He hummed out softly, returning the kiss lightly before contently latching onto Sicheng, closing his eyes and sighing softly. "I love you too.. And I hope you know it too.." He mumbled once again, grinning slightly.

He'd asked the question many times before and yet still, somehow, he couldn't bring himself to actually believe that this wasn't some dragged out dream that he'd wake up from any moment. It was unfathomable for him.

His eyes fell shut and he took a few moments before hesitantly moving his lips, very clearly unsure of his actions. Arms wrapped around the other, Chenyu stayed close to the other in hopes that staying close could give him a sense of security.

A slightly panicked expression was on his face when he noticed how he said that word so loudly and he quickly adjusted his tone, softening once again and shaking his head. "I just wasnt expecting- since-" he stayed quiet for a bit longer, trying to think of the words. "I never liked anyone or bothered for a relationship with anyone aside from you. And- well, I'm fairly old so... since I've never dealt with a relationship for the almost thirty years leading up to ours.. and I mean avoiding anything relatively romantic and all- even kisses or hugs or holding hands- I um.. I didnt know what to do."
