@san c. One week; an entire seven days. That's how long Wooyoung was kept in the red room but it seemed to last an eternity as he was poked and prodded at; teased and manhandled. Regardless of how the situation really was, he'd known that if caught he'd face the worst part - he was the hybrid after all. Compared to San, the feline was a monster in the eyes of the doctors and psychologists, deeming him unsafe for the time being until releasing him into the hall with no guidance. He felt fragile and broken by the time he was free to return to his room, golden skin covered in bruises and a few healing cuts, lower tier busted and cheek dark with a harsh bruise; he was an utter mess but he deserved it, right? He was convinced of that. With his ears pressed back and tail wound tightly around his waist, he avoided San like the plague on his venture back to his ward, wanting nothing but to hide away. Of course, part of him ached to seek out the human and indulge in the comforting warmth he radiated but he knew he couldn't and he most likely wouldn't have the pleasure of doing so ever again. The blonde was slow in his movements, almost like they were delayed and he was passed the point of exhaustion - it made him irritable despite his tender state of mind. He didn't want to be spoken to, touched, or even within a foot of another being that wasn't San and the thought made him clench his fists. He needed to get to his room as quickly as his body would allow before he threw a fit or had a breakdown.

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ When the door to Wooyoung's room burst open, the outline of three large men crossing the threshold, San tried to hold onto the hybrid, arching his back as he pressed his slender body over the other's more substantial form. Even though he did his best to protect the golden haired patient, he knew in his heart that his efforts were futile, his eyes growing wide when two of the burly staff members easily pulled Wooyoung out of his arms, dragging the writhing ocelot hybrid off the bed. San could see that Wooyoung was losing control, and his only coherent thought was that he had to help his newfound friend. Before one of the orderlies could grab him, San leapt to his feet, his eyes flashing with anger in stark contrast to the fragility of his exposed frame, his oversized shirt and boxers his only clothing. Oblivious to his appearance, San fell upon one of the staff members who was manhandling Wooyoung, yelling over the cacophony of sounds that the ocelot hybrid was emitting as he struggled to be free. "He didn't do anything wrong. This is all my fault. Don't hurt him! Don't hurt him!" San balled one of his hands into a fist, trying to hit anyone who was struggling with Wooyoung, but before he could strike, he was lifted into the air, one of the orderlies effortlessly pulling him into his arms, even as San squirmed and screamed, his feet kicking frantically as he clawed at the staff members arm. "Let him go! LET HIM GO!" The hypodermic shone in the light spilling in from the hallway, and San's body slumped when he saw them inject Wooyoung with something, the staff members making no effort to be gentle as they plunged the needle into the hybrid's neck. "No," San moaned, tears brimming in his eyes as he watched Wooyoung slip to the floor, unconscious. All his fight gone, San could only mumble over and over, "He didn't do anything wrong - - " while two of the staff members dragged Wooyoung away, the remaining orderly grabbing San's arm, pulling him out of the room. The orderly cursed at the dark haired patient as they marched back to San's ward, tears clouding San's eyes as he imagined where the others might be taking the hybrid, knowing he was going to do whatever he could to convince the doctors that Wooyoung was not the instigator of the trouble, willing to confess his own complicity regardless of the consequences if it meant setting the ocelot hybrid free.

@san c. His hand stayed on his thigh, kneading it softly as the male nosed into his neck; he was getting sleepier the longer they laid there. Content and wrapped up in the human's scent, he began pressing small kisses against the top of his head, nose pressing to the crown. Wooyoung hadn't expected the words and it seemed like he thought over them forever, wondering what it would be like; how it would feel to call San his prince. The feline parted his lips to speak before his ears were twitching, burying himself further against him with a small whimper. 'But-' before he could finish, the door was open and he was already being yanked out of his bed, already beginning to thrash around and reach towards the raven. He heard nothing but static, barely able to see through the angry tears that formed along his waterline - he was becoming violent as he tried getting away, wanting nothing but to just curl back up in his bed, safely tucked against the latter. His lips parted to let out words and sounds he couldn't even register through the blinding rage and what felt like physical pain; he couldn't help but be upset over the fact he didn't get to answer. Wooyoung felt a pinch against his neck and things slowly faded to black, his thin frame going limp against the floor with no thoughts than how the other was being treated.

