@β eric sohn it was a good weather today. jaemin has been wanting to find some necessities for his upcoming heat, stuffs like suppressants, candies and sweets , snacks and such so he can have his heat comfortably. tho it's pretty much uncomfortable. he decided to meet up his beta friend , Eric who happened to be his childhood friend too. they've known each others way too much that they decided if they are not getting mate or married yet after 20 years , they would marry each others. what a joke between childs of course. ofc jaemin took that as a jokes. like he would never want to marry eric tho, basically because he's not his type or something. hah. cliché. that's how it sounds. he steps into the convenience store and looks around for his stuffs first and at the same time he's waiting for his bestie to come over as well.

@α new the day shift was hyuk's least favorite, and as far as he knew it was the reason his manager rarely scheduled him for it. it certainly had nothing to do with the fact that the crowd he usually attracted tended to come around during the swing shifts. for him, day shift was all drudgery and customers who were in such a hurry that even greetings were a nuisance to them. it was enough to put him in a sour mood by the time his relief had clocked in. he stood in the backroom beside his locker, fingers tapping against the door as he considered what to do about the situation he was in.

for anyone else, the surprise of a paid bill probably would have been a relief. for hyuk, it felt emasculating. the thought had him bouncing his knee as he stared daggers into a point on the wall. these was the off chance that the utility company had just made a mistake, but when the bill was already delinquent, would they have? the bill had been missing from his bag which would have just been too convenient. he knew the most likely answer even without having to enter confrontation, and yet he had still taken his break to call his friend and asked to meet up after his shift. he shrugged into his jacket and grabbed his bag from off the bench, hauling it up onto his shoulder by both straps before heading out from the backroom out to the sidewalk and the outer tables to wait with what small peace offering he had to offer: two canned coffees held in one hand while he scrolled through his phone with the other.
