"Open it? I don't think I will. I told you I had questions for you." Yeonjun pointed out as he put the car in gear to pull away from the curb. "You're going to answer them for me. I want to know what kind of man is calling around paying money to find out about you." He explained, because that was partially true, but really his interest was piqued by his omega and the perfect circumstances to pick him up. It was hard to turn away, so he made his way back to his own apartment. "Are you going to corporate and come inside? Or am I actually going to have to take you to the station and lock you up? I'd rather not go all the way back to work, honestly."

@α yeonjun There was an uneasy sensation from being in a police car, even if Beomgyu knew he was no criminal he felt as if he was about to get arrested. That sensation only became stronger once the officer brought up the money. "People are what?" He asked in disbelief. Being away from home caused him to be spared from the politics of the family, he was only informed there was an alpha who he was supposed to marry and nothing else. Any issues between the families didn't make it to his ears - but it was naive of him to assume they didn't exist. "." The omega immediately tried to open the door, but no matter how many times he pulled the handle it wouldn't even budge. His next resort was to hit the window in hopes of breaking the glass, which unsurprisingly was bulletproof and extremely resistant. "Open the door. What do you even think you're getting from this? Selling me off?"

@ω beomgyu “I’ll treat you how you act.” Yeonjun answered simply, nodding when Beomgyu finally listened and climbed into the car. Yeonjun climbed back into the drivers seat and flicked off the lights at the same time that he locked the doors. They were all child locked so they couldn’t be opened from the inside. It made dealing with uncooperative criminals easier. “I really thought you might make this a little harder. There are people willing to pay quite a bit of money for information on you, you know.”

@α yeonjun Once the officer spoke again, Beomgyu stopped dead on his tracks and turned around. "What happened to my family?" He tried to keep his cool but the worry was clear in his tone of voice. Despite all their differences, Beomgyu cared deeply about his parents and siblings. In the heat of the moment it escaped him that he'd at least have gotten a message from a relative if something had indeed happened. The following threats at him made his furrow his brows; the situation was only becoming more confusing. "If you know my family you should know better than to treat me like a lowlife," he said before he glanced around. With the lights on top of the car , some neighbors were starting to peek through their windows. The last thing he wanted was to start a commotion, so he decided to get into the car and get it over with as soon as possible. "So what is it? I'm tired, I don't want to spend my whole night on this."

@ω beomgyu "It's about your family." Yeonjun called after the omega, keeping his expression neutral despite the spark of excitement that lit within him when Beomgyu didn't immediately cooperate. It would be far more fun this way. Sighing as if he was put out he put the car in park but kept it running, stepping out of the vehicle as he flipped a switch to turn on the red and blue flashing lights. "It's late, I don't want to have to take you in. So you can either get in the front seat and we can chat nicely, or I'll put you in the back and take you down to the station. It's really up to you." He said, leaning against the door of his car and watching Beomgyu with a neutral expression. He knew the lights could easily draw attention, but there wasn't a damn person in that town who would be stupid enough to point a finger of blame at the Police Chief. If something happened to Beomgyu, well... it certainly couldn't have been the officer who had only been doing his job.

@α yeonjun Beomgyu only noticed the car once it was already by his side, freezing in surprise. His heart was almost beating out of his chest and he was ready to run when the word ‘police’ made him sigh in relief. The relief only lasted a moment however, why did an officer know his name? And what questions could he possibly answer? He knew he hadn’t violated the law, if anyone around him was a murderer he’d rather keep his distance than cooperate. After glancing back and forth between the badge and the officer as if to check if it was really him in the picture, he focused his gaze on the male in the car. “Sir, I think you’ve got the wrong person. Nothing out of the ordinary happened around me lately. I don’t know how I could be of help,” he said with a blank face, turning on his heels as soon as he was done. He could tell the other was an alpha, one more on his list of reasons for him to stay away.

@ω beomgyu As soon as Yeonjun spotted the boy he started the car, driving up to pull up next to him and roll down his window, flashing his badge. "Choi Beomgyu? I'm Police Chief Choi Yeonjun, I have a few questions for you if you could join me?" He kept his tone appropriately apologetic for the late hour, evening offering his badge if Beomgyu wanted to take it to verify its authenticity. Being the police chief of this backwater place definitely had plenty of perks, but the willingness of people to look the other way when he was involved was by far one of the best. He learned from his father that the good ol' boy mentality within the corrupted police force was thriving and it hadn't lessened after Yeonjun took over. Committing crime was so much easier when you were the one meant to solve those crimes.

A sense of excitement and anticipation gripped him as he waited to see just how easy Beomgyu would make the situation. If he would accept the story at face value because he was a good little law abiding citizen, or if he would argue and fight it. Make it that much harder for Yeonjun and that much more satisfying when he won in the end. Winning was never in question, he was going to get exactly what he wanted because the entire deck was stacked in his favor, and the poor omega had no idea that he was already trapped.

@α yeonjun Beomgyu had moved to the Fenrir’s Brood territory for two years. His parents often tried to convince him to give up his studies and move back to his hometown. Still, somehow his argument that being a doctor was a fitting profession for an omega to look after his future children always managed to win. Maybe it was because he was pretending to care about his rank for once, his conservative parents must be proud and thinking he was maturing. He had even promised to marry the alpha they had found for him after he graduated - a promise he had no intention of keeping, but no one had to know that.

The last Friday class was hands-on, and his group would always screw something up, making them stay after hours to finish the daily tasks. At least he was finally arriving home, an apartment in a high-rise building where he lived by himself. It was only a few blocks from the station to his place, a short walk in a calm residential neighborhood. Tired, Beomgyu was barely paying attention to his surroundings, only thinking about what he would eat once he got home - unaware he might not even make it to his building that night.

@beomgyu "Yeah, I got it, don't worry. I'll find out everything you need to know. Mhmm, of course. Bye." Hanging up the phone Yeonjun tapped his finger against the desk before a slow smirk overtook his features. He hadn't thought about the Choi family since before his father died, and he certainly wouldn't have thought twice about that worthless omega son of theirs. However, this was just too perfect to pass up. It was about time those bastards paid for the trouble they caused and learned not to cross Yeonjun ever again. Opening up a new tab on his computer he quickly pulled up the database. Running a quick search on 'Choi Beomgyu' in the area gave him exactly what he needed it was easy enough to snap a picture of the address and shut down his computer.

Pushing away from his desk he called out to the others at the station that he was calling it a night. The chorus of good-byes followed him as he left the building. Tracking down one little omega wasn't going to be hard, not when he already knew where the brat lived. He stopped at home first, swapping out his cruiser with a plain black sedan that wouldn't stand out on the street. The omega only lived a handful of minutes away so it wasn't long that he was pulling up to the street, parking a few buildings down but still within view of his residence to sit and wait.