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ Hearing Wooyoung say his name made San smile. He never knew something so simple could make him so happy. As their bodies tangled together, San struggled to get as close to the hybrid as he could, doing his best to ignore the fact that he'd be in trouble if he was caught in Wooyoung's arms. Privileges and freedom seemed a small price to pay to spend these precious moments with the other patient. Even though San could feel fear bubbling up inside of him when he thought about being separated from the ocelot hybrid which would surely happen if the staff found them together, he did his best to focus on the present, his body heating up as he pressed his slender frame against Wooyoung's more substantial figure. Wooyoung's hand left his hair, and San was embarrassed when he trembled as the hybrid's hand slid down his thigh, his strong fingers grasping San's leg, lifting it over his hip, his thick thigh pushing between San's. Biting his lip, trying not to betray how excited he felt when his body was this close to the hybrid's, San tried to answer Wooyoung's question, his voice barely above a whisper as they lay together in the dark. "If you'd have me, I'd love to be your prince. I think we've both had horrible experiences in our past. I want to forget all the bad. I would much rather be your prince and protect you from all the evil in the world as best as I can." Nuzzling Wooyoung's throat, inhaling his scent, San began to grow more calm, pushing away any concerns about the future in favor of the joys of the moment. "All I want is to be with you so I can try to make you happy, Wooyoung." Before San could say more, he heard footsteps in the hallway, the clinking of a large keyring telling him that it was one of the staff. Pulling Wooyoung against his chest, he whispered, "This is all my fault if we're caught - - remember that. I am the one to blame."

@san c. 'San..' At first, as his frame easily tangled itself up within the human's, Wooyoung found himself wanting to question so many things; too ask more questions than he probably should, but they died on his tongue as the comforting warmth lulled his thoughts. He wouldn't admit it later on but the closeness made him feel safe from himself; made him feel welcomed and happy, tucking himself closer and offering a squeeze to his thigh. A free hand came up to thread his fingers through San's locks, almost like he was keeping him in place to relish in how they fit together - he didnt know when it would happen again, on a count of the rules and his own issues. The feline purred deep in his chest, ears twitching at the touch over them, nuzzling towards it slightly. 'Don't want you to leave me,' he whispered, the fear in his voice evident as the idea of not being able to be around him made a wave of tears want to wash over him - he held back for the latter's sake. The words echoed through his head and for a while he stayed silent, enjoying the pet name and the sweet little things he said; no one had ever said things to him like that and meant it. Curling to seemingly drag him closer, if even remotely possibly, the feline held onto him like he was a plush, feeling protected under his company. The hand left his hair to trail down his side; he hiked San's leg up to hook over his hip, effectively sliding his own between them so they could be as close as allowed. 'If.. if I'm your princess,' he began in a hushed tone, 'does that make you the prince..?'

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ San settled himself comfortably against the ocelot hybrid, shivering a little when Wooyoung's tail curled around his bare thigh, the sensation of fur rubbing against his sensitive skin nothing that the dark haired man had experienced before. Resting a hand on the hybrid's chest, the warmth of the blankets coupled with the heat from Wooyoung's body making San feel contented, he began to nuzzle Wooyoung, smiling gently when his only friend at Blackgate told him he was glad that San was happy, offering a simple thank you for his company. "I want to stay with you, Wooyoung. I wish - - I wish I never had to leave you." Whispering, San began to the hybrid's hair, his soft fingers teasing one of the ocelot's ear, scratching it gently, his whole body vibrating with his awareness of Wooyoung's presence. "If I could always stay with you - - if I could always take care of you, and make sure that you were happy and safe, I would, Wooyoung." Bumping his nose against Wooyoung's throat, San mumbled, "My princess. No one should ever be allowed to hurt you again - - "

@san c. The feline felt the sudden jolt when the lights had gone out, instinctively tightening his hold on the latter like he'd disappear with the light. Wooyoung didn't like the dark, or more so, didn't like what lurked in it - what his brain told him was in it. His demons waited for the darkness to prey on him so he appreciated the lengthy hold he had with San, feeling like he could keep all of those bad things away and soon enough, he found tears welling up in his eyes, thankful that said human couldn't see them. The blonde had been too preoccupied with mentally chanting to himself that things were fine, that he was fine, that he was safe, which meant he flinched when the other joined him once more, much to his delight. Wooyoung automatically curled one arm around d his shoulders, hugging him close while his tail re-coiled itself around his thigh; he needed as much contact as possible to ward off the things trying to grab and yank him into the precipice of void. 'I.. I'm glad you're happy,' was all he could manage to whisper, squeezing his thin frame gingerly with a sigh, 'thank you for staying with me..'

