Welcome to the first ever event of the Venus Lounge and what good timing? It feels only right that for a place built on debauchery and being your true self, that we should celebrate it's one-month anniversary during Halloween!
Remember that your participation is not required for this event but we highly encourage that you do participate; if not for the activity, but for the fun!

Halloween at The Venus Lounge is always a special time of year; with y costumes, overflowing alcohol towers and glorious, glorious parties, it's no wonder that the club is often packed to the Brim on such a spooky night.
But something is different this year-
There's a change in the air, and it's affecting more then just peoples moods.
[ Monster Menagerie ] will begin on the morning of October 28th as our lovely Pearls either head to bed after working the night shift or are waking up to get ready for the day.
A client will be the first to discover that the entrance has been blocked, seemingly from the outside. That's certainly odd but it's ok, they think, there's plenty of other ways to get out; except the next exit they come across is locked, and so is the next, and the next. Until they make the startingly discovery that all doors leading to the outside are blocked. And the windows are not much better, in fact, they're entirely unbreakable.
The conclusion: all inside are trapped.
Chaos will ensue as everybody present, including the Pearls, attempts their best to escape only to find that nobody can find a way out.
In their blind panic, the inhabitants of the lounge(excluding some keener eyed individuals) will fail to notice the soft purple mist being released from the Lounge's vent system until it's far too late- the change has already begun, and nobody is safe.
Though they don't know it, on November 2nd, all will wake to find their fantastical and monstrous adventures have disappeared in a puff of smoke; nothing but a fuzzy, strange memory.

To participate in the event, muns will need to select a fantasy, horror or supernatural creature for their muse to turn into for the duration of the event. We have no limits, so please go wild! Vampires, angels, cyborgs and krakens, if your imagination can think it, you can be it.
The event will extend across the entire roleplay however any existing threads will not be affected(meaning you won't suddenly be a werewolf if you're sharing secrets in the Grotto, etc). We have set up this tab to include some more... specific rooms relating to the event; each will have a description for what they're for and what you can do in there.
Due to some upcoming changes to how the Venus Lounge will operate as a roleplay; all events, starting with the Menagerie will remain permanently open for all kinds of supernatural fun. You are permitted to take your threads outside of the event rooms however we'd encourage you utilise the rooms as much as possible.
I(Jungkook/Saorsa) am still deciding if I will private the tab and then leave an accessible mini-masterlist so that roleplayers can still access the rooms or if I'll leave it open to the public. Whatever I decide will be included in the next announcement regarding Christmas.
