I've never been there before! I bet it will super amazing since you found it," Yooa smiled as she was helped inside. She plopped down into a seat as Rui landed himself in her lap. Yooa tilited her head to the side as she shook her head. "No, I haven't before - I mean I've seen them before at the academy but never met them before," She glanced at the other. "Have you?" She asked

@❇︎ Yooa ¥✔ "I didn't, you're just in time." Karina smiled and she starts walking inside the airship, "We're going to Marteria Highlands, I found something beautiful there." She told Yooa before she helps her get in with Rui and Uki, climbs over to the demon's shoulder, "Have you met any humans before?" She asked the fairy as the airship starts to float in the air and flies in a gradual speed towards Marteria Highlands.

@♆ Karina Yooa was rocking back and forth on the heels as she was waiting for Karina. She was amazingly excited about their adventure. "I hope that she gets here soon so that our adventure can start," She looked at Rui floating next to her. She jumped in her spot as she whipped her head around, smiling at Karina as she spoke to her. "I did! Did I make you wait long? I am really sorry if you had to wait a long time!" Yooa dipped her head with a small frown before it turned back into a smile seeing the tanuki. "He is so cute! I hope that he and Rui can be friends like us!" Yooa bounced her spot. "Should we get going?" She asked

@❇︎ Yooa ¥✔ Karina went to the Airship Dock after she ate a lunch from a nearby restaurant, sniffing in the air she could smell the familiar sent of flowers. It lead her to Yooa, who is waiting for her by the waiting area, the demon smiled a bit before walking closer to her. "You finally came, with Rui too." She greeted before a tanuki pops up from her backpack, "This is Uki, he's a friend from Kirin Peaks." She introduced her friend to Yooa. "He couldn't stop following me when I last visited the peak, so I took him along throughout my travels."

@♆ Karina Yooa tightened the straps on her backpack as she was carrying Rui in her arms. She smiled as she was excited to go on an adventure with a friend. It had been a while since she had gone on an adventure since she had been helping with taking care of the school. She stood around as she waited for Karina. Some people would think that she wouldn't have gone on this trip since Karina was a demon, and Yooa was usually afraid of them. But, at the same time - she had gotten to know the girl and she was simply just another person. She let go of Rui as she let him fly around. "Are you excited to go on an adventure Rui? It will be fun, I hope," Yooa smiled to the robotic dragon.

@❖ Koda Kumi ¥ An eye of reflected ruby eyes emerged from the shadows of the pit. It watched the shape of the woman's back for some time, knowing this woman was prohibited from this sacred area. Hell, the creature knew they were rarely even permitted to be on this ship without clearance from the captain. The animal scuddled around, getting closer and closer to the strange dragon. Its claws latched on the walls, crawling its way up the cockpit's metals and baring its fangs with a lower growl. When it was hanging upside down directly above you, it hissed with a flash of teeth and hair raised from the creature's back. When the beast leaped down on the pilot's panel hissing out a warning retreat, it completely ignored that the active anchor and the engine's boiler came to life.

@☾ Kwon Jiyong Despite the captian's wishes of having a woman onboard, Kumi found herself slithering on deck with stealth. With a pleased hum, the dragon started to port the airship not really caring if the captian was on or not. Commandeering if you will. Where was her first adventure? Kumi just wanted to see the world. Going towards the cockpit, she settled at the wheel studing all the buttons and gears. She touched a few of them mentalling taking note on what does what. Once the dragon got comfortable, she rubbed her hands together and started the ship. Time to go~!

@♆ Huang Mi Ni I heard the shouts of the market guards as they chased me, furry red bandit of a son, through the muddy cobblestone streets of the Central. Their armor gave away their position as the metal plates clanged together, and their boots fell heavy on the stones. I stood up from my knelt position on the airship cargo deck to snap a gaze at all the commotion. My hand dove into my pocket, fishing for my telescope. Pressing one curious eye to it, my mouth fell agape when I realized the source of the commotion.
“There!” a guard said.

My eyes narrowed on the fleeing red panda, followed by my alert brow as he dove under a peddler’s table, scattering rugs and crates as the woman hissed at Wonjin to run faster. I couldn’t deny the victorious grin on my lips when I realized the woman was rooting for my pet to get away. The guards came to a sudden halt when they realized the creature was now out of their reach, finally ending the vain pursuit ultimately. It wasn’t long before Wonjin arrived on my airship. The red panda came bounding to me, crawling up my leg and into my specialized hip saddle designed just for him. “Well, well, my boy, that way, one hell of an escape,” I say, looking at the furry companion taking the mechanical part from him. “Just what Daddy asked for and free of charge.”