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ San knew that he would be punished if - - or much more likely, when - - he was caught with Wooyoung. While patient's were allowed to visit each other's rooms during the day, they were forbidden to leave their own rooms at night. To make matters worse, San had been expressly told not to venture into the violet ward, but he knew those warnings were not going to stop him. He wanted to see Wooyoung, so he would go wherever Wooyoung had to be. Besides, the ocelot hybrid had given up some of his hard earned privileges to get the day room door unlocked for San, so how could San quibble over any punishment he might receive for wandering into a forbidden part of Blackgate? As these thoughts swirled in his head, the lights on the ward suddenly went out, startling San, his hands clenching as he clung to Wooyoung. Pressing himself closer to the hybrid, San whispered, "I won't leave. I want to be here with you." Pressing a kiss against Wooyoung's cheek, San rose to his feet, holding one of Wooyoung's hands for as long as he could, his fingers only slipping away when he had his jeans ped, needing both hands to pull the tight denim off his slender frame. Once his eyes grew accustomed to the dark, he folded his pants, leaving them on the foot of the bed before he climb back in, pulling the covers over himself, his arms reaching for Wooyoung. Hoping the hybrid hadn't seen how thin he was, San nuzzled Wooyoung's throat, pressing innocent kisses against his warm skin. "I'm so happy - - I haven't been happy in such a long time."

@san c. Wooyoung could feel the male's heart beating in his chest, could /hear/ it and the sound made his skin crawl in a delightful way. It was as if he was slowly but surely realizing what was really happening; that he was in the arms of someone, whispering back the sweet words and allowing himself to feel whatever it was that made him breathless and his mind hazy. This side of him, whichever it was, didn't want to disappoint or hurt him, the thought scaring him. San was the only person to dare get this close, so to lose him would probably throw the feline back into the dark spot he'd been in not too long ago. As he came to terms with his own fear, he tightened his tale around the human's waist, a sign showing just how desperate he was to keep him close regardless of consequences. His lips puffed up to return each kiss like it was heavenly mana and he'd possibly cease to exist without the constant; he didn't bother with anything but San's voice ringing in his ears when his back was flat to the mattress below. His ears twitched and laid back, looking up to him with a curious gaze that flicked from him to the tiny window of his room's door. 'Please do.. stay with me tonight,' he mumbled, 'hold me. I-.. just please don't leave.' As soon as he'd said the works, the lights to the violet ward were cut and they were left in the pitch dark.

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ Shaking his head when Wooyoung warned him that he might be disappointed someday, San only moved closer to the hybrid, the soft whimper of the other patient making his heart flutter. San wished he could make Wooyoung understand how he felt, but he was struggling to understand himself. He just knew that disappointment was not a possibility for him. Every little tidbit of information that he learned about the ocelot hybrid only made San want to know him more. As the clung to each other in the darkened room, San's fingers exploring the other's soft skin, the dark haired patient could feel his confidence growing. Even though it was clear that Wooyoung was struggling with his conflicted emotions, he didn't push San away. San could feel his heart pounding when the hybrid mumbled that he never wanted to let him go, knowing in the depths of his being that he wasn't being lied to. Stealing a few more soft kisses, San leaned back when Wooyoung spoke again, his hands returning to his sides as his eyes grew wide. "I want to stay with you - - I want it more than anything." Pressing Wooyoung back against the bed, San hovered over the hybrid, reaching out to his golden hair, his fingers gentle as they brushed over the hybrid's ears. "May I sleep with you, Wooyoung? I want to hold you in my arms tonight if you'll let me."

@san c. With his lips easily moving with whatever rhythm the male wanted, his tail offered a squeeze to his thighs before it was flickering against his frame. The appendage slithered beneath his shirt to move against his smooth skin, curling around his waist to make sure they were flush together; as close as they possibly could be. Wooyoung couldn't help how in love with feeling he was; drowning in the feeling of melting in the human's hold and willing to do whatever he asked of him. Managing to push his thoughts and voices aside, he found himself calming down to be fully vulnerable, all walls crumbling around him for the sake of San's presence. Not once had he allowed himself to be so pliant for another, flinching beneath the touch of his fingertips against his skin but by no means did he try to pull away. 'Meant to know me?' He questioned, breath fanning over the humans lips, not wanting to pull away, 'you're going to be disappointed with knowing me.' As if the words triggered something in him, he whimpered against his lips, curling his shirts to tighten his hold on his shirt, 'Don't ever want to let you go, San.' It wasn't something he could promise or put his word to, but it was sincere in the moment, never wanting the moment to come to an end, 'Stay with me tonight.'

