/helping clean up after breakfast, when I finally head back to your room, I have free time until lunch, so we should be able to take a nice walk/
/knocking on your door, I wait politely for you to ask me to enter, almost feeling like I'm waiting for my date to answer the door/

I tried.. they don’t listen. They think I’m just... saying that because I’m suicidal and by not taking my antidepressants I’ll end up killing myself...
-grabs the yogurt and finishes it off-
Yes... please... it gets a bit... claustrophobic in here sometimes...

That could end up making you feel worse /nodding, I scoot my chair closer to you, concerned about you/ We can take that walk you wanted to take once we finish breakfast. Won't that help you feel less anxious?

I don’t need them. It’s not like I’m... constantly depressed. They claim they’re anti depressant pills but... I don’t think they work..

I don’t k ow what it’s supposed to do.. it makes me all... anxious and nervous. I’d rather not take them...

Looking up when there's a knock on the door, I nod at the nurse who gives me a bit of a quizzical look when she notices me, my usual duties not including eating with the patients. Once she leaves, I watch you, a hint of a frown settling on my features when you toss your medicine on the bed/ While you're eating breakfast, it would be a perfect time to take your pills, Woo. Don't your think so?

-slides out of my seat to answer the door, a small pout on my lips when I see the nurse bringing me the packet of medication-

@woohyuk y. • ʰᵒˡˡᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵖ /when you pout, I shake my head, taking a bit of toast before I sip my coffee/ Don't feel bad. I actually feel proud that you were able to get some sleep last night. Sleep's the best thing for you. Once you get more comfortable here, I bet you'll be able to sleep through the night on your own with no trouble at all. So, missing one dinner doesn't bother me at all /reaching across the table instinctively, forgetting how timid you are, I pat your hand gently/ There's really nothing for you to feel bad about - -

@woohyuk y. • ʰᵒˡˡᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵖ /chuckles/ No, but we always make a couple of extra trays in case one of the patients is being trouble /nods, giving you a smile/ I've had trays throw at me or dropped on purpose, so we like to be ready to replace the meals once the patient calms down /shrugs/ Everyone was well behaved today, so I figured I could eat one of the extra meals myself. No point in letting it go to waste /smiles when you take a bite of your yogurt/ I never ate dinner last night, so I'm starving.

He blinked and watched the other as he went to go and get his tray. “Oh.. do you make yourself a tray too?” He asked, looking over at the other’s tray. He blinked a bit and shook his head “milk and juice is fine. I don’t drink coffee..” he said, opening his yogurt and eating a spoonful.

Been in bed for way too long...” he mumbled, sitting at the chair by the table. “Are you... gonna watch me eat or...” he mumbled tilting his head slightly. “You should get something to eat for yourself.. and eat with me..”

@woohyuk y. • ʰᵒˡˡᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵖ /chuckling when he heard the stifled rumble of the patient's stomach, Mingi carried the tray into the room, pleased with the simple breakfast he'd prepared for Woohyuk/ Would you like to eat in bed or do you think you could eat at the table today? /setting the tray on the table, Mingi fixed the curtains, pulling them back to let some light into the room, but leaving the blinds down to offer the timid patient some privacy/ What do you think? Table or bed?

@mingi s. • ʳᵉᵈ ʷᵒˡᶠ Woohyuk was her his face so he would at least look somewhat presentable and sat back on the bed snuggling into his blanket as he waited. He jumped a bit when he heard the knock and peeled out from his blanket, relaxing when he saw it was just the friendly orderly. He sat up a bit straighter, blinking a bit. “S-strawberries.. I didn’t ask for them... but I do like them... thank you..” he mumbled with a faint but noticeable smile, doing his best to muffle the sound of his stomach growling under the blankets.

@woohyuk y. • ʰᵒˡˡᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵖ Mingi hurried to the staff room, taking a quick shower and changing into a fresh uniform, stowing his old one in his locker. Breakfast trays were ready to be loaded when he arrived at the kitchen, but he took the time to prepare a special tray for Woohyuk, putting vanilla yogurt in a bowl, adding some strawberries he cleaned and sliced on a small plate. He delivered all the other trays, hurrying through his rounds, saving Woohyuk's tray for last. Tapping on the timid patient's door, he entered with a smile, carrying the meal he taken such care with. "I hope you like strawberries, Woohyuk," the wolf hybrid said, his eyes disappearing as his smile grew wider.