@❇︎ Huta ¥ The door open and Mini let out a delighted squeal at the cute boy adorning the person's head. "Come! Sit, sit over here!", she called out to him and pointed to an empty chair near her. Seeing him back away, however, a deep frown etched onto her face. Gleeful excitement gone, she rose to her feet and glowered at him. "What? You dislike me that much?" Still, a little tender from the shower of insults her sister had rained on her recently, she sniffled and when she spoke again a whimper mixed into her tone. "You think I'm ugly and fat too? @♆ Huang Mi Ni Finishing up with a task, Huta was stopped by the captain telling him about a certain room he needs to go to. Of course this captain was his boss and he wasn't in any position to disobey no matter how cautious this matter was. With a small bow of his head, Huta began his small journey inside the demon's tiny chamber. There he saw the girl that had been watching him minus a finger that he can only assume that she had biten off. He backed up against the now closed door wanting to exit upon seeing the danger here.

@დ Kim Youngkyun ¥ Leaning back Minsik placed a hand upon his chest, brows raising for clarity and lowering just as quickly with a curt smile. "No, not my intention..." The mage rustled a few fingers though his hair, meeting Youngkyun's eyes with a shrug. "If you were sleep then who would I talk to?" He stood up unloosening his tied and tossing it onto the table, breaking eye contact with the other only as he started to a few buttons of his shirt to get more comfortable. "Honestly, there would be no one that I would rather talk to currently, than you. So if you slept, then I would have to resort to doing something awfully boring as well... like sleeping." He chuckled, more to himself than the other and descended into his bunk once again to relax... and partially to move out of Youngkyun's gaze. Minsik had a strange vibe that Youngkyun was seeing straight through him, and he didn't know how he felt about being so transparent. His typical social strategy was to give information about himself freely and casually as if it was common knowledge, but for the information to be generic out of context so that it wouldn't define him if he needed to escape.

Settling into his bunk again, he stared up at the roof of the bed, where Youngkyun laid. He let the room remain quiet for a spell, the only noises were the soft pattern of their breahing. The quiet in the room assisted in centering the mage's mind freeing him mentally you really see Youngkyun's aura, It was very vibrant, a red orange color radiating from the top bunk like a bonfire. Such strong energy so naturally qwelled by the other with an ease of someone who has done this for a long time. He didn't yet know if that was admirable or deplorable. Letting free, a small yawn, Minsik ended his barrage of interrogation with a content groan. "When can we go eat?"
დ Kim Youngkyun ¥✔ [H] 1 year ago
@♦ Kwon Minsik Human magic was always curious to Youngkyun, no matter how many times he experienced it. There was an adaptive quality to it that was so intrinsically human that it made him want to know more every time. The newfound silence in the room was uncanny though, as he had grown used to all of the now familiar sounds of the airship. But if it gave Minsik peace of mind from his conjured up goons that were hunting down Youngkyun and would perhaps break down their door at any moment to get to him— he supposed it wasn’t all too bad.

The silence that aded them was loud in the quiet and Youngkyun allowed himself to settle once again into a comfortable position. By the time they were at a cruising altitude, they would need to venture out of the newfound quiet of their room to get food before settling for the night. The question pulling him from his thoughts and making him gaze over at the other. This man had so many questions, he wondered if he ever got tired of asking them. Probably not. “You are not.” He waves a hand. “Is it your intention?”

@❇︎ Huta ¥ A few more hours passed by in this way before the captain approached Mini with a very nice suggestion: To invite him over for tea to 'talk'. The captain had used the word talk as a polite reference to a certain nightly activity, but Mini did not catch on to that. Despite the very little clothing she wore and the image it gave her, the thought of abusing his status as a slave for ual favors had not crossed her mind. The captain and Mini both thinking of two different things agreed on a price and Mini retired to a more private, and warmer, champer on the airship. There wasn't much in the room, a bed, a sitting area, and a bar. The lack of food made her stomach ache, so, desperate for a snack and unwilling to eat the pretty tinkerer in a gluttonous frenzy, she hastily bit off one of her own fingers. Crunch crunch. No, this wouldn't last. She needed at least 9 fingers when talking to the tinkerer! A portal opened and a very ugly lesser demon flew into the room and then out in search of a member of staff, informing them that Mini needed food right now. Lots of it, or they might loose a tinkerer.

@♆ Huang Mi Ni Huta wasn't sure why the ship kept needing to be fixed nor he wasn't sure why his boss had instructed him to repair it half . However it did pay a bit more and Huta could use the money so he decide to brush it off and work without a shirt like asked of him. Traveling to one side of the ship to the other, he kept working on the small repairs that needed to be down as well as advance the air ship's hardware. It was never a rest for the fairy that's for sure. But something, rather someone, caught his attention. Huta noticed her watching him consistantly since he started working on this airship. Because Huta couldn't catch a break as slaves were worked constantly, he had to brush the girl watching him do his job.