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ San was sure his explanation probably didn't make sense to the hybrid, but the dark haired man was at a loss to justify how he knew there was something special about Wooyoung. He'd never really had anyone in his life who valued him, and he'd honestly gotten used to the idea that he would spend his life alone. His parents had grown tired of him because while they'd beaten him down for years, destroying his self esteem, San still had some fire inside him, and he would express his opinions whether his parents liked it or not. Now San found himself at Blackgate, his parents footing the bill, just so they could keep him out of their house. He knew his attachment to the ocelot hybrid was hard to understand, but San was sure he was right. There was something between the two men - - some kind of connection. It was the first time he'd ever felt anything like this for anyone. He didn't want to put a name on his emotions, but he knew he was going to fight to stay by Wooyoung's side. As the two men clung to each other, the sound of their breathing hanging heavy in the air, San reveled in the taste of Wooyoung's lips, his mouth catching his delicate upper tier, on it as the ocelot hybrid's tail wrapped around his thigh, the sensation exciting him, sending shivers through his slender frame. Leaning closer to the hybrid, San mumbled against his lips. "I know it doesn't make any sense. All I know is I feel like I was meant to know you." Groaning when Wooyoung's mouth pressed against his, nipping at his lips, San's hands clenched, sliding under the hem of the hybrid's shirt, the pads of his fingers teasing Wooyoung's skin. "Don't let me go. Please, Wooyoung. Hold onto me."

@san c. As he spoke, the feline let each word soak into his mind; his tone, the fact he seemed so keen on him even knowing how he was - there was something oddly special about the human before him. 'I see..' was all he could get out, at a loss of words and wondering if anything he said could even explain how he felt. Wooyoung had trouble grasping the sincerity and genuine lilt in his answer - he'd never once seen himself as something special by any means, but here was someone who'd only /seen/ him and wanted to know him. His eyes were slightly wide when the sentence cut off but his words were swallowed as his request was fulfilled, sinking into a state in which nothing outside of the small room existed. His hands had left from exploring his features to wind his arms around San's neck, one hand in his hair - every touch and hold was an anchor, keeping him as attached to the human as he possibly could be. The feline was comfortable being flush against him, his tail even sliding to wrap tightly around the latter's thigh, dragging himself further against him until getting closer was impossible. Wooyoung's experience with kissing was limited, only within the range of forced or unwanted in general, but the way his lips fit against San's had him forgetting everything, their tiers moving so easily together. The sounds, the rise and fall of their connected chests; it was all making him feel like the room was growing smaller, fingers gripping gently onto his hair as a whimper sounded. His nipping and on the human's lips was mildly careful, wanting to taste him and lose himself to the dizzying feeling.

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ By the tone of his voice alone, San could tell that Wooyoung wasn't lying to him, but he'd never heard anyone say such nice things about him before, so it was hard to accept. Taking a deep breath, San nuzzled the hybrid, his nose bumping against Wooyoung's cheek, trying to focus his mind on Wooyoung's question rather than deal with the emotions that his praise engendered. "Why you? I - - I noticed you the first day I arrived. You were with one of the orderlies - - you were coming out of what I learned later was the dining room. You glared at me, and I thought I'd never seen someone so beautiful before." San's face flushed, and he realized it sounded like he was some kind of silly schoolboy in love. Pressing his lips together, he hurried on with his story. "The staff told me to stay away from you, but that only made me want to know you more. I would listen to them talk about you, and I understood that you had problems - - problems far worse than mine. But - - I saw you one day from the window in my room. You were outside in the afternoon sun. Your face was relaxed, you even had a hint of a smile, and I knew in that moment that I wanted to know you better. When I walked into the day room and saw you, I thought it was my lucky day. I could finally talk to you - -" San's melodious voice grew quiet for a moment. "I want you to be my princess too. No one has ever cared about me, but I think we could be - - " San bite his lip, afraid to say what he really wanted from the hybrid, worried Wooyoung would think he was foolish. His arms flexed, drawing the golden haired man closer to him, his scent wafting over him, and all San could think about was how much he needed Wooyoung by his side. His lips covered the hybrid's, greedy and rough, on Wooyoung's delicate lips as if his life depended on it, his hands coming to rest on the small of Wooyoung's back, his nails pressing into his skin through his clothes in the darkened room, the sound of their mouths meeting, wet and needy, filling the room.

