared that much about him to stay by himself. He was always being left alone, and to think that it was a stranger who was here, who was still here, was a bit touching. Himchan had always been curious though, and he needed to satisfy it.
♤ ¦ Kim Himchan [SH] 10 years ago
@♤ ¦ Lee Hongbin Himchan was still passed out, however, dreams, nightmares, and memories swirled in his mind. This was something knew, usually, he never had these things when he slept. It was like reliving in his past, and though he would love that very much, he couldn't. A few minutes later, he became conscious. His body felt heavy, he couldn't even move his finger. But he was always weak, he knew he was. He waited a couple of minutes before his eyes opened slowly, closing them again when light was the first thing that he saw.

A groan escaped his lips, his head was still throbbing and it hurt more than it did before. Lifting up his arm, he gently touched the place he was injured in, wincing at feeling as more pain jolted through his body. Though there was something off, he had bandages wrapped around his head. He shot his eyes opened again, sitting up carefully before leaning back on the head board. His eyes travelled around, where was he? Throughout his time exploring and walking around the castle, he's never been here before. His then touched the bridge of his nose, where was his mask? It was dangerous without the piece of plastic, someone could recognize him for heaven's sake.

He finally felt a presence next to him, turning his head to get a better view. He was a bit shocked that someone was there, causing him to jump on the bed and back away slightly. He bit his lip, was this the person who saved him? Or was this someone who found him and waited for him to wake up and then kill him? You'll never know, some people enjoy to see pain in others. Deeming that the latter wasn't possible, he bowed his head to the male and muttered a small, "Thank you."
♤ ¦ Huang Zitao 10 years ago
Loitering around the infirmary, Zitao sat on the chair lazily behind a desk- bored to hell with no patients around. He was a doctor, a 'patient-less' one, I must say. Tapping the desk with his index finger, he started to debate with himself on whether he should just leave and wait to be called if ever a patient comes or just keep waiting. Such beautiful choices, don't you think? And that was a sentence overflowing with sarcasm.
♤ ¦ Kim Himchan [SH] 10 years ago
Himchan was wandering idly around the halls, slender fingers dragging along the walls as he sauntered down the halls. He was alone again, though he didn't know if he should be relieved or not. Only his footsteps reverberated in the long corridor. One quick glance around and he knew that there was nothing spectacular to be seen here. Every hall was starting to blend together, becoming the same sight as always. He bit his lip gently, suddenly back into his thoughts. He had always wanted to try and live in a castle, but if it was going to be the same thing everyday, he would definitely choose his life as a e.

Though he wandered carefully, or so he thought, down the halls, everything began to mess up as always. He should have seen this coming, he was prone to accidents after all. Maybe it happened to often that he grew ignorant of it but he still should have been somewhat attentive. It was one clumsy step, tripping over his own foot as he had decided to speed things up. Next thing he knew, he was leaning, trying to grip at something to keep his balance or something to break his fall, but there was none. Instead, he felt a sharp pain throbbing in his head, a small cry of pain and agony escaping those lips. He had no clue if he had bled or not, and he could make out a shape of a table. Curse the random tables that held vases in the hallways. Panic started to fill him as his vision blurred but soon, everything slipped away as he blacked out, fluttering his eyes close.