@❇︎ Huta ¥ Mini has been taking the same airship back and forth from one station to another for... a few days at least. It all started because she'd heard about a particularly attractive tinkerer. She had paid the captain a copious amount of money to have the person in question, Huya? Huta? Hula?, carry heavy stuff from one pile to the other in front of her. He had been instructed to take his top off as well, and Mini watched with a blush and a giggle as he laboured senselessly.
♦ Kwon Minsik [H] 1 year ago
@დ Kim Youngkyun ¥ The direct answer to his inquiries was appreciated by Minsik. The fire was the interesting part of Youngkyun's replies because that was a dangerous endowment to have indeed. That probably explain the high energy of his aura, fire was a strong element. In his mind, Minsik was trying to piece together what kind of species had any sort of fire powers. Honestly, only two that he had met before which were both animals, a hound and a fox. Though his cabinmate didn't have those animalistic traits thus far. "The enchantment works both ways. No sound in and no sound out." His eyes went around the room, tracing the spellwork as if it was visible to the eye. The encantantion even made air outside the room silent. "As long as all the openings to this room remain closed, there will be no sound from us heard outside, and no sounds from outside heard by us. My aunt taught me, long ago before I even knew what I was doing..."

The ship drifted smoothly in the soft winds outside, gradually moving upwards in elevation on its way to peak altitude. From the window Minsik could see the ground losing its contrast and definition, as all the city below melded into one larger mass of earthly hues and for once it didn't press on his--concern about heights, it actually seemed beautiful and nonthreatening. Youngkyun seemed less threatening as welll. His biggest concerns were the immortal kinds, the bloodsuckers and the nightwalkers. The kind that made his race into prey. The mage pondered on his next thought wondering if it would be insensitive to ask whether the fire hurt him or if he should ask more about the ship as a whole. When Minsik had opened his mouth to speak though, it had been for another question entirely, "Am I... keeping you awake, Youngkyun?"
დ Kim Youngkyun ¥✔ [H] 1 year ago
@♦ Kwon Minsik The shifters eyebrows raised in surprised bewilderment at that answer, having fully expected the man to claim otherwise; that he would definitively bequeath Youngkyun to whatever beefy goon that would happen to barge their way through their door looking for him. Not that the young Pheonix was particularly worried about anyone, beefy or otherwise tracking him down. "I suppose that is true, who is to say that your conjectured /goon/ would not do away with you for no witnesses should they take my head in your presence." Propping his head up to see better when Minsik is climbing to his feet with a sudden drive that was unbeknownst to Youngkyun. His gaze following the human over to the door his gaze full of wonder as he watches on. There weren't many mages that he had known personally though all of his travels, so their ways and methods are largely all speculative to Youngkyun. "I do not mind," whatever made the man feel comfortable, he supposed. Very pointedly not bringing up the way that Minsik had spooked himself into putting up protective wards on their door. "It will muffle the sounds from coming in, or from going out?" He questions softly as he looks over the objects in Minsik's hands.

From coming in, he concluded with the impromptu silence that permeated their room after Minsik had done his magic. Nodding dutifully at the prospect of keeping away the goons that the man conjured up for him. Laying down once again when he was sure there was nothing else the human was going to do, warding the ceilings or the floors. "I am not a vampire, nor any kind of werewolf." He confirms the roundabout questions, perhaps Minsik had an unpleasant run in with them, and so he was weary. "I can set our room ablaze," he muses. "But I shall not do that either," he offers just as quickly before Minsik had any ideas of trying to flame proof himself or their room. "You need not worry, I am of no immediate threat to you." The likelihood of him needing those airship lifeboats is much higher than Youngkyun himself trying to do any sort of bodily harm to the mage.
♦ Kwon Minsik [H] 1 year ago
@დ Kim Youngkyun ¥ “Well, yes.” Without hesitation Minsik was sure that he would protect the other. This wasn’t a thing that he normally did without prompting. Youngkyun wasn’t a child nor a damsel in distress yet protecting him just felt like the right thing to do. He couldn’t eloquently say why except it was just a feeling. He could come up with an excuse though. He carded his fingers as if thinking more thoroughly through his response and then nodding in confirmation. “I can’t let harm come to your while im around. Wouldn’t that put me in danger too? No thanks. Speaking of that,” Minsik stood up, chair screeching back as he went to the door, pulling a slender stem of wood from the pocket of his hanging jacket. He tapped it at the corner of the door and then turned to you, “You don’t mind do you? If a put a protection charm on the door maybe a muffler of sounds as well?” These charms were second nature to them, he could do them in his sleep and layer them and twist them into a web to deter any harm, stop or prevent the energy from even noticing this direction. He traced the door with the wand, fingers moving as if scribbling notes in the brushing on layers of spell work and then pinching it closed with his fingertips and slipping the wand back into the jacket.