@san c. Wooyoung found himself soaking up the warmth that sank deep into his skin at any area touched as though he was laying in the sun; San couldn't be explained better in a single word than just that; sunlight. The only difference was maybe he wouldn't mind going blind if it meant he could stare at him for hours on end - something he realized he could do with ease. It wasn't a thought he'd have seeing as every fiber of his being was against this; being touched, being held, being spoken to and yet, he was pretty much in the mindset to allow the human to do as he pleased. 'Did.. did I slip languages..?' The question was thoroughly innocent through and through, wondering why he'd question it- a childlike innocence that slipped through very rarely. 'Why would I tease you, hm..? I really do.. you're the most gorgeous, breath taking person I've ever seen,' he purred the words, doing his best to hide the pained expression in his eyes as his mental state was beginning to shift but he didnt want to give in; didn't want to lose the closeness. 'I don't have any reason to lie or tease you,' he added, nose wrinkling up a little, 'W..why..? Why me..?' It didnt make sense to Wooyoung why anyone would see him in such a way - he wasn't oblivious to how he was, nor had he forgotten how he'd spoken to the human only hours before. The feline could feel his flush darkening, the words causing some type of feeling that he didn't understand, some warm type of desire and the presence of lips made him tremble. 'I'd love to be your princess,' the comment came out in a breathy whisper, not even worrying if he'd heard it; he was focused solely on the closeness and the sound of his heart in his sensitive ears. 'K-kiss me, please.. kiss me, San.' It was almost a plea, like he needed it before he found himself pushing the other away - the thought and overwhelming feeling nearly brought tears to his eyes.

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ San could feel the tension in Wooyoung's body, but once he had the hybrid in his arms, he wasn't willing to set him free. He knew that Wooyoung had trouble with any kind of touching, any kind of affection, but San couldn't help himself. There was no way to know when he'd have another opportunity to be alone with the patient he'd been crushing on since he'd arrived at Blackgate. Of course, the doctors would tell him to focus on his own recovery and not concern himself with the hybrid in the violet ward, but San knew there was something special about Wooyoung - - something special about the two of them - - and he wasn't going to shy away now. Every small touch Wooyoung initiated, his fingers playing with San's hair or brushing over his jawline gave San the courage to stay. "What?" San was suprised by Wooyoung's words. His life had been sheltered before he arrived at Blackgate, and besides a few classmates at school, no one had ever been kind to him. To hear Wooyoung say that his family had been lying to him - - better yet, that Wooyoung found him gorgeous - - left San at a loss, his face flushing deeply, unsure how to react to such flattery. "No one has ever said anything like that to me before. You're not teasing me, are you? Do you really think I'm gorgeous?" San's voice and expression both revealed how incredulous he felt. Before he could question Wooyoung further, San heard his soft whimper, and he immediately understood how hard all of this was for the hybrid. "I've been lucky enough to dream about you several times since I arrived here. You couldn't have known since this is the first day that we've spoken, but you've made this place bearable for me." Sighing softly when Wooyoung's nose teased his own, San whispered, "I'm glad you like it - - I want you to be my princess. Not just in my dreams - - " Tightening his arms around Wooyoung, San pressed a kiss against the corner of his mouth, his lips lingering, a tremulous roar in his ears as his heart pounded wildly in his chest.

@san c. It didn't take long after looking over him and studying his features that Wooyoung found himself wanting to pull away and kick him out; despite that small child in his crying for the attention, the fear of attachment sank deeper. The feline fought mentally, tooth and nail, with himself to try to not push away the one person that seemed so keen on being near him. His breath caught in his throat briefly as the warm breath washed over his skin, earning a visible shudder to rock through him, goosebumps crawling up along the flesh. Hearing the word repeated, he could only nod, fingers gently pushing through and smoothing his raven locks, touching the human as if he could shatter beneath his touch just as easily as himself - by no means did he think he was fragile but he couldn't help the tentative way his hands moved; the fingers on his features stopped to brush his fingertips along his jaw, along to ghost against his lower tier. 'They lied,' he answered quietly, seemingly entranced on just looking over him, drinking in his sharp face, 'They.. they must have just been jealous because you're the most gorgeous person I've ever met.' The words were too nice for someone like him, too /pretty/ to be leaving the hybrids mouth and he found his ears pressing flat against his blonde locks, a faint whimper sounding in his throat at the name. 'You dream of me?' he didn't realize he'd even said the words at first, nor that he was tilting his head closer, enough to lightly brush their noses together as his eyes fluttered shut, inhaling the intoxicating scent that radiated off San in waves. 'I, I like that.. like hearing you call me that.'

