@爱∙jin ten ᵒ Dejun laughed shyly and shook his head, waving his hand in dismissal. "It's nice to meet you too, Ten!" The beta smiled and took the other's hand pulling himself up and glancing around. It was suddenly a lot colder than a few moments ago. "Yeah, let's go inside then. What would you like to do. I'm not really the coolest with ideas of what to do or anything." He laughed awkwardly, tilting his head to the side.

@爱∙jin dejun ᵇ "Oh- I'm sorry!" he quickly apologized and bowed his head in return. "My name's Ten. It's really nice to meet you, Dejun." He soon stood up and offered the other a hand up afterwards. "Yeah, I was going to ask that as well. I'm starting to get really cold, myself." He continued to smile and rocked on his toes and heels a little, pulling his coat around his frame a little tighter.

"I guess you're right but.. So. What's your name? I don't think you introduced yourself yet. I'm Dejun." He bowed his head shyly. "Should we go inside or something? It's a bit cold out here and I'm starting to freeze right now."

"Unfortunately, it's inevitable. Things will always happen, and most of the time, they are out of our control." He sat up straight and offered a bright smile. "But hey, it'll be alright, you know? We should try to think about the positive outcomes. We all tend to focus on the negative so often."

He played with his necklace some more, closing his eyes in thought. He knew he had to talk to his friend. He had to make sure he was okay. But he was scared. "I will."

Perhaps he is still struggling from what hurt him previously, and it's making it hard for him to open up and allow others in.. Which includes you. That doesn't mean he doesn't like you, though. " He tried to reassure the other male and gave his arm a light comforting pat. "You'll likely have to take the initiative and talk first, but do so slowly. I think you two will be okay in the end."

"I guess so... Maybe," he said with a soft sigh. "But if he was hurt in the past, that just makes me really sad. He doesn't deserve to be hurt. He's so pure and sweet and--" He shook his head, staring down at his hands. "I guess I'll talk to him when he wants to talk. If he ever wants to talk."

@爱∙jin dejun ᵇ It didn't make much sense to Ten as to why the beta's friend couldn't answer a simple question. He understood now why he was at least feeling this way, but he felt there was more to it than what was meeting the eye. "Mm... I don't know this person you're talking about, but could it be that maybe he has something that could potentially be holding him back from getting close to anyone? Perhaps bad experiences with past friendships or relationships? Something that could have traumatized him to a certain degree?" Twiddling his thumbs, he rested his head back against the wall of the tower, looking at the clouds in the sky. "It wouldn't make any sense if there weren't much of a reason.. I wouldn't give up on trying to talk to him, though."

But that's impossible. I-- We recently met but he's the first person I've felt comfortable around... And I don't easily get that comfortable around anyone and... That's something I can't lose but he's trying to slip away," Dejun whispered, twirling the necklace between his fingers. "He wouldn't answer me when I asked if he didn't want to be my friend. He just said he'll let me be. He doesn't like me--"

@爱∙jin dejun ᵇ He watched as he removed the necklace and clenched it in his hand before looking over to meet his gaze. His expression twisted into that of a concerned one once he heard the latter's worries. "Surely neither are the case. Have you brought this up to him? Did you two try to talk things out or anything? I know it's hard to not jump to conclusions, especially when we care so much about someone. However, talking about this with your friend could help ease your worries." Ten suggested and tilted his head a little. "Might I ask why you feel like this, though?"

@爱∙jin ten ᵒ Dejun nodded his head while at the same time shrugging his shoulders at the omega's words. He took a deep sigh before starting to fidget with the necklace around his neck. After a few minutes, he took off the necklace and clenched it in his hand. He shook his head, biting down hard on his lip. "No, not really," he whispered, glancing up at the omega. "I.. I'm confused honestly. I-- I'm scared that my friend doesn't want to be my friend anymore... And I don't know if it's because I joined a new pack or if it's because I'm too clingy or.. I don't know." He shut his mouth, shaking his head because he felt like he was rambling.

He was rather surprised that he hadn't been immediately shut out. He half expected to be due to the fact he was just a random passerby. "Are you okay? You seem down," he started, "I, um.. I can't and won't try to force you to tell me what's bothering you, but if you do feel like you can, I'm happy to listen. I don't like seeing others upset or anything in the like. So, if I can be of some kind of help, please, let me know."

@爱∙jin ten ᵒ Dejun's head popped up at the voice, not having expected anyone to come and talk to him. He bit his lip, pulling on the strings off his hoodie as he stared at the other male. His brain was running a mile a minute, trying to figure out how to respond or even what to say. He shyly bowed his head and shrunk further down the wall. "I- It's okay," he said in a soft whisper. He wiped his eyes, which had started to tear up. He glanced at the ground, unsure of what to say. He was never really great at interacting with others. Especially new people. There were a few exceptions, of course. So he just stayed silent, waiting to see if the other would say anything else.

@爱∙jin dejun ᵇ Ten was taking his daily stroll for some fresh air when he noticed the figure sitting outside of the tower, practically curled into a ball against the wall. He hummed softly to himself and frowned, dark brown eyes studying the male for a moment before he decided to approach him. He wasn't sure who he was, why he was there, or if he was even friendly, but he felt that something was off. He wanted to at least try to be of help, if he were allowed. "Hey.. Pardon me for bothering you, but I hope it's okay that I sit with you.. I couldn't help but notice you all by your lonesome, and.. something told me to come and talk to you," he spoke in a soft voice so he wouldn't startle the other. "Is it okay?"

@爱∙jin ten ᵒ Dejun sat outside the tower, curled up against the wall with his hood up. He felt truly alone and honestly terrified. He knew none of his pack mates, and he had no idea what was happening with his new friendship. Whatever it was, he couldn't stop blaming himself for screwing whatever it was up. This is why he never got close to anyone. Because he always ended up messing things up, somehow someway. He couldn't help but feel unbelievably sad. He honestly didn't even want to show his face in public. His heart hurt so much at this point.
