Honestly, Claire couldn't see where it was going. Of course, some of them who had been a huntress longer than her knew; she'd learned to steer clear of her own powers relating to water only in the recent century, and that was not easy. It was like denying your own nature, denying where you belonged.

But she finally did it.

Because she never belonged in the first place, not even from the moment she was born. If Bijou was seemingly the always happy one, sadly, she could never be.

She was the cursed child.

"Lord Poseidon himself approved my choice of denial."

And no, she would never call the sea god 'father' in the presence of any of her siblings.

@[G] Bijou Roux Except that Artemis was not a godly parent.

Claire made sure the door was closed behind them before she leaned on it, crossing her arms. Certainly, she meant business.

"You have your answer. You may say I am a sister of yours, but as you've guessed, I'd prefer not to acknowledge it."

Much good it would do her, really. She'd rather be thought of as a mortal girl before she joined rather than admitting to everyone out there that she was a daughter of Poseidon.

@[G] Bijou Roux To say that Claire was Khione-like wasn't entirely wrong. She'd had encounters with the snow goddess, and she honestly thought they could have been friends - if not for her male collections. That part she couldn't stand. In fact, if Bijou had known Artemis, she was more like the goddess herself.

"I cannot deny my own blood," she replied in a whisper, looking sharply at the other female before stepping back. "Come in. This is not to be spoken outside."

@[G] Bijou Roux Everyone in the Hunt knew that Claire hated being questioned. Sadly, it seemed that this certain demigoddess does not.

"Regarding what matter?" She asked, her suspicion growing by the second. They knew nothing of each other, and to be honest, she would like it to remain so.

@[G] Bijou Roux Truly, there was a first time for everything. Them huntresses were the least likely to be looked for by anyone in camp, and yet Claire found herself raising her head from a book she was reading when the knock at the door came. She'd heard a female voice from the other side. Who could this be?

The first thing she did, however, when she opened the door, was not greeting the female demigod, but she'd looked towards the fields overseeing the camp. Mentally, she sighed in relief. Everything looked fine. So it weren't any kind of monster attacks...

Upon finally resting her sea blue eyes on the tanned female, Claire realized who it was - someone from her former cabin, a sibling if not more, but she'd cut her ties to Poseidon ever since she joined the Hunt, though not completely. But she truly did not want the others to know that she'd been the daughter of who ruled the sea, before she embraced the immortality given by the goddess.

Yes, she'd thought of it in past tense.

"What ails you, daughter of Poseidon?"