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ Based on their previous interactions, San would never have predicted that Wooyoung would cling to him so tightly. Surprised, but quite pleased by their closeness, San thought he he was living in a dream. Ever since he'd seen Wooyoung the first time, one of the nurses pointing out the golden haired patient as someone to avoid on the day San arrived at Blackgate, he'd wondered what it would be like to hold someone as beautiful as the ocelot hybrid in his arms. Embarrassed by his own desire, San could feel a shiver run down his spine when Wooyoung whispered his name, the sound even more intoxicating than anything that San had ever imagined. Sighing against Wooyoung's throat when the hybrid's fingers slipped into his hair, San nudged the spot he'd just kissed, his nose bumping against Wooyoung's skin. Biting his lower lip to smother the groan that was trying to escape when Wooyoung pulled away from him, San looked at the other patient, wondering what could have engendered such a frown, but before he could ask about it, the hybrid touched San's face, his fingers warming his skin. "Gorgeous?" San was caught off guard by Wooyoung's compliment, and he studied the other patient's features for a few moments, trying to determine if he was being mocked, but, to his relief, he only saw sincerity on the other's face. "My - - my family has always told me I"m ugly." His voice was barely above a whisper. "They say I"m ugly inside and out." Swallowing hard, San mumbled, "But you - - I've been dreaming about you." San's face flushed at his confession, but he managed to keep his eyes locked on Wooyoung's. "In my dreams, I protect you - - because you're mine. My princess."

@san c. Upon feeling his arms tighten, the feline pressed flush against the human with ease like he craved something about him; be it the scent, the warmth, the comfort he wasn't used to - he didn't know what it was. The closeness sent waves of warmth through his veins, doing whatever he could to nuzzle closer into him. Slowly, his tears subsided and he was left feeling empty and tired, finally able to silence the voice in the back of his head. It had been far too many years of tucking away to break just so he could play numb in front of people, just so he could let that dark side of his brain win. San's voice hushed anything else and lulled him into a comfortable, eased state he didn't even know existed within himself, though the words made him feel - warm, squirmy even. The blonde wondered how the latter patient saw him to think such a thing, the compliment causing his features to drench in a soft flush. 'San..' he breathed upon his roaming lips, the hold on the material growing a little tighter. One of his hands left his shirt to slither up the back of the human's neck into his raven locks, a very soft hold compared to the previous; it didnt help that his neck was horribly sensitive. However, he soon pulled away to look at him, a deep frown settling over his lips as he heard the rather unbelievable comment. 'Ugly..?' He began, bringing his free hand up to touch the latter's cheek, 'W.. who even told you something like that..? You're.. you're gorgeous. I- your princess..?' He mumbled the last part, eyes flickering with some type of emotion that was unreadable.

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ When Wooyoung confessed that he had actually been the one who had gotten the door unlocked in the day room, that he'd given up his own freedom so the other patient wouldn't be afraid, San felt a funny tingle deep in his chest, his heart fluttering wildly because someone had been selfless and helped him. San's arms tightened, drawing the attractive golden haired hybrid closer to him, a sudden need to comfort the other patient foremost in his mind. Wooyoung's body shook a little as he tried to control his tears, and San did his best to assuage any concern that the ocelot felt, whispering gentle words, telling the other patient not to worry, but the longer he held Wooyoung, the more intimate the words became, the thoughts that he'd had since the first moment he'd noticed the other patient spilling past his lips. He thought about his own appearance - - all the years of his mother telling him that he was ugly had warped San's own opinion of his looks, and he was sure that he was unattractive - - but when he looked at Wooyoung, all he saw was beauty. "You're so pretty," San whispered, his lips brushing against Wooyoung's ear when the hybrid's fingers fisted his shirt. "More beautiful than a princess, really - - " Nodding, San pressed another soft kiss against Wooyoung's skin, his lips meeting the ocelot hybrid's throat, the thrum of his pulse vibrating against San's mouth. "I'm so ugly, I feel like I shouldn't even look at you, but I can't help myself - - my princess."