He came to sit back on the chair contently inhaling at the newfound silence of the room. No whispers from the wind, no hum of the motors, no murmurs and giggles from the other cabins. This was something he could sleep to. “That should keep your goons away.” Crossing his arms over his chest he peer back up to where Youngkyun lied, watching him with cool, deep distant stare. “So you won’t read minds, but what else can you do? You don’t drink blood d’ya? Will a full moon bring me trouble because I have a tea for that… “
დ Kim Youngkyun ¥✔ [H] 1 year ago
@♦ Kwon Minsik This human was strange, he decided. He couldn’t understand that sentiment, so he just let him have it. Huffing out a soft breath of disbelief as he burrows deeper into his arms. He didn’t have to imagine, as that was his reality. But he wondered just how long his forever would stretch out, wanted to see its end dance before his eyes in a blaze of relinquishment. “You would find ways to entertain yourself eventually.”

It seemed like Minsik would lower his guard then raise it up when he deemed Youngkyun as something of a threat, the motions of it hard for him to keep up with so he just quirked a brow at the other. “I do not wish to know the depths of your mind, just as you do not wish to share them with me.” He says, perhaps that would put the man at ease. “I do not like prying into things that I do not belong,” time and time again that proved to be the safer alternative, and less effort on his part. The less voices that he had to hear inside his head, the better.

“Would your concern mean that you would save me from a ‘beefy goon’ should they impede upon us with kicking down our door?” He questions back. It amused him greatly that his lack of an answer warranted such worry from the man. “I am not on the run,” he offers as an afterthought. He was just a man who was wandering about, he figured. Much like Minsik himself.
♦ Kwon Minsik [H] 1 year ago
@დ Kim Youngkyun ¥ “I already told you,” A smiled tucked more to one side than the other making the grin more devious, “that’s the fun part.” Minsik leaned more on his palm, eyes sparkling in a dangerous way when they met yours. “Everything is the fun part when you know there is a worst part. No worries.” After his laugh trailed off, his eyes feel subtly, and his hands began to fiddle with a small switchblade that seemed to materialize from nowhere. Minsik used to worry a lot, it crippled him and that guy was only a ghost of who he was now. He had the village to thank for that. Family to thank for that. He chewed is lip, returning from the trip through his thoughts, still confused as to the others human status but comfortable enough that he didn’t want to drink his blood or steal his soul. Small wins. “Imagine living forever…” He shook his head and shuddered laughing again at his own antics, “I’d be so so so so sososo bored.”

His laugh was cut short at that last comment. “Can you really read my mind?” Eyes round with shock looking down in mental embarrassment. There were so many intrusive thoughts from stabbing at his arrival, the shower, from the apple, Youngkyun’s breath over his shoulder. He had to get control over emptying his mind. Was there a potion for this? A spell? He would check the grimoire later. For now he just focus the back of his mind on waves folding over each other.

With an analyzing gaze, Minsik peered up to his cabinmate. Vague answers, before the question deferred back to him. Was he running from something? “Honestly,” That would be a nice story to tell, as if it was only by choice he left. As if he wasn’t forgotten and now misplaced. “My story is the same as yours. I wandered around for work… when you wander you can’t be a kept man, but I’ll assume you know that. As for weapons, this is just what I’m good at. I like to build things and make them better. Im also great at potions but that’s not a high profited venture. But Youngkyun, you gotta start giving me some straight answers here. Are you on the run or something should I be concern some beefy goon is going to kick down the door?”
დ Kim Youngkyun ¥✔ [H] 1 year ago
@♦ Kwon Minsik Rolling onto his stomach with a dull thud of a flop, Youngkyun allows his head to be be pillowed by his arms. Tucking his face against the warmth of his forearms as he gazes down at the human below. It was an inherently human thing to keep track of the trends of other humans, so the fact that the man was curious about whether he too was keeping up with what was popular didn’t surprise him all too much. So he said nothing, just listened as Minsik spoke, his words drawled out enough to let Youngkyun know that he had spent the majority of his life somewhere he had not recollection of visiting, but felt familiar nonetheless. The question had him thinking though, he couldn’t recall a time in his life that he had ever settled down and married with another being. How curious.