@mingi s. • ʳᵉᵈ ʷᵒˡᶠ Woohyuk looked at the clock once again and nodded “I guess I can wait.. and I would.. appreciate the company” he said softly, giving the other a small smile. “Now go and get to work. You’re gonna be late” he said, a soft hum leaving his lips. “I don’t want you getting in trouble because of me” he added, sliding out of his bed and stretching a bit. “I’ll see you in a bit” he said, heading to the small sink in the room to wash his face.

Nodding when the patient asked for vanilla yogurt, Mingi was relieved because he knew that flavor was readily available in the Blackgate kitchen. Glancing at his watch, Mingi's eyes widened. "Breakfast service will start in about a half hour, so I need to hurry." Hearing Woohyuk mention a walk, a thought crossed the orderly's mind. "Could you wait and take your walk after? If you do, I could go with you. It would be nice to get some fresh air." Mingi's expression was hopeful as he stared at the patient, pausing in the doorway even though he knew he needed to report for duty as soon as possible.

@mingi s. • ʳᵉᵈ ʷᵒˡᶠ Woohyuk smiles faintly at the orderly’s words. “Oh... is that.. normal?” He asked, playing with his sheets. He blinked a bit when he was asked what flavor and he hummed a bit in thought. “Vanilla?” He said, straightening up and looking at the clock. “What.. what time is breakfast?” He asked, his cheeks puffing slightly. “I want to go on a walk before breakfast... will I be able to? Or should I wait until after..?”

@woohyuk y. • ʰᵒˡˡᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵖ Mingi chuckled. "I'm the same way. I can't eat much when I first wake up, but I make up for it later." Nodding when the patient suggested yogurt, Mingi smiled, pushing his disheveled hair out of his eyes. "Yogurt will be no problem. Is there a flavor you prefer?" Pausing in the doorway, Mingi had already decided he was going to make sure that Woohyuk got whatever he wanted - - or at least, whatever Mingi could get for him even if it meant running to the local convenience store to buy the flavor of yogurt the patient preferred.

@mingi s. • ʳᵉᵈ ʷᵒˡᶠ Woohyuk relaxed a bit at the other’s smile and looked down at his fingers. “I.. I can try. I don’t have much of an appetite in the morning...” he mumbled softly, looking back up towards the orderly. He blinked a bit in thought and tilted his head. “C-can I get some yogurt? If they have it? I like yogurt..” he said timidly, not having been used to voicing out his thoughts much.

@woohyuk y. • ʰᵒˡˡᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵖ Smiling, Mingi headed toward the door. "At least you didn't seem to have any more nightmares. You would have woke me if you had." His hand resting on the doorknob, Mingi turned toward the other hybrid. "I hope you'll eat some of your breakfast today. Is there anything that sounds good to you? I can make sure you get what you'd like to eat."

@mingi s. • ʳᵉᵈ ʷᵒˡᶠ Woohyuk turned to look at the other when he stirred awake and looked at the clock. He sat up and leaned against the headboard, a soft hum leaving his lips. “I did get some sleep... Oh. Okay. I’ll see you in a bit..” he mumbled, bringing his knees to his chest and resting his chin on top of his knees. He nodded slightly at the others words and looked down at the floor as the other got ready to leave. “I’ll try...”

@woohyuk y. • ʰᵒˡˡᵃⁿᵈ ˡᵒᵖ Mingi woke up early. The sun hadn't even risen yet, and the room was still dimly lit. He smiled when he saw the patient lying next to him, whispering to him softly. "You're already awake? I hope you got some sleep." Sitting up, Mingi ruffled his hair before scooting to the edge of the bed. "I'm going to go. I have to help with breakfast, and I should shower and change in the staff room first. I'll see you soon with your breakfast tray." Standing, Mingi stretched, his arms reaching for the ceiling. Turning toward the bed, he smiled. "You should rest til then, okay?"

He took a deep breath, curling up into a tight fetal position as he let himself fall asleep once again. For the first time in what felt like years, his sleep was uninterrupted for a couple hours before his eyes opened. He blinked a bit and to his back, letting his eyes adjust to the darkness.