@san c. He could deny he felt like a child as he sat there, even if he did have the overwhelming urge to sink into it; to just fall apart and be watched over by someone for even a minute. Of course there was a part of him thrashing inside, telling him to push the human out and tell him not to speak to him again - it was inevitable to feel that way. 'I hope they do, I.. I'm not allowed outside for a week now,' he mumbled, lowering his eyes as he fidgeted with his sleeve, 'I'm.. I didn't want you to be trapped entirely in that room because of me.' Wooyoung settled quite easily compared to how arduous he'd been previously, seeking the warmth of the raven as if he hadn't had physical affection in years - for good reason. The feline's ears laid flat as he was pressed so close to him, senses drenched in the scent from the latter and it only dragged him closer, wiggling himself flush to San with a few sniffles as he tried to put a stop to his fresh tears. Hearing the promise his arms got tighter, features flushing under the affection and he tipped his head enough to look at him, eyes shimmering a bit. The blush only grew darker and he found himself purring lowly, fingers curling into his shirt. 'I.. I'm not-- not pretty,' he mumbled, 'princess..? I-'

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ Wooyoung was so quiet that San was afraid his anger was overwhelming him to the point that he couldn't find any words, but as he watched the hybrid, he realized that his eyes were actually growing more gentle as he stared at the little offerings that San had brought with him. Looking around the room, San noticed a small bathroom. Hopping to his feet, he skipped over to the room, growing more relaxed with every passing minute. He found a glass in the bathroom that he thought would work as a makeshift vase, and filling it about halfway with water, he returned to Wooyoung's bed, taking the flowers, unwrapping them carefully, his deft fingers arranging them in the glass before he leaned over, setting the display on Wooyoung's nightstand. "If you're lucky the flowers will last for several days - - add more water if you notice that they're getting dry." San smiled at the other patient, his eyes growing a little wide when he noticed that Wooyoung was crying again. Wondering if he'd done something wrong, he reached for Wooyoung just as the golden haired patient reached for him, their arms circling one another. Tugging Wooyoung close to him, their chest rubbing, San whispered soft words in the hybrid's ear, trying to soothe him, a hint of a smile on his lips when he was asked to stay. "Don't worry. I won't go anywhere. I promise." Impulsively, San turned his head, kissed the hybrid's cheek, murmuring, "Even when you cry, you still look pretty, you know." Nodding, San nuzzled the ocelot hybrid's cheek, mumbling softly, his arms tightening possessively. "Just like a princess."

@san c. Watching the movements with lagged attention and a slowly calming heart beat from the startling, the blonde frowned when he commented. 'Not exactly what I wanted pointed out,' he muttered as a sleeve covered hand raised to rub at his eyes in a childish manner. Wooyoung felt icky now that someone had seen him shed his little facade, his demon like alter ego that made sure everyone backed off - he felt uncomfortable knowing that San so easily found a way to see him so broken. Flinching at the touch, he gradually eased and finally let his gaze fall on the human, eyebrows pulling together; 'You're going to end up in the red room with behaviour like that.. it's not worth it.' His tone was saturated in worry that he'd never admit to, not wanting to see him get into trouble over him - he paused, wondering why he actually cared. Staring at the flowers like he'd never seen them before, he looked between San and them a few times before reaching to carefully take them, studying them with continuously softening eyes, 'I..' he really didn't know what to say at that point. It didn't help that he could feel tears forming at his waterline, spilling down his cheeks silently as he just watched, realizing that someone who didnt even know him thought higher of him, his birthday, more than anyone had in his entire life. It took a few minutes, silence washing over them as he moved the flowers and cookies aside so he could reach, winding his arms around to hug the human to him, automatically nosing into his neck with a small sniffle. 'Please do, please stay.'

