@soyeon j. ʰ Woohyuk bit the inside of his cheeks as he looked up at the female. "I guess humans.. aren't so much different than hybrids.. other than the appearance.." he mumbled softly, a small smile reappearing at his lips at her words "no no it does help... knowing that you're not alone.. in this big world.. that helps me quite a bit" he admitted, stretching his arms out slightly as he took in a deep breath of the fresh air.

"Wealth and prosperity... I didn't know flowers have meanings.. Do all flowers have meanings?" he asked, his head tilting slightly in curiosity. He pulled his hand back and tugged his sleeves back down, covering the markings he had on his wrists. He looked back down on the ground, looking at the different flowers on the path.

@woohyuk y. • ʰᵒˡˡᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵖ She nodded slowly, the lightest of smiles forming over her lips, one that seemed like it held anything but happiness. 'I was.. in all honestly, I still am. I know that probably isn't very confidence boosting since I'm here to help you, but.. I'm still only human.' The blonde let out a deep sigh; 'Of course. You'll never be alone when it comes to things like that.. it's a sad truth, really.'

Soyeon held the edges of her book again and lowered both arms, watching the latter with curious eyes. 'Paperwhites often symbolize wealth and prosperity.. but, they can also stand for purity, love so deep the ocean doesn't compare but an innocent, passionate love,' she explained, a flush washing over her cheeks at the fact it wasnt asked for. The doctor fell silent, flushing growing a little dark at the action, all words lost for the moment.

@soyeon j. ʰ Woohyuk blinked a bit at the female’s words. He was never aware that there were people like him and he wasn’t alone in the world. He bit his lower lip and looked down at his sleeve a bit worn from chewing and playing with. “Y-you.. you were? I didn’t think... there would be others...” he said, looking back up at the psychiatrist before looking away. “But you’re... you look... never mind...” he said, blinking a bit when the other crouched down.

Seeing the white flower in her hand, he reached over and grabbed it, holding it delicately between his fingers. “Oh... I guess there are... others who help..” he mumbled, mostly to himself and studied the flower in his hands. “So white... and pure...” he mumbled, before falling silent for a brief moment. He then reached out and put the flower behind the female’s ear, smiling slightly. “Pretty..”

@woohyuk y. • ʰᵒˡˡᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵖ Soyeon softened further as she listened to the patient speak, a frown lighting up on her lips. 'I.. I'm sorry. I know it won't help or anything but, I was in the same situation once. Family was a mess but they didn't believe in admitting us to get help,' she mused with a slow nod, hoping to find some ground of understanding with the latter, 'I remember my brother found me out in the garden, in the same state as you, barely even alive. It's a scary thing.. teetering on the edge of life and death, wondering if it's too late to survive.'

The blonde shook her head. 'Not really. Don't ever allow people to force you into positions you aren't ready for,' she advised with a small smile. Frowning, she thought for a second before straying from the path to crouch down, plucking up a paperwhite to hand over to him. 'I'm not generally bothered unless it's really bad or it's monthly evaluations.. so really, if anything happens, I'm here to help.'

@soyeon j. Woohyuk blinked and looked up at the other. He took in a deep breath and bit the inside of his cheek. “I wanted to.. die. I’ve had enough in my family... treating me like I was.... a stress bag or something” he said softly, looking back down at his hands. “So.. I stabbed myself... sadly I missed my heart by.... a slight. So here I am” he said, looking away. “I was out... for at least a week they told me.. lost too much blood or whatever” he added with a slight bitterness to his voice.

He blinked and looked back up at the other “oh... that’s nice... I guess. I’d say that’s.. quite lucky even...” he mumbled softly with a shrug. “I... I’m sure most people... have other people to tend to... more... immediate people. But okay..” he said, scuffing his feet against the floor slightly.

@woohyuk y. • ʰᵒˡˡᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵖ 'Unconsious?' Her eyebrow raised slowly, wondering just why the latter would have been. Beyond his own accord, the staff were only permitted if the patient was dangerous, 'Can I ask why..? You don't have to tell me. Speaking of that, if there's anything you don't want to answer or discuss, I won't make you.' Soyeon had learned long ago that force got you nowhere in the field of being a therapist, but trust went pretty far.

Just offering a little smile, she closed the door behind them and crossed her arms, holding her small book close. 'Nice to meet you as well,' she nodded, turning her attention to looking out along the vast expanse, 'Mm. My brother runs the place so.. I woke up one day being told I had a new job and ta dah, here we are. The other therapists can be.. well, the staff here at Blackgate can be rough unless you get lucky.. so, if something ever happens, just come find me, yeah?'

Woohyuk jumped slightly when the other turned and purses his lips. “I haven’t seen... a staff ever since I came... but then again I know I was unconscious for a while...” he said and shrugged “they probably did tell me while I was out.. thinking I was just sleeping or pretending to sleep...” he said, bowing to the orderly as he left.

He followed the female out to the walking path and bowed his head “I.. it’s nice to meet you.. I guess..” he said, his voice barely above a whisper, looking up at her “head psychologist? Oh.. uh... I don’t know... if I need anything... but thank you..?” He asked, following beside the other.

@woohyuk y. • ʰᵒˡˡᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵖ Being so engulfed in her thoughts, Soyeon flinched a little at the presence with her and her feel, sweeping back blonde bangs that obscured her vision. 'You weren't?' Her gaze immediately trailed to the orderly with pursed lips before it returned to the patient before her, 'Sorry for the sudden disturbance then. /Some/ people around here don't exactly know how to do there jobs.' Smiling lightly, she waved the latter staff away and moved to nudge the door open, 'Not at all.'

As if she'd forgotten something, the blonde paused, raking her brain. Eyes lighting up in realization, her brows pulled together and her smile turned sheepish. 'I'm Soyeon, by the way.. The head psychologist here. Sorry we haven't been acquainted sooner, I was away.. I do hope I can offer some type of assistance to you,...?'

@soyeon j. Woohyuk blinked when an orderly came and knocked on his door telling him of a session he wasn’t even aware of. With a soft sigh, he slid off his bed and shuffled across his room to the door, following the orderly out of his room. His eyes were glued to the floor as he walked behind the orderly, his brows knitted a bit as some patients sneered at him and his rather small frame, joking how he could easily be hidden away and no one would even notice his hiding. He bit his lower lip as he was led towards the doors to the backyard.

Once they reached the door, he saw a sight of a woman with a white coat. He had assumed she was one of the psychologists in the hospital. He fiddled with his fingers lightly “I... wasn’t aware.. I had a session scheduled...” he mumbled, looking over at the female cautiously. “H-have you been waiting long...?” He asked in a voice barely above a whisper.

@woohyuk y. • ʰᵒˡˡᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵖ With her day proving to be mildly empty of sessions, it would be a lie to say Soyeon wasn't looking forward to one in the evening, staring holes into the clock on her desk. The quiet of her office left her mind to roam in places she helped other's avoid or deal with, ignoring her training when it came to herself - she didn't often enjoy lingering on her deteriorating mental state. Five minutes before the session was to begin, she'd left to roam out of the corridors towards the back, her white coat in hand to brace the cool breeze she knew would greet them. She was greeted on her way by patients happy to see her and staff who sneered, not to fond of the human; she had a bad reputation among those who didn't treat patients fairly but smiled anyway.

With her coat settled onto her frame and the little blue book of notes in hand, she leaned by the back doors, looking into the vast backyard. Familiar with the grounds she grew up on, a frown tugged at her lips when she thought back on some things she'd seen happen; things she never wanted to see again. Soyeon grew oblivious to the world as she thought, losing track of time.