This human made him think a lot. Did he seem like someone who was not plagued with mortality when he himself aged and died like humans? The only difference is that he would be reborn again, though he doubted that a human wasn’t at least… somewhat similar to what he was. “Is being reminded of your mortality such a horrid thing?” He was questioned, did Minsik have a kindred mind to those who craved immortality? If Youngkyun had to choose himself, he would rather to be able to die and stay dead. It was a lonely and tiring thing to not have a determined end— but perhaps only beings like him would have that opinion. Huffing out a soft amused breath at the laughter of Minsik, his lips twitching upwards. “It is fortunate for you, then. That I do not like to go seeking into others thoughts.” He offers. If he wished to, he could know just what the human was thinking, but Youngkyun relished the moments when his mind was pleasantly empty, so he would not break it for something as simple as curiosity. His eyes flitting over his companions face before he shrugged. What had he not done? There was so many that he couldn’t possibly list them all. “It is a long story.” He finally decides to say. A long story, but to make that story short; “I wandered around in search of work. And what of you? Left home and refused to marry only to make weapons for a living instead?”
♦ Kwon Minsik [H] 1 year ago
@დ Kim Youngkyun ¥ Minsik tucked his legs in and crossed them, leaning on his palm while listening to the soft cool cadence of Youngkyun’s voice. He was wondering now if the other could read minds, because honestly he didn’t need all his thoughts on display to him. A flurry of moments went through his mind of all the things he thought while being around Youngkyun. It would honestly be a crime if he was listening in on those. “You know I can hear the smile in your voice…” he glanced up at the bunk of the other with a grin himself. “Perhaps ‘pinnacle of life’ would be the term for my endeavors. I’ve never married, I just thought that was the all the rage lately.” The tiniest sigh left his lips. His mother asks him the same things when he chances upon her, but his lifestyle doesn’t fit with settling down. He was too nomadic. “And honestly, you don’t seem too human. I mean— you don’t NOT seem human but your demeanor gives the air of someone not to plagued with mortality. Your aura is also strong in energy.” He got up to sit in the chair at the desk, remembering his manners of pleasant conversation far too late. He leaned on the desk in thought. Nobody seemed as human once he had gotten outside of his hometown. “If I’m being honest, the way you responded to aging seemed akin to a ‘tell’. People who age don’t really talk about it. It reminds them of their encroaching demise.” His eyes darted up towards the others bunk with a laugh, “it was a trick question on my part. I apologize. You never Can be too careful in this world. ” From first hand experience, Minsik knew that just because people looked human, didn’t mean that they were human. “Please don’t tell me that you can read mind, I’d like to choose the secrets I share with you…” Minsik leaned back in his chair, at this point he could feel the ship leaving the dock in a slow easing forward motion. It didn’t feel as daunting as he anticipated. More like a rock to lull a child to sleep. “So tell me Youngkyun, what did you do before working on this ship?”
დ Kim Youngkyun ¥✔ [H] 1 year ago
@♦ Kwon Minsik "If you are so worried about the worst happening, how do you find enjoyment in the fun parts?" He found that he liked the airship a lot more with less humans slinking around in it. The halls much more spacious and remarkable without so many bodies taking away from the complex workings. He looked forward to wandering around the quiet ship once again when they landed; could have it all to himself for a few days until their next voyage back here and then he would be off again, to find more work. Back in their room, he moved immediately over to his bunk, climbing onto the mattress with the familiarity of a man who'd been staying there for a time. From his vantage point above, he allowed himself to look Minsik over. From his overgrown ebony mop of hair to the tips of his toes. He had never wielded a sword before, he wondered if Minsik was truly efficient at his trade. But he figured the man had to be at least somewhat adept, if he was being commissioned to bring his works personally. "Thoughts are not as private as you would presume." He mutters perhaps a bit too knowingly.

Stretching out across the mattress and propping his head up with his hand as he regards Minsik. Then the man was dipping out of sight, the mattress beneath him letting out a sigh at his added weight. Youngkyun took that moment to flop onto his back, his eyes staring up at the ceiling as he considers the question. "I have met a few blacksmiths," is all he says. Purposefully leaving off the 'and none of them were as small as you' if only not to annoy his newfound roommate all too soon. The smile that curls on his lips boyish as he turns his head to regard the other. "then what of you? are you a man that has far surpassed the men of my age and are at the pinnacle of life?" Tipping his head one way, then the other before he is rolling onto his side. He wonders why a man needs to carry so many weapons to go on a voyage across the sky, but he chooses not to ask. "I age.." He had grown grey more times than he could count. "Do I seem anything other than human?" What had given him away?