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ San had felt frightened when he entered Wooyoung's room, not sure what he might be facing, but when he saw the ocelot hybrid's face, he realized there was nothing here for him to fear. Hurrying across the room when the golden haired patient said his name, he sat on the edge of the bed, his eyes filled with concern. "You've been crying - - " San whispered, stating the obvious. He hadn't expect the belligerent patient to become so emotional, and he suddenly understood that Wooyoung's hard exterior was a protective mechanism. After all, no one could hurt you if you kept them at arm's length. Reaching out, San covered one of Wooyoung's hands with his own, his thumb brushing over it as he spoke. "I wanted to celebrate your birthday with you." Holding up the key he'd purloined from the nurse's station, San smiled sheepishly. "I'll probably get in trouble, but it's worth it, I think." Blinking, the smaller man suddenly remembered the flowers, presenting them with a flourish. "I wish I could have made them prettier, but all I could find was paper and string. I picked all the flowers myself, so I hope you like them." Grinning, his face open and friendly, San produced the box of cookies. "No cake, I'm afraid - - but these are yummy cookies. Honest - - " Scooting a little closer to the other patient, San murmured. "Do you mind if I stay a little while? If we get caught, I'll take all the blame. I just - - I'd like to stay if you don't mind."

@san c. Comfortable tucked away in his darkly lit room, Wooyoung let himself fall apart. Tears pouring down his cheeks and his frame trembling as he pulled his knees so tightly to his chest that his ribs ached; he was miserable. It was moments like that that reminded him he was still somewhat sane, that he still felt enough to get upset over something that he'd otherwise should have ignored. Part of him wanted to leave, to try and get out just to be as far from everyone as possible while the other told him to stop being a child, to stop letting himself fall into such weak moments. At some point, exhaustion from his little episode had him dozing off, teetering between consciousness. By the time he was fully falling asleep, the sound of his rooms door had him sitting up straight with blinking eyes and a fear automatically settling within his gut - usually it could only mean he was about to be treated or dragged off to the red room, however those thoughts were lulled when he heard the human's voice. The blonde's ears laid back flat against his head and he pushed his hair back, his tear strained, puffy featured being put on full display. 'San..?' he mumbled, shifting to tuck himself into the corner of his bed with flickering eyes, feeling some type of anxiety clawing through him at his presence; how had he even managed to get in there? 'What..? Why?' he finally questioned when it registered to him, a rather pathetic, kicked kitten look washing over his features.

@wooyoung j. • ᵒᶜᵉˡᵒᵗ ʰ San knew he had an appointment with his counselor soon, but he was too happy to think about another session delving into his problems: his anxiety, his struggle with his weight and his low self-esteem. He knew all of these issues stemmed from his relationship with his family, yet despite the fact that his parents made him miserable, he realized how lucky he was compared to some. He was in a ward where he was rarely monitored, and he had free run of Blackgate. Well, almost free run. He had been told innumerable times not to go to the violet ward. The violet ward, however, was on his mind. He thought about Wooyoung alone in his room, an orderly guarding the door. No presents except for the little offering that San has made himself, no cake, no party. Wanting to think, San slipped into the garden, sitting on one of the benches, trying to devise a plan. Smiling to himself, he decided there was no reason to make it complicated. A few simple things should brighten the hybrid's day. Jumping to his feet, San picked some flowers, making random choices, mixing colors until he had a nice bouquet. Sneaking into the kitchen, he wrapped the flowers in paper, tying them with a string he found in the drawer, chuckling to himself because he knew the cook would be hanging out by the back door smoking at this time of the day. Poking around in the pantry, San couldn't find any cake, but he found a package of cookies. Tucking them under his arm, he headed to the nurses' station on his floor. Watching the desk, he knew the nurse would soon be distracted by one of her favorite tv shows. With lithe movements, San sidled up to the desk, carefully lifting the key for the violet ward off it's hook, all the while listening to her laughter as she became engrossed in her program. Pausing in the stairwell, San took a deep breath, looking over his haul: flowers, cookies, and a key. It wasn't much, but at least Wooyoung would know that someone was thinking about him. Scurrying up the stairs, San had to linger at the end of the hall, waiting for the orderly to take a break. After about 20 minutes, nature called, and the orderly slouched off to the bathroom, leaving the coast clear for a few moments. Running down the hall, the paper surrounding the flowers crinkling as he moved, San came to a stop outside of Wooyoung's door. Knocking on it softly to warn the occupant that he was about to have company, San pushed the key into the lock, turning it carefully, trying not to make too much noise. Looking around, making sure he wasn't observed, the eager patient pushed open the door just wide enough for him to slip inside, shutting it immediately behind him before he pressed his back against the wall. Panting softly in his excitement, San remained still, waiting for his eyes to grow accustomed to the dim light. "Wooyoung?" He whispered the hybrid's name. "I've come to celebrate your birthday with you - - " The silence frightened San, but he knew he was doing the right thing, and straightening his shoulders, he waited for the ocelot hybrid to respond.
